Monday

With Maggie's help, Nick prepared a surprise dinner for Chelsea at Chez Rouge. She got a call from the sorority house, but he told her not to answer it because they were having a special night. She was distracted, thinking about Ford, but then sat on Nick’s lap and they made out. He suggested they take dessert to go and left the table to have it boxed up.

At the sorority house, Cordy refused to leave her room, which alarmed Morgan, Stephanie and Carmen. Cordy admitted that she saw Ford’s face everywhere. The girls comforted her. Billie came by the house and told the girls she needed to talk to them about Ford. Morgan called Chelsea and told her it was an emergency and that she had to come back to the house. Nick returned to the table. Chelsea promised to make it up to him and ran out. Max came in and sat with Nick and offered some advice about his love life. Nick wasn’t too receptive to his chat and turned the tables on him, asking about Steph and Morgan. "Which one is it? Do you even know?" Nick queried. Max said he was working on it. Nick suggested they head to the sorority house. At first, Max didn’t want to join, but then went with him.

Chelsea returned to the house and told Billie that she was out getting dessert. She asked where the girls were, so Billie told her they were upstairs. Chelsea went to Cordy’s room. The panicky girls talked about what to do and got their stories straight. Steph revealed that she had someone wear Ford’s clothes out of the house so it would be on the security tapes. There was a knock on the door. It was Billie, who had been waiting for awhile. They all went downstairs to talk. Billie revealed that Ford was missing. They gave her a cover story. She told them to notify the security office if anybody sees Ford. Billie left. Steph went upstairs to check on Cordy, then came down and told the other girls that she wasn’t in her room. "I have a bad feeling about this," Steph said.

Sami confronted Lucas about the mystery package, demanding to know the truth about what was inside. He insisted it was a big check from an investment. She couldn’t understand why he was freaking out since the check could just be reissued. He eventually confessed that it was his gun. Sami asked who was sending it to him. Lucas replied that he sent it to himself because he didn’t want the police finding it after EJ was shot. Sami again asked if Lucas shot EJ. He claimed he never left the apartment that night. He then reiterated his need to find the gun before Bo got there.

Bo called EJ and asked about the Airmove package that was "delivered" to him. EJ said he had it in his apartment. Bo told him he was on his way to get it. In the meantime, Stefano came over to tell Elvis that Dr. Rolf cleared him to travel and he was leaving. He showed EJ the threatening mail he received from his enemy and explained that he planned to take care of the problem once and for all. Stefano admitted that this woman could destroy the DiMera empire. Stefano left. Lucas and Sami came over, demanding the package. EJ said he would hand it over as long as Sami let him take her and Johnny to Italy in the New Year. Lucas said no way. Sami said she’d think about it. They argued over the box. Bo arrived in the middle of it. Lucas left. Bo asked Sami if she knew what was in the box. An exasperated Sami told him it was a gun, but that Lucas bought it to protect the family and was home the night she got married. No, Bo corrected, Lucas hired a nurse that night.

Sami headed across the hall and confronted Lucas about lying about leaving the night she got married. Lucas still insisted he didn’t shoot EJ. Bo came and confiscated Lucas’s passport. Once alone, Sami begged Lucas to tell her everything. He claimed he went to the church, watched the ceremony and left. The babies began to cry. Sami went to check on them. Lucas made a call and told someone that Bo had the package and the passport and he didn’t know how much longer he could hold him off.

Tuesday

Steve and Kayla got romantic in their hotel suite with the intention of making a baby. They discussed the pros and cons of having another child and how Stephanie would react. “Yeah, but if you tell Stephanie that we're trying to get pregnant, she'll be imagining you and me...it'll gross her out,” pointed out Steve.

Sami tried to calm down Johnny, who was crying and wouldn't stop. Sami showed him the Christmas stockings, but he kept wailing. Marlena came by. She asked if it was colic, but Sami said Johnny was probably responding to her being upset. Marlena asked why. Sami told her about Lucas and the gun. She also revealed that she let EJ think she had feelings for him. Marlena warned her about stringing DiMeras along.

Max and Nick arrived at the sorority house. Max asked where Stephanie was. Carmen told him Steph was looking for Cordy. Nick asked where Chelsea was. Carmen went to get her. Max advised him to be cool. Chelsea came downstairs. Nick told her that their date wasn’t about the champagne or the strawberries, it was that he wanted to spend time with her. Chelsea asked Nick to come to her bedroom so they could talk privately. He revealed that she overheard her talking about Ford. She admitted that he was missing, then gave Nick the cover story the girls had concocted.

Morgan came downstairs in a short, satin robe and told Max she had a gift for him. It was an autographed photo from a fellow race car driver. Suddenly, Carmen screamed because there was no hot water in her shower. Nick said it was probably the hot water heater (where Ford’s body is buried), so everyone panicked. Chelsea asked Max to check it out. Nick protested, so Chelsea fibbed that his Christmas gift was in the basement so he couldn’t go down there. Max took off. Chelsea took Nick back to her room, apologized for ruining their romantic night and suggested they resume it ASAP. They had sex.

Max returned. Morgan told him that she planned for them to take a bubble bath together. She kissed him. He broke out of the kiss and let her down gently, explaining that they were over. He left and ran into Carmen outside, who told him that Steph found Cordy at Chez Rouge. Nick came downstairs looking for Max. Morgan told him Max left and then asked if Max wanted to get back with Steph. Before Nick could answer, Chelsea called him to come back upstairs. Nick reported that it looked like Morgan got dumped. “Hit-and-run Max strikes again,” Chelsea mused.

Steph tracked Cordy to Chez Rouge. The hostess told Steph she was in the ladies’ room. Steph found her in a stall and she was crying, clutching a bottle of pills. An alarmed Steph said they had to call 911, but Cordy said she didn’t take any. Cordy cried that she couldn’t stop thinking about Ford. Steph told her she understood. When Cordy challenged her, Steph admitted that she, too, had been raped by Ford. Cordy didn’t believe her. Steph insisted it was the truth and apologized for not coming forward sooner. She then told Cordy through tears, what happened the night Ford attacked her. “All the warnings on campus, the other girls, and now it’s me,” she sobbed. Cordy asked why she didn’t come forward. Steph admitted she was scared, which made her an imposter since she was a thrill-seeker. Cordy insisted Steph was strong and asked Steph to come to therapy with her. Steph said she wasn’t a therapy person. Cordy urged her to tell someone. “You saved my life tonight. Let me save yours,” Cordy said. “Right now I’m not sure who saved who, but I do feel a whole lot better,” Steph replied. Cordy made her promise to tell someone she trusted, just as Max walked in and overheard.

Wednesday

In Philip's office, Kate sipped wine and paced as they waited for Jen Chapman from the D.A.'s office. Jen arrived with news, the D.A. is willing to accept a plea deal — with a max sentence of 18 months. Unwilling to have his mother serve time, Philip turned the Assistant D.A. down. As a miffed Jen was about to sail out, Philip threatened to leak proof that Roman is trying to get Marlena off the hook. Ms. Chapman heard him out and discussed a lighter sentence, which still wasn't good enough for Philip; he sweetened the deal by offering Kate's services to bring down Stefano. "Would Miss Roberts be willing to wear a wire?" asked Chapman. Not so much; Kate did not like the idea at all, but Philip urged her to take the deal and avoid jail time. She finally gave in. Afterward, Kate remarked that Philip is truly his father's son and thanked him for his help.

Hope supported a teary Marlena as she boxed up some of the late John's belongings. Hope was stunned by Marlena's confession that she threatened Stefano, but stood by her. Marlena came across one of John's warm-up jackets and offered it to Hope for Bo. Marlena gasped when she found a bag of clothes John wore the night he died. Hope took the bag and pulled out an old envelope addressed to John. They found a picture of a boy and a woman, whose face could not be seen. On the back was a note: "This is a picture of you and me. Mama." They wondered if the boy was John, though Marlena didn't think the woman in the picture was Daphne DiMera. Doc Evans vowed to locate the woman and learn about her mysterious husband's past.

During a visit to Stefano, Alexandra Chavez impatiently waited for his host. When the Phoenix strolled in, Chavez reprimanded him for keeping a president waiting. After reminding the politico that the DiMeras have been good to his family, Stefano requested army muscle to deal with an old enemy. "I am a head of state, not your personal servant," scoffed Chavez. He came around when Stefano threatened to shut down the country's mines. Stefano ordered his highfalutin flunky to compile a dossier on the woman in question and then track her down. Afterward, Stefano asked Dr. Rolf to take him to the lab to see "the secret weapon." Stefano asked to be left alone with "the patient," who was covered by a sheet. He dramatically rolled his Rs while vowing that anyone who stands in his way will feel the full "wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrath of the DiMeras."

At Chez Rouge, Max was curious about Stephanie and Cordy's secretive conversation; Stephanie privately recalled confiding in Cordy about her rape, but she didn't share that with Max, who complained that she was keeping something from him. She didn't help by observing that Max is "another guy looking to get laid." She kept up the knocks, praising Nick as the real hero and lumping Max in with the likes of Jeremy Horton. Max patiently said that they can just be friends if that's what Stephanie wants. He also revealed that he'd broken up with Morgan. The duo started to share a soft kiss, but Stephanie abruptly pulled away and rushed out of the restaurant.

Thursday

Roman showed up at Marlena's to help her move John's boxed up belongings, which she was donating to the Midnight Mission. Roman got a call about the charges against Doc Evans, which have been reduced to a misdemeanor. "I don't know how to thank you," she wept. He informed her that Kate got the same deal, which prompted Marlena to wonder who really shot EJ. Afterward, Marlena showed Roman the photo that Hope found among John's things with the mystery woman identified as "Mama." She was convinced that the boy pictured was John. Pointing out the faceless woman's unusual necklace, she suggested that it might be a clue and charmed Roman into putting his detective skills to work.

At the Brady Pub, where Hope interrogated her daughter-in-law about her latest meeting with Philip. Belle insisted that they didn't hit the sheets again and only got together to talk about Claire. She then accused Hope of being against her and got all huffy. In the meantime,
Shawn dropped in on Philip at work to have it out over the planted gun. Philip observed that if Shawn opens his mouth, Belle will get in trouble for her involvement. Bo arrived, asking why Shawn wanted to meet him there. Shawn explained that Philip arranged for him to find the gun used in EJ's shooting and Bo immediately figured out that Belle was in on it. At the pub later, Shawn begged his dad not to tell Hope. A nervous Belle watched them talk and Hope took note of her antsy demeanor. The minute Bo and Hope had a moment alone, he totally told his wife exactly what happened. Back in the pub, Belle asked Shawn if Bo seemed "distant" with her, then flipped out when she fond out that Bo knows about the planted gun. When Shawn walked away, she called up Philip to yell at him. Her jaw dropped when Phil reported that Shawn's the one who blabbed.

Lucas met Kate for lunch at Chez Rouge, but was irked by her lighthearted attitude. She explained that the cops were only giving her a slap on the wrist for shooting EJ. Lucas announced that he's the shooter and floored his mom with the news that he's pleading guilty. She urrged him to leave the country. He refused and noted that he doesn't even have a passport anymore. She offered to get him a passport and help him escape to a cargo ship. Finally, Lucas said he'd go along with the plan if the bullet the cops found implicates him.

Sami found EJ writing Christmas cards, he was in full-on happy couple mode, which annoyed her. She accused him of faking his paralysis, but EJ retorted that Lucas is the one who shot him. Sami hotly defended her former husband and accused EJ of listening to her and Sami via the baby monitor. EJ insised that Lucas is guilty, but agreed not to press charges as long as Sami started fulfilling her wifely duties — pronto. She took a swing at him, but EJ grabbed her writst. Heavy breathing and struggling ensued. "I am never sleeping with you, ever again!" gasped Sami.

Friday

Chez Rouge, Maggie and Shawn went over the list for the surprise anniversary party he's throwing for Bo and Hope. Chloe walked in and sauntered over to him. He told her she had guts to talk to him after the stunt she pulled at the reunion. She said she thought he should know. "Your timing was lousy," he replied. She tried to defend what she did. They agreed to forget about it. She told him she had a date with Philip that night. "Are you sure you want to go that route? ... Friends don't let friends date Kiriakises," he pointed out. She said she cared about Philip and wanted to be close to him again. He warned her that Philip wasn't the same guy she used to know and that he was now ruthless and manipulative. She said she found him charming at the reunion. He asked why she and Brady split. She said they grew apart.

At the Pub, Philip walked in on Belle studying for a test. She told him to leave. He insisted he didn't betray her to the police. She told them they never should have gotten involved in the gun scheme and implored him to stop causing problems. He asked her why she told Shawn about the gun. She revealed that Chloe told him they'd been in a hotel room together and that she had to tell him something. Philip urged her to be honest with Shawn about their one-night stand. "Sooner or later, he's going to find out about us," he pointed out. "There is no us," she reminded him. She asked him to leave. He told her about his date with Chloe. She told him it wasn't a good idea.

Lucas called Billie over and asked her to be Allie's godmother. She said she'd be honored. He said he wanted to know that Allie would be taken care of should something happen to him. She asked if he was about to get arrested. He said no. He then asked her to take Allie to Alice's for Christmas, which alarmed Billie.

EJ asked Sami if she meant what she said, that she wants out of the marriage. She said yes. He warned her she was making a mistake. "The only mistake I made was trusting you to keep your word.... You agreed to separate bedrooms," she noted. They argued. "We are getting this marriage annulled. I want out RIGHT NOW," she spat. He suggested they table the conversation until she was calmer, then kicked her out with a warning that she'd be back. "Because you NEED me. You WANT me," he said angrily. They continued fighting. "Samantha, if you do this, make no mistake. People you love will die," he warned. "Save it, EJ, 'cause your threats don't work on me anymore," she insisted. He accused her of falling for him and that's why she was sticking around. She pushed him out of his wheelchair and told him he could get up on his own. Lucas came in and asked why EJ was on the floor. Sami told Lucas that she was divorcing EJ and told Lucas how much she missed him. EJ, still on the floor, asked someone to help him up. "You're not going to get it from me," Lucas sneered. Sami went to fetch the twins. EJ told Lucas to enjoy himself while he could because he would soon be in jail for attempted murder. Sami came back in the room with the babies and after they left EJ's apartment, she apologized to Lucas for everything she put him through and declared her love for him and their children. They kissed, but he was thinking about his plans to run away.

Shawn returned to the Pub and told Belle he wanted to go right upstairs and nap. Things were awkward between them. She confessed that Philip had been there and didn't want to keep anything from him. He was still smarting from the gun snafu. She apologized and said she didn't mean to hurt him. "But you did, Belle. And you want to know what's even worse? Is that my own wife would deceive me without even batting an eyelash," she replied. He added that they needed to be honest with each other if their marriage was going to work. "I love you so much," she declared. "I love you, too. No more secrets, okay?" he responded. She agreed. He told her he wanted everything out in the open and asked if there was anything else she wanted to tell him. She told him she did. He said he could handle it. She announced that that she wasn't sure if she wanted to have anymore kids. Relieved because he thought it was something worse, Shawn told her they would wait until she was sure. He went upstairs to change for the party. She cried alone, knowing she was keeping a doozy from him.

Philip and Chloe met up a Chez Rouge. He took her to the Titan building and told her that he runs all the North American offices. She was impressed. He added that he also sits on the board of seven other corporations, two hospitals and Salem U. He also said he had lost the ability to love. She said she didn't think so, judging by how he looks at Belle. "I don't want to talk about Belle," he told her. They kissed, then fell on the couch.

Billie went to Chez Rouge to talk to Maggie about Lucas. Maggie offered her cake. Billie turned her down, then confided that she was worried about her brother. Maggie said they had to look out for him.
