GH Week of December 20, 2010

Monday

Lucky anguished to Luke that Siobhan is keeping secrets: She claimed to be getting calls from her sister Fiona, but he talked to Fiona and knows she hasn't really been calling. Luke suggested Siobhan may have a kid she doesn't want to talk about. Lucky noted that Siobhan's lies remind him of Elizabeth's betrayal. Luke advised him to "ease off" on Siobhan. Then Luke promised not to disappear before his wedding. At The Haunted Star, Tracy seemed surprised to see Luke.

The Balkan — also known around Port Charles as Theo Hoffman — warned Jerry via phone call that Siobhan is a valuable asset, and scolded him for making an attempt on Lucky's life. The Balkan believes Brenda has information about Aleksander's death. He was disappointed that Jerry failed to convince people that he is the Balkan — and destroyed Aleksander's remains. Jerry pulled a gun on Siobhan to demand a $10 million raise. He also threatened to turn over what he knows to Jason, who could probably find the Balkan with Spinelli's help. Jerry offered to deliver Brenda within a week, but Balkan feared a double-cross and fired him — literally: Jerry was immediately shot in the gut. "Bloody hell," he groaned, and tumbled into the harbor. Siobhan then got a call from the Balkan, who ordered her to tell Lucky what she saw — in a very specific way. She called and told Lucky she saw a man — possibly Jerry — shot. He called the harbor patrol, but the prospects of recovering a body were unlikely.

At Metro Court, Dante eavesdropped as Maxie lectured Lulu about her jealousy of Brenda. He approached and invited Lulu to dinner, but Maxie claimed Lulu had a work conflict that sent her to the office. Maxie confronted Dante about his promise to keep Lulu's heart safe. Later, Lulu scolded Maxie for the gambit. Lulu then returned to the loft, where Dante set up a Mexican party with margaritas. She was suspicious why he did it. He admitted he overheard her with Maxie, but he understands her unease. "You can trust me," he assured.

Carly told Sonny that Brenda killed somebody, and Dante covered it up. Sonny insisted it was self-defense, and "the truth will never come out." Jason declared that Carly won't divulge the truth to anyone. Carly railed that Dante was hiding behind Michael. Sonny defended Dante's "mistake" of sending Michael to prison, and asked Carly to promise not to turn in Dante. She promised not to "say a word." Then she asked Sonny to never call Dante Michael's "brother" ever again. Later, Alexis visited Sonny to warn that the wrongful death lawsuit against Dante and Brenda has merit, so Sonny better prepare Brenda for a rigorous trial. He planned to write a check for damages, but Alexis insisted it's more complicated than money. She acknowledged that he loves Brenda, but suggested that sometimes that's not enough. However, Sonny vowed to never give up Brenda. Meanwhile, at the penthouse, Brenda told Jax, "I've always loved you," and lamented that he may hurt his brother to protect her. But he was happy to do it out of love for her. "You did bring out the best in me," Brenda sighed. She sent him home to his wife and daughter. Later, Dante arrived, and Brenda insisted she was happy being with Sonny. "I don't want to talk about the baby," she declared. Later still, Brenda worried about taking the stand in the lawsuit, and she want to leave town. She convinced Jason to take her for a walk. Near the pier, Theo approached her to return a dropped glove. Meanwhile, Carly arrived at the penthouse to get a progress report from Spinelli, who revealed that Dante made payments to attorneys specializing in family law back in 2007.

Tuesday

At the penthouse, Jason told Brenda he's not going to the wedding. After she left, he summoned Sam and asked her to spend the night. They kissed, and agreed to go buy a Christmas tree. At Sonny's place, Dante told Sonny that Jerry was reportedly shot on the pier and may be dead, but it's not certain. Sonny cautioned his son about weddings, likening them to a virus that "everyone" may come down with. When Michael arrived, Sonny revealed he's hosting a Christmas brunch for all his kids, and invited Dante. However, Dante already promised to go to Bensonhurst for the holidays. Michael accepted, and Sonny noted he wants Brenda there, too. Michael realized his father is serious about Brenda. "My life without Brenda is a thing of the past," Sonny declared. At the P.I. office, Carly presented Spinelli with plane tickets to New York and a mission: Physically break into the family law offices and uncover evidence. Carly reasoned that Dante and Brenda either got married, divorced, or there was a child involved.

Lulu and Maya tried to prep Tracy for her wedding, but the bride was skeptical that Luke would sign away her money via prenup. Maya pointed out that Tracy has won, but the bride didn't believe it. She didn't even want to put on the gown. Maya nd Lulu worked each other into a lather of worry over Luke and Tracy, but Tracy remained resigned. Nevertheless, she agreed to at least 0wear the dress. Meanwhile, Lucky and Ethan had kept Luke under lock-and-key at Lucky's place, to keep him from rabbiting. Luke insisted he honestly wants to marry Tracy. Ethan pointed out that marrying Tracy makes Luke Ethan's uncle as well as his father! The guys got into their monkey suits, and Luke begged for some "liquid refreshment" to help him at the ceremony, but was refused. Edward suddenly appeared and offered to take Luke to the airport. Luke refused. Later, at the Q mansion, Edward offered him a drink, which he also refused. Then Edward dangled a blank check to get Luke to disappear for good. "Pass," Luke said. Edward congratulated him for passing his test, and authorized him to marry his daughter. However, Luke's access to Edward's cigars and reserved scotch will be limited. And he warned Luke not to break his daughter's heart. Alexis handed Luke the prenup. Luke bristled that the document means Tracy doesn't trust him. Ethan, Lucky, Lulu and Alexis urged him to sign it, so he did. Guests gathered in the foyer, including Alice -- who was dressed for a funeral; fearful that Tracy will kill Luke's fun nature. Jax questioned Lucky about the reports that Jerry is dead, admitting he kind of hopes his brother is alive. Nikolas arrived with Brook. When Sonny arrived with Brenda, Brook recognized her godmother. Sonny warned Carly not to cause trouble. "I just like to watch," Carly sniped.

At the Hub, Robin and Lisa traded barbs. When Patrick arrived, Robin invited him to spend Christmas with her and Emma. However, it's not a reconciliation; he will be sleeping in the guest room. They joked about his poor present-wrapping skills, and agreed to get Emma a Christmas tree. Meanwhile, Lisa left a voicemail for...someone. Then she asked Patrick to consult on a case, but he pointed out it was Matt's case, and walked away.

At the Q mansion, the ceremony got under way with Tracy descending the stairs, stunned to see Luke waiting. Alexis waved the prenup, then Tracy marched down the aisle. But then she demanded to see the signed document. However, Luke snatched it away and declared that they need to get real. He cited an old Motown tune, "The Hunter Gets Caught by the Game," sung by the Marvellettes, which sums up what happened to him. "I love you Tracy Spanky Popsicle Quartermaine," he said, sounding very sincere. "Luke Spencer, I will love you until the day I die," she replied.

Wednesday

Lucas Lorenzo and Tracy Angelica's wedding continued with the couple looking quite happy. Jax scolded Carly for texting during the ceremony. Alice tried to object, but Edward silenced her. Tracy hesitated, but agreed to accept him (in sickness and in health, etc.), and they exchanged rings... But before the kiss, she demanded to see the prenup. Luke refused, sparking a Tracy walkout — but Lulu blocked her path. Then Brook Lynn pulled her aside. As her granddaughter, Brook urged Tracy to get out of her own way; there are no guarantees of happiness, paper or no paper. "Take your chance," Brook pleaded. Tracy relented, and kissed her groom. Afterward, Lucky advised his father, "Don't blow it!" Brook explained to Tracy that she hopes that somebody will save her from herself, someday. Carly received a text stating, "I got it." Dante promised Lulu he won't make her regret opening her heart to him. Ethan toasted the happy couple. Then Lucky made a (no alcohol) speech, noting that he was "stunned" that his dad and Tracy got it wrong for so long, but finally got it right. Next came Lulu, who praised her "stepmonster" — make that "stepmother." Luke took the floor and reveled in calling Tracy "my wife." He admitted he had lost interest in his life before Tracy entered it. "I'm kind of at a loss for words," Tracy admitted. "I've never been happier in my life." Brenda and Sonny slipped away. Edward approached Ethan and hinted at "great plans," but Luke shooed him away. Brenda found Carly in the parlor, where they admitted they don't like each other. Brenda asked her to let Morgan attend the Christmas brunch, and Carly flamed her for talking about her kid. Brenda asked why Carly is trying to make things worse. Sonny interrupted, and Carly left. "Why were you with her?" Brenda asked him. He invited her outside. Tracy danced with her father, and Luke boogied with Alice. Edward laid a flower before Lila's photo, and told her their daughter is happy. Michael and Jason arrived. "Merry Christmas, Grandfather," Jason said. Luke admitted to Tracy that he signed the prenup "Wile E. Coyote."

Patrick and Robin trimmed the tree together to make Christmas happy for Emma. Mac arrived and demanded to know "what the hell" Patrick was doing there. Patrick appealed for "peace on Earth," and Robin urged her uncle to go to Luke and Tracy's wedding because Alexis will be there. Together, the family hung her stocking. Mac arrived at the reception, and waved to Alexis.

Jason and Sam returned to the penthouse with a runt tree that she insisted on rescuing from the tree lot. Then Molly arrived to take him Christmas shopping, because he's "romantically challenged." Sam called her sister off. While they were trimming the tree, Michael arrived. Molly was explaining the origin of decorating trees (It's a pagan ritual) when Spinelli arrived in a frenzy and ran upstairs. He soon rushed out again, dressed in a coat and tie. Sam and Jason urged Michael to go on the ski trip. Jason assured Molly he already has a gift for Sam — which she will get in the morning.

Matt found a crabby Maxie at Crimson, and she promptly broke up with him. "All guys who fall for me either die or suffer a horrible fate," she noted, adding that she likes him enough to spare him. "I'm willing to risk being a memory later if it means being with you now," he declared. "I am a trainwreck," Maxie lamented. Matt shut her up with a kiss, and told her she doesn't have to change. For some reason he called her "loyal," and declared, "You meet all my criteria." She was bemoaning the lack of family Xmas ornaments when he decided they should go get new ornaments to start new traditions. So they left together.

Sonny took Brenda to the rose garden. She admitted she used to wonder if they could ever be like Edward and Lila someday. He said he's been thinking about her, too. Spinelli arrived at the reception toting an envelope and ran directly into Lulu and Dante. Carly was not pleased to see Spin shake hands, apparently making amends with Dante. Then Carly snatched the document from Spinelli. It proved Dante and Brenda have a child and he gave her full custody. "Brenda is the mother of Sonny's grandchild!" Carly exulted. Outside, Sonny asked Brenda: "Will you give me the honor of becoming my wife?"
