Monday
Carly warned Sonny the wedding will bring him "nothing but pain." He insisted that she show Brenda some respect — and he wants all his children there, including Morgan. Carly suggested Brenda is hiding something, but Sonny noted, "We're all hiding something." Carly will let Morgan decide if he wants to be in the wedding. Later, Claire visited Sonny, and he told her that he and Brenda set a date. Claire acknowledged Brenda is "the love of your life."
Kristina asked Michael to come to Alli's memorial service, and he reluctantly agreed, as long as he didn't have to speak. She noted all the girls at school think he's "cute and mysterious," then they argued about Abby. Later, Brandon confronted Abby and she realized he called in the tip that got her busted. Carly was walking by and heard their conversation, and asked Abby, "You're a hooker?" Carly noted Michael is on parole, and if Abby cares about him, she'll leave him alone. Later, Abby ran into Michael at Kelly's, where she told him, "Sex pays a lot more money than just taking my clothes off. I'm a prostitute."
At G.H., Johnny told Lisa that Patrick figured out what happened with the syringe. Terrell asked to be introduced to Johnny. Johnny said he made them dinner reservations, and kissed her. Lisa assured Terrell it's not what it looks like. Meanwhile, Kelly told Sam that the experimental fertility procedure might let her carry a baby to term. Sam returned to the penthouse and looked up "fertility reconstruction." Jason returned and they worried about Michael losing control. Then Carly burst in, furious about Abby's hooking arrest.
Dante and Jason realized that Jerry is not related to Aleksander, so he's not the Balkan - meaning the real Balkan is still after Brenda. Dante told Jason that Michael saw Abby arrested on prostitution charges, and suggested she's trouble that Michael doesn't need. Elsewhere, Theo demanded that Brenda identify the "Aleksander" she just mentioned, claiming he needs to know everything that might come out on the witness stand. She recapped how she knew Aleksander, but cut him off when she found out he was in business with his criminal father. Then Aleksander stalked her, there was a fight, and, "I killed him," she admitted. Brenda said she was alone, but Theo pressed her, and she admitted her police escort was with her. Aleksander fought the cop, and she picked up his gun and shot Aleksander. "Just like when you killed Anton Banovic," Theo noted. "In both cases, I was trying to protect Dante," she said. Theo was intrigued by this. Brenda admitted she didn't check to see if Aleksander was really dead before Dante disposed of the body. Theo theorized that Aleksander could have been alive and terrified when dumped in the swamp. Dante burst in, and Theo insisted on speaking to him. Theo said Brenda described capital murder, but Dante called it self-defense. He called Aleksander a punk who spent his daddy's money and pretended to run the mob. And Brenda saved his life. Later, Brenda and Jason visited Sonny, and Jason said the wedding cannot happen because the Balkan is still alive. Sonny suggested waiting a while, but Brenda noted that won't change anything. She talked him into promising to get married on Feb. 18.
Siobhan told Lucky they're going in different directions, and "I want to quit before any real damage is done. " Lucky sensed there's more to the story, but she insisted they aren't even in a "relationship." He demanded to know what spooked her. She accused him of being on the rebound from Elizabeth. And besides, she didn't "sign up" for a cop with two kids and an ex. "Maybe it's Ronan that I want," she said. Lucky insisted this is something real, but Siobhan expressed an interest in going back to Ireland, not settling in Port Charles. He looked wounded as she walked out. Siobhan went to the confessional, where the Balkan told her the details of Aleksander's death and vowed, "Soon, I'll have my revenge." Siobhan said he'll have to do it without her, because Lucky broke up with her. Balkan told her to reconcile and be at that wedding. Her cell rang; it was her sister, being held prisoner by one of the Balkan's men. The Balkan told her to make sure the wedding never happens.
Tuesday
Carly told Jason and Sam she wanted that hooker Abby to stay away from Michael. Jason revealed that Michael almost attacked Ronnie. Sam defended her friend as good for Michael, and suggested she listen to her son for a change. Jason was unwilling to run Abby off and turn Michael against him. He suggested that Michael be allowed to make his own mistakes. Carly didn't want Michael going back to prison. Meanwhile, Abby insisted that Michael has to stop seeing her. He protested that he understands her, but she kissed him and ran out. Michael went to the penthouse, where Carly told him she knows about Abby and her clients. "I'm not your nice son," he shouted. "You don't know me." He insisted she leave, and Jason backed him up. Michael said his mom doesn't understand prison, but Jason does. Michael stalked off. Bernie called to tell Jason that Mike is on a $100,000 losing streak. Jason told Sonny, who decided Mike has to go to rehab. Sonny asked Jason to be his best man, but Jason noted he's already giving Brenda away. When Jason returned to the penthouse, Abby was waiting. She explained that she lied and told Michael she's a prostitute. Jason wanted Michael to know the truth, but Abby was reluctant. Michael went home and apologized to his mother, but emphasized that it's his life, and his decisions. Carly confessed she wants to protect him from everything, but he does need to make his own choices. He extracted a promise from her to "really try" to stay out of his relationship with Abby. Later, Jason told Sam he'd do anything for Michael, and fretted about what happened to him in prison. "You're his father, too," Sam pointed out.
Molly awoke from a bus accident flashback, and Alexis comforted her. Kristina came home, but she forgot to pick up Molly's award. Molly didn't think it was a big deal. Alexis went out to get chicken soup, and Molly asked to borrow Krissy's laptop. When she refused, Molly freaked out, screaming, "I hate you!" and broke a vase. The girls screamed at each other. When Alexis returned, the girls were eerily silent. Kristina took responsibility for the vase, and Alexis accepted it as an accident.
Theo went to the restaurant, where Sonny asked for an update on the case. Sonny instructed Theo to keep Brenda off the stand, but Theo said that's his call, noting, "All the work I've done depends on it."
Lulu confessed to Maxie that she's worried about Dante. Then Theo knocked on the door, looking for Dante. Lulu was surprised to hear Theo mention another instance when Brenda killed someone and Dante covered it up. Lulu pretended to know all about the 2007 incident. She said both were self-defense, but Theo was skeptical, and left. Dante was at the restaurant, where he vowed to change Sonny's mind about getting married on Feb. 18. Sonny pointed out Brenda wants the wedding, and there's no guarantee when the Balkan will ever be found. He promised to have extra security at the ceremony. Dante revealed that Brenda confused killing Aleksander and Banovic. Dante returned to the loft, where Lulu recapped about Theo's visit — and the 2007 coverup. Dante explained, "I had to protect her." Lulu was devastated at the series of lies: He not only knew Brenda, he knew her well, and has been covering up a death for her. She wondered what else he is hiding. He claimed it wasn't his secret to tell. Lulu ranted that she had defied all the warnings that he would be a liar just like his father. And now she sees he is a liar. "I can't trust you," she wailed. "This is done." And she stormed out.
Wednesday
There was no new episode today. Tune in tomorrow!
Thursday
Sonny had a dream about marrying Brenda that turned into a nightmare when she disappeared from the altar, and he awoke with a start, aiming a gun at the real Brenda. Later, he expressed concern about her safety at the wedding, but Brenda wouldn't hear of it. She said wedding planner Carol Chang has a crush on him. And she picked out a dress. He liked seeing her happy. Sonny went to his office, where Claire had forms for him to sign. He said he feels bad about her being around Brenda and mentioned that Jason wants him to postpone, but neither he nor Brenda want to. Theo told Dante he's not optimistic about getting a postponement. Diane was upset that Claire hand-delivered papers to Sonny. She explained the relationship to Theo. Later, Theo visited Sonny to suggest taking on Claire as co-counsel in Brenda's wrongful-death case. Later, Sonny made arrangements to get Mike into treatment for gambling. Alone, Theo called...someone, and asked, "Would you feel squeamish about abducting a bride on her wedding day?"
Nikolas invited Brook Lynn to dinner in Manhattan — as a real date. She agreed, and they kissed. Later, Elizabeth dropped by, and the women traded insults; Liz was surprised that Brook hasn't slept with Nik yet. Then Nikolas returned from riding. Liz said she made a doctor's appointment for Aiden, and Nik immediately volunteered to go along.
At Crimson, Maxie confronted Lulu about running out on Dante.Back at the loft, Dante told Michael that Lulu found out about his past with Brenda, and doesn't trust him anymore. "Brenda is three-quarters fantasy," Dante said. "Lulu is the real thing" and he will always love her. Lulu said Dante was keeping secrets. Maxie said people screw up all the time, and she's going to miss Dante. Lulu said he lied when he was undercover, and then promised to never lie again. But he did. Lulu thinks sticking with him sets her up for more pain. Dante cared for Brenda so much that he put his job on the line for her. Lulu insisted she fell in love with the man she wanted Dante to be. Maxie suggested forgiving him, and wondered if Lulu believes all Spencers are doomed in love? Dante felt bad for making Lulu doubt her own instincts. He admitted it was wrong to keep secrets, but he made promises to Brenda. He vowed to get Lulu back. Lulu returned to collect her things, and snapped at Dante. He said he wanted to tell the truth, but he made a promise before they ever met, and it ate away at him. He offered to prove he's trustworthy. "I don't believe you," she said, and stalked out.
At the lake house, Molly was researching bipolar disorder when Sam arrived. She told Sam she's doing research for a report. Molly asked Sam if, when she was pregnant with Sonny's baby, she was worried her baby would be bipolar, too. Sam said she would have loved her daughter, no matter what. Molly said she would have been a great mother. Sam said it's hard for any parent to see a child suffer. Is that why she and Jason don't get married and have kids? Yes, Sam replied. Later, Molly visited Sonny to interview him about being bipolar. He admitted he hurt a lot of friends and family before seeking help. He cited mood swings, quick rage, feeling depressed and controlled by his feelings. "In my heart, I knew something was really wrong," he said.
At the Hub, Robin fretted about cutbacks at the AIDS wing. Then Carol approached her, looking disappointed at Robin's complexion. Robin went to Brenda and told her about Carol. Brenda laughed about how rude Carol is. Robin wished Stone could see her get married. She also asked Brenda to communicate with Sonny; don't make the mistakes she made with Patrick. Robin called Terrell smart and cute and funny. And he understands AIDS. Carol burst in, and Brenda defended Robin's skin coloring. Carol suggested finding another matron of honor, who matches the color scheme. Back at G.H., Lisa pressured Terrell to turn up the heat on Robin. Terrell volunteered to help in the AIDS wing. Later, Dante told Brenda that Theo told Lulu about the killing. Brenda was apologetic, but Dante insisted he doesn't blame her. She offered to do anything to make it right. "Postpone your wedding," Dante suggested.
Friday
Terrell noted he has nothing better to do than help in the AIDS wing, as Lisa needled Patrick about Robin bonding with the new doc. Patrick claimed he's not jealous. Terrell suggested a fund-raiser for the wing... and they should meet for drinks to discuss it. Matt arrived and told Patrick that women have a soft spot for doctors who fix sick kids. Then Robin praised Terrell for solving the AIDS wing problem. At Wyndemere, Brook Lynn suggested that Elizabeth is making up Aiden's ear problem to ruin his date with Brook. Nik insisted his son comes first, so the date is canceled. Later, at G.H., Terrell told Liz and Nik that Aiden doesn't have an ear infection, but he is cutting a tooth. Elizabeth said she doesn't want Nikolas to miss out on Aiden growing up, and suggested he tuck his son in tonight. Meanwhile, Robin got a sitter for Emma, so she can have a drink with Terrell. Later, Matt took his brother to Jake's to relax, but Terrell and Robin were there, playing darts. Nikolas returned to Wyndemere, and admitted to Brook that Liz is using Aiden to manipulate him.
Molly told Sonny she's worried because bipolar disorder runs in families. Sonny said if she's like him, she can get help. He suggested talking to someone instead of bottling up her dark feelings. Molly turned the conversation to the happy topic of his wedding. Later on, Molly saw a terrible traffic accident and flashed back to the bus crash.
Brenda checked that Dante didn't tell Lulu about the baby. He reminded her that he promised not to say anything unless she does. She decided to leave the baby "in the past" and move on. So he left. At Crimson, Lulu insisted Dante still has feelings for Brenda. Maxie pointed out that most men fall for Brenda, so Dante can't be blamed. And besides, cops will do anything "to serve and protect." Brenda arrived, and tried to convince Lulu that everything is her fault. Brenda asked Lulu not to punish Dante for protecting her. Lulu was aghast at Brenda inserting herself into Dante's life, and had no intention of listening to Brenda compliment Dante. At Jake's, Lucky wanted to talk to Siobhan about how the Balkan is still a threat to her, but she brushed him (and the Balkan) off. Then she got a call and rushed out. Dante arrived and filled in Lucky about Lulu dumping him. Lucky shared that Siobhan has broken up with him. They commiserated over not being able to protect the people in their lives. Dante admitted it was wrong to lie. Lucky saw it as protecting his sister, and pointed out Lulu is acting out based on her (family and romantic) history. He advised Dante to "show her why you're worth the risk." Siobhan met with one of the Balkan's men, who let her talk to her sister Megan, who begged her to cooperate. As Siobhan struggled for the phone to talk longer, Lucky chanced upon them. Siobhan lunged for Lucky, and the goon escaped.
Carly applauded Claire for positioning herself perfectly to wrangle Sonny on the rebound: "That marriage is gonna be over before it starts," Carly sniped. Later, Claire answered Sonny's summons, and he asked her to defend Brenda and Dante in the wrongful-death suit as co-counsel with Theo. Claire agreed, calling it a wedding present. When Brenda arrived at Sonny's office, he told her Claire is on the team. Sonny told Brenda he has to take Mike to gambling rehab but added, "Nothing's gonna stop me from marrying you." At Metro Court, Diane brought Carly legal proof that Dante surrendered his parental rights to Brenda's baby. Carly chortled with glee, and resolved to tell Sonny on the day of his wedding -- right in the middle of the ceremony, so that Dante and Brenda are exposed as liars in front of everyone. Dante arrived, and hid to eavesdrop as Carly outlined her plan to "protect Sonny from himself." Diane agreed to remain silent, and left. Dante approached Carly and warned her not to try to use her proof...
