LOL! Yeah. I wondered about that too. But, I figured she thought he'd do anything if the price was right. But, Jerry has a soft spot for the relationship between Michael & Morgan. It reminds him of when he & Jax were kids. He's not going to do anything that hurts Michael.Something else related to this crash & their so-called forensics team. If that guy who was eating his lunch in the vacinity of evidence was thorough in his investigation of the car, it wouldn't stop at "Oh look. Paint the color of Claudia's car." He'd have taken samples of the paint to match it to dealer's cars. None of these characters drive older cars. They are all brand new. The CSIs in real life would check the paint to make sure it was on her make & model automobile. Also, they'd actually open the door of Alexis' vehicle & dust the steering wheel for prints. They'd never just take her word for it, especially after Michael's confession proved to be incorrect. They'd be worried about the press getting hold of it & talking about lazy police work. Once they dusted the vehicle for prints, they'd find Viola's & Kristinas. Even Mac, with his limited intelligence would figure out that Alexis isn't covering for Viola & I just can't see someone as by the book as he is, letting Alexis' confession stand once he realized the truth. The writers really goofed on this story & they should end it before they've completely wrecked what's left of Mac's credibility & Alexis' brain power & sanity.
