Monday

On the day of Sonny and Brenda's wedding, Jason was a no-show. No one knew that he was tracking The Balkan and had discovered that he was Theo. Unable to locate The Balkan, they headed back to the wedding site.

In Ireland, Lucky freed Siobhan's captive sister, Megan, and quizzed her about The Balkan. Lucky was surprised to learn that The Balkan had a wife. Lucky then told Siobhan to accompany her sister to Spain to hide out but she refused to leave him.

At The Archer Pavilion, Robin was nervous about Jason not being there to walk Brenda down the aisle. She asked Edward to fill in, but he refused to assist in marrying off Brenda to a mobster.

Lisa showed up at Johnny's command, and he told her to take off her clothes or else he'd tell Patrick what she was up to. Lisa began to strip and Johnny was disgusted. He pointed out that she was very much like his sister, Claudia: she gave her love to the wrong man and it led to her demise. Lisa didn't want to hear it, but was touched by Johnny's compassion. The kissed and fell onto the couch to have sex.

Carly managed to evade Max and Milo and showed up at the wedding, ready to expose Brenda's secret.

Jason and Sam made it to the Archer Pavilion, and Jason walked Brenda down the aisle. A seated Sam saw Shawn in the shadows and went to confront him. Shawn overpowered Sam, and Jason noticed that Sam was missing. He went to look for her and found Shawn holding Sam at gunpoint.

A beautiful Brenda stood at the altar, ready to exchange vows with Sonny but when the minister came to the "object" part, Brenda look at Carly, then objected to her own wedding, leaving Sonny stunned.

Tuesday

In Ireland, Siobhan surprised Lucky at the airport. Lucky thought she came to say good-bye but she pulled out an airline ticket to New York. However, while boarding, the ticket agent noted that Siobhan didn't have a visa to enter the U.S. Lucky spoke up and said Siobhan was a witness in a murder case and needed to make the flight. The agent made an exception and allowed Siobhan to go to the U.S. for one month only.

Jason pulled a gun on Shawn and asked him if working for The Balkan was worth dying for. Shawn released Sam and handed over his weapon. He admitted that he was hired to kidnap Brenda but not kill her. Diane entered and chastised Jason for using a firearm in her office. Jason then shocked Diane by informing her that Theo was The Balkan. Diane was furious but agreed to help Jason located Theo. Jason took Shawn back to the penthouse. "Where do we go from here?" Shawn asked.

Suzanne made Theo a martini in his cave/lair. She worried that his identity
had been discovered but Theo suggested they, "Roll with the punches." Theo
then mentioned that Sonny would be losing his bride on his wedding day.
Then, Suzanne got irate when Theo questioned his wife's loyalty.

Brenda objected to her own wedding, "Because if I don't, Carly will." Brenda
admitted that Carly had documentation proving she had a child with Dante.
Sonny got very angry very quickly. Dante grabbed the documentation from
Carly and admitted that he had lied — he had not fathered Brenda's baby.
Dante explained that Aleksander was the baby's father and he lied to protect
Brenda. Then, Brenda told Sonny that she didn't deserve him and walked back down the
aisle. Sonny called out her name and said that he
wasn't pleased she lied to him, but he still wanted to marry her. Brenda was
overjoyed. Sonny and Brenda exchanged vows and — finally! — became husband
and wife.

At G.H., Elizabeth sympathized with the mother of a sick child who wasn't
quite sure who'd fathered the baby. Later, Liz was surprised when Monica
commented that Aiden looked just like Lucky when he was a baby. Liz asked
Epiphany her opinion: she replied that Liz shouldn't walk down that road
again. Liz expressed lingering doubt about Nikolas being Aiden's father.

Theo got a call reporting that Brenda and Sonny did marry — and that it came
out that she gave birth to Theo's grandchild. Suzanne stated that she knew
Brenda was pregnant but she miscarried — and it was a boy. "Brenda took
everything," Theo spat. Suzanne vowed to get justice for their son and
headed out to the wedding. Shawn called Theo and asked to meet. Theo hung up
and realized that Shawn "had gone to the other side."

Wednesday

As Sonny kissed his new bride, Theo informed Suzanne that Jason was closing
in on him. Theo assured his wife that he'd be fine and Suzanne headed to the
Archer Pavilion. As the reception began, Lulu avoided Dante, Olivia quizzed
her son if she was really a grandmother and Jax expressed his disappointment
with Carly's actions. Edward told Brenda that if she ever needs help, she
can come to the Quartermaines. Carly told Spinelli not to feel guilty for
helping her, and joked that Sonny and Brenda still don't have a chance. Luke
congratulated the happy couple, as Lulu continued to fret over Dante.

Johnny ran into Maxie at Jake's. She mentioned that she'd been invited to
the ceremony but couldn't face Spinelli. Johnny was sympathetic. Maxie tried
to warn Johnny about getting involved with Lisa. Just then, Lisa entered and
heard Maxie badmouthing her. Lisa and Maxie started name-calling and Matt
arrived and warned Lisa that nothing bad had better happen to Maxie — or
else. Lisa was disappointed that Johnny just sat there during the exchange.
After learning that Johnny and Lisa were seeing each other, Maxie figured
out that Johnny must be blackmailing Lisa with the missing syringe. Maxie
then told Matt that he was going to help her find the item.

Back at the reception, Ethan and Kristina chatted about his marriage of
convenience, while Patrick caught Robin getting teary. They spoke about
their own nups, calling it, "the perfect day." Patrick asked Robin if she
was sorry she married him. Robin replied that she was not sorry, and
suggested they table that discussion for another time.

At the penthouse, Jason remained unconvinced as to whether he could trust
turncoat Shawn. Jason realized that he had no choice but to rely on Shawn to
help lead him to The Balkan, despite Sam's reservations.

Sonny confronted Carly about trying to derail the wedding, then actually
thanked her for allowing him to get married without any secrets. Suzanne
congratulated Brenda on the wedding; Brenda assured Suzanne that despite
everything, they're still friends. Michael was delighted that Abby showed up
after Sonny invited her. Abby said she was late because she had a job
interview — which she didn't get after she admitted that she'd worked as a
stripper. Jax told Alexis that he fears he has lost Carly for good. Sonny
and Brenda shared their first dance as husband and wife, and all the other
couples joined in.

Dante showed up at Lulu's apartment door begging for her to talk to him.
Lulu let him in — then punched him in the face.... Near the lair, Jason and
Shawn found themselves under gunfire, while at the penthouse, Sam got into
her car, only to find Theo waiting for her in the back seat.

Thursday

At Brenda and Sonny's wedding reception, Michael and Abby danced, then Molly inadvertently interrupted their
first kiss. Michael introduced Abby to Edward. When Edward asked how
they met, Molly asked Edward to foxtrot. Once alone, Michael kissed Abby on
the cheek.... Patrick pined for Robin, and Carly sincerely wished him
luck in reconciling.... Nikolas told Brook Lynn that he'd mentioned her to
his mother, Laura.... Robin gave a heartfelt toast to the happy couple....
Olivia and Steven discussed children.... Molly made a sweet toast, joined by
Michael, Morgan and Kristina. Brenda hugged and kissed the kids. Sonny then
thanked his children and professed his love for Brenda.... Tracy was still
angry with Luke for her arrest on the stolen gem charges. She walked over to
Edward and suggested they leave before someone got shot.... The bride and
groom cut the cake, then Brenda threw the bouquet. Kristina
nabbed the prize. Afterward, Ethan told Kristina she had come a long way
from the way she used to feel about Sonny. Krissy thanked Ethan for the role
he played in that. Ethan then asked her to dance. On the dance floor,
Kristina said, "I'm going to marry you someday," prompting Ethan to laugh.

"Shame on you, Miss McCall," whispered The Balkan from Sam's back seat. He
then noted that her resemblance to Brenda would now cost Sam her life.

In the Pine Barrens, Jason and Shawn were under fire from The Balkan's men.
Suddenly, the gunfire stopped and Shawn was gone. Jason returned to the town
and called Spinelli for help with finding Theo.

At her apartment, Lulu was furious that Dante lied that he had told her
everything. She tearfully revealed that she'd never be able to trust him
again. Dante acknowledged his mistake and said it wasn't too late to start
anew. He vowed to be committed to making their relationship work. "I miss
you," she said. "That's good," he smiled back. Lulu said she needed time and
Dante agreed to give it to her — but promised to fight for her until she
could trust him again. Dante left and returned to the reception.

On her way home from the reception, Carly came across an injured Shawn. He
took her hostage and demanded she take him someplace safe. Carly brought him
home and looked at his wound. She then made a call on her cell phone. Jason
picked up and heard Carly and Shawn talking. She then mentioned that Shawn
was safe at her house. Shortly after, Jason burst in and Carly screamed,
"Don't shoot him!"

On their walk home, Abby told Michael he meant a lot to her. "Where do we go
from here?" Michael asked.... Jax and Alexis went to Metro Court to
drink.... As Sonny and Brenda prepared to leave on their honeymoon, and were
pelted with rose petals, they approached the waiting limo. Sonny got Brenda
inside, then said last-minute farewells.... Michael and Abby kissed....
Alexis and Jax clinked glasses, and the limousine blew up.

Friday

Sonny and Brenda said their honeymoon farewells. Sonny put Brenda into the limo, then squeezed in last minute hugs. Suddenly, the limo blew up as
Jax and Alexis clinked champagne glasses at Metro Court. Sonny had to be restrained by Luke and Dante from running over
to the wreckage, while Patrick had to restrain a devastated Robin. Lulu
showed up, just as Sonny collapsed onto Dante's shoulder.

At her house, Carly talked Jason out of not shooting Shawn, even though
Carly, to that point, hadn't realized that Shawn was a Balkan operative.
Just then, Luke called Jason and told him what happened. Shawn said he
didn't sign on for murder. Jason left, but told Shawn if he harmed Carly,
he'd be a dead man. After, Carly kept Shawn at gunpoint but they had a
serious talk about right and wrong. He regretted compromising himself in a
way that cost a woman her life, but then ended up grabbing the gun and
pointing it at Carly.

After Michael and Abby's kiss, Abby said, "Did you hear that? It sounded like fireworks."
Then, the sirens came. Michael feared where they were headed.... At Metro
Court, Alexis and Jax talked about their lost loves Sonny and Brenda. The
duo acknowledged that at least they ended up with beautiful kids from their
ill-fated unions with Sonny and Carly.

Inside the Pavilion, Ethan tried to calm a frantic Molly, Morgan and
Kristina. He took them back to the lake house, where the kids feared the
worst. Kristina called her mother and broke the news about the bomb. Jax
guessed that Brenda was dead before Alexis could finish her sentence. At the
house, Ethan got the kids playing poker to keep their minds off what
happened. Molly was grateful for Ethan's sympathetic ear, and Krissy was
impressed with his compassion.

Back at the Pavilion, Sonny went off on the clueless limo driver.... Patrick
tried to comfort Robin, to no avail. "Is love ever enough to keep anyone
together?" she cried.... Dante was touched that Lulu came back to talk to
him.... Jason arrived and hugged Sonny.... Jax and Alexis came, too. Jax
flipped out on Sonny. Jax told Sonny that if he wanted to do the noble
thing, he'd shoot himself in the head and join Brenda.... A distraught
Edward implored Michael not to waste his life in organized
crime.... Sonny lamented to Robin that the best thing he could have done for
Brenda was to leave her alone.... Alexis returned home and Molly informed
her mother that Theo was The Balkan.... Jason didn't understand The Balkan's
motivations. Just then, he received a call from Franco, who asked if he
enjoyed the fireworks. A tuxedo-clad Franco said he had to rush off to an appointment.... Sonny and Jason demanded to see the body recovered from the limo — and were shocked to discover it was Sam.
