Monday
At the Jackie M boutique, Bridget informed Nick that there was a new
procedure available to determine the maternity of a baby but he said it
didn't matter who the egg donor is, the child belongs to him and Taylor.
Brooke walked in and asked if everything was okay with Taylor. Why else
would her doctor be at the store talking to Nick, Brooke wondered. Bridget
covered that she was interested in a dress and left. Brooke asked if Nick
was sure about selling Forrester Creations but he explained how the deal was
contingent on Eric divorcing Stephanie. Brooke said she may exercise the
option in her contract to stay with Forrester Creations and Nick knew it was
because of the dress maker. "Ridge is my future," she proclaimed.
On his first day back at Forrester Creations, Eric walked into his office to
find his family waiting for him with a welcome back party. "It's a dream
come true," Eric enthused about getting his company back and revealed that
there were about 30 contracts (including Donna's but not Clarke's) that he
acquired but he had six months to decide who would stay and who would go.
Everyone was excited when Brooke arrived, which peeved Ashley. Brooke asked
Eric if she could join their ranks and he agreed, with everyone's cheering
approval. "I can't wait to be part of this family again," Brooke declared
(close up on Ashley looking chagrined).
Ridge later explained to Ashley that he went to Big Bear because Brooke
thought she saw Andy again. Ash was perturbed and stalked away. Brooke
observed the interaction and asked Ridge if he would accompany her to a
counseling session and, as Ashley eavesdropped, he said he would try to make
it. After Ridge left, Ashley accused Brooke of using her rape to manipulate
Ridge. Brooke slapped Ashley, then raged, "Don't you ever, ever say that to
me again!"
Jackie recounted her humiliating bubble bath episode at Eric's house with
Donna to Nick. "Can you imagine Thorne finding out that the woman he almost married
is carrying on with his father?" cried Jackie. Meanwhile, Eric started
making
out with Donna in his office and guess who walked in on them? Yep, Thorne.

Tuesday
As Ashley recoiled from Brooke's slap (damn, that look like it hurt, girl)
she continued to ream Ms. Logan for manipulating Ridge. "I do not support
you taking advantage of the situation," Ash insisted, still rubbing the side
of her face (yeah, ouch!). As the ladies continued to argue, Brooke blurted
out Stephanie's involvement in Andy's attack. Ashley found that hard to
believe but Brooke stressed that despite all of Stephanie's machinations,
her and Ridge's love has survived. "My needs will always come before yours,"
Brooke charged. "Is that the kind of marriage you want?... Is that the way
you want to live your life?" With that, Brooke stormed out.
Donna noticed that Thorne was watching her kissing Eric and pulled away. Not
surprisingly, Thorne was appalled by their behavior and pointed out that,
while sex with Donna is great, she's a fraud. "How in the hell could you do
this to mother?" Thorne raged at his father, but Eric said that his marriage
can't be fixed this time. Donna defended that her relationship with Eric
wasn't about revenge, then left the room so the guys could talk. Eric
explained he he's been dead inside thanks to his relationship with
Stephanie. Donna lurked outside the office to hear Thorne beg his dad to
give up his mistress. After Thorne left, it was obvious that the wheels in
Donna's head were turning.
Ashley asked Ridge if it was true what Brooke said about Stephanie and Andy.
Ridge confirmed it and Ashley said that he no longer had to feel responsible
for what happened to Brooke. Ash also recounted what Brooke said about her
connection to Ridge and that he is obviously sending his ex mixed signals.
Ridge agreed with his fiance that Brooke needed to help herself. Brooke
returned and announced it was time that she and Ridge get to her counseling
session. "I think it's better if you do this by yourself," he suggested.
Brooke reluctantly agreed and shot a nasty look at Ashley. Later, Ridge was
distracted and he told Ashley that he needed to be up front with Brooke
about certain "issues." He showed up at Brooke's home and announced that
they needed to talk.
Wednesday
Ridge acknowledged that there was a lot more going on between him and Brooke
than just support. "We need some boundaries here," Ridge suggested and
agreed that he was sending mixed signals. When Ridge stressed that he was
going to marry Ashley, Brooke seemed unfazed, then handed him a photo album,
full of pictures of them through the years. That's right, time for a montage
of happy memories (wow, we forgot all about them mud wrestling together).
Ridge got choked up and suddenly closed the album. "I'll look at these
later," he replied, then quickly left.
Katie congratulated Thorne for his family getting Forrester Creations back,
but observed his cranky mood. Thorne revealed that her sister was involved
with his dad. "That is disgusting!" declared Katie and assumed it was all
about revenge. Thorne agreed with her and as they talked about their
families, they suddenly shared a close moment. Katie left and a surprised
Thorne seemed affected by her.
Eric expressed his concern to Ashley about her working with Brooke, but Ash
assured she would be okay. She then had her own question. "Ridge and I are
going to get married, can you deal with that?" posed Ms. Abbott. Eric
chuckled and said he could. Ashley let Eric know that she knew about
Stephanie's role in Brooke's rape and left. Donna showed up and wondered
where she figured in Eric's life once Stephanie returns. "I don't know what
I'm really going to do until I see Stephanie," he explained, then asked if
Donna was just using him. She assured that she cared for him deeply but
nervously noted, "I went in this with my eyes wide open." Eric took her in
his arms and professed, "I want to be as good for you as you are for me."
By the time Ridge came home, Ashley was asleep in bed. He left the album on
the dresser, then smooched Ashley. She awoke and asked how it went with
Brooke. "Let's talk in the morning," he whispered but seemed distracted as
he laid down.
Thursday
Brooke told Donna that even though Ridge is engaged to someone else that she
still hoped they will find their way back to each other. Brooke headed out
for Taylor's baby shower and Donna said she would be along as soon as she
found out why Katie wanted to see her.
Ashley came across the photo album of Brooke and Ridge. "What's this?" she
asked Ridge, who said it was Brooke's way of saying good-bye. A perturbed
Ashley said it was inappropriate for Ridge to accept such a meaningful gift.
Though he agreed, Ashley warned she wasn't going to go through with the
wedding
if Ridge was still connected to Brooke. "I want this marriage to be my
last," Ash declared and said that when she leaves for Paris on a business
trip after the baby shower, she encouraged Ridge to decide who he really
wants. He assured that Ashley was the one.
Donna immediately noticed that Katie was upset. "What you're doing is
disgusting," Katie sneered, then lashed out at Donna for carrying on with
Eric. Donna accused Katie of having a crush on Thorne, then defended her
relationship with Eric. Katie said her sister was delusional if she really
thought Eric was ever going to marry her. "Stop being so holier than thou,"
Donna hissed and took off for the baby shower.
Nick escorted Taylor to the Forrester mansion for her baby shower. While
Taylor was bowled over by the party Felicia had set up (Jackie and Phoebe
were
present, too), Nick cornered Bridget and asked if a maternity test could be
run without Taylor's knowledge. Bridget said no, so Nick declared that
Taylor
is the mother of his child. Nick left and Bridget rushed into the house to
join the party, soon followed by Ashley, who wasn't happy when Felicia
mentioned that Brooke was coming.
Ridge emerged to find Brooke in his bedroom. After pulling on some clothes,
he insisted that he was committed to Ashley. "For everyone's sake here, let
me go," he urged. Brooke agreed to back off, but Ridge couldn't control
himself and started passionately kissing her... as he pushed her back on the
bed.
Friday
Ridge stopped mauling Brooke, completely surprised by his actions. He
immediately regretted kissing Brooke — she pointed out that his feelings
for her were obviously still deep. "Do you really care as much about Ashley
as you do about me?" Brooke asked, then suggested her ex mull that one over
while she was at Taylor's baby shower. After Brooke scooted out, Ridge
headed over to Forrester Creations, where Rick taunted that Ridge's
relationship with Ashley was bound to "blow up in your face" since Brooke
was still in the picture. The guys continued to trade barbs and Ridge
finally noted, "You want Ashley for yourself, don't you?" Rick declared that
he was convinced that Ashley would come back to him.
Nick welcomed a visiting Thomas into his home. Young Forrester teasingly
asked if his step father was sure he wanted to spring a surprise visit on a
pregnant Taylor. Nick was touched when Thomas affirmed that he was
completely supportive of his mom's marriage.
Jackie was peeved when she observed Donna walking into the Forrester house.
"This is a baby shower, Donna," Jackie growled. "Nobody hired a stripper."
As the party rolled on, Jackie continually glared at Donna. Brooke arrived
and the only seat open was next to Ashley. The women seemed uncomfortable as
they sat together and Ashley couldn't help but make a jab under breath about
the photo album Brooke gave Ridge. "I got the feeling he liked it," cooed a
smug Brooke. The bitchiness continued when Jackie warned Donna not to "count
your chickens where Stephanie is concerned." Ashley had to catch her plane
to Paris, bid Taylor farewell and left. Brooke announced to everyone how
happy she was for the Marones, and Taylor thanked everyone for their love and
support. Nick and Thomas showed up and Taylor was thrilled to see her son.
Thomas then made a moving toast to the expectant parents. Oops. Maybe too
moving. Taylor's water broke and she doubled over in pain. "The baby is
coming!" she exclaimed. "It's too early!"
