I know I'll probably get ripped apart here but for the first time in all of the years I have been watching DOL, I am actually not supportive of Hope. I've loved this couple since they met as kids and have always wanted them to stay together. But when Hope was so angry at Bo when Ciara was kidnapped, I was confused as to why. Then when she moved out, I was even more confused and was downright shocked when Hope moved in with Victor??!!?? And while she doesn't want to move home with her husband, she still wants to dictate what goes on in a home she doesn't live in anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy about Bo and Carly but I'm not happy about Bo having to put up with Hope's 'come here, go away, come here, go away, I don't want you but I don't want you with anyone else' attitude.

I think this whole storyline is badly written. Going back to the kidnapping, I realize that Hope was distraught over Ciara's kidnapping, but so was Bo. Hope had been a police officer and she should have understood Bo's handling of the situation. It wasn't easy for him to be objective and take a hard line, he loves Ciara as much as Hope does, but he was being realistic. His rationale was that it was almost certain that Ciara would have been killed after the ransom was paid. Hope didn't believe that, but give me a break. She knows Dean killed his two accomplices, and one of them was his girlfriend. What makes her think he would have spared Ciara? That was irrational thinking. Hope's leaving home was so against character that it bordered on ridiculous. When Bo told her that he loved her and wanted her home, she wouldn't take him at his word. Carly had a problem that he was not at liberty to share, but Hope would not accept that. Bo is just as bad. When their love has survived after all they've been through, it's just too hard to believe that he would so easily say it's over without making any effort to work it out. Nope, I think I'll just go kiss Carly and sleep with her. I guess that'll show her! What is this, middle school? Suddenly this rock solid couple become two "I'll get even with you" teenagers?? OK, I know that it would be too boring for them to never have problems, and there needs to be conflict to keep things interesting. But, it seems to be extreme for them to jump right into bed with others when their problems are not beyond solving. I hope this storyline doesn't drag out for very long, because it's just fast forward material for me.

Hope is not the smartest cookie in the bunch she gets kidnapped regularly. And last the last time she was knocked in the head she was a cop. I'm not a big fan of "weeping willow" character types. So for me the Carly thing is a much needed relief. But it was totally in character for Hope to act like that. She's "Fancy face."

and..........now we find out the Bo really does love Hope - still - and he expects that he'll be able to fix it all once Carly's secret is taken care of? Not to mention that they are both saying and doing things that I think even their love won't be able to fix. I'm disappointed with both of them. Bo turns to Carly and Hope jumps to Justin. So now it's back to musical beds. I still don't get why Hope was so crappy to Bo after they got Ciara back but my two cents (which is all it's worth) is that this is how this all started - Hope drove Bo away with her actions. Still, Bo didn't need to jump into bed with Carly, after all, I don't jump into bed with my friends when they help me. And Hope doesn't need to play footsie with Justin.

I am totally against Bo and Carly. Its Bo and Hope all the way. I know that Hope hasn't been too rational lately and really jumped the gun on moving out, but she has tried to come home several times, only to have Bo tell her no, because of ditzy Carly. I think that Crystal Chappell is a great actress, I just don't like her with Bo. And even though Hope moved out, it did not give Bo the right to break their vows. She did tell him she needed time and Ciara needed to be out of the house after what happened there. So for me, I blame Bo a little more than Hope. But I am the biggest Bo/Hope fan, so IMO, they need to find their way back to each ASAP!

I've changed my original stand against Hope and am back to supporting Bo and Hope. I was upset with Hope because her actions and treatment of Bo was hypocritical and then when she moved out I jumped ship. I'm still not happy about how she acted but I don't care for her heading into a relationship with Justin and Carly is beginning to irk me. Besides Bo and Hope have overcome so much over the years and Bo is being "a tad" unreasonable.

Well, I am sorry. I like Bo and Carly together. But here is what I am wondering about, when did Carly become the town pariah? Everyone knew and loved her when she last on. Now, almost everyone hates her. I don't get it. The only person, I knew who didn't like her besides Vivian was Victor for obvious reasons.

Days of our Lives is currently the third longest-running soap opera in the United States. Among episodic programs worldwide, it stands fourth in total episode count, and has the most surviving episodes, with its entire broadcast run intact on either kinescope or videotape. (Although the British soap Coronation Street has aired since 1960 and is also intact, it has aired more than 4,000 fewer episodes than Days.)------------------Post by mcse
