Lulu kissed Ethan as Tracy entered The Haunted Star and screamed for them to stop. Lulu noted she kissed him, and flirted like crazy as Luke observed. Tracy claimed she now knows what Ethan is really like, but Lulu suggested she "hang out" with him, and they left. Tracy noted Lulu has had a tough year: As Tracy campaigned against Ethan, Luke catalogued his good points, including, "We know he's not her brother!" Tracy wanted him fired. On the docks, Ethan accused Lulu of running a scam on Tracy. She admitted her dad asked her to flirt with him when Tracy is around, but otherwise avoid him. She asked Ethan what Luke and Tracy are up to.

Maxie broke the kiss with Spinelli to point out the tracking device is moving. They set off in pursuit, with the Jackal driving (badly). After several near-wrecks, they switched to her driving and him tracking. "We make a great team," she noted. The beacon led them back to Metro Court. In fact, all the way to the Crimson offices, where they found the stolen layout sitting on Maxie's desk. Spinelli noted his "animal magnetism" distracted her from the stakeout.

Nikolas offered to counteract Alexis' suggestion by paying Rebecca to stay in town. Alexis accused him of being Helena's dupe and stormed out. Nik recounted how Helena killed Alexis' mother because Mikkos was in love with her. Rebecca said she can handle his family. He left in pursuit of Alexis. When he caught up with her, she warned him not to play games with Helena, but he was sure Rebecca was not in league with her. Alexis warned him not to follow in the footsteps of Stefan, whose obsession with Laura destroyed him. Alexis insisted it was obvious that Rebecca didn't show up in Port Charles by accident. "I'm afraid for all of us," she sighed.

In the waiting room at GH, Carly, Sonny, Jax, Jason and Claudia heard Epiphany summon help for the O.R. "Michael's dying!" Carly moaned. In the O.R., Patrick was able to get Michael's heart pumping again. Sonny grabbed Epiphany, who explained that Michael was revived, and Dr. Drake is continuing the operation. Jax suggested that was not wise. Privately, Jax warned Sonny that Michael could die because Patrick is feeding his ego. Sonny asked what Carly wants, — and refused to order a shutdown without consulting her. He accused Jax of being more concerned about the baby than Carly. In the waiting room, Jason encouraged Carly to remember a happy time. She recalled Michael frolicking in the surf with Jason in Florida. She vowed to take him back to ocean after he wakes up. Jason admitted he was scared. Olivia arrived with food from the hotel, and traded barbs with Claudia. Sonny insisted Claudia stay, unless she upsets Carly. When Johnny arrived, he told her if Michael doesn't recover, they are both dead. Jason watched them suspiciously, then urged Sonny to send Claudia home so Carly won't be upset. Sonny vowed to find proof if Claudia was involved. Carly told Jax she's thinking positive, and Olivia urged her to eat. Jax urged Carly to stop Patrick's procedure, but Jason warned him not to pressure her. She asked Jax to fetch Sonny. When he and Claudia came in, Sonny thought it was a good idea to stop the surgery, because Patrick doesn't have experience. Carly asked Jason what to do. He pointed out that Patrick has a proven record. Sonny said Patrick is arrogant — like he was that night in the warehouse. Jason urged Carly to trust Patrick, then Claudia chimed in, "Who died and made you god?" Carly said she cares what he thinks, but Jason stalked out. In the O.R., Matt and Patrick worked together to save Michael. Sam found Jason on the roof, where he explained he pressured Carly so the decision would ultimately be on his shoulders, not Carly's. Olivia confided to Carly that whatever she decides will be the right choice. "I know what it is to be worried," Olivia noted. "Listen to your heart." Jax returned, and Liv left. He apologized for suggesting stopping the surgery. At the hub, Sonny pointed out there's a lot Claudia doesn't understand. Jax reported that Carly had made a decision. She called the O.R. and asked Patrick if he can bring the kid back if his heart stops again. "I don't know," Patrick admitted.

Tuesday

Aboard The Haunted Star, Tracy and Luke bickered over her disdain for Ethan. "He's not your son!" she barked, accusing him of overcompensating for his rift with Lucky. He accused her of being jealous of Holly. On the pier, Lulu wondered if Tracy is right about Ethan being a bad guy. Lulu noted he has good qualities, but, "I don't have romantic feelings for you." Later, while Luke eavesdropped, Tracy told Johnny to entice Lulu away from Ethan. A skeptical Johnny insisted he would be worse for Lulu than Ethan. Back at the Star, Ethan told Luke that Lulu let him in on the scam — and wondered why Luke would let his daughter flirt with his suspected son. Luke and Ethan discussed how Tracy could easily have doctored the DNA results. Ethan insisted that they both accept that he is not Luke's son. Luke lamented not being there for Ethan growing up. Ethan wondered how to prove Tracy rigged the DNA test. Luke suggested a sure-fire way to find out: Ask Holly. He dialed up "English" just as Tracy walked in. He had trouble hearing Holly, and then the line went dead.

At Crimson, Maxie lamented that the stolen layouts were returned and the thief remains unknown. Spinelli suggested culling security-camera footage. Kate returned, and they apprised her of their progress. Jackal realized the layout had been photocopied. Lulu showed up, followed by Tracy, who warned her that Ethan's only prospects revolve around prison. Lulu reveled in winding up Tracy. After they left, Spinelli kissed Maxie's hand and vowed not to fail her. Meanwhile, Kate told a mystery caller, "I refuse to keep stealing my own layouts."

Sam urged Jason to take a break from agonizing over Michael. Jason fretted that he may never be able to tell Carly the truth, because Jax protected Jerry after the Metro Court crisis. He lamented not being able to protect Michael. From the O.R., Patrick asked Carly to have faith and let him continue; she authorized him to finish the operation. Jax and Sonny backed Carly's call. Claudia stormed out, furious that Sonny defers to Carly, who defers to Jason. Sam assured Jason that he really does have emotions and feels things deeply. He said Claudia wears her heart on her sleeve, so he knows she's pretending to care about Michael. Sam noticed the hate in his voice, and cautioned him not to let it blind him. "I was so pissed," Jason moaned. Sam sent him downstairs to help Sonny and Carly through the rest of the operation, and let thoughts of revenge wait. Jax told Carly he's ready to break ground on their new house — and he made all the kids' rooms bigger. He vowed to be the most hands-on father ever. When Claudia tried to contribute to the conversation, Carly went for a walk. Jax encouraged Claudia to leave. Later, everyone was back and trying to enjoy coffee. Carly urged Sonny to think positive. In the operating room, Matt complimented Patrick's skill as he completed the procedure. Then Patrick announced to everyone that Michael is stable, and he thinks the operation went well. He could wake up at any moment. In the chapel, Claudia lit a candle and asked God for forgiveness and a second chance, Oh, and for Michael to recover. As thunder rumbled, Ric warned her to steer clear of the windows! Claudia insisted she's carrying Sonny's baby. Ric pointed out that if Michael dies, Sonny will want vengeance, and so Claudia will die. In the waiting room, Sonny assured Jason he's watching Claudia closely. He thanked Jason for making the decision to operate for Carly. Later, Jax brought Carly home, where she checked on Morgan (who also grew!). She told him Michael had an operation, and they need to pray for him. Back at the hospital, Michael remained unconscious.

Wednesday

At the G.H. nurses' hub, Nikolas asked Rebecca for "a full work-up." Epiphany broke them up, advising Rebecca to flirt on her own time. Later, Edward came by and remarked on Rebecca's resemblance to his "dear granddaughter," and lamented letting "that thug" Sonny raise Michael. Rebecca encouraged him not to let another chance to raise the boy slip by. At Metro Court, Diane met up with Alexis for a shoe sale. (Oh, and some business, too.) Max arrived and invited Diane upstairs — so she blew off the sale. ("Slut!" Alexis fumed.) Afterward, Diane praised Max's elasticity, and wanted to catch the sale, but her blouse was ripped. When she called Alexis to request she buy her something to wear, Alexis informed her that the trunk sale was over. Later, Rebecca met Nik at Metro Court for dinner. He invited her to his room, where they made out — but left the door ajar and neglected to hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign. While looking for Diane, Alexis walked in on Nik and Rebecca.

At the Crimson offices, the newly coiffed Maxie and Lulu anticipated being fired over the shoe layout that was leaked to Couture. Sure enough, Kate sacked them both. Then Spinelli arrived with news that he'd cracked the case! He called up an image of the traitor. "That bitch!" Maxie cried. Spinelli identified Clarice as the guilty party, and Kate immediately fired her and rehired the girls, who celebrated by kissing Spinelli. After Kate left, Spinelli announced that Clarice is innocent. He spotted the stolen portfolio in the hands of the real culprit: Kate Howard. "That bitch!" the girls chorused.

At The Haunted Star, Luke witnessed Ethan screaming into his phone, trying to get information on Holly. Luke took that as proof Ethan believes she's his mother. Ethan admitted that Luke had planted "seeds of doubt" about his parentage. Luke noted Tracy is "perversely possessive" of him. Tracy arrived just in time for Luke to take a call from Holly. He could barely hear her — but heard a scuffle and gunshot. Tracy insisted it was all a set-up. Luke packed for Singapore to "rescue" Holly, and invited Ethan along. Luke asked to borrow the ELQ jet, but Tracy balked. "Bon voyage, ya sonofabitch!" she cheered as he left. Then she ordered the jet prepped for Singapore.

Jax brought a healthy breakfast to Carly in Michael's room. Patrick checked the boy's vitals, and said it's too soon to worry about him waking up. Olivia brought Jax coffee — and hotel business in the lobby. He told her he's sticking around until Michael wakes up. He asked her why Carly wants Michael's room at home fixed up, when he felt she should be wondering if Michael will be able to speak or walk or even remember anyone? What if he doesn't wake up? Olivia said Carly is just having faith — and wants to know he believes, too. Meanwhile, Carly talked to the unconscious Michael, sharing memories of him loving blueberries. When Patrick returned, she thanked him for doing the operation. Later, Bobbie arrived to check on her grandson. When Monica dropped by, she and Bobbie discussed Carly's very dangerous pregnancy and her potential to be disappointed if Michael doesn't wake up. Jax told Carly that Liv is taking care of the house. Carly mentioned how quickly kids grow: "Michael's going to be different," she noted. "He's not the same boy." Then Mike visited. Later, Patrick returned, and gravely admitted, "I expected Michael to be awake by now. If he doesn't regain consciousness in the next few hours, I'm concerned that he never will."

Thursday

Lucky griped to Elizabeth about Luke taking Ethan to Singapore to hunt for Holly. He could not believe Luke actually wants to be Ethan's father. Lucky was even more angry that Luke cheated on his mother. Liz suggested the tryst could have been a one-time mistake. "We've all been there," she laughed. Lucky vowed to take down his father and Holly if they break the law in Port Charles. In Singapore, Luke and Ethan investigated Holly's bar. Luke recounted being a man on the run in the 1980s: In Buenos Aires, he got into an art scam and was ordered to kill one of the bidders or Laura and Lucky would be harmed. He bolted for Singapore, and ran into an equally vulnerable Holly. Three weeks later, he moved his family to Morocco. Laura didn't hold his affair against him. As a mysterious woman watched, unseen, Luke said he'd been shot and stumbled into the bar, where "my English rose" patched him up, and they "had a few laughs." Tracy suddenly arrived, demanding to know where Holly is. Then two thugs grabbed Tracy, who refused to surrender her jewelry. She broke loose, and Luke and Ethan took 'em down (with Tracy's help). When Tracy loudly resolved not to let Holly harm Luke, the mystery woman fled.

Robin attended a group therapy session. She told the other mothers that she's been talking to her daughter on the phone, but doesn't think Emma understands her because Robin hasn't been able to express her love. The other mothers shared their stories, too. Robin expressed disappointment in herself for needing to take medication. Meanwhile, back home, Patrick told Emma that daddy isn't the hotshot he thinks he is, and that her mommy loves her and will be home soon.

Claudia brought Sonny espresso and chow at the hospital, and expressed her commitment to stay by his side no matter what. Sonny told her to forget about all the threats he's made and asked, "Did you have anything to do with Michael's shooting?" She talked in circles, and he said only four people wanted him dead: Jerry, Ric, Anthony...and Claudia. She told him, "I did not do this." She went further and insisted that had she been responsible for Michael's coma, she would have had an abortion because she couldn't carry a child and all that guilt. He said he chooses to believe her -- for the sake of their baby. She kissed him, then bolted. In Michael's room, Monica told Jason she doesn't think the youth will wake up. When Carly appeared, Monica apologized and fled. Jax came in, then grumpy Carly said she wants only positive vibes around Michael. Jax reminded her about Morgan and her unborn child. Outside, Jason saw Claudia leave Sonny, who insisted he's setting her up. But he still needs proof before acting. Her weakness is her desire to be his perfect partner. And he boasted that she thinks he believes she's innocent. Meanwhile, Patrick told Carly that Michael should be awake by now. She didn't want to hear that. Claudia returned home to find Ric lounging in the study. He needled her about faking concern for Michael. She suggested Sonny will overlook her role out of a sense that he deserved to suffer. Ric produced a court order for a paternity test the moment the baby is born. "What do you want?" she screamed "My kid!" he snapped. As they argued, Jason appeared in the doorway. Back at G.H., Monica assured Patrick that surgeons are not gods, and the reason he feels Michael's case so strongly is because he's a father now. Jax told Olivia to cancel the work on the house. Sonny checked on Carly, who relayed Patrick's prognosis. "He's wrong," she pronounced.

Friday

Tracy, Luke and Ethan flew home aboard the ELQ jet without Holly, but Luke vowed not to give up on her. Tracy suggested playing 21, with the winner asking a question the loser must answer truthfully. Winner Ethan asked Tracy why she hates him. She said she doesn't hate him, she just doesn't trust him. Tracy won next, and asked Luke why he chose that dive bar in Singapore. Luke said it had sentimental value. Back in Port Charles, Lulu found Johnny on the deserted Haunted Star, looking over the books as he mulled selling his shares to Sonny. Johnny told Lulu that Michael had an operation, but hasn't woken up yet. After the flight, Luke was enjoying a drink at the Star when Holly strolled in and told him they need to celebrate "their own little blessed event."

Jason wondered if Ric and Claudia were working together, and when Jason set out to warn Sonny, Claudia suffered abdominal pains. Jason noted Ric's genuine concern before Claudia threw Ric out. Claudia suggested Ric might try to steal her baby. Jason related how Sonny would never hurt the mother of his child, but she doesn't deserve to be alive. He accused her of hiring the shooters, and noted, "Baby or no baby, you are gonna pay." Claudia insisted there's no evidence. He claimed she gave herself away by hiring Fredo to bomb Jerry's car. He said when he finds Fredo, the incompetent hitter will sing.

At G.H., Jax voiced his concerns about Carly's health to Olivia, who said Carly needs his support. And he also has to make her understand that she needs to take care of herself and her unborn child. At Michael's bedside, Carly told Sonny that they need to believe in Michael, but he was skeptical. Jax brought in Liv and suggested they talk. "I'm not giving up on my son," Carly maintained. Liv advised her to go home and rest, and Jax backed her up, but Carly was defiant — even when Sonny joined the chorus. Carly accused everyone of giving up on Michael. Sonny left, followed by Liv, but Jax refused to be pushed away. He reminded her that she's risking her own life — and their child's. She reluctantly agreed to go home and rest. At the hub, Monica told Edward that Michael won't wake up. Edward lamented not fighting Sonny harder for Michael. When Monica was paged, Rebecca came over and hugged Edward. She maintained that she knows all about regret. He said she reminds him so much of Emily. Nikolas wandered by and brought her back to Wyndemere. There, Alexis burst in and scolded him for hanging with Rebecca. "Helena is setting you up!" she wailed. Then she demanded to know what Rebecca did in Greece. In the G.H. chapel, Sonny prayed that Carly won't have to pay for his mistakes the way Michael is. Olivia came in, and remarked how Sonny always found solace in churches. She said every kid deserves a good life and a family that loves him. He lamented his stupidity for getting Claudia pregnant. He vowed not to repeat the same mistakes with Michael. Liv urged him to give his child with Claudia all his love. Claudia, meanwhile, cautioned Jason to consider what sowing dissent between her and Sonny will do to the baby. Then Sonny returned and asked what was going on. Jax brought Carly home, and admitted he stopped work on Michael's room. She remarked how everything reminds her of Michael. She recalled that the last time she saw Michael she yelled at him. She promised to take care of herself and their little girl, but fretted about not being there when Michael wakes up. When she saw a photo of Michael, she swooned. Back at the hospital, Lulu visited Michael and said, "I can't believe how much you've grown." (Wink, wink.) She took his hand — and he squeezed it! She looked up to see his eyes were open! "What happened?" he croaked. "What happened to me?"
