Monday
During lunch, a concerned Taylor told Thomas and Steffy that Forrester Creations was still their birthright despite Bill being the new owner. Taylor pushed her kids to make their marks in the company and Steffy shared that she has an idea for a new campaign. Thomas suddenly realized that they were late for a meeting and they bolted from the table.
At Forrester, Katie was peeved that Eric and Ridge were skipping her first staff meeting. Brooke explained it would take time for the guys to adjust to the changes at the company. Thorne, Rick, Steffy and Thomas finally arrived
and new publicity ideas were discussed. Steffy pitched a campaign built around the Logan sisters that would be based on old Hollywood glamour. Everyone loved the idea and Katie adjourned the meeting.
THE CATWALK studio audience was bored by Donna's interview with a fashion photographer. After the show wrapped up, Donna fretted to Justin that she was doing a lousy job. Justin gave her a pep talk just as Eric arrived. He
was surprised to learn that Justin is the executive producer and also handpicked Donna to be the hostess, even though she had no experience. "You're trying to get close to my wife," Eric accused. Bill showed up and sensed the tension but Eric announced that Donna was no longer going to be
part of THE CATWALK. Bill challenged Donna to make that decision and asked for her opinion but Eric escorted his wife away. Once they were alone, Eric asked her to go away so he could remember the good things in his life but Donna reminded him that she is vice president of Forrester. She also pointed out that being on a TV has been a longtime fantasy of hers. Eric acknowledged that and walked away. Marcus approached Donna and assured that this new TV gig was her destiny. She became uncomfortable when Justin said
it would be so easy for them to pick up where they left off with their relationship because they still had fire and passion. "I can definitely fill your needs," he vowed. "I want you to come back to me."
Tuesday
Determined not to let infertility problems get her down, Bridget returned to work. First order of business for that day was a meeting at Jackie M to discuss new campaign ideas. Whip suggested that they jump on the green bandwagon and get back to nature. He wanted Owen and Jackie to represent lust and temptation by posing as the new Adam and Eve. Bridget admitted that she always wanted to work with natural materials but Stephanie objected to the idea, explaining that the Garden of Eden represents lying and cheating. But once the concept was debated, Stephanie came around to the idea.
Katie presented Bill with a new idea for the next publicity campaign that would capitalize on Hollywood glamour. After revealing that this was Steffy's brainchild, Bill deemed that Hollywood was the wrong image for Forrester. Katie strongly disagreed. Steffy interrupted to announce that Katie was needed in another department. Before leaving, Katie pushed Steffy to pitch her concept to Bill. At first, Steffy was a little uncooperative since she was facing the man who took away her grandfather's company, but Bill urged her to dazzle him. She made a quick phone call, then talked up her Old Hollywood idea with enthusiasm. Two models showed up, wearing designs that Steffy said would represent her vision, and Bill was impressed by her persistence. Katie returned and Steffy was surprised when Bill said he liked her idea after all.
Bridget came across Owen's material about surrogacy and Nick thought itwould be a great solution, though she was a little turned off by the fact that she wouldn't be able to carry the baby. After a pep talk from Nick, Bridget promised to consider the option.
Wednesday
While luxuriating in the steam room, Brooke and Ridge created more heat with a make out session. When they came up for air, he expressed his appreciation for her efforts to try and buy Forrester Creations back from Bill. Brooke suggested they get dressed and find out if Spencer agreed to Steffy's new Hollywood Glamour campaign.
At Bill's office, Katie thanked him with a smoldering kiss for green lighting Steffy's new campaign idea. Impressed with the young lady'screativity and professionalism, they decided to offer Katie's old job as head of publicity to Steffy. Katie headed over to Forrester and informed Steffy of her promotion, which thrilled her to no end. Steffy asked Katie to
thank Bill for her but Katie urged Steffy to do it herself. After Steffy left, Ridge and Brooke arrived and were happy to hear that the Hollywood Glamour concept was a go. They were then surprised to learn that Steffy was appointed head of publicity. Brooke voiced her concern that Steffy may not
be ready but Ridge was proud of his daughter. Ridge announced that with Steffy involved he will do anything he can to make the new line a success.
Nick and Bridget asked Owen about the surrogacy agency he was investigating and Mr. Knight attested that the place seemed on the up and up. Bridget excitedly suggested to Nick that they make an appointment. She called the owner of the agency, Andrea and she said she would come right over for a
talk. When she arrived, the Marones talked about themselves and their desire to have a baby. While looking through the catalogue of candidates, Bridget was intrigued by a picture of Sandra Sommers. Andrea said she would set up a meeting with Sandra.
Steffy showed up at Bill's office and thanked him for her new job. She was taken aback when Bill referred her to his interior designer to decorate her new office. He pointed out that she had the potential to be as successful as her namesake, Stephanie. Steffy was flattered by Bill's confidence in her. After she called him Mr. Spencer, he insisted she call him Bill.
Andrea called Sandy and left her a message about meeting a new couple, as the camera panned an empty apartment that was cluttered with myriad baby articles. Andrea also reminded that she went out on a limb to sell Sandy to the Marones.
Thursday
Bill dropped by the first photo shoot for the Hollywood Glamour campaign to wish Steffy luck. The Logan sisters then strode out in their fabulous beaded dresses, ready to face the camera. As the session proceeded, Bill was impressed how Steffy took command and suggested different set ups. Ridge thanked Bill for treating Steffy with respect and Spencer reiterated his faith in her potential. After the photo shoot, Katie and Brooke observed that Ridge's harsh stance toward Bill seemed to be softening.
Donna ran into Justin, who came on to her again. She reminded him of her marriage so he switched gears and wanted to know if she was still going to host THE CATWALK. She didn't have an answer and he pointed out that she's done enough sacrificing in her life for other people's happiness.
Steffy showed up at Bill's office to show him the proofs from the shoot. He looked them over and declared the photo shoot a success. Steffy was thrilled and they engaged in some cute but not-so-professional banter.
Andrea phoned Bridget to report that she had a family emergency and couldn't arrange a meeting with Sandy, the surrogate candidate. Andrea then gave Sandy's phone number and urged Bridget to make contact. Bridget called Sandy, who seemed annoyed and sullen at first. Upon finding out that Bridget was calling about the surrogate agency, Sandy's attitude quickly brightened, especially when, during their conversation, she Googled Bridget and discovered she is an heiress married to Nick Marone. Bridget asked if they could meet today, and as Sandy eyed a package of hair dye, she agreed.
Friday
A harried Katie told Ridge and Brooke that she was overwhelmed with wedding preparations. That also meant that she hasn't even found a dress to wear yet. Ridge said he could remedy that problem and momentarily left the office. He returned with a garment bag and announced it was her wedding dress that he personally designed. She was moved. Ridge said he did it because she is Brooke's sister. Katie excitedly scampered out of the office
so she could try the dress on. She came back and tearfully declared that the dress is perfect, and gave Ridge a grateful hug.
Sandy (now with lighter hair) arrived at Jackie M to meet Nick and Bridget. The ladies connected over yoga and dieting, so Nick asked what motivated Sandy to become a surrogate. She explained that she loved children, plus she wanted to give her life a higher purpose. Sandy stepped out for a moment. Bridget was won over but Nick suggested they interview other candidates. Bridget didn't think they could find anyone as qualified as Sandy but reluctantly agreed to continue with the search. Nick called in Sandy, who said, "I would be honored to carry your baby." When the Marones started to explain that they wanted to look over other possible surrogates, Sandy gave a heart-tugging speech about how Nick and Bridget would make perfect parents. They decided right then and there to hire Sandy.
Steffy was surprised when Bill admitted to respecting her parents and grandparents. He said he also believed in Steffy's potential, and she was touched by his vote of confidence. She noticed his sword necklace and he revealed that it meant to never give up. She drew closer and fondled the sword. "I want to be your biggest success story," Katie gushed, then impulsively kissed her boss. She pulled back as they looked at each in other in shock.
