Bold and Beautiful Recaps

B&B Week of November 9, 2009

Monday

Steffy leaned in for a smooch and Bill held her back, saying, "Steffy, no." She immediately apologized for her inappropriate behavior and he told her to just forget about it and move on. Then, he got a text to meet Katie in the Valley! In the outdoors of a residential neighborhood, she told him they have a wedding to plan! Up on the Forrester Sky Lounge, Steffy guiltily flashed back to laying one on her boss and learned from Brooke that Katie's
planning her wedding. She left Bill a message asking him to call her ASAP. Back in the Valley, Katie showed Bill the house she grew up in and the nearby park. "I want you to know me...the real me," she said, asking if they could get married there, in the park. A touched (and bemused) Bill agreed. "I am one lucky guy," he beamed, kissing her.

On the set of THE CATWALK, Donna reminded Justin she's married and committed to Eric, so talk turned to the show. Ratings were down, and Justin revealed that it was the lack of Pam that had sunk them. Her Cat Dance was a sensation! Over at Jackie M, Serge and Pam were watching the Cat Dance vid and raving over the response to it. "You are a trend-setting hipster, sister!" Serge cried. Back on the set, Justin asked Donna to consider bringing Pam on permanently. Donna pointed out she works for the competition. "Ratings," countered Justin. As Pam taught Serge the Cat Dance, Donna called. Serge answered the phone acting as her agent. The duo then headed to THE CATWALK, where Justin offered Pam the co-hosting gig. Serge had a list of crazy demands and a desperate Donna had no choice but to meet some of them. "Seal it with a hug," urged Serge. Donna managed a handshake. Then, Serge and Donna did a celebratory Cat Dance!

Nick and Bridget talked surrogacy details with Sandy, especially "legal mumbo-jumbo" about Sandy relinquishing rights to the baby. They then made it official when they all signed the paperwork. Later, they went to the hospital and got checked out by Dr. Caspary. Bridget was all giddy about getting the medical go-ahead. Sandy looked a little wary. Later, when she was dressed, Nick asked Sandy about herself and she answered in the vaguest possible terms. Then, Bridget came back from her first fertility procedure and hugged Sandy, thanking her for her generosity.

Tuesday

Bill and Katie canoodled in his office, as he noted there was still time to fly off and wed at some exotic locale. Thanks but no thanks! Katie was psyched about getting hitched in the Valley tomorrow. Up in the Sky Lounge, Steffy was flashing back to kissing Bill when Thomas came up demanding the dirty deets of their meeting. He told Steffy that Bill and Katie were marrying tomorrow and she was stunned. Later, Justin told an incredulous Bill he'd hired Pam to co-host THE CATWALK and Bill gave Justin a new assignment: that of his best man! Katie invited Brooke and Donna over for a bachelorette slumber party and revealed the super-secret location of her wedding: the old neighborhood! The sisters beamed over their good fortune and happiness. They ordered takeout and chatted bridal party clothes. Back at Spencer Publications, Bill gave his minions some "marching orders" and Steffy called him to come meet her at Big Bear. Once there, Bill told Steffy she's overreacting over their liplock and it's "no big deal." He assured her no one would find out she kissed him. Back in L.A., the Logan gals feasted on Chinese takeout and reminisced. Katie hoped their mom would be "clear and present" tomorrow and experience the joy of her wedding and told her sisters she cherishes them.

Bridget explained the egg fertilization process to Nick and they hugged, looking forward to their baby. At her place, Sandy read a pregnancy book and chowed down on a sandwich instead of a healthy snack bar. At the hospital, Bridget had an ultrasound and then Dr. Caspary went egg-hunting. Nick made godawful egg puns all the while! After the "eggs-traction" process, Bridget suggested they check in on their surrogate. She called Sandy, who was munching away on potato chips. After hanging up, she asked Nick to reassure her that everything would be fine. "This is meant to be," he murmured, kissing her.

Wednesday

The Logan sisters continued their bachelorette party sleepover by grabbing bottles of champagne and dancing in their jammies on the bed. "Please let tomorrow be just like this!" Katie giggled. Katie, Donna and Brooke reminisced about growing up, and Katie proposed a toast about childhood dreams coming true. Brooke and Donna presented Katie with gifts of lingerie intended for her honeymoon. Katie admitted that the honeymoon location was a surprise, but that she would definitely take along her new sexy wares. Their conversation turned to their family. Katie shared that she had always known that their father would return and would someday walk her down the aisle. The girls hugged and predicted a beautiful wedding the next day. They agreed to band together and to always cherish their closeness. "We ARE the Logan Girls!" Katie exclaimed.

Up at the Forrester cabin in Big Bear, Steffy continued to apologize to Bill for the kiss. Bill was adamant that the kiss meant nothing. "I was not a married man when you kissed me!" he said in an attempt to convince her to forget the incident. She continued to explain her actions, and Bill reassured her that the kiss would not affect her job. "It's over," Bill announced, and got up to leave. Steffy stopped him, and asked to discuss it further. She admitted that she was feeling a lot of guilt, and explained that she kept making the same mistakes over again. "Let's not turn this into a crisis," Bill said, trying to calm her down. "No harm, no foul," he insisted. "Katie is a lucky woman, and I hope you have a long and happy marriage," Steffy responded.

At the hospital, Bridget wanted to get the ball rolling on the baby-making front. "I've done my part, now you get busy!" she playfully commanded Nick. They were interrupted by Carl, the hospital janitor who had been involved with the Taylor-Brooke in vitro mix-up. Bridget was appalled when he cracked a joke about properly labeling her own embryos. Later, in the lab, the doctor explained how the fertilization process would go. Bridget called Sandy to alert her that they were beginning the process, and that they would be ready for her in two days. After hanging up, Bridget and Nick watched in awe as the doctor began the lab work. They kissed tearfully as emotions washed over them. "This time it's going to end with a perfect little miracle!" Bridget whispered as she and Nick embraced.

Thursday

Serge ran around making last-minute reception arrangements at the Forrester mansion as Stephanie came by. Eric was thankful to see her as "Peter Pan" was plaguing him with questions. Later, Eric and Steph had martinis and talked about Stephanie's recent health issues and Eric's situation in the wake of the takeover. When he revealed Justin is Marcus' father, Stephanie actually assured him Donna loves him! Of course, then she sniped about the Logans multiplying like rabbits! She and Eric decided to help themselves to Bill's reception caviar and bubbly! When Donna called to see where he was, Eric said he's ditching the wedding because of how he feels about Bill.

Down in the Valley, Stephen ushered Beth to their old house and Ridge found Karen watching the kids playing in the park. They chuckled over jet-setter Bill getting married in Van Nuys. Elsewhere, Katie and her sisters got ready for the big day, looking radiant! Katie was thrilled about having a wedding surrounded by family. Much to Stephen's surprise, Beth's memory seemed to bloom. She recalled hanging the girls' bathing suits on the rail, where her car used to be parked, etc! Then, they ran into their old neighbors Kelly and Mike...and introduced them to Bill. Kelly (Erin Moran) told Bill he's marrying a real "sweetheart." Bill was a bit taken aback by the friendliness of the community. He thanked Ridge for designing Katie's gown and then shared a moment with his half-sister. Brooke and Katie shared a sisterly moment as well. Back in the Valley, Justin caught up with Stephen and Beth and the guys connected over missing time with their kids. Then, Justin took Marcus on a mini-tour of his and Donna's teen memories. Nearby, Jarrett caught up with Bill, who wryly noted they're in "Mayberry." But then Stephen cornered his future son-in-law to warn him he was joining a tight knit family. "You're one of us for life," he said. Bill said he's "honored" and promised to take care of Katie for the rest of his life. Stephen hugged him and he seemed, dare we say, a little misty! Donna found Justin gazing at a tree where they'd carved their initials and the duo reminisced. But, "when I love somebody I'm faithful," Donna reminded Justin. "There is no room in my heart for another man." Justin, unperturbed, cited his persistence. Donna assured him that she and Eric are solid but clearly looked a little wistful. Then, it was time for the wedding! Jarrett slipped nervous Bill some wedding vows and Justin called him on it. "This whole neighborhood loves this woman. I have to sound like a poet," he defended. "Speak from the heart!" urged Justin. "I don't have a heart!" Bill reminded.

As the guitarists started strumming, Donna and Brooke made their way down the makeshift aisle of white rose petals. Then, it was Katie's turn. Stephen got ready to walk the radiant bride towards her groom.

Friday

A radiant Katie and Bill wed in the very playground the Logan sisters used to play in opposite their girlhood home. "You take my breath away," he told his bride. The minister shared details of Katie's lonely youth to the guests. "But today, Katie is turning that sadness to joy," he added.

Karen read a Sanskrit poem to the couple. "You have put a smile on the face of my brother who wears a perpetual frown," she said to her new sister-in-law. "You never had a toy of your own," her dad remembered. "Once it was yours, you treated it like it was brand new.” The couple exchanged their own vows, both said they would love each other forever. Bill and Katie were declared husband and wife and everyone hugged and kissed. (Viewers were treated to a flashback of a young Katie, which was actually actress Heather Tom as a very young Victoria on Y&R). The newlyweds drove off in a red Cadillac as Katie glanced back at her old bedroom window.

Meanwhile, at the Forrester estate, Eric and Stephanie bonded over food and martinis before the wedding reception began. Thorne couldn't believe Donna was throwing a party for the man "who stole your company. It's not right." "No it's not," Eric agreed. Thorne loved seeing his parents enjoying each other's company. Eric explained why the wedding was taking place in a public park. He thought it was kind of sweet. "Maybe this is her way to pay tribute to her childhood," he said. Stephanie noted that Katie was a very special girl. Stephanie hoped it was a wonderful day for her. "Let's hope it's everything she wants for herself and her whole family," Stephanie said as the three of them clinked their martini glasses.
