Jason and Spinelli argued over Sam hiring the goons who menaced Liz and the
kids. Spinelli refused to believe that Sam was capable of such an act, but
Jason knew better. Spinelli urged Stone Cold to be merciful to the fallen
goddess.
At Metro Court, Kate informed Ric that her lawyer, Trevor, is is father. Ric
was stunned by the news, but vowed that if that is indeed the case, he'd
prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law. Ric shared that there was no
love lost between father and son. Kate couldn't believe that the Trevor who
Ric described was the same man she had dated.
At her apartment, Sam told Lucky that she regretted their kiss and suggested
that he should not take the job as her bodyguard if it's going to interfere
with his and Elizabeth's reconciliation. Lucky agreed that Sam required
protection and replied that Elizabeth will just have to get used to the
idea. Later, at Metro Court, Sam and Lucky ran into Amelia, who was
surprised by the news of Lucky's hiring. Lucky asked Amelia if she was the
one responsible for the park attack and Sam, not wanting to reveal herself,
joined in the interrogation. Amelia denied their accusations and when Sam
left, Amelia warned Lucky to watch out for Sam.
At the coffeehouse, Sonny was even more shocked than Ric to learn of
Trevor's ties to Kate. The men immediately argued over Sonny and Ric's
mother, Adela. Trevor said he loved Adela and hasn't felt that way about
another woman until he met Kate. Sonny fumed in silence. When Sonny brought
up mob boss Anthony Zacchara, Trevor told Sonny that he's nobody's puppet
and left, just as Jason arrived. Jason was shocked to learn of Trevor's
ties, especially the Zacchara connection. Sonny and Jason talked strategy of
how to deal with a possible takeover attempt by Zacchara.
At the hospital, Liz told Emily that she's concerned that Sam is going to
make a move on Lucky. When Em asked Liz who she wants to be with, Liz got
snippy and said Lucky, of course.
In Turkey, Jerry held a gun on Carly and pledged his love to Irina. She was
skeptical, but Jerry vowed to prove himself to her by killing Jax himself.
When Jerry reached in for a kiss, he shot and killed Irina. Jax and Carly
were horrified. On the plane ride home, Jax vowed that he'd never leave
Carly again. She then asked Jax to tell her that what Irina said about them
having sex was a lie. Jax was flummoxed. Meanwhile, Jerry took Irina's body,
kissed her and tossed it into the sea.
Trevor returned to Kate's hotel room and asked if she was involved with
Sonny. She denied it and he shocked Kate with the story of how Sonny
allegedly pushed his mother down the stairs when she was pregnant with Ric.
After Trevor left, Sonny came over and some demanded answers about Kate's
relationship with Trevor.
Trevor went to the Metro Court bar, where he made a call saying that
Corinthos "was going to be a problem" ... Sam came home and found an angry
Jason waiting there for her in the dark.
Tuesday
Aboard their plane home, Carly was dismayed to learn that Irina had been
telling the truth when she stated that she and Jax had sex. Carly was
obviously hurt. Jax defended the unpleasantness by relaying that Irina had
threatened the lives of Carly and the kids. Jax argued that he did what he
did to keep his family safe. Of course, Carly thought it was because she
and Sonny had sex just before their wedding, but Jax tried to get his wife
to see the bigger picture. Jax kissed her but Carly wouldn't give up on the
discussion. She told her husband that they would not be having sex until Jax
got a clean bill of health, to which, he agreed. "Can we still kiss?" he
questioned sheepishly.
In town, Sonny tried to convey to Kate that Trevor is not to be trusted. He
explained that Trevor blamed Sonny for losing the love of Sonny's mother,
Adela. He added that Trevor blamed Sonny for Adela's fall down the stairs
while pregnant with Ric, and when Trevor ordered her to give up Sonny, she
chose her firstborn. Kate remained incredulous. Sonny then informed her that
Trevor is the attorney for feared mob boss Anthony Zacchara.
Ric and Trevor exchanged numerous cruelties at Metro Court. Trevor called
his son a disappointment and predicted that he's probably a horrible father
to Molly. Trevor then instructed Ric that if he doesn't drop the charges
against Kate, then Trevor will arrange for Ric to lose custody of his
daughter. "You're a heartless bastard," Ric told his dad.
At the Metro Court restaurant, Amelia advised Lucky to keep his relationship
with Sam professional, stating that if not, he'd be the latest in a long
line of men Sam that has used and discarded. Meanwhile, Emily and Elizabeth
watched from across the room and Liz fretted about Sam going after Lucky.
"Pills aren't the only thing he can turn to," Liz lamented.
At Sam's apartment, Sam told Jason that the incident in the park was an
example of Elizabeth's true colors and that she really did him a favor.
Jason was furious and yelled to Sam that if she ever caused trouble for Liz
or her kids, he would kill her. Jason stormed off just before Lucky arrived.
Spencer found Sam in tears and hugged her.
Jason returned home, where he ordered Spinelli to keep Sam away from Jake at
all costs. He also informed his sidekick that he planned to distance himself
from Liz and the kids forever to keep them safe.
At Sonny's office, Diane and Max traded their opinions on Kate and Sonny
becoming an item. Diane quizzed Max on his feelings for Carly, then tried to
see if she could get him to spill Carly's location. Max did not divulge.
Sonny returned and ordered Diane off Kate's case, due to Ms. Howard's
connection to Trevor and Anthony Zacchara. Diane was furious at the prospect
of losing out on the designer dress Kate had promised her as payment. Sonny
ordered his lawyer to stay focused and dig up everything she could on
Trevor's connection to Zacchara.
Trevor visited Kate in her hotel room and announced that Ric would be
dropping the charges against her. Kate was thrilled. Trevor poured drinks
and they discussed old times. Trevor then planted a kiss on Kate. She
politely told him, "Not tonight." He said no rush and mentioned that he'd be
staying in P.C. for a few weeks.
Spinelli visited Sam with a housewarming gift, a lava lamp. He offered Sam
comfort. "Jason doesn't know how to love and will turn on anyone who gets in
his way," Sam sighed.... Lucky ran into Elizabeth, saying he needed
time before they could reconcile.
Amelia showed up at Jason's to inform him that Sam hired Lucky as her
bodyguard for the sole purpose of bedding him and stated if he wanted to
move in on Elizabeth, now's the time. Afterward, Amelia apologized for her
glee and promised she'd keep Jake's paternity a secret. However, she
wondered aloud if Sam would do the same.
Wednesday
At Wyndemere, Nikolas surprised Emily with a trip to Europe. However, Em
pointed out that she's still an intern and can't get the time off. He told
her to use her Quartermaine influence but she said she couldn't do that and
left for work.
Jason greeted Carly upon her return to the U.S but was still angry that she
took off unannounced with Jerry to pursue Jax. Carly filled in the details
of her crazy caper and was irked that Jax slept with another woman. "From
Sonny, I'd expect it," she huffed. "But not Jax." Though she understood it
wasn't consensual, she was still hurt. Jason changed the subject and filled
her in on Trevor's arrival ("Sonny's snobby new girlfriend is doing Ric's
father?" she gasped. "That's just great.") and the Zacchara threat.
At the hospital, an embarrassed Jax asked Epiphany to set up an appointment
for an STD check. Jerry walked in behind him and reassured him that while
Irina was insane, she wasn't a slut. Jax told Jerry that he has no brother
and ordered him out of his life. Later, Jax apologized to Emily for all of
Jerry's past behavior but she pointed out he still has a few redeeming
qualities left. "You're a lot more forgiving than I am," he noted. Dr. Ford
interrupted and ordered Emily back to work.
At Kelly's, Maxie gloated to Spinelli that Lulu's cheerful, springy demeanor
means she must have had sex, probably with Logan. Spinelli told her to butt
out, saying it's none of their business. Lulu shooed Maxie off and asked
Spinelli what she was tormenting him about. Being the gentleman that he is,
Spinelli didn't spill. Logan entered and Lulu asked him and Spinelli to make
peace. She announced that she was heading off on a cruise with grandma
Lesley and wanted the boys to be friends while she was gone. Logan made an
effort but Spinelli still believed Logan was bad for her and refused to be a
hypocrite. He left in a huff.
Ric went to see Trevor accused him of being in town on the behalf of mob
boss Anthony Zacchara. Trevor denied the accusation but Kate's arrival
interrupted their exchange. Trevor told his son to tell Kate about the plea
bargain agreement they'd reached. Kate thanked Trevor and invited him to
dinner. After she left, Jerry arrived and Trevor mentioned that Zacchara had
a proposal for him.
Maxie attempted to get into Logan's apartment to see if Logan and Lulu were
indeed having sex, but Logan's landlord refused her entry. Logan brought
Lulu home and they started kissing on the sofa. When he carried her to bed,
Maxie peeked out of the closet.
At the penthouse, Ric arrived to see Jason, who wasn't home. Spinelli
unexpectedly unloaded on him about his problems with Lulu and a stunned Ric
left. Later, Ric crossed paths with Kate, who pointed out that if Trevor
lied about their past with Sonny, then Ric may have spent his whole life
hating his brother for nothing.
Jax gave Carly the good news that he's disease-free but she was still angry
that he had left her in the first place. He assured Carly that their love is
strong and he'd never leave her again. He stated he finally learned his
lesson. Just then, Jerry burst in and said their lives were in danger from
Anthony Zacchara.
When Dr. Ford chastised Emily in front of Nikolas, he threatened to have her
superior fired.... Still missing Lulu, Spinelli had a fantasy involving the
playmates from THE GIRLS NEXT DOOR.... Jason confronted Trevor, who said
he'd been expecting him.
Thursday
In the park, Jason confronted Trevor and told him if Zacchara makes a move,
he'd be caught in the crossfire.
When Nikolas went off on Dr. Ford for ordering Emily back to work, a shocked
Emily asked him to stop shouting. Using his position on the hospital board
as leverage, Nikolas then told Ford that Emily wanted to take a vacation. As
Em's jaw dropped, Ford backed down and cheerily complied with Mr.
Cassadine's request. After work, Nik was eager to discuss their European
excursion but Emily chastised her boyfriend for his out-of-line behavior.
She stated that it really wasn't a good time for her to take the trip, and
Nik quietly conceded to her wishes.
At Casa de Corinthos, Sonny and Ric argued over Trevor's presence in town,
while Kate eavesdropped outside. Ric told Sonny that Kate had been Trevor's
mistress for years. Sonny pretended that the news was not a blow and warned
Ric that he and his father were going down.
At his apartment, Logan spotted Maxie hiding in the closet as he reached for
a condom to make love to Lulu. Logan put a halt to the physical festivities
and quickly whisked a befuddled Lulu out of the apartment. In the park, Coop
caught Maxie spying on Logan and Lulu. Disgusted, Coop exposed her presence
to the couple and stormed off to work. The ladies had words, but Logan
silenced Maxie before she could spill about the bet. Then, Logan's phone
rang. It was Ric, bellowing, "My office. Now!" He took off and, just the
girls were about to come to blows, Spinelli jumped in and interceded. He
managed to send Maxie on her way, but when Lulu tried to explain her
feelings for Logan, Spinelli told her to save it and took off.
At Carly's house, Jerry told Jax that his family was in danger from Zacchara
but Jax refused Jerry's offer of assistance to keep them safe. Jax said the
person they really needed protection from was Jerry.
Carly met up with Jason and told him that, for the sake of her marriage,
she'd let Jax protect her and the kids from Zacchara, not Jason or Sonny.
She then headed over to Sonny's to pick up the kids. At Sonny's, Corinthos
read his ex-wife the riot act for taking off for parts unknown with Jerry.
Carly was touched by Sonny's concern, then stated that she knew he was in
emotional hell due to Trevor's arrival and gave him a hug. She pleaded with
Sonny to use self-restraint when dealing with Trevor. Then, Carly happily
reunited with her boys.
On Ric's orders, Logan left a message for Sonny with a manufactured tip on
Zacchara. Then, Maxie burst in and questioned Logan's contradictory
behavior. Then, she realized that he must be genuinely falling for Lulu.
Maxie changed the conditions of her bet. She said that if Logan didn't sleep
with her now, then she'd spill to Lulu about the bet. She the pulled him
into a steamy kiss.
Kate met with Trevor and, using a phony work calamity as an excuse, she
ducked out of their dinner plans. Trevor stated he knew she was fibbing. She
confided that she heard Ric tell Sonny about their relationship, making her
sound like a gold-digging tramp. Trevor apologized for his son's
callousness. Sonny arrived on the scene, just as Trevor pulled Kate into a
kiss.
Jason went to Jax and advised him avoid Jerry and put his wife first. Jax
agreed, but was embarrassed when he learned that Carly had told Jason about
the whole Irina unpleasantness.
Lulu went to welcome Carly home and filled her cousin in on the big news
about her and Logan sleeping together. Carly was happy for Lulu but
concerned about Logan.
Back at the penthouse, a despondent Spinelli unloaded on Jason about Logan.
When Spinelli told Jason about the time when Logan punched him out and
grabbed Lulu into a forced kiss, Jason was not pleased.
Ric had Coop summoned to his office, where he mentioned that he's got an
informant within Sonny's organization.
Friday
When Carly warned Lulu to look before she leaps when it comes to Logan, Lulu
admitted that he's got some secrets, but that intrigues her — "Like
being
afraid of the dark but wanting to walk through it." Carly understands that
impulse quite well, but kept pressing, pointing out that Luke would freak if
he learned that she was dating Scotty, Jr., and what does she really know
about Logan anyway? Lulu told her about his military experience, which she
finds funny because he has trouble with authority. "Bad boys -- they're fun
for a few rides around the track," sighed Carly, who later argued that "most
guys who seem damaged usually are" and used Jason as an example of how
"great sex can be intoxicating." After Lulu noticed her bracelet was gone,
Carly took off, promising more bad-boy counseling later. Lulu stayed to
watch the kids, and to take the opportunity to criticize a just-returned Jax
for shirking on his husband duties.
When Logan stopped kissing Maxie, she again threatened to tattle to Lulu
about their bet. That was all it took for him to throw her down on the
kitchen table as they ripped off each other's clothes. They ended up
sprawled on the floor in front of the couch, where Maxie fished for a
compliment about how much better she is than Lulu. He found Lulu's bracelet
under the couch and looked miserably guilty, while denying that he cares
about Lulu at all. Maxie wanted to go for another couple of rounds, but they
were interrupted by Carly's surprise visit. They scrambled to their feet and
Maxie hid in the closet as Carly strolled in, surveying the mess in the room
and noting that he looks flushed. Logan said he was doing push-ups, and
confessed that he doesn't deserve to be with a girl as amazing as Lulu. "I
want more than anything to be the guy Lulu sees when she looks at me," he
told Carly, who admitted that he says all the right things, but warned him
not to screw up before leaving. Maxie complimented Logan on his "reformed
act" but warned him to be careful of Sonny's wrath as well. He countered
that she'll look even worse — but she's already the town slut, and
finds it
liberating.
Jax caught up with the boys, and offered to take them on a sailing trip
soon, as Carly came home. She told her husband not to promise her kids a
future that might not happen, and they fought about him running off and
sleeping with Irina, but he swore that nothing is more important than their
life together.
Kate broke Trevor's kiss and tried to excuse herself, but ran right in to
Sonny, who had spied the smooch. Trevor thought that it was kind of creepy
for Sonny to be there, noting that "the last time we tussled over a woman,
it was his mother." Kate defended Sonny, using the "good neighbor" excuse.
Sonny just walked away, disgusted, and Kate asked Trevor not to attack
guests in her home. Trevor guessed that she and the mob boss are closer than
he thought.
Jason grilled Spinelli about the exact details of Logan and Lulu's
coffeehouse kiss, but Spinelli, fearful of Stone Cold's dangerous rage,
backtracked to keep Logan from potentially being iced. He even admitted that
he may have provoked Logan's assault. Jason reported to Sonny, arguing that
they should fire Logan. An irritated Sonny snapped that he's got bigger fish
— Trevor — to fry, and all the kid stuff will soon be forgotten.
Sonny then
had a heart-to-heart with Jason about how Kate has changed. "She's not
Connie Falconeri anymore ... she's Trevor Lansing's mistress." Kate later
came upon Sonny, who had just poured himself a drink. He ordered her to go
back to Manhattan, but she made him listen as she argued that they both
clawed their way up from Bensonhurst, but she did it legally. "No, you did
it on your back," he spat, catching her intended slap. She then pointed out
that it won't help him to drown his rage in a bottle, but he wondered why
she even cared. "What am I to you?" he asked.
Sam dropped by Elizabeth's and they had a tense and snarky chat about
Lucky's new bodyguard gig and who best displays their concern for Jason.
Lucky got home in time to hear that name, so Sam tattled that all Liz cares
about is whether she and Jason get back together. Once Sam left, Lucky told
Elizabeth that he's already wise to Sam's vengeance scheme; she was hurt
that he doesn't seem to care.
Spinelli headed to the park, where Sam found him taking out his anger on a
trash can. He expressed his concern that Jason might take out Logan because
of what he did. "When is The Jackal going to learn that seeking revenge just
make things worse?" he sighed. Later, Spinelli confessed to Lulu, who
angrily insisted that he "fix this" or else she'll never forgive him.
Sam met with Lucky in the park and apologized for visiting Liz and possibly
wrecking his marriage. After Sam noted that Liz thinks there's something
going on between them, they ended up in a kiss. Jason walked up in time to
see it. Lucky suggested that Jason will probably want to comfort Liz, then
added, "You may get my wife, but you're never taking my sons," before taking
off to check on them. Once he was gone, Jason said that Lucky doesn't
deserve to be the object of Sam's vengeance. "Elizabeth does," she
responded, vowing to get Lucky in her bed, as long as Jason doesn't kill her
first. "That was the threat, right? That you would kill me if I did anything
to hurt Elizabeth," she said. Jason just sadly told her she was hurting
herself the most, but actually reiterated his threat. When Lucky got home,
Elizabeth said that if he can't let go of his anger, they have to end the
marriage.
