As much as I like the actor, Richie has been a huge mistake from the beginning. He is passed redemption at this point. His storyline is beyond ridiculous, and they have made him to evil. Babe is the only one stupid enough to think he has a good side. I think they need to cut this storyline out very soon.

I like the actor. I think he's one of the better new actors they've brought on the show. I just don't know where they want to go with him. Redeem him? Make him totally evil? What?

I'm not fond of the actor at all- but regardless, I think Richie went too far a long time ago. He needs to be exposed for what he did- to Zach, to JR. I personally feel they've written him into a corner, but I'm sure they'll think of something. I don't think he's redeemable, nor do I think there's anything likeable about the character. Maybe write Richie out, and bring the actor back as another character and pair him with Annie.

I Flove Ritchie for running Zach down and pushing him out the car door. I'm a little disappointed in him for failing to kill Zach and for framing JR but it was still a fun scene to watch.

For me the question is not whether or not Ritchie CAN be redeemed, I wonder if he SHOULD be redeemed. He's such a good bad boy.

I think it depends on how they do it. If they really address his crimes and have him face them and pay the consequences for them, then yes, he can be redeemed. I hate it when people commit a crim and TPTB choose to "redeem" the character by glossing over the crime and trying to make people forget it ever happend.

Given that there's a baby maiming, baby stealing beyotch(Greenlee), a murderer/torturer(Tad), another baby stealer(Babe) and whatnot running around this town, I don't see why Richie couldn't be redeemd

Can he be redeemed? If tiic learn from their mistakes and make him pay for his crimes instead of whitewashing them like they did with the Greenmonster who maimed and kidnapped babies, then pole dances her way through life, maybe he can be. But he must pay for them. Then have Annie pay for the perjury she committed to put her brother away. I say a nice cozy cell with cell inmates Greenmonster and boring Annie would be must see TV.

Billy Miller is a talented young actor, but I don't see how his character Richie can be realistically redeemed at this point. Richie is a textbook sociopath...there's no way to "fix" someone like that. They can't "cut the bad out" a la Jonathan Lavery's brain tumor...that's not the way sociopaths are wired. No, unfortunately I don't see redemption as a believable possibility here.

Or should he be redeemed? I liked Richie especially when he got the better of Ryan. What he did to Zach and then to JR are things that I don't think he should get a pass on. But I also think that Greenlee should be accountable for what she did to Spike, Ian, Kendall and Zach - but we don't see that happening do we? TIIC whitewashed her actions and I hate her for it. If they did the same thing to Richie - I would probably hate him too. But if they had him pay for his crimes then it would go a long way in redeeming him. BM is a very talented actor and I would have liked to see him in a better story. Because of how he was written, I currently have no interest in Richie.

I believe ANY character can be redeemed as long as they take responsibility for their actions and pay for what they did in some way
