At Kelly's, Lulu told Dante that she wasn't hungry; she was too preoccupied about the rift between Luke and Lucky to eat. Dante gave Lulu the phone number of a group for family members of alcoholics. Lulu insisted that her father doesn't have a drinking problem.
At The Haunted Star, Luke informed Lucky that he stayed away from Jake's memorial because he didn't want to cause his son any more pain. Lucky pointed out that Luke skipped the service to ease his own conscience. Lucky was angry that Luke wasn't there to support him; Luke admitted that his son was right. Lucky said he wanted to help his dad but he couldn't until Luke admitted he had a drinking problem. Luke insisted he was not drunk when he hit Jake with his car.
At the penthouse, Jason asked Sam if it was wrong he didn't attend Jake's memorial. Just then, Abby entered and spilled that Michael had a gun and went after Brandon. Abby explained that Brandon got out of jail and she dropped the charges against her ex so he wouldn't harass Michael.
In the alley, Michael pulled a gun on Brandon, who claimed that Abby wanted him back. Brandon goaded Michael by talking trash about Abby. Brandon called Michael a "weak bitch" and said he'd never pull the trigger. Just then, Jason arrived. He took Michael's gun and told Brandon to get lost. Brandon threatened Michael, then left. Jason took Michael back home, where Michael admitted to stealing one of Jason's guns. Jason urged Michael to make the right choice. Michael left in a huff.
At G.H., Patrick took over for Steven so he could spend time with Elizabeth. Lisa offered to help. Just then, Robin arrived and asked Patrick to go out with her after work. Lisa eavesdropped. Patrick told Robin he was grateful they reconciled and promised not to take anything for granted anymore. Robin took Patrick to Kelly's and asked him to see a marriage counselor. Patrick was willing to do whatever Robin asked. They calmly discussed their fears about rehashing their breakup but agreed to face the future together.
Johnny invited Lisa over for a glass of wine. She mentioned that what he did with the syringe scavenger hunt was sadistic. She then thanked Johnny for not being judgmental and kissed him. Lisa was paged by the hospital and left. She then went to Kelly's, where she spied on Patrick and Robin kissing. "Hello, liar," smiled Johnny, who had followed her.
Lulu arrived at The Haunted Star, where Lucky called Luke an alcoholic, a charge which he vehemently denied. Lulu screamed at them to stop fighting. Lulu stuck up for Luke; Lucky claimed she was in denial, too. Lulu cried that she didn't want to lose her family. Lucky insisted that Luke face his demons and admit he had a problem. Lucky walked out. Lulu told her father she loved him. Later, Lucky returned and caught Luke boozing.
Michael returned to Abby's and said Brandon couldn't hurt them anymore. Abby begged Michael to stay away from the troublemaker.... Jason told Sam that he felt like a hypocrite, as he would have pulled the trigger. Jason cryptically added that Brandon won't be a problem anymore.... Michael told Abby he loved her. Just then, Dante arrived with the news that Brandon was dead.

Johnny called Lisa on stalking Robin and Patrick at Kelly's. To prove that she wasn't, Lisa approached them to discuss hospital business. When Patrick and Robin lambasted her, Johnny stepped in and spoke in Lisa's defense. Johnny bought Lisa a cup of coffee and pointed out it was easier for Lisa to want a man who doesn't want her than it was for her to be with a man who might be starting to care about her. Lisa reminded that Johnny he's a professional criminal. Just then, Kristina entered and chatted with Lisa. Johnny was surprised that the gals were so chummy.
Spinelli arrived at the penthouse with a copy of his and Diane's new book, The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli. Sam told Spinelli that Jason went out to prevent Michael from getting revenge on Brandon. Just then, Maxie stopped by and announced that she landed Spinelli and Diane a book signing that night, and he needed to get ready. Spinelli wanted to help find Jason but Sam agreed with Maxie and stated that he should go to the signing.
At his house, Diane had Sonny signing legal documents, one of which was for a publishing company. "What the hell are you up to, Diane?" Sonny asked. Sonny was stunned to learn that he was mentioned in a book written by Diane and Spinelli. Sonny refused to sign the consent form, despite Diane's badgering. Brenda entered and tried to diffuse the situation. Diane pointed out that Brenda's in the book also, and Brenda refused to sign a release, as well. Diane threatened to quit if Sonny didn't do this favor for her. When Brenda realized that signing the form would also help Spinelli, Brenda agreed and managed to cajole Sonny into doing the same. Diane then rushed out to the book signing.
At Abby's place, Dante told Michael and Abby that Brandon's body was found outside the strip club. "Did you do it?" Dante asked his little brother. Michael said nothing, but Dante insisted he wanted to help. After Dante left, Abby said she regretted the way she let Brandon walk all over her. Michael reminded her that Brandon was an animal, and assured Abby that she was not to blame for what Brandon did to her. Abby volunteered to get rid of Michael's gun so he wouldn't jeopardize his parole. Abby then worried about Michael's alibi.
Lisa accompanied Johnny back to his penthouse, where they discussed how they became friends with benefits. Johnny suggested that the next person who brought up Patrick would pay for dinner. Just as they were about to kiss, Dante showed up to inform Johnny that Brandon was found dead in the parking lot of the strip club he owns. Johnny denied any culpability and advised Dante to protect his brother. Later, Johnny went to Abby's and told Michael that the boy was going to need some help. Johnny offered his services should they need them. After Johnny left, Michael asked Abby why she hasn't asked if he killed Brandon.
Robin and Patrick returned to Kelly's, pleased at how their first counseling session went. Patrick suggested they go to dinner but the nanny had plans for the evening. Just then, Robin spotted Krissy and asked her to babysit. Kristina said she'd be happy to watch Emma. As they all left together, Lisa emerged from the shadows and smiled. Later, while Kristina was alone with Emma, Lisa showed up at Robin and Patrick's door.
Dante went to see Jason and told Sam that Jason was a suspect in Brandon's murder.... Suzanne showed up at Sonny's door holding a young boy. "Brenda," Suzanne said. "Say hello to your son."

Brenda didn't know what to make of Suzanne showing up at Sonny's door with a toddler and introducing him as Brenda's son. Suzanne explained that she lied in the past and now wanted to reunite her grandson with his mother. Sonny grilled Suzanne about her actions and motivations. Suzanne admitted to drugging Brenda and inducing labor back in the day. Brenda was furious and openly wept over the betrayal. Suzanne revealed that Theo was no longer a threat to anyone, and she stopped at nothing to protect Lucian from him. Suzanne stressed that if Theo had known the truth years ago, Brenda would have been a dead woman. Suzanne added that she would take care for Lucian if Brenda didn't want him. Brenda threw Suzanne out of her house. Suzanne left in silence. Sonny then watched as Brenda got acquainted with her child.
Lisa showed up at Robin's doorstep while Kristina was babysitting and gave her a book on dealing with the stress of college admissions. "How did you know I'd be here?" Kristina asked. Lisa fibbed that she heard a waitress mention it at Kelly's. Lisa lamented ruining her friendship with Patrick but Krissy assured Lisa that she was still a good person (!) Lisa left, as the camera panned down to Lisa's bracelet on the rug.
Dante confronted Jason about Brandon's murder. Dante was convinced that Jason killed Brandon to protect Michael, and intended to prove it. After Dante left, Sam realized that Jason didn't kill Brandon and asked, "You think Michael did it, don't you?"
At Kelly's, Johnny goaded Patrick about wondering where his mistress was. Johnny told Patrick that he deserved what he got and that perhaps he's the stalker, not Lisa. Patrick asked Robin not to let Johnny ruin their evening. A miffed Robin said, "Let's go." Robin and Patrick went home, gave Kristina some cash and thanked her for watching Emma. Robin went to bed and Patrick noticed the bracelet on the rug while locking up. Just then, Krissy returned to get a book. When Patrick asked about the bracelet, Krissy covered and claimed it was hers. After, Robin emerged and told Patrick to come to bed, then kissed him. Patrick picked Robin up and carried her into the bedroom.
Johnny hooked up with Lisa and brought her back to his place. He then received an ominous call from his imprisoned father, Anthony.... Dante met with Abby, and she assured the cop that Michael was innocent. Abby then mentioned that she'd talked to Johnny about the murder. "Why would you talk to Johnny?" Dante asked. Abby said Johnny had been nothing but helpful to them. Dante was suspicious.... Michael went to see Jason, and Jason confessed that he didn't kill Brandon. Michael claimed that he didn't either. Jason worried that someone might be trying to frame them.

Sonny found Brenda playing with Lucian. She wanted to take him to Kelly's, but Sonny balked, citing security concerns. Brenda said she didn't want Lucian raised by bodyguards like Michael was. Sonny pointed out that this is the life he's in, and his No. 1 job is to protect his family. Brenda feared she would never be able to make up for lost time with Lucian. Sonny encouraged her to take the time to get to know the kid. Carly answered Jason's summons to the penthouse and updated him on Josslyn. He recapped about Brandon's murder, and insisted on finding the real killer. Carly urged him to mourn his son and let Dante investigate. He was frustrated that Jake's death "had nothing to do with the job I chose over raising my son." She hugged him, saying, "You did right by your son." Later, Sonny told Jason about Lucian, adding, "I don't trust Suzanne as far as I can throw her." Jason rejiggered the security details so Max and Milo can watch Lucian. Brenda may be balky about security, but Jason wouldn't compromise.
Nikolas told Lucky that burying himself in work won't block out the pain of Jake's loss — and might get Lucky killed. Lucky admitted he was hurting, and that Jake will always represent an empty space in his life. Work is the only thing keeping him from "diving into the bottle, like my dad." Nik begged his brother to call him before reaching for a bottle. "Life really is short," Lucky said, and so he admitted, "You're my brother and I love you, and that is the bottom line." They embraced. Later, Carly dropped by to update Lucky about Josslyn and to thank him for pleading Josslyn's case to Elizabeth. He preferred to apologize to Carly for his judgmental rant when she was on the suspect list. Carly urged him to talk to his father.
At The Haunted Star, a drunken Luke hallucinated a happy, playful Jake. Then Ethan arrived, freshly back from Las Vegas. Luke congratulated him on living life to the fullest, because some never get the chance. Ethan expressed his condolences on the accident. Luke was relieved Ethan wasn't judgmental, like Lucky. Luke poured Dodge a drink, and then poured out his guilt: "I killed a 4-year-old, and I didn't even know it." Ethan reiterated that it was just an accident. Luke again insisted that he wasn't impaired. Then Luke considered that Lucky is hating the booze to avoid hating Luke. Luke revealed he gave his son the moniker "Lucky" because he wanted to "share the wealth" of living a charmed life. He defined death at every turn — until his luck finally ran out and Jake died.
Carly arrived at Brenda's, looking for Sonny, and Brenda introduced her to "my son." Carly assured Brenda that Max and Milo are good with kids — and then needled her about how many other women have been in Sonny's life. She praised Sonny's skill with kids, because, she said, "I'm betting you're gonna be a disaster." Meanwhile, Sonny answered Lucky's summons. Lucky sad he can't watch Luke drink when drinking got Jake killed. Sonny recalled that after Michael was shot, he wanted the shooter dead. But Lucky can't hunt down his dad. Lucky insisted he can't comfort Luke right now, so he asked Sonny to do it for him. At the penthouse, Jason told Sam about Lucian. Then he lamented letting Jake go without trying to raise him, noting, "I can't stop thinking about him." Sam said Jason made the right choices for Jake.
At the Star, Luke continued to drink. He flashed back to that night. Then he started trashing all the Star's booze, just as Nikolas arrived.

After meeting Lucian, Carly scowled that Brenda knows nothing about being a mother. Brenda countered by calling Carly a horrible mother and accused her of using her kids to manipulate the men in her life. Carly told Brenda she'd never master the sacrifice and compromise involved in being married with children. "Sonny deserves better than you," Carly blurted on her way out.
At Lucky's, Sonny tried to talk to Lucky about going easy on Luke, but Lucky wasn't budging in his belief that Luke's drinking played a major part in Jake's death. Sonny pointed out that Lucky was punishing himself the same way Luke was. Lucky stated that may be true, but he can't get the image out of his head of Luke downing shots just before he ran down Jake.
Nikolas entered The Haunted Star to find Luke hurling liquor bottles against the wall. "Feel better?" Nik asked. "I didn't think so." Nikolas pleaded with Luke to take whatever steps were necessary to help Lucky.... Sam tried to comfort Jason, who lamented he was unable to protect Jake from harm. Sam questioned whether he should take on guarding Lucian but Jason insisted.
Carly went to the hospital to see Josslyn. Shawn told her she just missed Jax. Carly then vented about her argument with Brenda. Shawn managed to calm her down, and admitted that Joss won him over with her irresistible smile. Carly told Shawn she was grateful to have him in her life. She then opened up about how bad she feels for Jason.
Jason went to check in on Brenda. She couldn't believe the irony of him losing a child just as she found her own.... Sonny arrived at The Haunted Star to talk with Luke. Sonny assured his old friend that what happened was an accident and forgiveness will come in time, but first he needs to forgive himself.
Siobhan stopped by Lucky's place. Lucky was glad to see her and suggested they resume getting married ‹ today. She said he needed time to grieve and proposed they go for a hike instead. Lucky dismissed the idea and decided to go into work. Siobhan then went to The Haunted Star to talk to Luke about how tortured Lucky was, and said he needed to be there for his son.
Lucky visited Jason, who apologized for not coming to Jake's memorial. Jason praised Lucky for being a good father to his son. Lucky said he was actually there on police business and wanted to question him about Brandon's murder. Jason told Lucky that he couldn't do this right now, and Lucky left.
Sonny returned home and Brenda demanded that Carly be banned from the house. Sonny refused, stating that she is the mother of his children and it would send the wrong message to their kids.... Carly met with Sam at Kelly's and suggested that, for Jason's sake, he and Sam should try and have a baby.... Luke doused The Haunted Star with gasoline and pulled out his lighter.
