Sonny accused Suzanne of having an agenda. She assured Sonny that if he doesn't want to raise Lucian, she will give him a safe life away from the mob. Suzanne warned Sonny that his life of violence will drive Brenda away. "I'm not going to manipulate my wife into giving you her kid," Sonny huffed. Suzanne told Sonny that if she wanted Lucian all to herself, then why would she have brought Lucian to his mother? Sonny replied that he doesn't understand how Suzanne could be so friendly with the woman who killed her son.
Brenda asked Michael about growing up with a mobster father. He admitted that being Sonny's son had made him a target in the past. He also defended Carly as a mother. Brenda said she admired how Michael spoke up for his mom. Brenda then admitted she loves having Lucian in her life.
Jason lamented giving up Jake to keep him safe, only to have the child die anyway. Sam assured Jason that he did what he thought was best. Sam said she had to get to work and Jason thanked her for bringing him Jake's toy motorcycle. "Don't thank me," she smiled. "Thank Elizabeth." Jason gave Sam a tender hug.
Elizabeth showed up at Lucky's apartment and found him bonding with Nikolas. With the paternity test results behind her back, she said she needed to apologize. Lucky said he was the one who should apologize for enabling Luke. Losing her nerve, Liz slipped the envelope into her purse. Nikolas took Liz home, where Maxie surprised them. "I see you told Nikolas," Maxie blurted. "Tell me what?" he asked. Maxie quickly covered and Nik left. Liz explained that she wanted to tell the truth but didn't because she didn't want to cause a rift between the brothers now that they made amends.
Siobhan stopped by Lucky's to take him out, but he wasn't really in the mood. However, he reconsidered, which made Siobhan smile. Lucky thanked Siobhan for reminding him that he's still alive. He stated he admired Siobhan's spirit, and pulled her into a kiss.
Michael went to see Jason and saw a fertility pamphlet on the desk. "Are you thinking about having a baby?" Michael asked. Jason explained it was Carly's idea. Michael asked Jason if he really wanted another child. Jason said he wasn't sure. Michael assured Jason he'd be a great dad.
Sonny went home and told Brenda about his conversation with Suzanne. She wanted to know if he had a problem with Lucian being in their lives. Sonny insisted that he would never want to separate Brenda and her son, and gave her a hug. Sonny warned Brenda to be careful where Suzanne was concerned. "She's after something," he insisted. Meanwhile, Suzanne made a call inquiring about her "grandchild" and said her work in Port Charles was almost complete.
Maxie called Matt over to vent about her frustration with Elizabeth. Maxie hated keeping such a major secret; Matt was proud of Maxie for keeping her mouth shut.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas spent some quality time with Aiden, and expressed how grateful he was to have his son in his life. Nikolas returned to Liz's and noted that Spencer and Aiden were the best things to ever happen to him. When Liz went to get some wine, Nikolas spied the envelope with the test results. Liz returned and saw Nik holding the envelope. "I can explain," Liz whispered.

As Patrick and Lisa discussed a case, Robin dragged Patrick away to attend a marriage counseling session. After the session, Robin confided in Maxie that there was a lot of work to be done to save their marriage. Robin regretted holding onto her pain and anger for so long. Robin admitted that she was afraid that Patrick might grow apart from her.
At Lucky's apartment, he and Siobhan were kissing when a plane ticket fell out of her jacket. Lucky picked it up, looked at it and asked, "Are you going back to Ireland?" Siobhan said that Liz needed Lucky and she's just in the way. "I want you to stay," Lucky insisted. Lucky then asked if Siobhan really wanted to leave, but she couldn't give him an answer. They ended up in a passionate kiss.
Elizabeth apologized to Nikolas when she found him holding the envelope with the paternity test results, but quickly realized he hadn't opened it. Nik promised to support Liz and Lucky, and vowed they'd get through it as a family. Liz admitted she still loved Lucky. Nik assured her that she still had his support, then left.
As Jason and Sam discussed her proceeding with fertility tests, she asked Jason if they were ready for their lives to change so drastically should they ever get pregnant. Just then, Carly interrupted and blurted the question, "Are you going to have a baby?" Carly said she knew she was overstepping, and Sam stepped out for a doctor's appointment — a follow up her concussion, that was all. After Sam left, Jason warned Carly that he believed Johnny was trying to pull Michael into the mob. Carly flipped out. "Don't fight with him or he'll push you away," Jason insisted regarding Michael.
At Pentonville, Johnny visited Anthony, who was upset to learn the guards held up the pictures of Anthony's rose garden. Anthony then revealed that he knew Johnny was bedding Lisa. Johnny inquired what Anthony's connection was to Abby's dead boyfriend, Brandon. "It's all you, Johnny," the insane Anthony chuckled.
Sam met Patrick at the hospital, who'd forgotten all about their appointment. Patrick confided that he was still carrying a load of guilt over what he did to Robin. After their talk, Sam had her check-up and Patrick said she was doing fine. Before she left, Patrick added that having a child together was the best thing that ever happened to he and Robin.
As Lisa lifted a patient's herbal supplements and lied about it, Kristina met up with Ethan at Kelly's. Krissy asked Ethan if he'd be her date for the prom. Krissy played it cool and just wanted to go with him to make an appearance. Ethan stated it wouldn't be a good idea for her to show up with a married man on her arm. Kristina went to G.H. talk to Lisa. There, Lisa passed the herbal supplements on to Krissy.
Patrick went home to find Robin crying. Robin confided her insecurities and Patrick assured her that he's in it for the long haul. Patrick vowed to never risk his family again. Robin then announced that they were losing their nanny. Patrick suggested they call Kristina: Robin concurred.
Carly confronted Johnny and warned him to stay away from her son. "What will it take for you to change your mind?" she asked... Anthony made a call from prison: he was indeed pulling strings.... Jason told Sam that fear was the wrong reason for making the decision. Sam cried that she wanted to have the fertility procedure. They hugged.

Abby stopped by the restaurant to see Sonny. He wanted to talk about Johnny's friendship with Michael. Sonny grilled Abby for info, and shared his suspicions about Johnny's true motivations. Sonny offered her a job to keep her and Michael out of Johnny's clutches — and to inform him if Michael got into any trouble. Michael arrived and wanted to know what was going on. Sonny said he offered Abby a hostessing job. Abby took the opportunity to turn Sonny down. Back at her apartment, Abby confessed everything about her meeting with Sonny. Michael wished his father had more faith in him. Abby advised Michael he should stay out of the mob.
At G.H., Carly ran into Jax while he was visiting with Josslyn. Carly encouraged him to attend a yacht race halfway around the world. Carly insisted she wasn't trying to keep Jax away from Joss. She wanted him to take Michael with him to keep her son away from Johnny's mob influence. Jax believed Carly's intentions were true but didn't think Michael would be able to be influenced. Carly was angry and disappointed with the decision.
At G.H., Robin and Patrick disagreed about a patient. Things were awkward at first but Patrick admitted he didn't want to mess up again.... Alexis went to G.H. to talk to Lisa about her daughter. Lisa thought the jig was up, but Alexis thanked Lisa for being a sounding board for Krissy about college. Lisa said she was glad to help.... After Kristina took one of Lisa's herbal supplements, Michael, Morgan and Dante arrived at Kelly's. Molly had texted everyone to gather and said she had a plan regarding Sonny. The kids heard Molly out — offscreen — and agreed to go along with her plan.
Anthony summoned Shawn to Pentonville to discuss an "employment opportunity." Anthony knew Shawn was guarding Joss but Shawn quickly shot down Anthony's request to work for him. Later, Johnny came to visit his father. Anthony ordered Johnny to work on Michael before Sonny thwarts their plans.... At G.H., Robin and Patrick asked Kristina to take over as Emma's babysitter. She said she wanted to but was had to check with her mom. Lisa smiled as she eavesdropped.
At Kelly's, Molly was delighted to run into Shawn. Molly asked Shawn if she could interview him for a school report on the war in Afghanistan. Shawn said he couldn't talk about it. Molly replied that she'd like to help him deal with his post-traumatic stress disorder. Just then, Dante interrupted and Shawn made a quick exit. Dante warned Molly to be careful around Shawn.
Alexis scared Jax while he napped in Josslyn's room. Alexis was happy to hear Joss would be released soon. Jax filled him in on Carly's intentions with Michael. Alexis stated that Carly was trying to get Jax out of the picture while Josslyn's custody was being decided.... When Carly tried to talk to Sonny about Michael, Sonny replied he'd deal with Michael in his own way.... Jax told Shawn he didn't want him guarding his daughter. Shawn pointed out that Jax didn't hire him, Jason did. Jax said he'd hire his own guard. Shawn stood his ground. Jax offered Shawn money to leave town.
Johnny came home to find Lisa waiting with champagne. Johnny was suspicious. Lisa told Johnny she "turned a corner" where Patrick was concerned and pulled him into a kiss. After sex, Johnny opened up about his crazy father. Back at Pentonville, the warden visited Anthony and asked, "How the hell did you pull this off?"
Sonny came out of his office at the restaurant to find — a surprise party, with all his kids and their mothers present. He was genuinely surprised. The gang gave Molly all the credit. Sonny was touched.

Carly barged into Sonny's house and berated Brenda for "trying to keep Sonny away from his kids." She also chastised Brenda for not going to Sonny's birthday party. Brenda replied that she'd never keep Sonny from his kids; she merely wanted to wait a bit until she introduced Lucian to the rest of the family. Carly scoffed and left in a huff.
At the penthouse, Sam couldn't find her keys. Jason spotted them on the coffee table. Jason knew Sam was nervous about her fertility appointment. Jason offered to go with her. Sam thanked him but went alone. Sam met with Kelly at G.H. and told the doctor to be honest with her as they headed into an exam room.
Lulu showed up at the PCPD to spend time with Dante. He expressed concern about Michael following in Sonny's mob footsteps. Dante suspected Johnny was behind Brandon's death. Ronnie told Dante it was too late to clear Michael, since new evidence had surfaced.
At Kelly's, Abby told Johnny about being questioned by the cops. He said if she ever needed legal help, she could contact him. Michael arrived and asked what they were talking about. Johnny insisted he was just trying to help Abby. Michael replied that Abby didn't need his help. After Johnny left, Abby feared that Michael was going down the wrong path.
Shawn turned down Jax's offer to leave town and tore up the check. Carly caught the exchange. Jax pointed out they needed to discuss what was going to happen when Joss was released from G.H. Carly replied she didn't want to fight, and Jax left. Shawn told Carly he thought that Jax was a "manipulative SOB." Carly defended her estranged husband. Later, Carly found Sam in tears after her appointment; Carly apologized for encouraging Sam to pursue having a baby.
Ethan went to see Johnny. He regretted being unable to keep Luke from self-destructing, and informed his friend that Maya was gone. He stated his wife needed to go home suddenly and that's all he knew ‹ and that he missed her. Johnny was sympathetic, adding that he may have some work for Ethan shortly. Johnny smiled and said, "Michael Corinthos might be coming to work for me."
Jason met with Diane to discuss Brandon's murder. Diane pointed out that no one had an alibi. Jason assured Diane it wasn't him who pulled the trigger. Diane wondered aloud if Michael could be covering to protect the woman he loves. Diane then grilled Jason about Abby's background.
Jax stopped by to see Brenda to thank her for the doll she gave to Josslyn. Brenda laughed at the idea that their kids could have play dates together. Jax then warned Brenda that Lucian would be a target living in Sonny's house. Brenda insisted that Sonny could keep her family safe, but Jax was convinced otherwise.
Lulu stopped by Johnny's to talk about Michael. Johnny said he wasn't recruiting Michael but if the kid asked for a job, Johnny wouldn't turn him down. Lulu begged Johnny to do the right thing and leave Michael alone.
Dante confronted Jason about cell phone video of Michael holding a gun on Brandon, and demanded some answers. Meanwhile, Michael went to meet Ronnie at the PCPD. Diane also showed up because Ronnie called her saying that Michael would need an attorney, since they have proof Michael killed Brandon. Ronnie also baited Michael by saying that he'd bring Dante down with him if Michael didn't confess.

Jax warned Brenda that, for her child's own safety. she needed to keep Lucian away from Sonny. Just then, Sonny walked in and flipped out on Jax. Sonny accused Jax of terrorizing Brenda. Jax countered, saying he hoped Brenda's firstborn would be luckier than Carly's.
Lulu begged Johnny to leave Michael alone. Johnny insisted he was just trying to help the troubled teen. Johnny noted that Michael was a younger version of him. "Michael has a soul, and if you want to help him, leave him alone," Lulu insisted.
Jason and Dante burst into Michael's interrogation and Ronnie informed them that Michael was going to be charged with murder. Jason demanded to see the cell phone footage of Michael holding a gun on Brandon. Diane pointed out it was shot from behind and what was in Michael's hand was indeterminable. Dante agreed. Ronnie warned Dante about covering for his brother. Diane insisted Ronnie didn't have a case. Dante added it wasn't enough evidence to charge Michael. Ronnie assured them that this was not going away. Ronnie left in a huff and Dante told Diane if Michael went back to Pentonville for another murder, they'd never see him again.
At Kelly's, a weepy Sam thanked Carly; Sam learned that she and Jason have a good chance at becoming parents. Carly's jaw dropped, and she couldn't stop smiling. Sam thanked Carly for forcing the issue, and Carly was thrilled about the prospect of becoming a full-time father.
Kristina found Ethan sitting alone and feeling sorry for himself. Kristina was surprised to learn that Maya had gone home to tend to a family matter. Ethan shared that none of the Wards knew Maya had married, so he couldn't join her. Kristina assured Ethan that he was a good person. "I happen to think you're amazing," she smiled.
Carly met with Lulu at Kelly's and asked her to talk to Johnny about Michael. Lulu informed Carly that she already talked to him. Later, Jax bumped into Carly and she stated that the situation with Michael getting into the mob was her worst nightmare come true.
At Pentonville, Sonny visited Anthony, who was finally allowed a plant. Sonny warned Anthony to have Johnny back off from Michael, "Or I will take you down," Sonny stated. "You are not going to use my son as leverage against me." When Anthony told Sonny that Corinthos was the biggest threat to Michael, Sonny destroyed his plant and left. Anthony laughed maniacally.
Dante went to Abby and wondered who was covering for whom. They then quarreled over Michael. Dante assured Abby that he'd never let his brother take the fall for her. Meanwhile, Jason asked Michael point-blank if he or Abby killed Brandon. Michael assured Jason that he didn't do it — and neither did Abby. Jason warned Michael not to confess to protect his girlfriend.
Diane came to Sonny's to talk to him about Michael. Brenda wanted to know what was going on but Diane refused to spill. Brenda was angry that Carly got to know but she was being kept in the dark. Brenda left and Diane spoke with Sonny, and shared that she fears Michael will be charged with murder.... Sam told Jason her news. He remained silent.... Johnny was shocked to return home to find Anthony there. "Justice was served," the senior Zacchara smiled.... Sonny asked Dante to shut down Brandon's murder case.... After Michael went to Abby's, Ronnie arrived with an arrest warrant.
