As previously reported, Billy Miller will be vacating the role of Billy Abbott this August. Since the popular character is featured prominently in Genoa City and needs to stick around, here's our list of proven daytime hunks (past and present) who would make a worthy Billy Boy.

Please no more JT (his time has come and gone), but work hard on keeping Billy Miller. Let's trade up with the guys that plays Adam, Cane and Collin for Billy Miller.
Billy Miller needs to stay as a rival to Victor. As far as he as Victoria go, well JT needs to come back.
Please try and keep Billy or bring back Jeffery Todd or get something going with Daniel. No new recasts. The Malcolm you have is awfull. Its just not his cup of tea, sorry man it's the truth.
Please keep Billy Miller he one of the shows best actors.You have to keep him. Like another poster said we have some very bad recast like Malcolm and Heather.
At first, I did not care for the character as his relationship grew with Victoria my interests increased and now, look forward to their daily life, their love for each other, their parenting - there is no other for Victoria....or bring JT back...no new character please!
Josh Holloway (Sawyer on Lost series) would be the ONLY man who could possibly replace Billy!!
I know Josh lived in Hawaii and got married & traveled the world after the Lost series ended - BUT, perhaps he's moved back to the mainland?! In any case he would be PERFECT for the role! He is the best 'bad boy' I've ever seen in any series & is one sexy, HOT man. He & Victoria would be so good together!! Of course we can't bring back Thad - he IS J.T. if he ever returns (which is unlikely as he is more & more a big part of the Nikita show w/the ex-Colleen! He would be the last to replace Billy, because he's so good-natured & easy going....not the dramatic, hot guy Billy Miller is!! I read that a contract renewal had been agreed to between CBS Y&R and Billy Miller....what's up with that??!!
Still hoping Billy Miller stays - but if not, try to lure JOSH HOLLOWAY!!! That would be one of the smartest hires you've ever made!!
I agree about Malcom....sorry, I'm not being mean-spirited, but he CANNOT act!!! Sophia has 'grown on me' but the new Malcom was the WORST replacement EVER on Y&R!!! I normally 'fast forward' my TiVo when he's even on the screen. He just doesn't fit!!
PLEASE KEEP BILLY MILLER IF YOU CAN!!! IF NOT...TRY TO HIRE A RUGGEDLY HANDSOME, BAD-BOY - JOSH HOLLOWAY...OR SOMEONE COMPARABLE TO HIM...WHICH IMHO DOESN'T EXIST!! I hope if Billy Miller IS leaving....he's going on to the BIG SCREEN! I LOVE him!!!
I really can't think of anyone who can replace Billy Miller. He made me fall in love with Billy. A character I could care less about before he took over the role. Billy reminds me so much of both Jacks combined ( Peter Bergman and Terry Lester.) Billy Miller has an undeniable charm to him that would be tough for just anyone else to replace. I sure hope he changes his mind and stays.
However if he leaves and TPTB do recast this role..there are so many talented, unemployed actors out there to pick from right now.

I love Billy Miller on Y&R. He is HOT and Real at the same time.I loved seeing him on Justified even if he was a prevert.
Just shows how much talent and charisma he has on camara. Even standing next to Timothy Olyphant (who I love and followed from Deadwood) I could not keep my eyes off of Billy Miller.
He is probably leaving for bigger things and I will watch whatever he does!
He cannot be replaced by a a guy who looks like or has the same mannerisms!
Go with Tom Pelphery, an actor with depth and his own charisma. I would love to see how he plays with Victor, Jack and Abby! Face it ladies, Billy and Victoria are over any way...Would love it if JT came back without what's her name!!
Please give Billy Miller anything he wants and get him to stay on Y&R. We need our daily fix of Billy each day. Malcolm, Sofie, and Heather should leave. They should take sleezy Diane with them. All she does is whore around with as many men as she can. Sharon should also stay away and stay on the farm. We can get along nicely without her and her whinning ways. Phylis needs to shut her mouth and let Daniel take care of his own business. Kane should stay dead and let Lilly start her life over. If Billy Miller has to go, he should be replaced by Kyle Lowder or Josh Duhon.
Marie viator....I agree with you 100% about Billy Miller leaving the show. I also forgot to mention that the MALCOLM replacement was one of the worst ever as well. Where is my SHEMAR??? I know he is on Criminal Minds and is in negotions to renew his contract, and I doubt he would EVER return to Y&R...BUT there has got to be someone who has more chemistry with everyone in the Winters family...he has none...He is trying way too hard to be Shemar, and that is impossible..but I feel they could have found someone else...The guy cannot act. As for VICTORIA and her hair...I agree there too. She may possibly be letting highlights grow out, but surely the hair stylists on the show could certainly help her...Most of the time she looks as if she just rolled out of bed and came to work...She has GORGEOUS hair, and at times it has looked beautiful...Perhaps the writers want her to look this way due to the stress of perhaps losing her daughter, Lucy. The Adam replacement was so good. He is playing the part so well. I also remember when "Jack" was replaced with Peter Bergman, and I doubted I would get used to that; however, PETER IS JACK IN EVERY WAY...No one could EVER replace him...Just my opinions.
I totally agree with you...I would hate to see Billy Miller replaced...and like you said, Vail Bloom IS Heather...Eden is a great actress; however, she just does not fit the role of Heather. Do not understand the re-cast. Have also heard the rumor of GH being canceled in 2012..Am sure Miller wants to leave before then, but there are several very good actors on that show that may be good in his role...although to me, there is only ONE Billy and that is BILLY MILLER.
OH NO, No, No,!!! Pls keep Billy, give him whtever he wants but keep him. NO ONE can replace this funny, loving, down to earth man!!! I look so forward to his part ont the Y&R, sometimes if it is something that makes me laugh, I actually rewind it to watch it again.
If U need to replace anyone replace Heather and Malcom. What a bad choice when you brought them in. It took me a while when Adam came on BUT Now I think he is great and I hope he beats the NEWMANS in their own game

(HEATHER, MALCOLM, ADAM TO NAME A FEW) BILLY MILLER MAKES Y&R HE LIGHTS UP THE SCREEN. HIS DELIVERY OF HIS LINES, HIS QUICK WIT AND HIS GREAT LOOKS MAKE ME TUNE IN EVERYDAY. I LOOK FORWARD TO WHEN HE IS ON SCREEN. NO ONE SHOULD REPLACE HIM. NO ONE CAN. THERE IS NO ACTOR LIKE HIM HE WON THE EMMY FOR A REASON ! HE IS A GEM AND NEEDS TO STAY. I honestly can't say that I see anyone but Billy Miller playing Billy Abbott. His natural charm and wit come through so easily when he plays his part. I know others have played the character, but none have played him so well. I'll hate to see Billy Miller go, and I can say that I would hate to see anyone take his place.
I will certainly miss Billy Miller..He was perfect for that role and the chemistry he had with Amelia Heinle was amazing..Be hard to replace him; however, there are several names that come to mind. Kyle Lowder would be good. Also the original Billy,played by Heather Tom's brother--if he is tall enough and has a more mature look...OF COURSE, my first choice would be Thad Luckinbill - Heinle's real-life husband, but am sure that would be difficult as he is off-camera married to his "Reel wife". Would be nice if he came back since he and Victoria were once married and have a son, Reid, together. Someone mentioned "JR"--just do not think he and Heinle would be good together. I also like the mention of Billy Magnussen and Tom Pelphrey....but keep him from the dark side. Might consider sending Rick Hearst over from the B&B, since they are not using him to his wonderful talent. Also consider the young man, Greg Vaughn who played Lucky on GH until the original Lucky returned to the role. Lots of good actors from which to choose...IF Billy Miller MUST leave. I wish him the very best
I forgot to add that bringing any other actor into the role of Billy is going to make the fans feel the way most of us do when you recast Heather with Eden Riegel. Eden is a wonderful actress but is a lousy Heather. Vail Bloom IS Heather, and always will be to many of us.
Dear SOD, not even close! I don't begrudge any of these guys a job, but no one could replace Billy Miller in this role.
No one will ever fill the shoes of Billy Abbott like Billy Miller. Why enrage the fans with another replacement?

I like the guy from All My Children(JR).Really don't want Billy Miller to leave the role.But,he had to do what's best for him.
What about Brian Gaskill? He would be great as Billy.

What a great list you have to pick one. There are 6 who's work I am familiar with. I know Billy Magnussen as Casey from ATWT, Eric Sheffer Stevens who was so great playing Reid on ATWT, Tom Pelphrey who can play deep dark characters, Kyle Lowder who when given the material could play Rick on B&B so well, Mark Lawson on OLTL, but with all the talent above I think I might go with John Paul Lavoisier who plays Rex on OLTL. He seems to play a lot of the same mannerisms that Billy Miller plays with Billy & I could see this fit working.
