B&B Week of November 30, 2009
Monday
Bill and Katie kissed in Bill's office. Katie thanked him for making her happy and they chatted about living out the rest of their lives in perfect harmony together. He applauded her for making Forrester Creations numbers jump since taking the helm. Katie was pleased and also extended credit to Steffy's savvy PR skills. Katie was positive that her Hollywood campaign would be a hit and marveled at how she's the one responsible for helping to bring the Forresters and Spencers together.
Stephanie returned from Big Bear. She assumed the sword necklace she sat on was Rick's and went to return it to him and scold him for not calling to say he'd been at Big Bear, but he'd just left the office so she gave it to Brooke instead. The women exchanged pleasantries and Brooke tried to console Stephanie about Ann's death. Brooke wasn't so sure the necklace was Rick's.
He later returned to confirm that it's not his and added that he hasn't been to the cabin in months. Brooke quickly realized the necklace belongs to Bill but wondered why he would be at Big Bear.
At home, Steffy scolded herself for putting the moves on Bill. Thomas entered and inquired about their mom going on a date with someone she met online and questioned if she's secretly still holding out for Ridge. Steffy was certain that that's not the case and explained to her brother that Mom just needs a push to get back into the dating world. Meanwhile, at Insomnia, Taylor was dismayed when her online match arrived and it was Carl from the hospital lab and who was involved in the embryo switch scandal. She pointed out that it was one of the darkest times of her life and ran out.
Steffy showed Thomas her new presentation for the Hollywood collection at Forrester. Taylor came back to report her awkward date; Steffy apologized. Then Stephanie arrived and complained about being "stabbed" by the necklace when she sat on it. Taylor, Steffy and Thomas assured Stephanie that she doesn't have to grieve Ann's death alone and lent their support. Then they filled her in on Taylor's dating disaster.
Bill flashed back to making out with Steffy when Brooke arrived to needle him about his marriage to Katie and then brought up the Forrester cabin. He said he'd never been there before. On her way out, she presented him with the necklace, said it was discovered at the cabin and demanded some answers.
Tuesday
Bridget told Nick that she invited Sandy to Jackie M to watch the photo shoot for the Adam and Eve campaign. After Owen and Jackie were photographed for their first setup, Sandy arrived and Bridget introduced her to everyone. Whip still remained silent about Sandy being his cousin. Whip later got a private moment with her and she bristled when he called her Agnes. She insisted that he call her Sandy and he lamented how they used to be close. The photo session resumed and Sandy, suddenly affected by the camera flashing, ran out of the studio. Bridget and Nick followed and asked what was wrong but Sandy said she had to leave and got on the elevator. There, she crouched down and covered her ears, then started sobbing.
Steffy presented Katie with a belated wedding gift. She felt awkward when Katie responded with a grateful hug. Katie was touched to open the present and find a framed wedding photo. After giving thanks, she assured Steffy that she will find a special guy, just like Bill. Close up on Steffy's guilty expression.
"You've got level with me," demanded Brooke as she prodded Bill to explain how his necklace ended up at the Big Bear cabin. He finally confessed that he was there with Steffy to discuss her promotion. Brooke sensed there was more to the story and Bill admitted that Steffy kissed him. Bill insisted the smooch came "from out of the blue" and he did nothing to encourage it. Brooke wondered why Bill didn't say anything to Katie but he considered it a subject not worth telling his wife about. Brooke was very apprehensive about him not being completely honest but he pointed out that it would cause unnecessary upheaval. "Let it go," Bill urged but didn't reveal that there was a second kiss between him and Steffy.
Wednesday
Brooke agonized over Bill's confession that Steffy kissed him. Ridge observed that his wife had tossed and turned all night then asked what was bothering her. He surmised that it had something to do with Bill but she only admitted that he was a hard person to trust. Stephanie called and tattled to Ridge that she found the necklace, still assuming it belongs to Rick, between the sofa cushions at the cabin. When Ridge passed this on to Brooke, she became very peeved.
At Forrester, Rick told Steffy that he hoped she will find a man who will treat her right. He also praised her for the work she's doing with the hernew publicity campaign. After Steffy left, Ridge showed up while Rick was chatting with a lady friend. When Ridge made a crack about Rick's womanizing ways, Rick explained she was someone he met while doing charity work, now that he's trying valiantly to reform his self-absorbed image. Ridge softened and they guys shared a nice moment.
At her trailer, a frazzled Sandy splashed cold water on her face. She seemed gripped by an anxiety attack and was frightened when someone knocked on her door. She peered out the curtains to see Whip, who told her he was worried about her. Sandy reluctantly let him in but got upset when he asked why she shut him out of his life. She told him not to worry and he left.
Katie showed up at Bill's office and playfully scolded him for letting her sleep in. She brought up the necklace ad assured him that it will turn up soon. They started making out so Bill locked the door and they had sex. After Katie dressed and left, Brooke showed up and demanded to know what "exactly happened at that cabin." She revealed where the necklace was found and she accused Bill of getting physical with Steffy. When Bill remained silent, she threatened to go to Steffy for the truth. "I'll tell you what happened," Bill conceded.
Thursday
At Forrester Creations, Katie noticed that Steffy was anxious and
distracted. Katie told Steffy that she is working way too hard at the
office. Katie urged Steffy to talk about what's bothering her and she blathered about making a mistake. Katie assured that the people Steffy loves will forgive her. Later, Steffy was surprised when Rick asked her to go to a basketball game with him but she turned him down. She then confessed to doing something very wrong.
At the doctor's office, Bridget and Nick learned that Sandy is pregnant. The Marones hugged each other and Sandy seemed genuinely thrilled over the news. Bridget enthusiastically embraced Sandy, who shrank away from Nick when he expressed his gratitude. After Sandy left, Nick vocalized her unease around him but Bridget advised him not to make too much of it. Still, Nick said he wanted to talk to Sandy since her pregnancy involved the three of them. Nick then went to Sandy's trailer to give her flowers. She reluctantly allowed him in and he asked why she has such a problem with him. Without looking him in the eye, she denied there was anything wrong.
"I want to know everything that happened between you and Steffy that night," Brooke demanded of Bill. "I want answers." Bill insisted that he loves Katie but Brooke pointed out that he betrayed her sister. Bill explained how, at the cabin, Steffy was showing him shots from a recent photo shoot on her phone when she plastered another kiss on him. He pulled away, left and that was the end of it. Brooke still wanted Katie to know but Bill pointed out that outing Steffy will change the working harmony at Forrester. He urged Brooke to "let it go."
Friday
Brooke refused to keep Katie in the dark and left Bill's office. Alone, he flashbacked to his wedding, then looked troubled (at least for him). Meanwhile, Steffy praised her dad for his newest designs and Katie seconded that opinion. After Ridge and Steffy left, Brooke swept in. "There's something you need to know," Brooke began but Ridge returned and unknowingly interrupted them. Assuming what was on their mind, Katie pointed out to them
how well the company has been flourishing under her husband's ownership, citing Steffy as a prime example. Ridge couldn't help but to agree so Brooke decided not to blab about Bill kissing another woman.
"You're overreacting," Sandy insisted but Nick spotted mail on her table that was addressed to Agnes Jones. Sandy got agitated by Nick's concern and he agreed to leave. But first he asked if she lived alone and when Sandy answered yes, he demanded to know why her mail is listed with a different name. "Who are you?" he pressed but she refused to answer. To her horror, he went through her cupboards and found it stocked with junk food. Sandy tearfully explained that she wanted to experience being pregnant but when
Nick tenderly reached out to her, she pulled back and ordered him not to touch her. He then surmised that she had an issue with men in general.
Ridge told Brooke that he was very happy and proud of how Steffy is doing at Forrester. "I'm thankful that's there's finally some peace around here," he admitted. Later, Brooke was rattled to find Bill in Katie's office, ready to make his confession. Brooke sent her sister on a wild goose chase, then told Bill not to come clean but he insisted that his wife needed to know. Brooke begged him not to go through with it for the sake of their families. Bill walked out and when Brooke encountered Steffy, she spat, "I know what you
did."
