Monday

Ann stirred in the hospital as Stephanie and Pam urged her to tell the doctors her wishes. But Ann was too out of it on drugs to say anything! "What if this is it?" Stephanie demanded of Ann's doctor. "What if she never regains consciousness?" The doc insisted Ann didn't have to die today. Stephanie wanted to make her mom comfortable at home but the doctor stood firm, saying she would only take her cue from Ann or from whomever had Ann's power of attorney: Pam! As Taylor called Steffy to update her, Stephanie demanded Pam decide to let Ann come home. Pam couldn't just sit by and watch her mother die. She gave the doc permission to treat Ann's embolism. Steph noted her sister finally had power, after all these years. Stricken Pam noted that even if this wasn't what Ann wanted, "How much of what we wanted did we ever get from her?" She fled to the chapel while Stephanie sat by Ann's bedside and flashed back to confronting her about her father's abuse.

When Ann finally awoke, she ordered Stephanie to get her out of the hospital. Stephanie explained what had happened to her and told her she had to make her wishes clear, especially as Pam was "afraid" to. Instead of answering, Ann weakly hummed "Beautiful Dreamer." Then, she started talking, admitting she was an awful mother. And if there was a Hell, maybe she wouldn't go there if Stephanie forgave her. Stephanie gently told her she doesn't want her to go to Hell, covered her with her red jacket and comforted her as she wept. Then, Pam came in. "Let me go," pleaded Ann. Then, the doctor and Taylor told the sisters there was a complication: Ann was bleeding internally and didn't have much longer. Back in the guest room, Steffy sifted through Ann's things, finding black and white family photos -- including one of a young Ann on the pier. She set them out as Taylor came home and told her the devastating news. Then the scene shifted to Stephanie and Pam with an unconscious Ann on the beach. She slowly opened her eyes, called her daughters, "Good girls," and gently told Pam to sit up straight. "It's okay, you can go now," Stephanie whispered in her mother's ear. And with the ocean and her girls beside her, Ann passed on. Pam and Steph sat with her on the beach chair as a vision of a young woman in red made her way down the pier and met the horizon.

Tuesday

Stephanie was hugged by her family after they talked about Ann's death. "I think your grandmother is in a better place," Stephanie said. Stephanie remembered the Christmas when Ann had come out and their rift had healed. She was grateful to Eric for having made that happen. Stephanie got teary as she recalled the moment Ann passed.

Steffy was pleased to hear that her great-grandmother had died the way she wanted to. Taylor admitted that she was worried about Stephanie. Steffy thought they should redo Stephanie's room. Taylor told her daughter that Stephanie would move back in with Eric in a minute if she had the chance. Steffy remembered talking to Bill and kissing him. Taylor urged her daughter to open up; Steffy urged Taylor to move on "to a different man," and suggested her mom try online dating. "It will be fun," Steffy said, and began building Taylor an on-line profile.

Donna and Brooke welcomed Katie and Bill back from their honeymoon. They had had their own private island complete with private airstrip! Brooke told them that Stephanie's mother had died. Bill said it was time for them to go back to work, and ordered Donna to cancel her plans with Eric. "We are taping a show tonight. Period," he said firmly. Katie was uncomfortable.

Eric was upset to learn Donna had to cancel. Donna promised to make it up to him. Felicia suggested to Eric that Donna was more
committed to that show "than you, dad." Thorne thought Donna was starting to show her true colors. Ridge added that Stephanie and Eric needed each other. Stephanie was very uncomfortable and told her children not to put their father on the spot. Explaining she needed some time to be alone, Stephanie said she wanted to go to Big Bear. Felicia was very grateful that Stephanie had not become an abusive parent. "You broke the cycle of abuse, Mom," she added. Eric watched as Stephanie hugged her children goodbye.

Bill asked Jared if he'd had any luck in finding his necklace. Bill remembered something but didn't tell him.

Wednesday

Stephanie was grateful to finally be alone with some peace and quiet at the cabin in Big Bear. Eric arrived and interrupted her solitude. She was surprised to see him, but allowed him to join her. He offered her a drink. "You better make it a double!" she quipped. The two former-marrieds reminisced about their former life together, and Stephanie noted that they now both have new lives. "I'm my own person now!" she proclaimed. She pointed out that Eric had Donna and his own new life too. They were glad that they still had each other to lean on. Eric shared his suspicion that Stephanie had secretly wanted him to follow her up to Big Bear. She bristled, but finally admitted that she was glad he was there. After joking about the memory of them "rolling around naked on the bear rug", Eric went off to prepare them some food. Stephanie attempted to sit on the couch, and was startled to be jabbed by Bill's missing sword necklace.

Jarett arrived at Bill's office and assured Bill that his necklace would turn up soon. Katie entered and giggled when Jarett greeted her as "Mrs. Spencer." She hopped into Bill's lap, and the newlyweds began making out.

Donna reported for work at Catwalk and was stunned to discover that Pam would be back at the show so soon after her mother's death. Donna comforted her. Whip arrived for his segment on the show, not realizing that it was a public relations face-off between Forrester and Jackie M. Steffy and Whip went head-to-head defending their new campaigns. Both made digs at each other's fashion houses. The jabs ended with Whip suggesting a competition pitting Forrester's "Hollywood" collection against Jackie M.'s "Adam and Eve" ... right there on Catwalk. A stunned Steffy eventually agreed to the contest, which was met with a roar of audience applause. After the cameras stopped rolling, Steffy was concerned that Katie would be mad at her for acting on impulse by agreeing to the competition. Bill arrived and caught Steffy off guard. "You're just full of surprises, aren't you?" he asked. She defended herself, anticipating a harsh reaction from Bill. Instead, he congratulated her on making a move which would send their ratings through the roof. Steffy was pleased, and congratulated him on his recent wedding. Bill smiled as she walked away.

Taylor and Steffy were huddled over the computer working on a reluctant Taylor's on-line dating profile, when a potential match messaged her. Steffy left for work, despite her mother's protests. Curious, Taylor began reading the potential suitor's messages. She sent a message back, agreeing to meet with him, despite being concerned that his profile didn't include a picture. They picked the Insomnia coffeehouse, and agreed to meet right away to see if they "clicked" in person. Once there, Taylor nervously stood at the bar looking for her date, who would be clad in a beige leisure suit. He walked up behind her and she turned to find her date. "You? You are my date?" she stammered.
