While AMC is very boring I am sad that it is canceled, but I do see why it is. Last night I tried to watch again, but was bored. I love seeing Tad and I like Amanda and Jake but the Erica's drama was dumb and expected. I hope all the actors find work.  I also I hope that the actors understand the fans blame the writers and not them. I hope they give us a great ending.

I guess enough people agreed with the OP, since the show has now been cancelled.  I'm very sad about that.  I wonder why they even bothered moving it to LA in the first place?  This is all a shame and will NOT be watching the shows that take this and OLTL's time slots.  Wow.

We are very pissed off  me and my mom watch  all my children and one life to live all the time they are our favorites shows i will not watch that channel again ever till they bring the two shows back and take off  general hospital which sucks big time 

It really is amazing that Snooki and others from the Jersey Shore will get paid  a million dollars to act like  trollops and pigs  but talented legitimate actors, and script writers and crews will be unemployed. Is another reality show necessary? I won't be watching anything on ABC daytime anymore.I don't care if Mario Batali is on it, I can look up any recipe I want on Google or the food network site. We don't need another cooking show.Does Frons think all the audience are nitwits that we need these shows? As for another lifestyle and health show, I am not going to watch pseudo intellects and self appoiunted experts spew forth on what they think I should be doing to be healthy. I know what needs to be done. So does everyone else.

How does that awful man Frons sleep at night? I hope all this comes back to bite him in the a$$. Wait until he's replaced with a younger, newer model.

I've loved/watched soaps and have been obsessed with the art form since 1982....cut many classes before I got my own VCR back in the day! It was a dream come true to intern at SOW in NYC after college in 2001, however, cancellation by ABC and CBS ATW/GL was overdue. Surprised it was not GH this time, but if they are coming in under budget and ratings are good...so be it, honestly we do not need more talk shows, and one or two soaps per network is really more than enough these days. Soaps cost too much to produce, stories and production are not challenging or innovative and writers have bee writing down to audience. Where is the new blood? You can't tell me that of the millions of fans, there are not writers capable of infusing new ideas, honoring history, and writing story! 

I have a heavy heart and feel like I am losing a family member. Not matter what was going on in life, certain soaps were always there. You could turn on (insert favoriate) and feel safe and warm...like home.

DAYS, Y&R, B&B, GH have a great opportunity now. Honor your history. Cut some of the very large cast. Write for character's on your canvas. Infuse new blood (writers) with senior staff! No need to jet off to Europe or far a way places. GH stop with the mob. Y&R pair down the cast. B&B Sheila Carter? DAYS more Horton's.    

My mother's generation (baby boomers) and my generation should be the target demo. These are the people now home and retiring who made the soap industy boom...they will tune in. I will tune in. My young 16 & 18 niece's and their friends do not watch daytime soaps - they think they are dumb. 

AMC/OLTL go out with rich stories. Bring back as many old characters/actors as you can. Now it not the time to save money ABC, cancellation is saving millions...throw us a bone! Put the focus on history, ATWT & GL wasted their final months. I want to turnin or DVR everyday, cry and mourn. These friends (Soaps) will be greatly missed.

I am excited about the future of the reamaining 4 soaps. Networks, producers, and writers should read blogs, reach out to fans who have an interest in writing...and focus on what each soap does well. Each show has an indentity and voice.

Horse vs. Car. Radio vs. TV. Landline vs. Cell....change is difficult and can be painful. Life goes on. And the world keeps turing.  

I also feel like I am losing members of my family. As this is something that can be prevented, it just makes me angry that the cast and crew were so blatantly lied to and the fans totally disregarded. This is just really shi##y business practice and if they think that soap fans don't have any pull, they are just wrong. Protests and boycotts CAN work.

But Frons said everyone wants shows like  Snookie (barf) and not our Soaps...what bs. I'm sick of hearing about Polls I didn't get a chance to vote in or heard of.  

Too much fist pumping and smoking crack.  I'm sick about these "polls".  Who are they asking?  Not me.  No offense to the new shows, but I hope they FAIL!!!  Kudos to Hoover for pulling their ads.  "Nobody, does it like youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" 

I cant believe they are putting on  a heath show  and cooking show. YUCK!!!!  If I wanted to watch that there are several channels I can go to anytime of the day and see them. I have been watching ABC soaps for 32 years. I will really miss them!I guess I will have to start watching the soaps on the other channels because I wont be watching the crap there putting on ABC. I will however return to the ABC at 3:00 when GH comes on.

I REMEMBER ON AMC WHEN ERICA WAS TEENAGER-MY KIDS WERE IN THE CRIB AND ON THE FLOOR.AS THE CHILDREN ON AMC AND OLTL GREW UP SO DID MINE.MONEY MIGHT BE TIGHT PUT I COULD SIT DOWN WITH MY CHILDREN AND HAVE PB&J ON TOAST,WATCH MY TV FAMILY!
NEW GENERATIONS CAME UP ON AMC & OLTL MY CHILDREN WENT TO SCHOOL.EMPTY QUITE HOUSE EXCEPT FOR MY BELOVED TV FAMILY.CHILDREN LEFT.OH SO QUITE BUT TAD HAD DIXIE AND ERICA'S MOTHER DIED,WEPT LIKE A BABY.
MY ALWAYS THERE ADOPTEDED MOTHER PASSED AWAY BUT I HAD THE MARTIN BROTHERS,AND THEIR PARENTS!MY MOTHER IN LAW DIED I HAD AMC HELPING ME THRU EMPTY NEXT AND GRANDCHILDREN. LAST STRAW MY REAL MOTHER DIED AND I WAS SO ALONE BUT KNOW EVERWEEKDAY I HAD MYAMC FAMILY HOLDING ME SAVE IN THEIR TV HANDS.
I NEED MY AMC AND OLTL FAMILY!!!LOOK AT THE WORLD PROBLEMS I NEED MY AMC FAMILY MORE THAN EVER!  

I just want my Erica and Jack together and happy for the next 4 months. We deserve that much.,
