Sam was excited about being an "excellent" candidate for for fertility reconstruction, but Jason wondered if he's a good candidate to be a father. She doesn't want to have a family with anyone else, but he fretted about being a bad example for Michael. Sam noted that Jason taught Michael loyalty and integrity, and would be "an amazing" father. Jason admitted he wants to have a family with her, but...

Dante pointed out to Sonny that Michael was sent to prison to teach Sonny a lesson, but Sonny was adamant that Dante derail the investigation. Dante vowed to prove Michael is innocent. Sonny asked him to get rid of the video, but Dante said that sends the wrong message. Sonny asked if his badge means more than his brother. Later, Kristina asked Sonny about Brenda barring her from seeing Lucian. Sonny said Brenda is new to being a mom. She worried about Brenda pulling Sonny away, but he promised, "You kids are my heart."

Lucky and Maxie shared coffee at Kelly's. She suggested he spend some family time with Elizabeth -- who walked in on cue. Maxie excused herself, saying he and Liz have a lot to talk about. He noted that Siobhan is at risk of deportation. Liz said she felt guilty about wanting him to take the kids the last time he tried to get married. He told her not to torture herself. She appreciated that he keeps her feelings in mind. He admitted that even though they're not together, he still cares. They reminisced about the old days, like dancing to the jukebox. She apologized for all the pain she caused, and urged him to marry Siobhan if it makes him happy -- no matter the reason. Siobhan found Luke wallowing in booze at The Haunted Star. She said she's leaving voluntarily to avoid deportation, and Luke needs to deal with Lucky. Luke noted that Lucky never lets anything go; even when breaking with the past would be for the best. Later, Nikolas found Siobhan cleaning up the Star after Luke left. She told him she's leaving, and asked Nik to reason with Luke. Luke had gone to the penthouse, looking for Jason. He wasn't there, so Luke gave Sam an earful, calling Jason "a glorified sperm donor" and accusing him of "dumping" Jake on Lucky. If Jason wants revenge, Luke is waiting at the Star. Sam went to Sonny about Luke's drunken visit. Sam wanted Sonny to talk Luke down, or Jason will cap him. Then she went and told Lucky about Luke's death wish.

Later, Liz revealed to Maxie that she didn't tell Lucky about Aiden because he actually wants to marry Siobhan, and Liz didn't want to sabotage that -- and feel responsible. She wanted to avoid making Lucky feel obligated to her. Luke found Nikolas waiting at the Star. "Stop wallowing in your own pain," Nik said, and left. Then Luke removed the bullets from his gun. When Sonny arrived, he sussed out Luke's plan to provoke Jason into shooting him. Nik went to Elizabeth's, and interrupted her chat with Maxie.

Ronnie arrested Abby for Brandon's murder. Michael's temper boiled, but Abby talked him down. He followed them to PCPD, and was followed closely by Jason -- who restrained Michael as Ronnie baited him. With Diane unavailable, Jason decided to appeal to dirty cops... er, police who owe Sonny favors. Ronnie admitted to Dante that he wants to pin it all on Jason. Dante told Michael that a witness had fingered Abby -- and Dante thinks she's guilty, too. So Michael punched Dante! Ronnie wanted to arrest him, but Dante called it a disagreement between brothers. Then Michael confessed to killing Brandon!

Maxie prodded Elizabeth to tell Nikolas the truth. Liz deflected by telling Nik that Lucky is marrying Siobhan. Maxie kept urging Liz to tell the truth, and Liz kept pretending this is all about the wedding. Nik instructed Maxie to let Liz and Lucky work things out. Liz said Lucky should be happy without anyone getting in the way. After Nik left, Maxie said Lucky wouldn't marry Siobhan if he knew about Aiden, but Liz doesn't want to be responsible for Lucky's breakup. Maxie said losing Lucky would be the worst punishment Liz could inflict on herself for losing Jake.

Sam and Lucky vowed to keep Jason and Luke separated. He asked her to occupy Jason while he makes some arrangements. Sam refused to lie to Jason, but feared he won't forgive Luke. Lucky resolved not to let Luke down, because no matter what, Luke's his father, and he loves him. Lucky is going to do everything he can to get his father help. At The Haunted Star, Sonny resisted letting Luke provoke Jason with an empty gun. While Sonny lamented that Michael took a bullet for him, Luke pointed out that Jake won't wake up like Michael did. Sonny urged Luke to struggle through his guilt, but Luke declared "Justice is justice." Sonny suggested Jason would regret killing Luke, but Luke doubted it. And no one will even miss him, because Jason will make him disappear. Sonny noted Lucky would spend the rest of his life looking for Luke. Sonny urged Luke to think about Lucky losing a son and then a father, and to consider forgiving himself. "It's too late," Luke sighed. Sonny said he hates taking his medication, but he does it for his children. Luke pointed out that he and Lucky survived many trials, but they won't survive this. Later, Sonny told Lucky that guilt is killing Luke. "I'm afraid for him," Lucky said. Sonny said Luke doesn't want to turn into his own abusive father. Lucky noted he was never happier than when Luke was raising him. Sonny said Luke and Lucky inspired him to become a father. They reminisced about Lucky piercing his ear. Sonny said, "We all know that drinking and driving is wrong." Lucky called Luke a "high-functioning alcoholic." His dad is about to fall, and Lucky is going to try to catch him.

Michael told Ronnie and Dante that he murdered Brandon. Dante tried to cover for his brother, but Ronnie was eager to believe — and then offered Jason the chance to trump Michael with a confession of his own. Michael continued to fume, despite Abby and Jason's efforts to rein him in. Dante allowed Jason to talk to Abby, and she denied killing Brandon, suggesting she's being framed. However, she is willing to take the fall for Michael. Jason said Michael is stronger, thanks to everything Abby did for him. He left, allowing Michael in. He promised her she'd be released. "I count on you, Michael," she replied. Later, Dante visited Abby and she insisted she didn't kill Brandon. Dante warned her he will get to the bottom of it. She urged him to help Michael by finding the real killer. Jason and Michael returned to the penthouse, where Sam suggested enlisting Spinelli to find the witness Ronnie cited. Jason wasn't so sure the witness is lying; maybe Abby was framed.

Johnny found Anthony working on his computer, and asked why he's attracting attention by setting up Abby. Anthony complimented him for cultivating Michael as a friend. "We need Michael as leverage," Anthony noted. Controlling Michael will make them "bulletproof," and then Anthony can start his "real" project.

Lucky went to Nikolas and proposed an intervention for Luke. Nik agreed to help. Meanwhile, Luke packed to leave town.

When Ethan and Lulu visited Lucky with cookies, he asked them to support an intervention for Luke. "Absolutely not!" Lulu declared, predicting Luke will shut down and flee. Ethan agreed Luke's reaction won't be pretty. Lulu said while an intervention will "piss him off," if they say they love him, Luke won't have a motive to act out. Ethan agreed Luke needs to be pulled back from the edge. At The Haunted Star, Tracy found Luke missing — along with his passport and cash. When Nikolas arrived, he told her about Lucky's intervention plan. Luke went to the spot where Jake got hit, and then confronted Elizabeth. She insisted Jake's death was an accident, and urged him to forgive himself. She said Lucky needs him, but Luke countered that he needs to give Lucky some distance to move on without him. Luke added that Lucky will never let her go until she lets him go, and suggested they "both need a fresh start." She revealed she's trying to let him go. Then Luke left. Tracy and Nik arrived at Lucky's place, and Lulu said addiction is Lucky's problem, not Luke's, so she'd be "ashamed" to take part in the intervention. She rushed to the Star, but Luke wasn't there. She argued with Tracy about whether Luke has a problem. Lucky is just using Luke's drinking as a scapegoat, Lulu insisted. Finally, she said, if Luke is an alcoholic, that's like saying Jake's dead because of his negligence.

Robin visited Brenda, who was lamenting Carly's accusations that she's trying to keep Sonny away from his kids. Also, Brenda feared that Sonny is being too distant with Lucian. Plus, Sonny is keeping Brenda out of the loop with Michael She wondered why Sonny has a soft spot for Michael — who isn't his biological kid, either. Robin said Sonny is naturally cautious, and Suzanne's actions are suspicious. Robin told her to get a DNA test. Brenda said she knows the truth in her heart — and lying wouldn't make any sense for Suzanne. Still, she agreed. After Robin left, Suzanne arrived to bake cookies, and Brenda told her about the DNA test.

Ethan ran into Kristina at Kelly's, and updated her about Luke. He doesn't think an intervention will work, but he'll try. She was sure he would help his father. He believes Luke when he says he wasn't drunk. Krissy asked if Ethan would want his family's help if he were in Luke's position. He said he'd drive his car off the nearest cliff. Ethan recounted how he instantly bonded with Luke, and he's not ready to let him disappear.

At the Hub, Patrick and Lisa disagreed about whether she can consult with him professionally. He thanked her for taking care of a tough case, but she bristled at how he's afraid to talk to her. She insisted she's moved on... and then moved along. Robin arrived, telling Patrick that talked to Kristina at Kelly's, and the teen will babysit "for the month of May."

Luke went to Jake's, where Siobhan poured him a drink — and one for herself — and they recounted their world travels. Istanbul is her favorite city. Luke recounted tutoring Lucky in a con in Istanbul when he was a child. Siobhan said she took to the open road because her father had lots of regrets about his life. Luke said settling down in a home is living a lie. Siobhan secretly called Lucky and tipped him off about Luke. Lucky mobilized Ethan. When Ethan arrived at Jake's, he slipped his dad a mickey that knocked him out.

Luke awakened from Ethan's drugging to find himself duct-taped to a chair and surrounded by Lucky, Nikolas, Sonny, Tracy, Carly, Ethan, Lulu and interventionist Calvin Blaine. "I'm in no mood to play your little game," Luke snarled. "I won't be interventioned." Calvin had Luke's loved ones pen letters to him, and then read them aloud. "I am not an alcoholic!" he railed.

Lulu was up first (with her letter on pretty pink paper). "Dear Dad, I love you so much," she began. Luke suddenly found himself freed of his bonds and confronting Lulu alone in a darkened room -- or, rather, inside his mind. She talked about how all that mattered to her as a little girl was being with him -- not ice-fishing or listening to jazz. "There's something about you that I can't hate," she said. They watched a flashback of a bonding moment projected on a wall. She cried that he isn't her dad anymore; he's been replaced by somebody who doesn't care. "I need a dad in my life," she sobbed. "I'm sorry," he said. "But you are wrong."

After Ethan had his say, Luke called it a con. But then Sonny interrupted Ethan to point out that Luke would do anything to save the life of someone he loves, so why won't he save his own? Sonny called Luke a good father and a good friend. They watched a flashback of Luke piercing Lucky's ear. "Don't let this disease get the best of you," Sonny counseled. Then Nikolas led a flashback to the time Nik got shot in the neck and Luke rode in the ambulance. He called Luke an example of tolerance and good will. Carly, however, bluntly called him an alcoholic and challenged him to "fix yourself." He refused to change, but Carly said, "We're not asking you to give up who you are; we're asking you to give up the booze." Luke praised Tracy for outmaneuvering him again. "You're sick," Tracy countered. "You need help." She then read her letter, praising their love, and admitting she has been enabling him ever since they began their relationship with a drunken escapade. They flashed back to him confessing that she changed his life: "It's because of you I give a damn," he said, back then. She said alcohol is stealing his life, and she expects him to get help. "I can't carry this marriage by myself." He said he married her sober and with no agenda -- but she wants to change him. But "I won't change. Not even for you."

Luke urged Lucky to get this over with, because, "I'm thirsty." Lucky called Luke his hero, right from the day he was born. He learned about loyalty, survival and thinking on his feet. And he hasn't lost faith in Luke. They flashed back to a conversation about how he's terrified of being a role model, instead calling Lucky the role model of the family. Lucky understands what it feels like to be an addict. "I'm asking you to fight the disease," he said. "Wake up, dad!" Lucky admitted, "My son just died. I need my father." And not a faded version of Luke, "I want you!" Luke responded by saying, "I would do anything for you. But I will not lie to you." Luke has to live with the fact that he ran down Jake, and Lucky has to live with the fact Luke was not drunk. "I am not an alcoholic," he shouted. "I do not have a disease."

Calvin said arrangements have been made at Shady Brook. "You want to stick me in a rubber room?" Luke railed. "No, I will not seek treatment. No sale." Calvin pointed out there will be consequences: One by one, Luke's loved ones told him that if he doesn't get help, they are shutting him out of their lives, barring him from their homes, and and cutting off their resources, booze and love. "Get help, or you're on your own," Lucky declared. Unbound, Luke rose from his chair, declaring, "You can write me off as the unrepentant bastard who mowed down a 4-year-old." When Lucky protested that he missed the point, Luke countered, "There is no point. [Life] is pointless, and nobody gets out alive." Then he left, because "there's a bottle with my name on it."

Sonny found Brenda and Suzanne bonding over tales of motherhood. Brenda informed Suzanne that she has agreed to the DNA test — but only to allay Sonny's doubts. Suzanne said she needs to get back to ASEC. As Suzanne eavesdropped, Brenda told Sonny she already loves Lucian, and will have the test done soon. She invited him to get ice cream, but when Sonny said he was tied up with Michael, Brenda got weepy and insecure that he prefers Michael over Lucian.

Lisa brought champagne and wore sexy lingerie to Johnny's place — but found Anthony there instead. He noted that his "file" on her doesn't do her justice. He was impressed by how similar she is to Claudia. Johnny arrived and ushered Lisa out, then Anthony expressed a smarmy interest in her. Convinced Anthony is playing crazy, Johnny demanded to know his real plan.

Abby brought Michael, Jason and Dante home after making bail. Dante reminded everyone that a witness, a club regular called Lance Hendrickson, saw Abby pull the trigger. Jason departed, and Dante told parolee Michael he can't hang around a murder suspect. After Dante left, Michael and Abby kissed, then she sent him away. Later, Sonny visited and promised Abby that Diane will make sure she doesn't do any time. Oh, and Abby should stay away from Michael. She countered that Carly already made this speech, and she can't lie to Michael — even for his own good. Sonny vowed to protect Michael — no matter what the cost. Sonny next summoned Dante, who observed that Michael needs to feel like he's in control. Meanwhile, Abby summoned Jason and told him about Sonny's demand. Jason figured the best way to help Michael is to clear Abby's name. He quizzed her about Johnny. She suddenly recalled that the night she quit, Michael went with her to Johnny's, and when Michael offered to pay off her loan, Johnny remarked that it's nice to have a Corinthos owing him. Jason went to Johnny and demanded he surrender the woman he hired to frame Abby. Sonny summoned Michael and told him to stop seeing Abby. Michael refused, but Sonny said he doesn't have a choice.

Robin and Patrick told Kristina they were headed for Jake's, and left. Kristina got a call from her friend Jessie, who got into Yale. That made Krissy pop another "herbal supplement." Maxie invited Sam to join her and Matt to play darts. Sam told her she's having the fertility reconstruction surgery tomorrow. Maxie said getting pregnant would be "a really bad idea." Later, when Jason returned to the penthouse, he ran into Maxie, who expressed her sorrow over Jake. And she said maybe it's too soon after Jake to have a child. Sam overheard. When Sam was ready for the operation, Jason said he'll support her if it's something she wants to do — but not if she's only doing it because he lost Jake. She noted no one could replace Jake. At Jake's, Coleman told Matt things have cooled with Kate because she's on the A-List now. He wanted to know how Matt tamed Maxie. "Communication," Matt said. He sees Maxie as an equal, whereas Coleman is intimidated by Kate's power. On cue, Maxie arrived and kissed him. Then Robin and Patrick arrived. Maxie told Robin that Matt might be the perfect man for her. Patrick bought a pitcher — but got paged. Lisa responded to a page from Kristina and gave her more "herbal supplements" while Krissy vented about Jessie getting into Yale with lower grades. She decided to focus on her back-up schools. Krissy mulled going to PCU, and grew sleepy. Lisa offered to stick around while Krissy naps. Then she passed out, giving Lisa full run of the house. Later, a solo Robin ran into Brenda and Lucian at Kelly's. Patrick finished up at the hospital and headed for home. At Kelly's, Brenda lamented the bodyguards at home as Lucian played with the jukebox. The women talked about the DNA test — then realized that Lucian was gone!
