At Metro Court, Jax interrupted Lulu and Carly to warn Lulu not to say anything about the Crimson party. Lulu responded that she can talk to her cousin anytime she wants, and criticized Jax for dumping Carly for a "snob" like Kate.

Patrick visited a frantic Elizabeth, explaining that Robin had told him about Jake's kidnapping. He gave her some toy cars from his collection for Cameron. Liz berated herself for her involvement in Jason's violent world.

With Jason watching from the bushes, Sam walked up to the roadhouse where the Russians had stashed Jake. When she approached, a Russian held a gun on her and pulled her inside. She introduced herself to one of the henchman and claimed that she was looking for more work. Sasha entered and said she heard that Sam and Jason used to be lovers. Sam swore that she's totally over him. Sasha seemed dubious, but finally consented to see about some work for Sam. She left the room.... Under the bar, a red lights flashed on a device.

Sonny and Claudia agreed that there will be no move against the Russian mafia until Jake is home safe. Claudia said that she'd never want to see a child hurt. They bantered over their cooking skills, but he couldn't take part in a battle of the chefs because he had a meeting.... At Metro Court, Lulu met up with Johnny. Anthony wheeled in and tried to talk to his son, but Johnny insisted that he wants nothing more to do with his family. As Johnny walked away, Sonny came in and made it clear to Zacchara that he's not going to take on the Russians until Jake is safe and sound.... While his brother was away, Ric dropped by and got a little flirty with Claudia. As they were kissing, Sonny returned home.

Lulu and Maxie attended to last-minute party details, Olivia arrived at the hotel in a short, slinky dress and Jax introduced himself. She bluntly confronted him about bedding her cousin to get back at his wife.... Kate arrived and entered an elevator. Seconds later, Carly, suspiciously clad in a red coat, got a worker to make sure Kate got stalled for a few minutes.... At the party, Olivia chatted up some of Kate's snooty pals, boasting that she shops off-the-rack and wouldn't pay more than $50 for a handbag, which drew surprised laughs and praise for being so "practical." When the elevator doors opened, Jax expected to see his new lover, but Carly stepped out, still covered up in a coat. When Kate got out of the elevator, she saw Carly at Jax's side — wearing the same dress.

Lucky arrived at Liz's house and was surprised to find Patrick there. The doc sad that that he was watching Cameron because Liz had to run out. Lucky asked Patrick to stay a little longer because he had to go track down his ex-wife. Liz was at the art studio flashing back to emotional moments with Jason. She picked up a letter-opener and stared at it. Then slashed the paintings.

Outside the Russian hideaway, someone pointed a gun at Jason and shot! Jason fell to the ground. When the shooter bent over him, Jason snapped his neck, then removed the bullet from his vest.... Inside the bar, Sam excused herself to go to the ladies' room and found where they were hiding Jake. As she was about to grab the baby, Sasha sneaked up behind her and held a knife to Sam's throat..... As the baby played on the floor in another room, Jason burst into the roadhouse with two guns blazing.... Sam fended off knife-wielding Sasha.... Lucky rushed to the studio and found his ex-wife crying and still slashing paintings. A sobbing Liz handed over the letter opener and collapsed into Lucky's arms.... At the roadhouse, the device was detonated. The force of the explosion threw Jason out of the bar. As he looked through the flames, he yelled, "Jake!"
