GH Week of July 5, 2010

Monday

Today's episode is a rebroadcast of the Jan. 29 episode — Dante tries to arrest Sonny — who shoots him.

Tuesday

Lisa and Patrick tore off their clothes and had sex. Immediately after it was over, Patrick cursed himself for acting stupidly. "I love Robin," he moaned. "It's not the end of the world," Lisa replied. "There won't be any consequences." Still, he left immediately, going straight to G.H.

At Metro Court, Skye met Jax, who was working on his adoption papers for Morgan -- and divorce papers, which he isn't happy about. Skye was intrigued that he wants to save his marriage, pointing out that Carly will forever be tied to Sonny. "Carly does not deserve you," she said, citing Jason as a permanent fixture in Carly's life. When he said he really wants Carly back, Skye noticed Carly lurking, and advised him to kiss her -- and look like he means it!

Kristina agreed with Johnny that her plan got away from her, and they agreed to abandon it. He hit his remote unlock just as Sonny arrived, calling out to Kristina. Johnny noticed something amiss and tried to push Krissy to safety just as the car exploded! Back at the lake house, Alexis asked Michael if Kristina has talked to him about Johnny. Molly suggested that Kristina is just pretending to date Johnny. At the garage, Sonny rushed to help the confused Kristina. When the EMT's arrived, Johnny accused Sonny of planting a bomb, but Sonny blamed Johnny's other enemies. Police officers stopped Sonny from accompanying Krissy to G.H. Mac questioned Sonny, who said Johnny has been preying on Kristina. Sonny cited his history and pointed out it's not his style to put a bomb in a car -- that's the M.O. of the Lopez brothers. Kristina was brought to GH, where she credited Johnny with saving her life. Epiphany alerted Alexis to the explosion. When she arrived, Patrick filled them in, and Alexis barred Sonny from Kristina's room. When Johnny walked up, Alexis slapped him. "What the hell were you thinking?" Steve told Patrick that Shirley is fine, calling Lisa his "partner-in-crime." Lisa noted that they had celebrated with a drink. Then Steve told Krissy's family that she will be okay. Back at the crime scene, Mac told Ronnie about Lily dying in a car bomb. Meanwhile, Sonny told Max what happened. Michael overhead as Sonny demanded that no one be able to trace the bomb back to him. Max left, and Michael entered: "I heard what you did, Dad," he said. Alexis entered his office and demanded: "Did you plant that bomb?" Patrick went home to find Robin back from her trip early!

In Woodstock, N.Y., Karen Anderson denied having a son -- or knowing "the artist known as Franco." Dante and Jason explained that Franco used to be called "Robert Frank." She poured Dante some tea while Jason quickly searched the place. Dante recounted Franco's career from petty criminal to world-famous artist, and noted that "Karen Frank" changed her name to "Karen Anderson" and moved to Woodstock. She suggested that in an alternate universe, an alternate Karen Anderson has a troubled son, and sent them packing. Meanwhile, the artist himself was in Port Charles, telling Maxie he's a fan of the number 66 (which "sounds dirty"). The roses are his apology for any trouble he caused. He called the crime-scene photo a gift, noting that people who own a photograph of death like to think they have control over it, but they're wrong. He said the photo is real, whether or not what it depicts really happened, adding, "What I am, is what you make me." He kissed her hand and told her to "Say hi to Jason," then left. Maxie returned to the penthouse, where Spinellli suggested some romantic time. Maxie balked, citing the hunt for Franco and need to help Jason. When Dante and Jason returned, they reported failure finding Franco. Then Maxie blurted out, "I just saw him!" Back in Woodstock, Franco appeared in Karen's home. "Hi Mom," he said, noting he brought her herbs, including something to ward off vampires. "Bobby," she asked. "What have you done now?"

Wednesday

Robin was thrilled to be home with Patrick and Emma after being away. She admitted that she was afraid she'd come home and Emma wouldn't know her. Robin wondered why her husband was being so quiet and asked what was going on. He declared his love for her; she apologized for shutting him out. Patrick, thinking of Lisa, replied that he was the one who should ask for forgiveness. She wondered why; he replied that he was selfish when Robin was away helping to save the world. She regretted leaving the way she had and promised to never take their family for granted again. Later, they snuggled and Robin thanked him for his support. Patrick promised to never stop loving her.

Maxie informed Spinelli, Jason and Dante that she saw Franco -- that he'd sent her dozens of roses, 66 specifically. She added that Franco had asked her to "Tell Jason, 'Hi.' " She blamed herself for letting Franco into her life. Spin was freaked out by the thought that she could've been killed. Jason blamed himself for Franco being in their lives.

Meanwhile, Franco went to see his mom (who called him Bobby). She asked if he's really done all of the terrible things she's heard about and if he's really obsessed with death. He replied that he is obsessed with death because it's a part of his art and that he's scrutinized because he's in the public eye. His mom worried about him. He promised that the cops wouldn't approach her again and that it would "be over soon." "What have you done, Bobby?" she asked. He didn't answer her, but put on his coat and told her that he loves her, as he prepared to leave.

Alexis asked Sonny if he'd tried to kill Johnny. Sonny denied putting a bomb in his car, but Alexis didn't buy it. "Our daughter almost died tonight and we have to make sure it doesn't happen again," Sonny stated. Alexis stormed out. Sonny asked Michael if he understood why he'd lied about the bomb. Michael warned that Alexis would never let Sonny see Kristina again if she found out; Sonny explained that Johnny keeps pushing him and needed to be stopped.

Carly ran into a cozy Skye and Jax at Metro Court and wasn't pleased. After, Carly yelled at Olivia about a problem with the plumbing. Liv correctly concluded that Carly was really bugged about Skye. Later, she and Jax had a civil conversation about their impending divorce. Jax planned to get the ball rolling on their divorce. "I just want what you want," he told her.

Spinelli went online to do research on the roses and the significance of the number 66. Dante prepared to get the flowers from Maxie's office. She shared that Franco went on about what was real and not real, and had asked about her and Spinelli. Spin was horrified and thought that she'd be safer with Dante. After, Maxie and Dante informed Lulu about Franco's appearance and the flowers. Maxie hoped that Jason would soon kill Franco. Lulu was afraid for all of their lives, now that Franco was back.

Alexis went to see Kristina at the hospital, where she was with Sam and Molly. Mac arrived to question the teen.... Sonny held a glass, his hand shaking. He trembled as he threw the glass and it shattered against the wall. Claire interrupted and asked if he was feeling lousy about nearly killing his daughter. Sonny lied that he's angry with himself for a lot of reasons. "The real problem here is Johnny Zacchara," he stated. "If I didn't know better, I'd almost believe you," Claire shot back. Sonny insisted that he's innocent and assured her that she'd never find proof linking him to the bomb. Later, Olivia asked if he put the bomb in the car, but Sonny denied it. Liv called him a "gifted liar" and implored him to be honest with her. She again asked if he planted the bomb in Johnny's car. He again said that he hadn't. Liv demanded that he swear on Dante's life that he's innocent. Sonny looked her in the eyes and swore.

Johnny called Olivia and told her that Sonny tried to kill him.... Kristina informed Mac that she's been spending time with Johnny. Mac asked if Johnny has ever discussed his business with her, but she denied it. Kris noted that Sonny hates the fact that she's been with Johnny and that she saw Sonny threaten Johnny's life. She recalled that she and Johnny were walking together; she then heard someone scream and was pulled away by Johnny -- and then the bomb went off. She also remembered that her dad was kneeling over her. Kris believed that Sonny tried to kill Johnny. Alexis told her that she's not allowed to see Johnny again. Just then, Johnny came by to apologize for everything. He promised to never see Kristina again, but wanted a few words with her first. Johnny stated that he has many enemies and doesn't want to risk her life. He even defended Sonny and advised her to make things right with her dad. Johnny didn't think that they should hang out anymore.

After Jax left, Carly began to shut down Metro Court for the night. Suddenly, Franco appeared. "It's me, again," he announced.... Spinelli and Jason tried to monitor Franco's whereabouts; Jason concluded that Franco wants Jason to find him so they can have a confrontation.... Franco told a nervous Carly that he wants to apologize and would never harm her daughter. Carly threatened to beat him to death if he harmed her family. Franco stated that she, Jason, Josslyn and Michael are all connected. "Michael?" asked Carly. Franco said Michael was quite the “prize” in prison. "Thank God, he's out now and everyone is home safe," Franco smiled. Uh oh.

Thursday

At the hospital, Robin thanked Patrick for the breakfast in bed. He then offered to cover her procedure for her. Lisa feigned delight at seeing Robin back. Robin wanted to do a presenation on the work she did while she was away. Lisa offered to help and assured Robin that Robin was all Patrick could think about while she was gone. Robin was touched that she'd been missed. Steven asked to speak with Lisa and admonished her for flaunting her affair with Patrick in Robin's face. Lisa accused him of being paranoid; Steven replied that he's not stupid and doesn't want her actions to affect patient care. Later, Patrick implored Lisa to keep their time together secret. She promised to.

At the hospital, Elizabeth and Nikolas visited Shirley. Liz was surprised when Shirley mentioned that she has children. Shirley recalled how she lost her first love and moved on with another man, with whom she had two kids. She then saw her first love, Ralph — and ending up leaving her husband and kids to be with him. He then died and she was diagnosed with cancer. Shirley admitted that she'd been relieved when she became sick because she'd soon be with the late Ralph, but regretted hurting her children.

After encountering Franco, Carly brought Josslyn to the hospital and introduced her to Steven. She invited Steven to lunch. After, Carly went to Metro Court and interrupted Jax and Skye's date and assured Jax that Josslyn is safe. Skye believed that her spending time with Jax was getting to Carly.... Steven joined Carly at Metro and concluded that she's trying to make Jax jealous.

Ethan warned Johnny that if he tries to retaliate against Sonny, he'll quit his job. Ethan pointed out that Johnny has a good life and shouldn't push it, especially since an innocent person could get hurt. Johnny promised that he won't retaliate, but Ethan didn't buy it. Johnny explained that if he does something Sonny doesn't expect, it'll throw off Corinthos. Ethan warned him that luck always runs out.

Lucky approached Sonny and recalled how Sonny had lost Lily when a car bomb meant for him exploded. Lucky wondered how far he wanted to go to keep Kristina safe. Sonny acknowledged that he'd do whatever it took and stated that Johnny is using Kristina. He vowed to keep Kris safe. Lucky noted that the war between Sonny and Johnny is personal and that it could put everyone in Sonny's life in danger. Sonny argued that he's not the bad guy. Lucky urged him to let the cops handle Johnny. Sonny replied that this wasn't Lucky's problem.

A jumpy Maxie told Lulu that she's working from home. Lulu assured her friend that she'd be safe at work, despite Franco being around. Maxie showed Lulu a sexy red dress. She prepared to seduce Matt in order to make Spinelli jealous and more attentive. Lulu warned that the plan might backfire. Later, Maxie donned her dress and left Spinelli a message. Matt then came by and noticed her sexy dress. Maxie replied that she loves Spinelli and only wants Matt to help her light Spin's inner fire. They began kissing, just as Spinelli and Lulu came home. Maxie denied enjoying the kiss, but Lulu entered and said that Maxie obviously liked it. Maxie said that the kiss was wasted because Spin hadn't seen it; Lulu replied that Spinelli indeed spied the buss. Later, Liz was surprised to catch Maxie and Lucky smooching.

Olivia visited Johnny and was grateful that he's alive. She became tearful as she realized that he probably wouldn't live that long with his lifestyle. They began kissing and had sex.... Lucky informed Claire that he spoke with Sonny -- and thinks that Corinthos indeed planted the car bomb. Claire planned to use herself as bait to get the goods on Sonny. Lucky warned her not to do such a good job of pretending to fall for Sonny that she really does.... Liv wanted to walk away from Johnny. He asked if she loves him. "I love you too much to watch you die," she replied, explaining that she can't spend her life terrified that she's going to lose him. "I'm done," she cried and walked out. Johnny was devastated.

Kristina went to see her father and broke down as she realized how close she came to losing her life. Sonny noted that Johnny has a lot of enemies, but Kris was certain that her dad was behind the bomb. She assured him that she's staying away from Johnny, not because her father wants her to, but because she doesn't want Johnny to die. Sonny insisted that his daughter is going to learn respect for him and her mother; she's now going to have a curfew and her credit cards will be turned out. He also insisted that she come over once a week for dinner so they can catch up. Kris didn't like these terms, but reluctantly agreed to them.... Claire invited Sonny to join her for dinner. He became suspicious. She said she wanted to apologize for blaming him for the car bomb when it appeared to be the Lopez brothers' doing. Sonny seemed to take the bait as he sat down to join her.

Friday

Franco broke into an old home and pulled the tarps off of the furniture. He settled down on the couch and played with a little wind-up toy, then spray painted his symbol, CO77X, on the wall in red. Franco called an eldery man named Wilhelm over and Wilhelm complimented the home. Wilhelm stated that he admired Franco's work and wanted a piece of it. Franco wanted to put on an exhibition in the house. Franco introduced Wilhelm to his "associate," a wind-up monkey. Wilhelm looked confused.

Maxie smooched Lucky to see if he was still a good kisser. He pushed her away, shocked, as a confused Elizabeth looked on. Maxie revealed that she's been flirting with Matt to make Spinelli jealous and kissed Matt, so she wanted to make sure that she wasn't really into Hunter. She wanted to to see if it was Matt or just his kiss that she liked. Lucky was baffled. Liz confronted Maxie and called her a slut. Maxie told Liz to mind her own business, dubbing her a "one-woman wrecking ball." "Thanks for the assist, Hot Lips," Maxie said as she sauntered off. Liz asked if Lucky was falling for Maxie again, but he didn't want to discuss his past romances.... Spin lamented to Jason that he's "roadkill on the highway of love" and told her about Maxie and Matt's kiss. Jason believed that Maxie was just trying to get Spinelli's attention. Still, Spin realized that they were drifting apart and thought that things had to end between them.

Liz found Nikolas and Spencer in the park and said that she wanted to make it up to Nik for pushing him away during her pregnancy. She admitted that she had reservations about their situation, but didn't want the baby to miss out. She asked Nik to be there when the baby is born and to be her birth coach. He was surprised, but she wanted this baby to know his or her biological father. Nik promised not to read too much into her offer.

Michael told Dante about the car bomb and how Kristina was almost killed. Dante asked if it was Sonny who was responsible and Michael denied it. Lulu arrived at Dante's and asked him to promise that they wouldn't play games in their relationship. She relayed how Maxie set up Spinelli to catch her kissing Matt, but instead, Spin walked away, heatbroken. She feared that her friend was sabotaging herself. Dante vowed that they wouldn't play games. They began to kiss, but both got calls from work. They ignored them and decided to take a shower together instead.

Sonny dined with Claire and she admitted that she's jumped to some conclusions about him -- but would take him off the streets when she found something against him. Sonny encouraged her to live in the moment and offered to cook her a meal. She turned him down. "It's inappropriate," she said. "Only if you end up as dessert," he joked. After, Claire filled in Lucky on her encounter with Sonny. She believed that Sonny was falling into her trap, but Lucky thought that her plan was ill-conceived. Still, she planned to return to Sonny's restaurant.... Michael was all set to do his community service: road crew work. Sonny was appalled that he had to do road crew work in the summer, but Michael didn't want to go back to jail. Sonny confided that he's been having nightmares in which Lily walked toward the car and turned into Kristina when it blew up.

At the hospital, Lisa asked if Patrick had told Robin what they'd been up to the other night. Patrick panicked until Lisa started talking about Shirley's surgery. "It was an honor to assist you, doctor," Lisa stated. Robin concluded that Lisa was a "goner" for Patrick and called her husband a rock star. Later, Patrick confronted Lisa about her little act; she told him to lighten up. Robin interrupted and eyed them curiously. Later, Robin led Patrick to a supply room so they could sneak in some lovemaking.

Jax and Skye continued to dine at Metro Court as Carly hung out with Steven. Steven realized that she wanted to make Jax jealous. Carly confided that she still loves Jax. Later, Carly dropped in on Jason and Spin; Jason wanted information on her encounter with Franco. Carly said that Franco was calm and sane and had apologized to her. And then he said that she, Jason, Josslyn and Michael were all connected and that Michael was a "prize" in prison. She wondered what Franco meant by that, but Jason replied that Franco was just trying to mess with them. Privately, she asked Spin to continue working on their project.... Jax took Josslyn to the park and promised the baby that their family would be together again soon. Later, Lulu ran into them and happily told Jax that she's in love. Jax was glad for her.

Franco lined up photos of women on the floor, with the monkey doll placed in the center. The artist wondered aloud which woman would be next. After, he went to the park and watched Lulu from the bushes.... Jason, Dante and Spin convened to discuss what they had on Franco. Dante feared that Franco was about to do something to someone.... Franco eavesdropped as Lulu talked about Franco with Jax. Lulu left and Jax put Josslyn in her stroller. Franco then came over to the stroller as Jax looked on, horrified.
