Sonny advised Michael to steer clear of the strip club — and Abby, pointing out that Carly suspects Abby's motives, and is desperate to protect him after the bus crash. Sonny admitted Michael is old enough to make his own choices, but he'll have Michael's back if he's needed. Meanwhile, Carly cornered Abby at Kelly's and offered to pay her to leave town, but the stripper refused. They quarreled over who really cares about Michael. "Michael can't afford one mistake, and you are a mistake," Carly charged. Abby started to leave, running into Michael, who asked his mother what she said to Abby. She admitted trying to buy off Abby, calling her a bad influence. He said lots of people call his father and Jason bad influences. And anyway, Abby understands him and is the best thing that happened to him since he woke up from the coma. He declared his intention to be Abby's friend, and if Carly tries to interfere again, he will shut his mother out. "Leave us alone!" Michael warned, and stormed out.

Jason asked Spinelli to do a background check on Theo. Diane bristled at an illegal inquiry into Theo's past, calling him the best defense attorney available (besides herself). Jason also told Spinelli he should help Brenda plan the wedding. Elsewhere, Theo warned Brenda and Dante that she is demonstrating no remorse for the "murder" she committed, suggesting she could be seen as hiding behind celebrity while he is shielded by his badge. Dante protested that Theo doesn't appear to be on their side, so Theo mockingly promised to handle Brenda with kid gloves. After Theo left, Brenda worried about saying the wrong thing. Dante pointed out Theo doesn't know about Aleksander. When Jason returned to the penthouse, Brenda asked him to give her away. He agreed, making her ecstatic. Later, a jeweler brought Sonny a selection of rings; he was looking for something "unexpected, but inevitable." He went to Brenda, who told him she got Jason to give her away. He revealed he wanted Jason to be his best man, but deferred to her. She suggested Feb. 18 for the wedding. Spinelli stuck his head in and said he has hired wedding planner Carol Chang to plan the big day. Later, Carly went to the penthouse to complain to Jason about Abby. Jason pointed out that Michael is finally reaching out to someone, but Carly is worried that she cannot help her son. Meanwhile, Abby took the stage as "Candy" — with Michael in the audience.

Lucky went to Jake's to invite Siobhan to see a band tonight. But she claimed to have other plans. He questioned her and she got angry over getting "the third degree." He mentioned that he caught her in a lie: She hasn't been speaking to her sister, Fiona. Siobhan said an old boyfriend has been calling, and she's afraid he'll do something desperate unless she talks to him tonight. Terrell and Lisa entered, and he revealed he knows her favorite drink (from back in Houston). They discussed the plan for him to seduce Robin, and what will happen when folks eventually realize they have a past connection. He reminded her of their photo on a float. When Patrick entered, Lisa immediately told him that she and Terrell have just discovered that they lived in Houston at the same time. Terrell left to prep for an operation in the morning. Patrick said he has one too, and he's booked Elizabeth, the best surgical nurse, and pointedly told Terrell, "She's not available." After Lucky left, the Balkan called Siobhan to remind her "no one is more disposable than you." Next, Dante arrived to meet with Ronnie, and asked him to look into Theo. Ronnie left when Lulu arrived. Dante told her there's "something off" about Theo. Dante suggested Brenda will go back to Rome, but Lulu pointed out she's marrying Sonny. When he doubted the wedding will happen. Lulu asked if he has feelings for Brenda. Siobhan went to Diane's office, but but found only Theo. She introduced herself and mentioned a problem with her tourist visa. Theo volunteered to arrange a work visa, pro bono. He asked why she's in town, wondering if a man is involved. Pretending not to know her, he asked if there are any questionable associates or activities or arrests in her past. Just then, Lucky arrived, and was surprised to see Siobhan with Theo.

After an appointment, Dr. Lee told Sam there's an experimental procedure that could address her fertility problems: fertility reconstruction. Sam said she and Jason aren't really in a position to be parents.
