Monday
Kristina began to cry watching Warren's video message on Kiefer's memorial Web site. Alexis insisted that the truth will come out and she gave Krissy a hug. At Morgan's house, he and Molly watched the message. Molly fretted at the thought of her mother going to jail. Morgan replied that Warren needed to shut up.
On the island, Michael hid as Ronnie entered with his subpoena. Jax intervened, asking if he was under surveillance. Ronnie wanted to know why Jax was hiding the one witness who could put Sonny away. Max arrived and ushered Ronnie out. Afterward, Max phoned Jason and filled him in about their visitor. Jason then spoke to Michael, who said he'd stay put. Jason told Michael he was going to be moved. Michael then asked about the trial. Jason was confident that Carly's testimony would help Sonny.
Carly entered the courtroom with Josslyn in her arms and took the stand. She explained she wanted the jury to meet the baby Claudia tried to steal. Diane noticed members of the jury smiling at the baby. The judge called a recess and asked Carly not to bring the baby back into the courtroom.
Jason and Dante quarreled over Michael and Morgan. After Dante left, he went to see Morgan and Molly. Morgan asked Dante to help them do something about Warren. Dante said if he got involved, it would be a conflict of interest. Dante gave Molly his card and said to call if he can be of any other assistance. After Dante left, Molly said she knew who to speak with next.
At the PCPD, Warren chewed out Mac for giving Alexis preferential treatment. Alexis arrived and tried to calm Warren down, to no avail. Warren refused to believe that Kiefer beat Kristina. Alexis tried to talk to Warren rationally but he vowed to send her to prison and, "If I happen to destroy your daughter along the way, then you'll know what it's like to grieve for a child." Alexis naturally grew concerned.
In court, Carly testified about the night of Claudia's death. Everything she relayed was the truth — except she said that Sonny delivered the fatal blow. At the end of her compelling speech, she thanked Sonny for what he did. Claire cross-examined Carly, who told the jury that Claudia's death was an accident, and she'd swear that on her daughter's life. Carly directly addressed the jurors to beseech them not to put Sonny in prison.
Alone at the lake house, Kristina stared at pictures of her and Kiefer. Sam stopped by to check on her little sister. Sam pointed out that Warren was acting just like Kiefer did, only this time Warren was emotionally abusing her.
Molly arrived at the restaurant to speak to Jason. She begged Jason to stop Warren from doing anymore damage to her family. "Are you asking me to kill Kiefer's father?" he asked the girl.... Michael called home and spoke to Morgan. He also revealed his new location to his little brother.... Sam showed up at the PCPD and saw Warren yelling at Alexis. Sam punched Warren in the face.... In court, Diane declared she was resting her case. In the hall, a pleased Sonny spontaneously kissed Carly, while Claire told Dante that if they don't get Michael on the stand, Sonny will walk.
Tuesday
At the restaurant, Molly was adamant about her request for Jason to make Warren disappear. Jason was uncomfortable seeing his life through the eyes of a child. After they spoke, Molly realized that she wouldn't want anyone to die because of her. Molly then reminded Jason that just because he's a criminal, it doesn't mean he can't get married.
Michael called Morgan and told him all about his new surroundings, including the name of where he was staying. Morgan then filled his brother in on the details of the trial.... In the courthouse, Sonny and Carly broke from their kiss, as Claire and Dante watched Sonny smile smugly. She asked Dante to be a cop and go get Michael. Even Diane was convinced that Sonny would be acquitted after Carly's moving testimony, but Dante told Claire to ask the judge for another 24 hours. Claire argued in front of the judge, promising that in 24 hours, the truth would be revealed. Diane vigorously fought the move but Judge Carroll granted Claire's request. Diane was concerned.
Skye showed up at the lake house to find Kristina alone and crying. Skye introduced herself as the home's former resident and the gals started to chat. They quickly discovered that they were both women who've made mistakes. "The damage just gets worse and worse," Krissy remarked. "Maybe I can help," mused Skye.
At the PCPD, Lucky interceded after Sam punched Warren. Warren continued to shout that Lucky was corrupt and that Alexis would pay for killing his son.... At The Haunted Star, Lucky and Ethan compared notes on the aftermath of Kristina's accusations. Ethan admitted he felt badly for the way he treated Kristina. Luke was actually paternal, then told "Dodge" to turn around. Standing there were Skye and Kristina, and Krissy told Ethan that she was sorry. Skye and Luke left them alone, and Kristina made a heartfelt apology. Ethan shared an embarrassing story from his past, and forgave her.
Dante went to see Morgan. They talked about baseball, and Dante was easily able to get Morgan to spill Michael's location.... Carly went to Jason and reported on her stellar job in court.... Alexis and Sam returned home, where Molly informed them that Kristina was out with Skye. Molly confessed to what she did and apologized, but Alexis saw her daughter's fear was real.... On a plane, Dante felt guilty for using Morgan for information.
Jax came home and Morgan told him that he'd already spoken to Michael. Morgan said he hoped that Jax and Carly won't break up. Jax assured his stepson that he and his mom were just going through a rough patch. Claire interrupted the happy homecoming. Jax made it clear that he was distancing himself from the case, and Morgan overheard Claire say that Dante would find Michael.
Lucky informed Ethan and Luke that Warren was still going on that Ethan, not Kiefer, was Kristina's attacker.... Dante showed up at Michael's door and served his brother a subpoena ordering him to testify at Sonny's trial. "Are you sure, Dante, because you might not like what I have to say," Michael countered.
Wednesday
At The Haunted Star, Luke came up with an idea to help get Warren to lay off Ethan but warned Lucky he'd have to put his badge aside for a little while. Lucky wanted no part of it. Maya entered and Lucky took off. Luke and Maya discussed Tracy, and Maya asked for advice on dealing with the Quartermaines. Luke's reply when Maya asked if she could trust Edward? "Hell no!"
Jason bumped into Johnny and Olivia. Johnny was considering buying the penthouse across the hall from Jason. Jason assured Johnny that wouldn't happen, but Johnny made some suggestions for what Jason could get him as a housewarming gift.
Morgan eavesdropped as Claire told Jax that Dante was off to get Michael. Claire reminded Jax that he can't get Sonny put away without Michael's testimony. Carly came home and had some choice words for Claire. Carly gloated that her testimony will save Sonny.
On the island, Dante served Michael with a subpoena. "Why now?" Michael asked his brother. Morgan called Michael to give him a heads up about Dante. Michael played it off and assured Morgan that everything would be okay. Afterward, Michael confessed that he killed Claudia but Dante didn't believe him. Michael produced the bloody shirt and Dante still wasn't convinced. Michael shouted that Dante doesn't want to believe him because if it's true, he'll lose his case against Sonny. Meanwhile, Max and Milo wound up in jail over a misunderstanding and were unable to protect Michael from Dante's presence.
Nikolas visited Elizabeth at G.H. They heard music and were surprised to find Shirley dancing with Patrick. After their dance, Patrick left to show Robin his moves, and Matt showed up with a feather boa for his own dance lesson.
Maxie barged into the penthouse and wanted to discuss Spinelli with Jason. She stated that even though she loves Spinelli, she knows he's too good for her and it's only a matter of time before she messes things up again. She asked Jason to go along with her renovation ideas, for Spinelli's sake. He reluctantly agreed.
The realtor showed Johnny another luxury apartment, and gave him and Olivia time to discuss it. Olivia didn't understand why Johnny was so adamant about getting a fancy new place. She also noted the new place was right across the street from Jason's. Johnny pushed again for them to live together. When he pressed Liv for an answer, she grabbed her coat and ran out.
At Jake's, Patrick bumped into Claire, who was lamenting her current state of affairs. Claire was embarrassed when Patrick introduced himself as Robin's husband, but Patrick insisted on buying the next round. Patrick admitted he was not a fan of Sonny, and told Claire that she was doing the right thing.
Jax met Skye for dinner at Metro Court. Jax questioned his involvement in Sonny's trial and wondered if the cost was worth it. He debated whether he should pull strings to get a mistrial declared. Skye said it was simple. She asked Jax what was more important: his war with Sonny or his family?
Jason and Sam took time to reconnect. She was relieved that he gave up on his plan to go to prison in Sonny's place. Jason apologized for worrying her. She took his hand and they ran upstairs.
On the plane back to Port Charles, Dante admitted that he doesn't know what he'll do if Michael's really telling the truth.
Thursday
On the island, Jason and Sam made it to the new hideout but were too late — Michael was gone. They got even more worried when they learned that Max and Milo were in a local jail. They got the duo sprung and learned from a hotel worker that Michael was last seen with a man fitting Dante's description.
Back in Port Charles, Diane told Sonny that she was expecting a full acquittal. In the courthouse, Claire and Jax argued over his participation in Sonny's case. Carly then approached to gloat, and Claire spilled about the celebratory kiss Carly shared with Sonny. Jax was not pleased.
Newly returned Dante took Michael back to his place, where Lulu stumbled in and found them together. Dante told Lulu that Michael was claiming he killed Claudia, not Sonny. Lulu was skeptical, too. Dante whispered to Lulu that he wished he hadn't found Michael. Dante then mentioned the bloody shirt that he had sent to forensics and said they were awaiting the results. When Michael went to take a shower, forensics called. The evidence matched Michael's story.
Skye dropped by The Haunted Star to visit Luke, who thanked his former paramour for helping with Ethan and Kristina. Luke then asked Skye what she was up to, just as Helena dropped in for a visit. Skye made a hasty exit, and Helena asked for Luke's help in dealing with Elizabeth. She added that she planned to raise the new heir as a true Cassadine. Luke scoffed at her plans, which irritated Helena. She walked out, leaving Luke unnerved.
At G.H., Lucky visited Shirley and caught her smoking marijuana, for medicinal reasons, of course. Lucky said he was looking for Elizabeth. Shirley said she'd heard of him, just as Liz came in. They chatted about how an illness changes one's outlook on things. In the hall, Liz asked Lucky if he could take the boys on Saturday so she could stop by Shirley's house for a visit. Lucky agreed, and noted how close Liz and Shirley had grown.
As the trial continued, Claire called Ronnie to the stand. Coleman erupted in anger, stating that the trial should be ending. Judge Carroll kicked Coleman off the jury and had him arrested for contempt. Diane and Sonny were crestfallen, as Coleman surely would have voted in Sonny's favor. Ronnie testified that Michael was not backpacking, but was actually in hiding on Sonny's island. He even had a surveillance photo of Michael on the island. Diane argued the photo could have been doctored. After Ronnie's testimony concluded, Diane gave her closing argument. The judge gave the jury their instructions before sending them off to deliberate. In the jury room, the alternate was ready to convict Sonny, but Alice ordered him to sit down and shut up.
Helena bumped into Liz at G.H. and called her a narcissistic slut. Lucky came to Liz's defense.... Lulu took Michael back to her place.... Jason searched Dante's looking for Michael but the apartment was deserted.... Dante went to Sonny and stated that he knows the truth: Michael, not Sonny, killed Claudia.
Friday
At Metro Court, Olivia was behind the bar when Carly and Jax entered arguing. Liv stayed hidden. After Jax stormed out, Olivia showed herself and told Carly that she was about to throw away the best thing that ever happened to her. Despite their own grudges against each other, the women managed to have a heart-to-heart about the state of Carly's marriage. Carly admitted that she doesn't know how to forgive Jax — or how to leave him. Carly also lamented that if she and Jax divorced, Morgan would be
devastated.
While Jason searched Dante's apartment, Claire entered looking for him. Jason pulled a gun on her. She stated that if Dante went missing, Jason would be her first suspect. Claire then told Jason that she couldn't wait to find out if Dante located Michael and if he did, what he was going to do next.
Michael called Lulu on turning against Sonny. Lulu said she defended Sonny up until he shot an unarmed Dante point blank. Maxie walked in and was stunned to find Michael there. She wanted to call Jason but Lulu begged her not to. Lulu was shocked to learn that Maxie was in on the cover-up regarding Michael. Lulu pleaded with Maxie to keep quiet about her hiding Michael for Dante. Maxie said she couldn't promise anything and walked out. Michael feared that Maxie would go straight to Jason but Lulu had faith in her friend.
At The Haunted Star, Luke laughed when Tracy said she considered Helena a threat to their marriage. He then mentioned that Helena was cooking up some scheme involving Elizabeth. Tracy didn't care and left in a huff. Skye arrived, ready to tell Luke why she was back in town. Skye admitted she was broke and looking for the millions Alcazar stashed away. Luke was happy to help. They deduced that they should start their search in the Far East. "Hong Kong," suggested Luke. Just as he commented on Skye's scent, Tracy walked in. "Wow!" she exclaimed.
At Casa de Corinthos, Dante confronted Sonny with the truth that Michael killed Claudia. Sonny initially denied Dante's accusations but eventually admitted, "It was an accident." Sonny came clean with Dante and told him everything. Dante said that Sonny should have just called the cops. Sonny, however, stated that Michael would have been railroaded because of his last name. Sonny stated that he deserves to go to prison because of his past misdeeds. "It's justice, Dante," Sonny noted. "Let it take its course."
In the jury room, Alice handed out the instructions on how to proceed. Lisa suggested they take a preliminary vote to see where they all stood. Alice tallied the results.
Maxie went to the penthouse and asked Jason about Michael telling the truth. Jason said that's what they should have done in the first place, but now there's no evidence of self-defense because of the cover up. Spinelli was furious that he couldn't find any info on Dante and Michael's location. Maxie reluctantly stayed quiet. Jason went to Sonny's, where Sonny informed his enforcer that Dante knows everything. Sonny insisted to Jason that Dante would do right by Michael, but Jason remained skeptical.
Dante returned home and talked about his options to Lulu. Then, Lulu took Dante back to the apartment but Michael was gone. On Baker Street, Michael made a call asking someone to pick him up.
