Rachel Melvin has always been a favorite of mine on "Days". From the moment she entered Salem I knew she was a keeper. She made many people truly dislike Chelsea for all of her plotting, immaturity, silliness. I tried to dislike this character, but I just couldn't. She was fun to watch. I wasn't sure if Chelsea would go in the direction of Sami and thought I would just have to wait and see.Over time on the show, Chelsea has matured and is moving now into new chapters of her life. Rachel Melvin has made Chelsea's transition believable. I root for her now every step of the way. I am pleased to see that Chelsea has become more of a Hope figure than a Sami one. With the introduction of Daniel to the show, I really believed Bo and Hope might be passing the torch and the new love story would be Daniel and Chelsea. I suppose time will tell.With every scene that Rachel Melvin is in I know I am not going to be disappointed. When the scene is lighthearted, Rachel makes me giggle with her expressions. And when the scene calls for heartbreak, Rachel delivers that best of all. Crying along with her is so theapeutic for me! I see now why Rachel Melvin was nominated for an Emmy. It will certainly not be her last!

Wow, what can one say about this wonderful actress. She is Emmy nominated, that alone will tell you just how great she is. I have loved her work since the first time she showed up in Salem. I loved her wickedness. She has always played what ever story line they put before her excellently.This past week she really knocked it out of the park. She was great with her portrayal of finding out that her grandma Kate had slept with her boyfriend Daniel. She was awesome, her hurt was obvious, and so was her love for this man. It was sad and touching, the scene she had with little Theo. O Rachel Melvin as Chelsea Brady is the main reason I watch Days Of Our Lives. Her pairing with Shawn Christian makes it even better. I just want to give her a round of applause. She is great!!

Rachel is such a great actress!! It's no wonder she got an Emmy nod this year!! She has done wonders with her character and I think has really gotten a fan base over the past few months! I could not imagine Days without her!! She really has become one of my favorite characters! I especially love her with Daniel!! They have amazing chemistry!

Rachel Melvin is an awesome actress! Her scenes are very believable and her talent is very obvious. I am confient that she can handle any scene that comes her way and I am looking forward to many scenes coming her way now and in the future. Her acting has been remarkable after the reveal of the fling she handled herself very well. Hoping to see her get to continue in the Daniel and Chelsea storyline! Those two together are just off the charts in chemistry and working well together. They are must see television at it's finest. I am happy to say that I am a Rachel Melvin fan!!

Rachel Melvin is an outstanding actress. She has really impressed me with her talent. I tend to be picky with how I view acting but my god Rachel has a natural talent that I have never seen before. Rachel was nominated for the Emmys and she really deserved to win. I hope that they keep Rachel Melvin on Days of Our Lives as she is just awesome at portraying Chelsea. She brings an honesty and depth to Chelsea that is just really amazing to see. And then Rachel and Shawn Christian put together as Chelsea and Daniel, Rachel has really shown how much her character has matured and has grown up with Daniel. There is no question how much Chelsea has changed since last March and Rachel has done the transition beautifully and very natural to watch. I hope they do keep Rachel Melvin playing Chelsea. Rachel is amazing.

Totally agree!!!Huge Rachel Melvin fan - one of the most talented actresses on Daytime. She deserves a storyline and had it with Chelsea and Daniel. We're praying that the writers see what a huge mistake they made and get these two back together ASAP. Come on Days, we're waiting!!!

I have to admit that I have been slow to warm up to Rachel Melvin. I didn't care for her throughout her Max stage. She improved more with her sorority sisters. However, ever since she has been "paired" with Shawn Christian I feel she has come leaps and bounds. Not only has the character of Chelsea done a lot of maturing through the illness of her father and being with Daniel, but Rachel Melvin has grown so much as an actress. Her scenes the past couple of weeks I agree were stellar. She dug deep and gave such a realistic portrayal. The fact that she broke down with Theo was so gut wrenching. To watch that little boy sense she was hurt and want to make it feel better was so touching. I am hoping that they will save Daniel and Chelsea because both the characters and the actors who portray them bring out the best in each other. Rachel Melvin deserves this storyline, she has truly dedicated herself to it and should be able to continue to explore it and her craft.

I don't think there are enough words to describe Rachel Melvin. I have loved her since her very first appearance on DOOL. Her acting is so unique and very real. I remember thinking she reminded me of my own daughter. She portrayed the angry teenager very well. Over the years Rachel/Chelsea has grown into a beautiful, mature young woman and her acting just keeps getting better everyday. The show really needs to utilize her talents a little more. Her current storyline with Shawn Christian/Daniel Jonas is awesome and needs to be explored to it fullest. I loved how Chelsea didn't let her emotions get the best of her while confronting Daniel and Kate about their fling. Their conversations afterward at the pub were awesome, yet again Chelsea held her own.Rachel Melvin is an actress I can watch for days, she is that amazing in portraying her character.

I agree with everyone else in this thread. Rachel Melvin does an outstanding job with her portrayal of Chelsea Brady. She was amazing these last two weeks. She made me feel the everything Chelsea went through. The hurt, the dissapointement.....I hope the show knows what a great talent they have in Rachel Melvin.

I so agree with you Hopper....I didnt like chelsea very much for a long time but this year she has really matured and i have come around!.Rachel has done a wonderful job! Especially with the break up scenes.

I just hope TPTB got their senses back and are fixing those disgusting storylines pronto. Days had bad years before but 2008 was THE worst so far!

I have watched Rachel since the beginning, she is such a wonderful actress to watch. I have watched her mature so much during the past year and to watch her chemistry with Shawn Christian is such a blessing. The two really are great together.Rachel is a very beautiful and talented woman, I wished the show would utilize her just a little bit more and put her back with Shawn, they are such an enjoyment to watch.

I hate that they are putting Chelsea back with the scooby gang and have her playing the 3rd wheel. Rachel deserves better than that. Give her back her story!!!

I love Rachel, she is such a great actress. I am going to the Days event next month, and I'm so excited to meet her. She seems to be a genuinly nice person.

I saw a clip of today's scenes and as usual Rachel rocks the scenes with grandma. She is brilliant and had me in tears. She is an amazing actress.
