Monday

At G.H., Patrick and Robin discussed whether they thought Lisa was dating Ethan. Just then, Ethan arrived and said he wasn't dating Lisa. Maya popped
up and she'd be curious to hear his story, as well. Just then, a loud man in
a wheelchair entered, demanding medical attention. The bombastic gentleman
complained about being left outside, and introduced himself as Theo Hoffman.
He suspected he had a brain tumor. As Theo huffed and puffed, Robin seemed
to calm him down when no one else could.

At his penthouse, Johnny threatened Lisa with blackmail to treat his gunshot
wound. Lisa reluctantly agreed. As she finished up, Olivia arrived and
demanded to know what was going on. "You're just making friends all over
town," Liv snarked to Dr. Niles. Olivia then asked Lisa to leave so she and
Johnny could talk. Johnny told Olivia he couldn't change for her and it was
probably better if they moved on. Olivia asked Johnny to stand up and give
her a kiss good-bye. When he couldn't, Olivia said she saw through he act
with Lisa and demanded to know who shot him. He suggested she was better off
without him. Olivia tossed Johnny her set of keys and left.

Jason, Sam and Dante plotted to flush out The Balkan when he came to claim
Aleksander's remains. Dante said he'd talk to Steven about having the body
shipped to G.H. Dante went to talk to Steven, and met the blustery Theo.
Dante charmed him as they discussed opera. After, Steven agreed to cooperate
with Dante's investigation.

In Brenda's room, an amorous Sonny and Brenda knocked over a vase while they
were kissing. As Brenda unbuttoned Sonny's shirt, Spinelli and Carly rushed
into the room and found them together. Sonny accused Carly of trying to
sabotage his date. The exes then got into a shouting match. After Carly
stormed out, Sonny tried to whisk Brenda away, only to run into Suzanne, who
chastised Brenda for forgetting that she was due at a charity cocktail
reception. "Not tonight," Sonny moaned. Suzanne gave Brenda the hard sell.
Sonny agreed to accompany her but Suzanne wouldn't hear of it. Suzanne
called Dante and asked him to escort Brenda to the function. Brenda got
dressed and came downstairs to see Dante. "Just like old times," she smiled.

Michael ran into Abby while he was heading to the loft and she was on her
way to the strip club. Just then one of the regulars, Rodney, happened by
and made rude comments to Abby. Michael got angry and threw Rodney into a
wall, leaving the man bleeding. Michael called Jason for assistance. Jason
arrived and ordered Rodney not to call the cops. Recognizing Jason, Rodney
complied. Michael told Jason about his friendship with Abby. Jason replied
that Michael couldn't afford to get into any more fights. Afterward, Abby
went to see Michael and while she thanked him for his good intentions, she
stated that he can't beat up her clientele.

Back at G.H., Maya pulled Ethan away and he replied that if she wanted to
make their marriage work, they needed to start having sex again. Maya agreed
to meet Ethan halfway and pulled him into an empty room and they started
kissing. Then, Maya demanded an explanation regarding Lisa. Ethan said he
was covering for Johnny. "So I'm not married to a cheater," Maya smiled.
"Just a pimp." And with that, Maya left. Later, Lisa tried to assure Maya
that she wasn't a husband stealer but Maya wasn't interested. Meanwhile,
Robin went to see Theo with his test results.

Tuesday

Abby explained that the man who accosted her was a regular customer who would never hurt her. Michael worried that Abby thought he was crazy, but she brushed aside his fear. Michael explained how he sympathizes with anybody who gets touched against their will, and emotionally abused. He revealed how Carter used to touch him and belittle him. Michael said he pretended it didn't matter, because he separates his personality in his mind. She does the same thing at work. "Men touch me," she said. "It's part of my job." She keeps her Candy persona compartmentalized from Abby. But, "It's different to shut down in real life," she pointed out. He said he just can't connect with his father or mother. He tried to ask her out, but Kristina's arrival interrupted. Abby agreed to return after work, then left. "She's a lot older than you," Krissy observed. He said he likes her a lot, and admitted that Abby is a stripper. Kristina was aghast. "Abby is not your friend," she said. Abby must know that he will inherit serious money someday. "She wants your money," Krissy insisted. And Michael wondered about that.

Siobhan extracted an apology from Lucky for trying to leave her behind. She insisted on saving his "stubborn and ungrateful backside" on his new mission. He wanted to work alone, but she threatened to summon his dad and sister for help, so he relented. Luckily wanted to improvise, but Siobhan insisted on a plan — and her role be serving as the distraction. When room service arrived, Siobhan asked her if she wants to earn some extra cash.

Molly wanted to interview Edward for a school project. She asked what matters most to him. "Everything I do is for family," Edward declared. Molly asked why most of the family hates him. Edward insisted on responding off the record. He brought up Maya and Ethan, suggesting he sees a great deal of promise in Ethan. Edward wants to groom him to run ELQ someday. As long as Ethan is in the family, "I can influence him," Edward said. Meanwhile, Ethan went to The Haunted Star, where Luke was grumbling because he couldn't get any high-rollers to show up and lose enough money to finance his marriage to Tracy. Ethan lamented that Maya won't sleep with him anymore. Tracy burst in, furious that Luke had closed the club. She was quickly followed by Maya, who wanted to make peace with Ethan. After she kissed him, he asked her to have sex — which completely ruined the mood. She asked him to make her feel like he's not just out for Edward's money or to have a good time. She stormed out, and he followed. Luke and Tracy realized that Edward is up to something by trying to keep Maya and Ethan married. Luke later confronted Edward, accusing him of using Ethan to strike back at him. Outside, Maya condemned Ethan as a player and said she's leaving before he gets a chance to leave her. "It's possible that I somewhat care about you," he admitted, then kissed her.

At the hospital, Robin told Theo that tests indicate he has no brain tumor, but Theo criticized the skills of the medical personnel. In mid-tirade, he was impressed to learn that Robin studied in Paris, and they shared impressions of the City of Lights. While Theo was supposed to be discharged, Robin agreed to keep him overnight for observation.

Dante admitted to Brenda, "I think about us, a lot." She admitted to thinking about him, too. And neither has any regrets. Later, Dante escorted Brenda to a party. They were reminiscing in the limo when it came to a sudden halt. Brenda's shoe was busted, so Dante hopped out and tried to convinced a woman to sell him her shoes (using Brenda's cash). After the party, Brenda wanted him to know how much he means to her. He was just about to make a confession of his own when Sonny called Brenda.

Wednesday

At the Quartermaine mansion, Luke demanded that Edward reveal his ulterior motive for wanting Ethan and Maya to remain married. Edward admitted he feels guilty for the mistakes he made with Mary May, their son Bradley, and his son Justus. Edward maintained that Maya loves Ethan. When Maya and Ethan arrived, Luke warned them to be wary. Then Tracy entered and finalized the wedding party: Lucky will be best man, Ethan a groomsman, Maya a bridesmaid and Lulu maid of honor. Tracy pointed out Luke hasn't signed the pre-nup. Edward commanded Maya and Ethan to pool their resources and live together "as Mr. and Mrs. Lovett" in the east wing — or they don't get a cent. Lulu lectured Luke about not hurting Tracy's feelings. Luke pointed out to her that Dante is hooked on adrenaline, which is addictive. Dante's grandfather, Mike, is addicted to gambling, and Sonny is addicted to power. Can Lulu live with Dante risking his life every day?

Lucky and Siobhan argued about her plan to provide a distraction while he empties Ronan's safe-deposit box, but they soon began bantering and kissing. Later, Siobhan headed out to get him "a lovely surprise." It was a surprise all right: She met with a mystery man and promised that tomorrow, "I'll be able to get what the Balkan needs." Siobhan brought Lucky Dutch apple cookies — which he remembered from his youth in Amsterdam with his mom.

Patrick overheard Theo ranting to Steve about unsanitary conditions in his room. Steve gave Theo some aspirin, because he's in perfect health. Steve told Patrick that Robin admitted Theo, so Patrick summoned Robin. She explained that Theo is "lonely." Steve agreed to let Theo stay the night. Robin visited Theo, who sarcastically sang the praises of aspirin. "I lost someone," Theo mused, "in the prime of life." He told her not to believe it when people tell her there's time to do things, because there's never enough time. She returned to the Hub and eyed Patrick a bit wistfully.

Kristina claimed Michael could be with someone better than Abby, and she expects Abby to ask him for money to sleep with her. After Krissy left, Abby soon arrived. She asked about his plans after his parole is over and he said he wants to travel and see the pyramids in Egypt, a game park in Botswana, and horse racing in Sienna, Italy. He apologized for chasing away her customer earlier — and offered to pay her for her time now. She was hurt by his implication that she's only a mercenary. Upset, she fled.

Brenda told Dante that Sonny was grumpy because Suzanne mentioned "organized crime" in front of him. Brenda promised to reward Dante for securing replacement shoes for her: She plans to help smooth over his relationship with his father. Dante didn't think that was possible. "You two are both good men," she insisted. Sonny has his flaws, but he loves Dante. Sonny arrived, so Dante left. He went to Jake's and surrendered his keys, intending to drink away his Brenda-inspired blues. Coleman commiserated about pining after women who are off-limits.Dante wanted to leave the past in the past, but his past has intruded on his present. Dante drank like a fish and was wasted in no time. Coleman called Michael to give the drunken Dante a ride home. Back at the loft, Dante babbled and lamented not telling Brenda how he really felt about her at the time — that he would have done anything for her. He hasn't thought about her in years, and then fell in love with Lulu, and now he sees Brenda all the time. Michael put his drunken brother to bed, where he passed out. Meanwhile, Diane arrived at Sonny's. She expressed her admiration for Brenda as a model, but called Brenda "a complication" her client cannot afford. Sonny reminded her his personal life is off-limits, but Diane pointed out that his personal relationship with Claire is causing him headaches now. Diane left, and Brenda worried that she's not good for Sonny, so she left, too.

Thursday

Jason invited Steve to the penthouse, where the hit man asked for his help keeping Brenda safe. Jason wants to use Aleksander's remains to lure the Balkan out of hiding: When he shows up to collect his son's corpse, Jason will swoop in. Steve reluctantly told him the body will be released at 5 p.m. on Wednesday from the east loading bay. Meanwhile, at G.H., Theo fretted about the eggs, while Patrick gave him a clean bill of health. Robin told Patrick there's no harm in letting Theo stay another night. At Johnny's place, Lisa patched the gangster's gunshot wound while he reminded her about the syringe. Johnny asked her to steal the antibiotics he needs to stave off a fatal infection. He hinted that if he dies, her syringe secret will be exposed. Later, Steve informed Nikolas he may extend Lisa's probation, but Nik seemed against it. Lisa answered Theo's summons, and he insisted he has a brain tumor (or "cranial malignancy"). Still later, Patrick wheeled Theo to the Hub, where Robin told him they will do an MRI. While everyone was talking, Lisa appeared to pocket a bottle from a conveniently unattended, non-locking med cart. Robin spotted her, and accused her of stealing in front of everyone.

Lucky caught Siobhan on the phone with one of Balkan's men, so she pretended to be talking to her disapproving sister, Fiona. Lucky swallowed it. Later, Lucky arranged to pay the waitress $100 now, and $100 after the job to be the decoy. When the plan was set in motion, the thugs followed the disguised waitress (as Siobhan ordered yesterday), and took the decoy envelope. Lucky and Siobhan returned to the hotel with the real envelope. Lucky fretted that it was "way too easy." He opened the envelope and found surveillance photos of Aleksander with Brenda, and pics of uniformed Dante guarding Brenda.

At the loft, Michael offered Dante "prairie oysters" to cure his hangover. Dante worried that he said too much about Brenda last night. Still, he insisted he meant what he said: When he sent Brenda away the last time, "I loved her," and those feelings came flooding back when he saw her again. But he doesn't want to ruin what he has with Lulu. He understands that Sonny loves Brenda. Michael suggested that Sonny is with Brenda in part to to piss off Carly. Carly went to Sonny's place and scolded him for being with Brenda. He assured her that she cannot ruin his reunion. "Don't be so sure," Carly warned. Jason entered, and Carly demanded he tell Sonny that he's not being fair to anyone — including Brenda. Michael thinks Carly resents that Brenda connects so well with Sonny. And Sonny wants to prove to Carly hat he can have the same happiness that she has with Jax. Michael also believes Sonny/Brenda would have worked in the past if they had been honest with each other. Dante contemplated telling Brenda how he feels when Lulu arrived. "I gotta be honest with you," he said. And then lied that he was upset and drinking because he has been compromising cases involving Sonny just because they share DNA. Dante went to visit Sonny, and called Brenda "a good woman." He cautioned his father not to hurt Brenda by pushing the relationship. Sonny noted that he and Brenda are at a point where they can "be honest with each other." Later, Sonny admitted to Jason that he is worried about going forward with Brenda, but nothing will stop him. Later, Jason summoned Carly and told her to butt out of Sonny's personal life. He demanded proof of her allegations. She challenged him to help her find it. Carly vowed to prove Brenda and Dante had an affair — and promised she won't keep it to herself.

Michael met Abby on the pier and apologized for offering her money. Abby realized he meant well, and she really likes him. She got a little weepy as she talked about the way some dumb customers at the strip club assume she's also a hooker. "It's really nice to have someone to talk to," Michael said. He told her about his father's ex-girlfriend being back in town and that "Dante used to be in love with Brenda"— just as Lulu arrived.

Friday

Robin told Steve and Patrick that Lisa stole a bottle from the med cart. They were skeptical until Theo revealed he saw it all. Then Lisa admitted pocketing antibiotics as a favor to her housekeeper's illegal cousin. Steve let her keep the bottle, angering Patrick. Theo scolded Patrick for his lack of focus, accusing him of only seeing what he wants to see. Later, Sam asked Patrick for help with a cheating spouse case, prompting him to admit he's a cheating spouse. She told him to simply let it go. Meanwhile, Robin explained the Patrick/Lisa situation to Theo, who scolded her for letting Patrick's "deranged mistress" run her life. He told her to either wallow in martyrdom or unload the cheater. At the Hub, Elizabeth was talking to Nikolas when Brook Lynn arrived, dressed to the nines. She got a job as a backup singer. Nik invited Liz to Wyndemere to decorate the tree, but when she realized Brook would be there, Liz told him to call her. Nik and Brook walked off hand in hand. Liz went to Robin and warned her to be very sure before pushing Patrick away.

A weepy Olivia flashed back to finding Johnny with Lisa. When Dante arrived, she told him she broke up with Johnny "for the last time." She mused that sometimes things don't work out. Olivia next ran into a furious Steve, who vented about Robin and Patrick and Lisa. Liv sang his praises as chief of staff, and suggested thanking him for saving her son's life twice. Dante visited Johnny to tell him he's happy he broke up with his mom. When Lisa returned, Johnny slammed the door on Dante. She gave him the meds and told him she got caught, so he needs to back up her cover story by supplying a female illegal immigrant with an infection that requires antibiotics!

In their hotel, Lucky deduced that the Balkan figured out Brenda was connected to Aleksander, and gave Ronan the photos. Lucky outlined how Brenda came to kill Aleksander. He told her about the plan to use Aleksander's body as bait. After making love, Lucky rushed out - but not before suggesting she take up a career as a spy, since she's so good at keeping secrets. As soon as he left, she called the Balkan's assistant and tipped him off to the trap.

After a flustered Michael introduced Lulu to Abby, Lulu suggested they hang out as a foursome. Michael was unsure, but Abby agreed. Michael met his father at Kelly's, and asked about relationships -- specifically Sonny and Brenda. "We got a second chance, and we're gonna take it," Sonny said. Later, Michael met Abby at Kelly's. She said it's Dante's choice whether to tell Lulu about his Brenda's fixation. Michael asked her out, and she quickly said yes. When Carly walked in, she wondered who Abby is.

Dante said Sonny talking about Brenda makes him uncomfortable. Sonny vowed not to give up on a relationship with Dante, but he'll stop pouring out his Brenda feelings. Dante wondered if Sonny will become bored with Brenda, who is "a special woman." Later, Jason told Sonny that he got a second chance with Sam and it worked, so he's not judging Sonny and Brenda. Sonny promised to clear Brenda out of town after the danger passes. Then Sonny told Brenda he has a surprise for her. Jason summoned Dante to tell him that since hit man Ronan had photos of him, the Balkan may suspect Dante in Aleksander's death. Jason noticed Dante was distracted, and Dante admitted there was something consuming all his thoughts. As Sonny and Brenda rode out into the countryside, she recalled how they used to talk about their dream house. In cue, they arrived at a furnished house that he had leased (complete with lighted candles) as "a place we can call our own."
