Sami answered the door at the DiMera manse to a panicked Gabi, who was looking for Rafe. She explained Arianna was in trouble. Sami apologized and said that he was on an undercover assignment and she couldn't reach him. Gabi asked if Sami could talk to Roman on Ari's behalf. Sami was sure Roman was on it. Gabi got annoyed that Sami wouldn't make the call. "You think Ari's guilty, don't you?" asked the teen. Sami noted that she never said that, but Gabi wouldn't listen and stormed out. Sami left Rafe a message, telling him that Ari needed him.

Brady walked into the interrogation room to find Ari's hand in EJ's. She explained that EJ was her lawyer. "He believes I'm innocent," she added. EJ excused himself so they could be alone. Brady insisted to Ari that he believed in her. She didn't think so and told him she needed to focus on her case. EJ returned and revealed that he had her arraignment moved up and it would be in two hours. She needed something to wear. Brady offered to get something, but she said Gabi could do it. He insisted he would and refused to give up on her. Once alone, EJ and Arianna went over her case and the times of the attacks. She realized she had an alibi for one of them: She was with Nicole. EJ wondered why Nicole hadn't put it together already. Ari cried that it was the first moment she had hope since they brought her in and thanked EJ. He took off. Sami came in after he left and checked in on Arianna. She told Sami that EJ was representing her and Brady wasn't too thrilled about it.

On the pier, Nicole warned Dr. Baker not to threaten her for cash. She asked where the wallets he stole were. He explained that his partner had them. Nic urged him to get rid of them and demanded to know who he was working with. He refused to give up Hope's name.

Bo and Hope opened the "treasure box" but it was empty. That's because Ciara had all of the wallets in her backpack. Hope felt it proved Ciara was lying. Bo wasn't so sure. He put his arm on Hope to comfort her. She asked him not to. He insisted he cared about her, but she didn't want to hear it. "When you say things like that, it's painful for me," she explained and suggested they just focus on Ciara. Bo said he would take their daughter home so he could spend some time with her. After he and Ciara left, Hope popped a pill.

Carly came upon an excited Daniel at the hospital. He explained he was marrying Chloe the next day. She couldn't mask her disapproval. He asked her what was up. She was reluctant to speak at first, so he pressed her to reveal what her problem was. She was about to tell him when his pager went off. She said she would wait, but he told her not to. "I am going to marry Chloe tomorrow. End of discussion," he declared.

Chloe chatted with Vivian at the Kiriakis manse. Vivian offered to help Chloe get rid of Carly for good. Chloe claimed that she didn't have a problem with Carly and left. She ran into Nicole on the pier. Nic could tell something was wrong. Chloe said that she feared when her secret came out, Daniel would never forgive her. Nicole urged her to marry Daniel ASAP then. Chloe headed home, where she was confronted by Carly, who insisted Chloe talk to Daniel that night. She urged her to be honest and pointed out that Daniel would probably forgive her. She said if Chloe didn't tell Daniel, Carly would. She left. Daniel came home with flowers and told Chloe they would be married that next night. She turned it around and said she worked it out so they could be married in Brookville immediately. He thought it was a great idea, but wanted Melanie to be there, so he asked if they could wait. She smiled like everything was fine, but when he left, wasn't so sure. "I don't want to lose you, Daniel. I have to find a way to stop Carly," she sighed.

Brady ran into Nicole on the pier. He told her he was fetching clothes for Arianna. Nicole replied that she would be at the Cheatin' Heart if he needed to talk. After he left, Nicole vowed to get Brady for herself once Ari was locked away. Nicole headed to the bar and sat at a table. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She happily assumed it was Brady, only to see it was EJ. He said he knew what she did to Arianna.

Victor sat with a weepy Maggie in her kitchen and comforted her. She said she missed Mickey, adding it was the second wedding he had been to since he died. "The more time that passes, the more often that I think, ‘Do I still remember the sound of his voice? Or the touch of his hand in mine?' " she sighed. Victor promised nobody would ever forget Mickey. His cell phone rang: It was his wife. "What?" he snapped. "Victor, where the hell are you?" Viv asked. Maggie excused herself to check her e-mail. Vic told his bride he was at Maggie's. Vivian demanded he come home. He refused and bid her goodnight. After, he and Maggie resumed their chat and he offered to create a scholarship in Mickey's honor. Maggie was thrilled. At the mansion, a lonely Vivian walked on the terrace and laughed through her tears at being alone on her wedding night.

Ciara and Bo arrived home to find Carly waiting. "Hi, Carly," Ciara said unenthusiastically. Carly asked Bo what happened with Hope. He admitted that things were taking a toll on Hope and Ciara. He went to call Caroline. Carly asked Ciara if she could read a book to her and reached for the child's knapsack. Ciara clutched it to her, saying they were her secrets.

Hope got dressed up in her nighttime gear and called Baker. "Up for some fun tonight?" she asked. She said she wanted to do serious damage — and knew exactly where they could go.
