My biggest problem with the "meet cute" of EJ and Taylor on DAYS is that it makes no sense that they wouldn't recognize each other. For starters, EJ is a world-renowned racecar driver. Surely, photos of him exist on the Internet and Taylor would have been curious about who her sister wed back in 2009. But let's say she couldn't care less. Fay never had one photo of Nic and her hubby? Even with Sydney? Hard to believe. Furthermore, EJ is a DiMera. It's unlikely that he didn't have a full background check done on Nicole before he got seriously involved with her. A photo of Taylor would have popped up somewhere. Come on. The story of EJ being torn between Nicole and her sister has potential to be compelling; if only the kickoff of it could have been....
