GH Week of July 26, 2010
Monday
At Franco's exhibit in L.A., Jason chased Franco to the top of a building. Franco stated that he knows where the baby is, then fell over the landing. Everyone eyed his lifeless body; Dante and Lulu looked up to where a shocked Jason was standing. The crowd didn't seem to believe that it was for real and called the "show" brilliant. Jason joined them downstairs and insisted that Franco jumped. The cops were set to arrest Jason, but Dante insisted on taking Morgan back to Port Charles. The cops agreed and handed Jason back to Dante. Jason then held a gun on Dante and blamed Dante for Michael having gone to jail. "Why shouldn't I kill you right now?" Jason asked. Dante replied that Jason would have to go on the run after killing a cop, but Morgan didn't care. Dante reminded him that it would affect Michael if he were murdered. "This isn't about you and me!" Dante cried. "What do you think happens to Michael if you kill me?"
Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Nikolas panicked as they watched the show from the hospital. Lucky reminded them that Franco had said that things weren't what they seemed — and that Aidan could still be at the hospital. He believed that someone else knew of the baby's whereabouts. Nik thanked Lucky for helping them search for Aidan. Later, they searched through records and found a "Jane Morgan" listed in the neo-natal unit. Liz wondered if this was a real person; Lucky planned to have Jane paged, but the woman didn't answer. Liz feared that the woman took the baby out of the country.
Diane stopped by Sonny's office and questioned him about a series of e-mails he'd sent about Michael's community service. He explained that Michael had been injured, but his son wanted him to stay out of it. He didn't know whether he should butt out or get involved. Max arrived with a laptop, which Diane believed was a gift from Sonny to Claire. After, they discussed Jason. Diane believed that he'd kill Dante, but Sonny didn't think that his right-hand man would do that. Diane then warned him to watch his back when it came to dealing with Claire. After, Carly called and told Sonny about the shooting at the hospital, and how Michael had saved Kristina's life. He wanted to speak to Kristina, but she was still shaken up. Michael assured his father that they were all okay, but revealed that someone had swiped a baby and the hospital was on lockdown. Sonny called Alexis to his office and told her about the shooting. Alexis was horrified, especially when she heard that Mac was hurt. She blamed herself for almost getting Kristina killed. She broke down, but Sonny reminded her that this was Warren Bauer's fault.... A tearful Kristina relayed to Carly how Lucky wouldn't arrest Bauer, which had made him angry. She thanked her brother for saving her life and didn't understand how Michael could stay so calm. Carly noted that everyone handles stress differently.
At the hospital, Maxie and Robin anxiously awaited for word on Mac's condition as he underwent surgery for his bullet wound. Robin recalled how Mac hadn't wanted her to date Stone. Maxie noted that she'd also let Mac down, but he'd never turned his back on her. They tried to keep their thoughts positive.... Steven informed Maya that Ethan would recover. She regretted that she froze from panic during the shooting and had been unable to help him. Ethan stirred and Maya told him how sorry she was. He awoke and was happy to see her. He recalled getting shot by Bauer. Maya told him that he's lucky to be alive, then confessed that she'd almost let him die. Ethan didn't want her to be so hard on herself.
Meanwhile, Patrick and Matt worked on Matt. They were determined not to mess it up, for Maxie and Robin's sakes. Maxie asked Robin to check on Mac, but Robin wasn't ready to do so. Lisa joined them and told them that Ethan was doing well. She offered to check on Mac for Robin, but Maxie demanded that Lisa stay away from their family and called Lisa a "homewrecker." Robin asked if something had happened with Lisa; Maxie warned her that Lisa had a thing for Patrick. Robin refused to let Lisa make her paranoid and declared her love for her husband. Maxie remembered how Mac had locked Robin and Patrick together until they'd agreed to get married. Just then, Matt and Patrick joined them and shared that Mac's life had been saved.
Steven thanked Olivia for helping him save Ethan's life. Liv invited Steve for a drink when he was done with his shift.
Diane and Max snuggled on the docks. Claire ran into them and Diane teased her about being involved with Sonny. Claire denied it, but Diane stated that Claire is Sonny's conquest. Diane correctly concluded that Claire was on her way to Sonny's office right then. "You have no hope of outmaneuvering him," Diane cracked. "Please use birth control." Later, Claire arrived and found Sonny comforting Alexis.
Maxie thanked Matt for saving Mac by dragging Matt into a supply closet and kissing him.... Robin visited an unconscious Mac and told her uncle that he doesn't get to scare her. She reminded him that she needs him.... Lisa approached Patrick and suggested that they tell Robin about their relationship. "We don't have a relationship," he snapped. "Yes, we do," she argued.
Tuesday
In Barcelona, Jax and Skye discussed where Lorenzo's funds could be. They planned to pretend that they were together in order to arrange for Skye to get access. Soon, the Contessa Fernanda came by their room and Jax flirted with her while Skye pretended to be annoyed. After, Jax and Fernanda discussed business ventures. She was about to check the numbers on her computer, but Jax suggested that they enjoy some champagne first and invited her out for a drink at a bar. Meanwhile, Skye logged onto the computer, but was interrupted by a security guard, who accused her of being a robber. Skye pretended to cry that she needed money for herself and her daughter. She showed him a photo of her little girl and explained that it's just the two of them now that Lorenzo is gone. The guard called Fernanda a hateful woman and left Skye alone to continue searching on the computer. Later, Jax and Fernanda returned from their night out and Jax poured yet another drink for the woman. Fernanda wanted to sleep with him, but Jax stalled her. Skye interrupted them, pretending to be angry, and demanded that Fernanda leave. She wanted to do business with him, but Jax objected, claiming he was afraid of tempting fate by being with her. Fernanda left and Skye happily told him that her mission went well. They kissed.
At the hospital, Patrick reminded Lisa that they are not a couple, despite spending one night together. Lisa became angry. Robin interrupted and concluded that the conversation was about Lisa sleeping with Patrick. However, a clueless Robin suspected that Lisa was only talking about wanting to be with Patrick and warned Lisa to stay away from him. "My husband would never cheat on me," Robin declared. Lisa sarcastically replied that Robin was lucky to be with someone so loyal; Robin called Lisa crazy. Later, Patrick apologized for Lisa, but Robin didn't blame him. She suggested that they not give Lisa any power over them; Patrick replied that he doesn't deserve her. Lisa watched as they smooched.
Maxie and Matt kissed passionately in the hospital supply closet. Matt pulled away for a moment, but she refused to let him talk and kept smooching him. Later, Michael found Maxie pacing in the hallway and she revealed that she'd had sex. She rambled about how she wasn't sure that was a good decision. Michael listened patiently as she went on about how much she regretted having slept with Franco — and Michael thought back to being accosted by Carter when he was in jail. Michael suddenly asked her to stop talking, noting that talking about it makes it worse. They both apologized to each other. Michael noted that Mac saved his life during the shooting. Maxie credited Matt for saving Mac's life and revealed that Matt was the man she'd just been with. She asked Michael if he thought it was okay to sleep with someone out of gratitude; Michael suggested that she stop thinking so much and just be. She thanked him for being such a good listener.
Ethan awoke from a nap and was pleased to see Maya sitting with him. She wondered if she has what it takes to be a doctor, but he was sure that she did. He reminded her that he didn't die.... Kristina, Carly and Michael visited Ethan and were glad to see that he was okay. Kris told him that if Bauer had killed him because of her, she wouldn't have been able to deal. Ethan joked that Kris and Maya should start a club since they both think that him being hurt is her fault. Later, everyone else left and Kristina sat with Ethan. Carly sat with Michael and admitted that she misses Jax. Michael urged her to simply ask Jax to take her back and try to make their marriage work. Carly didn't think that it was that easy.
Claire went to Sonny's office and found Sonny comforting Alexis. Claire was about to leave, but Sonny asked her to stay. He told her about Mac shooting and killing Bauer. Claire wondered how Alexis was holding it together; Alexis cracked that she's had a lot of practice. Claire mused that it would be difficult to have a child with Sonny. Alexis noted that it was ironic that Kristina had almost gotten killed because of her. Claire told Alexis not to be hard on herself, but called Sonny a monster. Sonny was offended. Alexis left and Sonny asked Claire if this was going to be a day when she hated him. Claire replied that she doesn't have to like him to take what she needs from him. "I want a baby," Claire announced, explaining that she'd like him to be a sperm donor, though she would raise the kid on her own. Sonny thought that she was joking, but she was serious. Sonny was willing to sleep with her, but didn't want to get her pregnant. Later, he gave her his gift, but she didn't want anything from him other than a baby. She left, but Sonny was certain that she'd be back.
Steven informed Elizabeth and Nikolas of Warren Bauer's shooting. Liz feared that they'd never find Aidan, but Nikolas had hope that they would. Steve said that he didn't find anything unusual in Jane Morgan's file, but Liz was certain that the name Jane Morgan was a sign from Franco. She became hysterical as she thought of all of the things that could've happened to the baby. Later, Nik sat with Liz as she went to sleep. He promised that they'd see their son again and believed that Shirley's spirit was watching over them.
Maxie stayed with an unconscious Mac. He stirred and mumbled her name and she told him that he was going to make a full recovery. Matt joined her and repeated that Mac's prognosis was excellent. Maxie thanked the doc and wanted to find another way to show him how grateful she is.
Wednesday
Robin thanked Patrick for saving Mac, but Patrick gave Matt the credit. After, Lisa came by and took a sip of his coffee, cooing that she could taste him on the cup. Patrick brushed her off, but Lisa wouldn't let up. "I have seen aspects of you that no woman, including Robin, has ever seen," she said. Patrick didn't want to hear it and reminded her that he has a family. When he stepped away to take a call, she took another sip from his cup.
Brook Lynn visited Mike and ordered some coffee. Johnny arrived to get some food and Mike warned him not to use his granddaughter, Kristina, against his son. Brook followed Johnny out and asked why he hated Sonny so much. Johnny recalled how Sonny had accused him of shooting Kate and locked him in an abandoned mental hospital and how Claudia was responsible for Michael getting shot. "It all snowballed," he sighed. Brook was sorry for the loss of his sister. Johnny noted that Sonny used Claudia, which had destroyed her. He wondered why Brook wasn't fleeing, but she just smiled at him. She noted that Sonny has always been good to her, but was intrigued by how passionate and stubborn Johnny was.
Lulu and Dante enjoyed spending time together after returning from L.A. She asked him to not have so many close calls. He responded by kissing her and they hit the sheets. Later, Ronnie barged in and asked why Jason wasn't in jail -- and accused Dante of helping Jason escape in order to help out Sonny. He warned that Dante was losing his moral compass. Later, Lulu wondered if Jason would really try to escape.... Dante came upon Johnny and Brook and asked him to stay away from Brook.
Nikolas tried to keep Elizabeth calm. Lucky stopped by her room and sadly said that he hadn't found Aidan. Nik was angry that Jason had killed Franco since Franco was the only one who knew where the baby was. He wanted to get more information on Jane Morgan, but Lucky believed that the child was in the hospital. Nik wanted to ask for a reward for the baby's return, but Lucky didn't think it was a good idea. Steven arrived and said that he's doing whatever he can to find the baby, but asked the lockdown to be lifted so patients could be treated. Lucky argued that the kidnapper could escape with Aiden if they opened the doors too soon. Steven asked for a compromise and Lucky agreed to let a limited number of people in.
Jason returned home and informed Sam that Franco is dead and that he's going to jail. Sam wanted to enjoy the time they had together. Jason told her about Franco's art show and how Franco kept doing things to push his buttons; he then revealed that he chased Franco up onto the roof, where Franco jumped. Sam believed that Jason didn't push him. They kissed, but were interrupted by Spinelli. Spin explained that he had a way to set Jason free and had figured out how to disable the lock on Jason's ankle monitor. Sam was thrilled, but Jason didn't want to run and leave their loved ones behind. "I made a choice and I need to live with it," he explained. Sam didn't understand why he'd turn down a chance at freedom. She became hysterical as she pleaded with him to leave with her.
Michael had a nightmare about Carter harassing him in prison. Carly woke him up and assured him that it was just a dream. He explained that being in lockdown in the hospital reminded him of being in jail. Carly shared that she was once in a mental hospital and it had been hell for her, but she found someone to speak to who helped her. She suggested that he confide in her or Jason. Kristina returned after visiting Ethan and Carly left her alone with Michael. Kris confided that she's been having nightmares and Michael promised to be there for her. Carly returned and Kristina went to see Ethan again. Michael told his mother that Kristina's really messed up. Carly later admitted to missing Jax, but realized that he was going to move on.
Steven addressed the doctors and asked them to keep an eye out for anything that might lead them to the baby. Robin felt badly for Steve, Liz and Nikolas being under so much stress. She then told Patrick that he's a great dad and husband.... Lucky suspected that the person who took the baby was hiding in plain sight. Later, Liz freaked out and blamed Steven for allowing the baby to be taken. Lucky found Aiden's ID bracelet.
Patrick was paged to a room, but when he arrived, he found a scantily-clad Lisa waiting for him. He demanded that she stop what she's doing. "Or what?" she challenged, pulling him toward the bed. Patrick pushed her away and she became infuriated.
Thursday
Sam pleaded with Jason to leave town with her instead of going to jail, but he didn't want to go anywhere. "I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I wish things could be different, but they're too late to change." He asked Sam to wait for him, but understood if she couldn’t. She promised to be there for him and wanted to make the best of their last hours together. She then asked him to play Dominoes with her.
Dante came upon Johnny hanging out with Brook Lynn and warned Brook that Johnny is trouble. Johnny accused Dante of lying to protect Sonny; Dante retorted that Johnny doesn't care about justice and just wants to get back at Corinthos. He warned Brook that Johnny is using her and offered to take her home. She reluctantly left with Dante for his place and he warned her not to get involved with Johnny. Brook asked why he cared so much and wondered if he wanted her. Lulu overheard and asked what was going on. Brook complained about Dante and asked him to back off. Later, Lulu noted that Brook was right and he did sound like a jealous boyfriend. Dante assured Lulu that she has nothing to worry about and they kissed. Lulu wanted to do more, but Dante had to go to the station to do paperwork — and then take Jason prisoner.
Olivia went to get coffee at Kelly's and spied Johnny outside. She walked right by his table, so he asked her if everything was okay and she told him about the shootout at the hospital. Johnny was horrified, but proud of her for helping to save Ethan's life. She noted that Bauer's mind snapped because of a revenge obsession. Johnny didn't like being compared to Bauer, but Liv feared that he'd lose control over his war with Sonny. "I'm trying to save you from yourself because I love you," she said. "Can you love me the way I am?" he asked.
At the hospital, Elizabeth blamed Steven for Aiden's disappearance. Lucky and Nikolas found Aiden's security monitor bracelet and sadly noted that there was no way to tell how long the baby had been gone. Liz crumpled in despair. Lucky said that they have some leads and promised to do whatever he could to find him. Nik tried to calm Liz and vowed to find their son. Later, Liz fell asleep and Nik spoke with Steven. Steven apologized for losing Aiden, but Nikolas told him not to blame himself. Nikolas brought up the idea of offering a reward again and Steven agreed that they didn't seem to have any other options.
Patrick was paged to a patient's room, but found a scantily-clad Lisa in there instead. She came on to him, but he pushed her away; she angrily called Robin "frigid" and "snippy." Patrick told her to back off and noted that when he'd slept with her, he was drunk. He stormed out of the room, leaving Lisa angry. Later, Lisa followed him around and he asked her to leave him alone. She stated that she's entitled to her feelings, too, and wanted to discuss things. He agreed to meet with her at Jake's.
Sonny and Alexis eagerly went to pick up Kristina and Michael from the hospital. Carly, Kris and Michael filled them in on what had happened with Mr. Bauer and Kristina called Michael "amazing" for saving her life. Alexis took a shaken Kristina for a soda and blamed herself. Kristina replied that it wasn't her fault, and that Bauer was crazy. When Kris went to get her drink, Carly told Alexis that Kristina is overwhelmed and is blaming herself for Ethan getting shot. Alexis was grateful that Carly and Michael had been with her... Sonny warned Michael that now that Michael is out of jail, he needs to be a lot more careful about getting into fights. Michael explained that he was doing what Jason taught him. Later, Sonny and Alexis discussed Kristina. Sonny believed that Bauer's death had brought some closure for their daughter. Alexis wasn't so sure, but Sonny explained that Kristina now had some perspective. He hoped that he could have a relationship with his daughter. Alexis wanted them to have a relationship, as well.... Kris and Michael visited Mike, who was thrilled that they were okay. Mike reminded them how much Sonny loves them.
In Barcelona, Skye and Jax bonded as they discussed their past mistakes. He told her that much as he enjoyed helping her get Lorenzo's money, he had a life with Carly back in Port Charles. A disappointed Skye understood that he wanted to try to make his marriage work. Later, they went sightseeing and Skye declared that their day had been "magical."
Lucky informed Steve and Nikolas that he did some checking on Jane Morgan and found that her car was still in the parking lot. He suspected that she could still be in the hospital. Later, Lucky found a dead woman in a hospital room, who was listed as Jane.
Dante went to the station and found that Ronnie had taken his files. He accused Ronnie of trying to undermine him.... Jason and Sam had fun playing Dominoes until they heard a knock on the door. Sam asked for one last kiss, then Jason opened the door. Dante entered and said that they received an autopsy report from L.A. — and that the body scraped off the pavement wasn't Franco's.
Franco paid his mom a visit — and brought her the baby.
Friday
Lucky found a dead woman in the hospital whose nametag said "Jane Morgan.".... Dante informed Jason and Sam that the body that fell to the ground at Franco's show wasn't Franco's. Jason recalled that Franco was 20 or 30 seconds ahead of him before he "jumped." Dante said that Jason wasn't going back to prison yet since Franco was still out there.
Franco brought baby Aiden to his mother. "Bobby, what have you done?" she asked.... Nikolas again promised Elizabeth that they'd find their son. Lucky informed them that Jane was dead and Liz freaked out. Lucky believed that she was killed when she handed off the baby -- which had probably occured before the lockdown began. Lucky gave Liz the baby's ID tag, which had the number 66 on it. The guys planned to put out a reward; Liz couldn't understand why they'd allowed Franco to get a 24-hour lead on them..... Franco wanted to give the baby to his mother so she wouldn't be lonely, but she didn't think it was right. But when he placed Aiden in his mom's arms, her motherly instinct took over.
Alexis feared that the incident with Bauer would further scar Kristina, but Sonny believed that their daughter had turned a corner and was going to be even stronger. He wished that Kris could see that he can be a good father. Alexis noted that Kristina is afraid that she'll get disappointed by him.... Kristina and Michael hung out at Kelly's. She believed that Sonny favored Dante over Michael; Michael believed that she was just looking for reasons to be angry with their dad. Kristina called Sam and asked if they could meet. Sam met her at Kelly's and Kristina told her about the shooting -- and how Sonny had lectured Michael about fighting. Kris called Sonny a hyprocrite, but Sam pointed out that her sister was sounding a lot like Sonny, given how well he can hold a grudge. Sam also noted that her sister is blaming Sonny for all of her problems. "I just want you to focus on yourself," Sam said, "because if you spend your entire time holding a grudge against your father, you're not going to be happy."
Jax returned home and was thrown a surprise party by Carly, Morgan and Josslyn. He was thrilled to be back with his family. Carly asked how things went with Skye and he reported that they went well. They played a board game together and Morgan asked Jax to tell them about Barcelona. He relayed how he'd charmed Fernanada while Skye broke into her accounts. Carly was visibly upset as he spoke about the other women. Later, Carly asked Jax if he slept with Skye.
Johnny visited Ethan at the hospital and joked about Ethan getting shot in a presumably safe place. They discussed Maya and Ethan said that getting to see her was the only good thing about being in the hospital. He noted that Olivia had helped save his life and stated that Johnny let a good woman get away. Later, they talked about Sonny and Johnny vowed revenge.
Sonny ran into Claire at Metro Court and asked her to celebrate with him since Kristina was alive and Michael had saved her life. Claire replied that all she wants from him is sex so she could have his baby. Olivia overheard and asked if Claire was out of her mind. Liv then shared that she'd raised her child as a single, teenage mother just to keep him away from Sonny. Claire replied that she wants a beautiful, intelligent child with no connection to Sonny. Sonny again told her that he doesn't want any more children and believed that Claire was using this as an excuse to get close to him. Claire answered that if he won't give her a baby, then she wants nothing to do with him.... Johnny ran into Liv and again said that she can't change his plans for Sonny. They watched as Sonny tried to flirt with Claire. Johnny approached them and announced that he'd sent Claire footage of Sonny involved in a "shipment."
Michael visited Jason and filled him in on the shooting. Michael admitted that he was in the hospital for so long, he started to feel like he was in prison. Jason told him about Franco's exhibit in L.A. and that Franco was the one who'd sent Carter after Michael. Michael admitted that he was about to kill Bauer. "You don't have to let the anger take over," Jason advised. "You can find a way to control it."
Kristina visited Ethan again and brought some cards with her.... Sam told Alexis how angry Kristina is with Sonny. They agreed that the teen is really angry with Kiefer and is misdirecting it -- and that Kristina and Sonny are a lot alike.
Lucky and Dante discussed Franco and concluded that he'd been planning to get a baby all along. They wondered why he'd want a child. They went to see Jason and Dante suggested that they question Franco's mother. Jason believed that Franco wanted the baby for himself.
Franco's mom fed the baby, but still wasn't sure that she could keep him. Franco said that he went to a lot of trouble to get him, and wanted to make up for being a difficult son. She replied that he wasn't difficult, just gifted. Franco told her that he has to go away for a while, which is also why he wanted her to have the baby. She suspected that he was in trouble again. "I'll never be the son that you deserve, so I wanted to give you the son who will be," he explained. He lied that the baby's parents gave him up in a private adoption and he had a lawyer take care of all the paperwork. "All you have to do is say yes and the baby's yours," he said.
