Nicole and Sami got into a catfight at the hospital, which EJ watched unseen and amused. Two orderlies broke up the brawl. EJ overheard Sami say that she would rather die than let Nicole near her children and considered her words. He fetched Sydney and told Nicole that the little girl was just fine. Nicole was thrilled. EJ spied the bruise on Nic's face and asked what happened. "Sami," she replied, explaining that she told Sami about their new living arrangement and she went "postal". EJ urged her to press charges.

Caroline chided Kayla for her "moral authority" stance. Kayla retorted that Caroline taught her to be that way. Caroline noted that too many lives would have been destroyed by the truth, which made Kayla realize that nobody knew yet. A thunderstruck Kayla insisted the truth be told. Caroline warned her daughter not to meddle. Kayla explained that she needed to protect Stephanie. Adrienne came in and was thrilled to see her sister-in-law. Adrienne realized there was tension between mother and daughter. Kayla suggested they let Adrienne in on the secret, but Adrienne revealed she already knew. Kayla was shocked that she kept mum, too. More discussion ensued; Adrienne pointed out that Caroline would be implicated in the fallout. Caroline didn't understand why Kayla needed to interfere with the lives of two people she barely knew. Kayla explained that it was more important to tell the truth. Caroline said she had been at church every day, hoping God would forgive her. Kayla noted that if Caroline was honest, she wouldn't need to go to church every day. A vexed Caroline decided to go talk to God again.

Stephanie and Nathan enjoyed champagne on their First Class flight to Baltimore. During the flight, she thought about a conversation she had with her mother about the Nathan/Melanie situation. She and Nathan discussed Chloe and whether or not she'd be a good mother. Nathan didn't think so in light of the one-night stand debacle. Steph said Chloe loved the baby and thought she would be a great mom. Nathan ominously noted that lies are bad and the truth eventually catches up with you. Gulp went Stephanie's champagne.

At the church, everyone gathered for Parker's baptism. A beaming Daniel told Carly he felt blessed. Father Matt — who had been called away — phoned Chloe to say he'd be later than he thought.... Rafe called Victor to update him on Bo's case and said he knew Vic had his own men out looking for Bo. Victor refused to incriminate himself by admitting it was true and insisted he did nothing to abet Bo and Hope's escape. Rafe declared that he wanted to help Bo. Vic hung up, then filled in Maggie about the call.... Philip and Melanie discussed having a baby of their own. She said she wanted to name him Philip if it was a boy after the "best" man in the world.... Carly asked Maggie if Victor had heard from Bo. Maggie said he hadn't and asked Carly if she felt alone. A teary Carly said she had Melanie and felt close to Chloe and Daniel, too....A moved Victor, taking in the "Sunrise, Sunset" moment of it all, said he remembered holding Daniel at his christening and told Chloe that he felt as though Parker was his own grandson. Victor made amends with Chloe. She said it meant the world to Daniel and Chloe that he was even there, in light of what was going on with Bo and Hope. Father Matt arrived and the baptism commenced. Carly was named godmother and Philip the godfather. Caroline arrived in the vestibule, with Kayla on her heels. Caroline sighed that Kayla should go back to Africa. "I cannot forget what I know. You have got to tell everybody that Daniel is not the father of Chloe's baby!" Kayla exclaimed as the church doors swung open and everyone heard. Oops.

Sami was hauled into the station. Rafe was on the phone with Roman and heard Sami's angry voice. He hung up when Sami came in. Sami told him what happened at the hospital and insisted they had to do something. He tried to calm her down. Nicole entered to file a claim against Sami. Rafe noted that the orderlies didn't see who threw the first punch and it was a case of "she said, she said." When Rafe threatened to arrest Nicole, she backed down, but not without a warning to Sami that if she attacked her again, Sami would wind up in prison.

At the DiMera mansion, EJ reported into Stefano about the hospital happenings. Nicole returned to the manse and told EJ what went down at the station. EJ said he wasn't concerned about Sami, then asked Nicole to marry him.
