Whats with the animosity between Danny and Daniel? Daniel got over all the crazy criminal stuff Phyllis has done. So what has Danny done thats so unforgivable?

I think he is upset because Danny lied to Daniel for all of those years and said Phyllis left them or something like that.Daniel didn't know that Phyllis had lost custody after a big battle with Christine and Danny. Not to mention that Danny has not been back during any of Daniels ups and downs, such as the situation with Cassie, the money thing, his marriage etc. I do think it would be good to have Danny back for awhile.

Phyllis telling Danny he needs to make things right with Daniel! I feel like I woke up in BIZARRO world!! I must have missed something. can someone please tell me what went wrong with these two?
