Bold and Beautiful Recaps
B&B Week of November 15, 2010
Monday
At home, Ridge made a latte for Brooke. She told him how much she loved him. "It's just coffee," he cracked. She added how grateful she is that he forgave her for the Thomas incident. He suggested that she work from home for a few days and she liked the idea. She was determined to convince Stephanie that Thomas's kiss was just a publicity stunt.
Taylor sat in her bed and kept watching the video of Brooke and Thomas kissing. Whip reminded her that it wasn't a big deal, but she was concerned about her son getting caught up in Brooke's drama. After, Whip called Ridge and asked him to stop by so that he could help Taylor deal with everything. He left the exes alone to talk. Taylor confided how upset she was over Thomas's actions. Ridge understood and pulled her into an embrace. He agreed that the kiss was inappropriate, but noted that it was just a stunt. "Brooke is not trying to harm our son," he stated, but Taylor wanted her rival to stay away. Ridge said that she could call him if she needed to talk. They agreed that they'd always love each other and cherish the years that they spent together. Taylor bashed Brooke by stating that Brooke can't avoid scandals. Ridge replied that it's over and Thomas is safe.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas undressed and then stared at a photo of Brooke. He thought back to the kiss. Madison interrupted and expressed her admiration of Thomas's physique. He quickly got dressed and explained that he had to make some changes to his men's line, per Brooke's notes. Madison replied that Brooke knows her stuff — especially how to kiss. Marcus interrupted and asked if something was going on. Thomas replied that it was just Madison being Madison. He then questioned Thomas about kissing Brooke and Thomas replied that people finally recognize his line.
At the beach house, Oliver awoke in bed with Amber, but thought about Hope. Amber asked if he had regrets about being with her and he said that he didn't. Amber thanked him for letting her stay. He offered to make her breakfast, but she knew that he really wanted to be with Hope. She added that she doesn't have any expectations and just wants Ollie as a friend. They kissed. Later, Ollie made her pancakes and Amber thanked him for forgiving her.
At the Forrester manse, Bridget took care of a recovering Stephanie. Brooke soon stopped by and Steph sarcastically asked if she'd kissed anyone inappropriate that day. Brooke asked if they could speak privately. Bridget left and Brooke shared that Ridge has forgiven her. She then asked if Steph could forgive her, as well, but Stephanie refused. Brooke reminded her of all they'd been through over the past few weeks. Stephanie was angry with her for humiliating her family. "I thought that you and I would be able to do something wonderful together for other people," Steph sighed. Brooke promised that there would be no more indiscretions, but Stephanie didn't believe her. Brooke again tried to explain how Thomas had roped her into his stunt, but Steph thought that she should've acted like a responsible adult. "You'd better stay away from my grandson," Stephanie warned. Brooke left, dejected.
Thomas sat alone and thought about how his mom had warned him of Brooke being trouble. He again eyed the photo of Brooke and then looked at the tabloid cover that featured their kiss. He kept flashing back to the smooch. Brooke interrupted and he dropped the magazine. She became suspicious when he locked the door for privacy. She sensed that something was bothering him and asked if he wanted to talk about the kiss. He stated that the kiss would happen again and again — whether they liked it or not. "Something happened," he declared. "My life has been changed forever."
Tuesday
At Forrester Creations, Thomas told Brooke that their kiss is going to be viewed over and over again, around the world. "It's the most powerful kiss I've ever felt; it's an iconic moment," he stated. "Our kiss has a life of its own." Brooke was just relieved that he didn't want to kiss her again. However, he told her that when he gets married, he wants to find a woman just like her — but added that he respects her marriage to Ridge. Brooke warned him that Ridge is upset and might pull the men's line. Thomas asked if things were okay between his dad and Brooke; she said that they were, but that she was never going to participate in another stunt. Thomas felt badly for possibly hurting her and Ridge's relationship.
Outside of FC, the paparazzi bombarded Ridge with questions about the kiss. Ridge reminded them that the show was about the men's line and not the smooch, but the reporters (including Jarrett) continued to pepper him with queries. Ridge shoved through them and headed inside. He joined Brooke and Thomas and noted that the kiss was garnering a lot of attention, and wondered what they should do about it. Later, Eric, Rick and Thorne arrived so they discuss the scandal. Eric thought that they should drop the men's line, calling it "tainted." Ridge argued that they're making headlines.
At the beach house, Amber thanked Oliver for being so cool about everything. She offered to help him clean or do laundry — or wax his surfboard. He joked that if she wants to be his maid, she should put on a little outfit. She confided that he's her only friend and didn't understand how he could be so forgiving. After, Aggie called and complained to Oliver about Amber, stating that Amber should be arrested. Amber quietly giggled as she listened. Still, Amber thought that she did deserve to go to jail for stealing the designs. She wondered why he didn't turn her in and warned him that she has a history of hurting people whom she cares about. Amber was about to leave, but Oliver had a hunch that he could actually trust her. He decided to work from home so he could hang out with his "friend" for the day.
At Taylor and Whip's, he asked if her talk with Ridge helped her feel better. She replied that it did, but was still obsessed over the idea of Brooke and Thomas working together.
Ridge surprised everyone at FC when he suggested that they run with the scandal and use it to promote the men's line. Thorne called it "taboo." "Exactly," replied Ridge enthusiastically. Thomas was thrilled and loved Ridge's decision to name it Taboo. Ridge was ready to give the public a show — and wanted to incorporate the kiss into the logo. Taylor later arrived and demanded that Brooke get away from Thomas. She saw the Taboo logo and believed that it was Brooke's idea. Ridge set her straight and explained that it was his brainstorm. Taylor was furious. "I will not allow it!" she stated.
Wednesday
Taylor was furious that Ridge wanted to call Thomas's men's line "Taboo" and use the kiss to promote it. She refused to "allow" it, but Thomas noted that she didn't get a say. Ridge pointed out that the kiss was helping business at Forrester Creations and Thomas agreed. Taylor called him irresponsible. "It was just a kiss," Thomas repeated, but Taylor wasn't appeased. "It puts me on the map. I'm proud of what I've done," Thomas said. Brooke accused Taylor of overreacting, but Taylor disagreed. "You have no decency, no class," Taylor shouted. Thomas asked his mother to stop treating him like a child, but she feared that Brooke would take advantage of him. Thomas called her crazy, but Taylor went on a rant about how Brooke has seduced all of the Forrester men. Thomas shared that he went on a date with Madison, but it still didn't make Taylor feel better.
Eric kept Stephanie company at the hospital while she waited to get the results of her latest exam. She planned to take the bus home, but he didn't want her to do that. She then told him that he could go, but Eric wanted to be there with her. She warned that she'll be extra crabby while undergoing chemo and will lose her hair. Eric was prepared to be there for her every step of the way and looked forward to spending many more years with her. Dr. Lewis joined them and reminded Stephanie that as long as she keeps fighting, there was hope. "I'm in need of a miracle," Stephanie admitted. Dr. Lewis revealed that Steph's results are promising. Dayzee soon arrived and Stephanie gave her the great news. Dayzee was thrilled. Dayzee had more good news: her friend was released from rehab and got her baby back. The doc then told Stephanie that she could get the tumors removed from her brain that day. Stephanie was intrigued when Dr. Lewis explained that it wasn't traditional surgery and that it would be done with lasers — and that she'd be up and about the next day. "Let's do it," Stephanie said. Before heading into the OR, Steph told Eric how much she loves him. He and Dayzee watched as she was wheeled away and Eric gave the young woman a comforting squeeze.
Ridge got a call from Eric about Stephanie's procedure. Brooke suggested that they take a break from their discussion, but Taylor continued to go on and on. Ridge implored Taylor to not involve Stephanie since she had other things to deal with. He and Brooke were about to head to the hospital, but Taylor stopped them and said that she's going to fight them. Ridge basically blew past her as he replied that Brooke and Thomas make a great team.... Stephanie marveled at how high-tech the machine was. A concerned Eric watched. Dayzee called Stephanie a remarkable woman. Eric promised to do more to help Steph with her cause and said that he doesn't want to live without her.
Thursday
At Forrester Creations, Hope met Liam for lunch. He joked about having to work a lot and she asked if he'd be her date to her "Endless Summer" party. He agreed and said how much he misses her. Hope understood that he was busy at Spencer Publications. Hope then confessed to him about Oliver kissing her twice. Liam wasn't surprised and said that Hope should be upset with him since he'd been neglecting her. Hope replied that Liam would make it up to her by being her date. She later said that she feels like she's grown up a lot over the past few months and reminded him how much he means to her. He asked if Oliver was invited and Hope confirmed that he was; she planned to stop Ollie from chasing after her. Liam asked Hope to promise that she won't forget about him, and promised that he won't forget her. He vowed to be a better boyfriend.
At Oliver's, Amber found an invitation to Hope's party. He said that he wasn't planning to go and reminded her that she could stay as long as she wants. Amber wanted to show her appreciation by helping him get back Hope. Oliver reminded her that Hope is with Liam, but Amber didn't see the other guy as being much of an obstacle. She implored Ollie to go to the party and bring Hope home so they could sleep together. She planned to come up with a way to make Liam miss the party.
Stephanie's procedure continued at the hospital. The doctors, Eric and Dayzee spoke to her while the medics worked and Stephanie joked about wishing she were home sipping a martini. Ridge and Brooke arrived and Dr. Lewis explained how they were using highly focused radiation to get rid of the tumors. Everyone was hopeful that Steph wouldn't need conventional brain surgery. While they waited for the results, they discussed the FC scandal. Ridge was willing to take a chance with the Taboo line. Soon, the procedure was completed and the gang went to see Stephanie. Steph was happy to have them there — even Brooke. Brooke shared that they're moving ahead with the men's line. Stephanie didn't like the name "Taboo" and wasn't surprised that Taylor was so upset about it. She asked Brooke what she planned to do next and reamed her out for going along with Taboo. Brooke argued that it was Ridge's idea and insisted that she has nothing going on with Thomas. She promised that there would be no more scandals and urged Steph not to be paranoid like Taylor. Brooke then reminded her mother-in-law of the amazing moments they'd shared together. "I'm never going to have any peace from you," Stephanie cracked. Brooke was determined to be by her side until she was cancer free. "Is that a promise or a threat?" Steph asked. "A promise," Brooke replied.
Friday
Hope made some calls about her "Endless Summer" party. She then took a call from Liam, who said that he'd meet her at the party. She asked him not to be late and he promised to be there with her. Katie and Bill joined him and Liam repeated that he's not letting his girlfriend down. Katie was glad to hear that, but Bill didn't look thrilled about the party.... Hope lamented to Madison about how busy Liam has been. Still, Hope thought that they were in a good place. Madison reminded her how absence makes the heart grow fonder and joked about sexual tension. Hope admitted that she and Liam haven't yet slept together, but added that she's been thinking about it. Madison also hoped that she and Thomas would grow closer at the party.
Meanwhile, Amber encouraged Oliver to make his move on Hope at the party. He wasn't sure that it would work, but Amber stated that he's an incredible guy. She assured him that she'd "take care" of Liam. She made some calls to get information on Liam and instructed Ollie to bring Hope back to his place. After, Oliver called Hope to let her know that he'll be at the party. Madison wondered how Liam would feel, but Hope was sure that Liam would be okay with it. Madison wasn't so sure.
Bill planned to call a limo for Liam so Liam wouldn't have to worry about drinking. Bill encouraged his son to find some hot girls at the party, but Katie reminded her husband that Liam has a girlfriend. Meanwhile, Amber lurked outside the Spencers' home and overheard Liam mention the limo.... Donna joined Katie and Bill for drinks at their place. Bill complained about Liam and Hope's relationship, but Katie didn't see what the big deal was. Donna praised Bill for making an effort with his son, but Katie mocked the advice that Bill gave him. Bill thought that Liam has potential as a reporter.
People began arriving for Hope's party on the beach. Marcus said hello to Rick and wondered where Hope was. They joked about her wanting to make an entrance. Thomas soon arrived and was accosted by the press. He told them that this was Hope's night and not his. Rick vowed to make sure that nothing ruined Hope's night. Hope and Madison finally arrived. Hope fielded questions from the press and kept an eye out for Liam. She invited everyone to have a good time, then hung out with Rick and Marcus and Marcus's date, April (who just to clarify, was not Amber's twin, April). Hope then said hello to Ollie and thanked him for attending. She asked if he'd seen Liam, but he hadn't. Later, Madison hinted to Oliver that it was going to be Hope and Liam's "big night." Ollie was not pleased to hear this.
Liam's limo arrived and was driven by a Russian female with dark hair — who was really Amber in disguise! He told her where the party was and she planned to take him on a "short cut." She also snatched his cell phone without him noticing. Uh oh. Liam wanted to call Hope, but the driver assured him that it wasn't necessary and promised that they'd be there soon. Liam didn't think that they were even near the ocean. Meanwhile, Hope kept looking for Liam, while Oliver encouraged her to have fun. She called Liam and got his voicemail... In the limo, Amber erased the message.
