Are we talking May sweeps?

I'd like to see Ryan's memory return. It's kind of sad really, I mean there are several ways they could have written this story and it could have been good. Instead it's the same old stuff that fans have always hated.

I love seeing Ryan pine for Kendall . Hearing him ask " How could I have given YOU up for Greenlee ?" healed a lot of wounds from 4 years ago for a lot of people ! I

Hopefully Ryan gets his memory back soon. He is even more unlikable

I'm over this story. It doesn't make any sense. What's the point? Who is he supposed to end up with in 2008, Annie or Greenlee?

Well, if nothing else, for Rendall fans, the amnesia storyline is an opportunity for some to revisit, or see for the first time, some really good Ryan and Kendall flashbacks. brtedi

Ryan is boring and this storyline is boring. Wash, rinse, and spin.

Each to their own . I`m glad Cam has played him for 10 yrs and is still regular front burner character .Remember Kendall took years to get over Ryan and he has been allowed 2 months so far . His mind missed all the Rendall break up so no wonder he is takng time to adjust .I am enjoying seeing him pine for a married unattainable Kendall . It is good karmic pay back - Rendall style .His scheme to fool Annie had failure written all over it . I think it only lasted i day comically enough but he was trying for her sake imo . He is trying to move on .

Yeah he's a charmer..lying about remembering Annie and bedding her on the same night. That was a real comic moment for me too.. ]

But yes, I am sure he did it for her. Moving on while toying with his wife's feelings.

Moving on to get HIS memories back..forget about the new memories he is creating for HIS wife..as long as he feels better that's all that counts, right?

And then to poo poo Greenlee's "slip of the tongue" like it was nothing...ugh.

I`m talking about his ill fated scheme to memorize details from the photo album .Ryannie went out to confusion , he apologized to everybody then when they were having a glass of wine , they got called into Confusion for the " Harm" problem .Cue Greenlee`s " slip " and no more Ryannie .I think it was funny that he got busted so quickly after trying so hard to memorize the facts .

I am speaking of the night that he and Annie had sex and then he led her to believe the memories he was having of Kendall were memories about her.And then he promptly left for LA to go see Kendall, allowing Annie to believe he started to remember.A real prince.

Obviously we have a difference sense of humor here. I couldn'tt care less about Ryannie..but I see nothing humorous about his plan backfiring so quickly and Annie getting her life devastated once again. I see not once shred of "funny" in this at all.

LOL yep it was so comical that it made Ryan all that more hated. I LOVE what SOW said about this storyline. Ryan is not looking too good in this storyline, and Cam even seems to think so *snort*

Ryan has never paid for his actions during the IAMTHATMONSTER sl. Despite the fact that the actor liked it, the whole thing was a terrible bust for fans and he's never recovered. I really think that's what this is all about-having Ryan face the monster he was to become the man he could be. And then he can give thePea that baby she wants so bad.

They really don't have to go into that again and it doesn't make any sense with his Jonathan MIA and his sister dead anyway.It's a dead sl...like the "The Cambias Curse".

Why is it a dead storyline? People keep bringing up Zach and the blackout and how it impacted so many lives. Ryans anger affected so many characters and if he was NOT so angry, most of today's storylines would never have played out. If Ryan was not so angry, he would not have left town, Greenlee would not have been devasted, Kendall would not have helped her by offering to have her baby, Zach would not have caused the blackout, etc.... I think it's totally relevant to everything that is going on now.

I am not BLAMING Ryan for everything mind you. If Greenlee had not lied about trying to get pregnant behind Ryan's back, Ryan would not have been so angry to begin with...etc.

But to say it is a dead issue..when it has not been addressed is IMO incorrect.

What drove the "monster" sl was Ryan's discovery of Jonathan and Erin. Learning what his brother had become and memories of how his father treated him and later how he treated his brother is what made Ryan think that he would be doomed to continue the circle of violence.

The "Monster" sl ended when Ryan discovered that he does not have to be like his father because Jonathan's violence was not genetic or environmental but due to a tumor.

The Cambias Curse died when Zach realized it was a lame excuse to keep everyone at an arms length and he had been acting like a dork.

Personally, I don't want to have to sit through another sl where the writers dedicate even more time delving into Ryan's psyche while he addresses why he became a "monster". To each his own I suppose.

I would prefer that it end the way the Cambias Curse did with Zach simply admitting to acting like cowardly dumbass and deciding to start acting like a man. *poof* no more curse.

I guess we are interpreting what we see differently. I saw the Cambius curse being discussed over and over for years....while Ryan's anger was dismissed with a one comment.

Once Ryan learned that his brother had a tumor, he realized there didn't have to be the same family legacy. This has nothing to do with Ryan personally but people don't get over major issues and severe anger issues so easily..if they did, they would not be in therapy for years trying to work things out. Intellectually knowing something is true is different than believing it in your heart and being able to accept it is not easy.

In think in gereral, for me personally, it's a lot more interesting to watch storylines about how the characters feel and what makes them act the way they do...then to just have them float around in some plot driven nonsense..and that to me is for ALL the characters, Zach and Ryan included.

I find it surprising how many people want to see Ryan in another sl dedicated to his mental health but considering the outcry of people that still think enough has not been done to explain why Ryan did what he did and how he got to where he was I'm sure that the PTB will in turn spend countless hours digging into Ryan's story and shining up their golden boy.

LOL that's why I would like the PTB to just give Ryan back his memory and reunite him with Annie and Emma. I've never been a lover or hater of Ryan but he's always been interesting to me. And talk about a gorgeous man! Ooo la la! All My Children is blessed with gorgeous men like Ryan, Aiden, JR, even Tad!

I've always found Ryan interesting but I didn't like him when he was with Greenlee and they were so mean to Kendall. I'm so glad that they are all friends again. I wonder how Ryan is going to handle the news of the ONS. I wonder if he's going to be even more jealous than Zach.AMC does have a bunch of hotties. I have to admit *blush* I think Adam is pretty hot too. There is just something about a bad boy so I would add Ritchie to that group. Is Josh still on contract? He's also YUMMY!

This is one of the stupidest stories AMC, and the Bears in particular, have ever written and they wrote pretty stupid stuff on PC before they killed it for good. Sadly, these idiot writers don't do any research either into a medical procedure or or anything else; they just write crap to throw it out there. The bone marrow transplant sl is another stupid storyline.For me, they just wrote this crap to give Cam a storyline. Too bad it didn't involve remembering Greenlee, his little greenpea; then it would be a lot easier to FF scenes.

I think he will be getting some of his memories back soon. Hopefully that is a sign of an ending to this dumb story in the near future.
