A bedazzled Marlena walked into the study to find John setting a romantic table. She thought it was for her, but when he said it wasn't, she asked who he was dining with. He told her it was Nicole. "I didn't realize you were that well-acquainted," she remarked, then asked if it was a business date. "I believe I used the word 'hot,' " he replied. Marlena reminded him that they were still married and that the date with Nicole is inappropriate. "Jealousy becomes you," he grinned. "In fact, it's very, very sexy." She insisted she isn't jealous, but is upset. She wanted him to start acting like her husband. He said as long as she acted like his wife and slept with him.

Victor visited Chelsea, but she wasn't in her room because she was getting tests done. Nicole entered and railed at Victor because he was kicking her out of the house. She insisted she had every right to live there and said she was prepared to fight dirty and reveal his secret. He said she was bluffing. She told him he was making a big mistake and stormed off.

Chloe tracked down Philip at the Pub and informed him that Victor was throwing her out of the house.

Max and Stephanie continued their romantic dance at the Brady Pub. He let the customers back in and asked the bartender to cover for him. They went up to Max's room. He put on music, dimmed the lights and he and Steph began to kiss. They sat on the bed, where he assured her that they didn't have to do anything but talk if she didn't want to. She said that it felt right. "I want you, Max. I want us to be together," she told him. He was still unsure, so she told him to just kiss her. He complied. Things got really hot and heavy when Max backed off, saying that with Steve and Kayla gone, it wasn't the right time. "For the first time in my life, I know exactly what I want. And that's you, Stephanie Johnson. I want us. I mean, that's worth waiting for," he explained. She said she didn't know how much longer she could wait. They got dressed and went downstairs.

Abe and Roman took a table at the Pub to discuss Bo's disappearance, along with Steve, Hope and Kayla's. Abe feared their lives are in danger. "We have to find them now," he said. They met with Bo's informant and asked him to direct them to the Vitali compound.

At the Vitali compound, Kayla demanded to see Steve. She walked in to find Ava and Steve in bed together. Kayla freaked out, but Steve tried to calm her down. Ava told her to leave so she and Patch could continue their lovemaking. Steve and Ava got dressed. Steve was angry on Kayla's behalf. "What happened to you happened to Kayla, too. She lost the love of her life," Steve explained. Ava was peeved that Kayla ruined their night together.

In the hall, Bo got loose from the rope tie and beat up Vitali's thugs, knocking them out. He and Hope took their guns. Inside her room, Ava pulled out her gun. Bo came in. Steve knocked the gun out of Ava's hand and smacked her. He held the gun on her. Bo wanted to get out of there, but Steve was worried about Steph and the guy who was following her. They used one of the guards cellphones to call Steph and left a message. Steve threw the phone to Bo and told him to call the Salem PD and get some protection on Steph. Angelo came to and Bo swiped his walkie talkie. A guns-drawn Roman and Abe approached the house. Bo came out with Hope, Kayla, Steve and Ava. Abe cuffed Ava. Inside, Angelo made a call.

The doorbell rang at the DiMera mansion. It was Nicole. Before she came in the room, John assured Marlena that his dinner with Nicole was strictly business. Nicole came in and took off her fur coat to reveal a slinky dress. "You like?" she asked. "Oh, I like," he replied. Marlena glared in the background then left. Doc Evans ran into Rolf and insisted he reverse John's condition. He said he couldn't. Nicole noted that she was surprised to see Marlena there. John told her that he didn't want to talk about Marlena. She asked what he wanted to discuss. "You. Me. How good we could be together," he purred. He suggested they go to Napa, then Paris over the weekend. She said it sounded great as long as it didn't interrupt his schedule too much. "I know that you and Victor are engaged in a war of control of the docks," she said coyly. "Took you long enough," he replied, then informed her that he knew she was there to spy on him. Nicole denied it and accused him of being paranoid. He asked who sent her, Victor or Philip. She said neither and rushed off, but not before telling Marlena, "I'm sorry for your loss, Marlena. This man is nothing like the old John." Nicole suggested he get professional help. Marlena told her to do the same. They exchanged barbs and Nicole left. John commended Marlena on her spirited defense of him. He said that the evening was significant in that Marlena was beginning to accept him. She told him not to read too much into her reaction to his date. He told her that Victor and Philip made a big mistake trying to trick him.

Nicole found Chloe at the Pub and they shared a surprisingly nice moment. Nicole told her there was something she needed to know about Vic. "He knows where Brady is. He always has," Nicole announced. At the hospital, Philip confronted his father about kicking the women out. Victor wouldn't budge about Chloe and criticized Philip for taking Nicole and Chloe's side against the family.

Steph sat at the bar of the Pub. A man approached her and put a gun to her waist. "Make a sound and you're dead," he whispered.
