Monday
Sonny and Claire discussed Sonny's desire to kill Johnny and for her to look the other way. Sonny objected to her interpretation and felt that they could work together. Claire told Sonny that if Johnny died and Sonny claimed to have done it in self-defense, she would personally make sure he spent the rest of his life behind bars. He wondered if she planned to double-cross him. Claire restated that if Sonny provokes Johnny into committing an illegal act, she will make sure that he is prosecuted, but that if she catches Sonny doing something illegal, she'll prosecute him, too. Sonny became emotional while explaining to Claire why he is motivated to partner with her.
Kristina and Johnny chatted about her desire to make Sonny think that they're dating. He refused to go along with it. She left but told him to contact her if he changes his mind.
In the prison, the inmate Jason stabbed admitted to Jason that Franco wanted "to play with him," but the man died before he could tell Jason of Franco's whereabouts. Michael walked in on the brutal scene; Jason ordered him back to his cell. Jason was upset that Michael had witnessed the murder. Michael told Jason that if it's any consolation, he no longer wants to be like Jason.
Dante put away the grisly murder pic when Lulu entered. She pressed Dante to tell her what was wrong but when Maxie called with a personal crisis, Dante urged her to go tend to her. Lulu balked at leaving Dante but he assured her it was okay. After she exited, he reopened the package of photos. Dante was worried that Franco was killing again. He went to see Jason and showed him the photos. Before they could discuss the matter, the warden entered and reminded Jason, "I warned you what would happen if you caused trouble here."
Luke and Tracy bickered about their relationship with him continuing to insist that he genuinely loves her. Over his protestations, she claimed to no longer love him. Nikolas entered and Tracy told him to let her go, claiming not to care about her faux husband. Nik said that he was having both of them rescued right away. Lucky entered and scoffed to Nikolas, "That's awfully big of you." Tracy demanded to be taken to a luxury hotel. Lucky went off on Nikolas for Helena's "sick, insane" behavior. Nikolas pointed out that Luke was partly responsible for the war with Helena. Lucky pontificated that he had tried so hard to hang on to Elizabeth because of all that Helena had taken from him and that there was no way for him not to see Nikolas as an enemy after Nikolas destroyed his relationship with Liz. Nikolas denied that he is the enemy that Lucky makes him out to be. "You would rather hate me than believe that Elizabeth and I actually chose to be together," claimed Nik. Lucky said that he would never forgive Nik for betraying him. He then locked Nikolas alone in the cell.
Carly approached Patrick at the hotel bar. They discussed Lisa's obvious crush on Patrick. Carly thought it was clear that Patrick still wanted Lisa. Talk turned to Michael's predicament. Carly excused herself to take a call from Brook Lynn. Carly went to the apartment and made a show for Lulu's benefit of berating Brook for making a play for Dante. Lulu took the bait and defended Brook.
Sonny went to the bar to meet Johnny and urged Olivia to leave before Johnny arrived. The men immediately got into it when Johnny sauntered in and saw Sonny with Olivia.
Tuesday
Alexis returned home from community service, and Kristina was not happy to hear that she had to attend more therapy with her father. Krissy got angry that Alexis was making excuses for Sonny's behavior and said that someday Sonny will have to pay. Later, Kristina gave Molly an earful about how she blames Sonny for the havoc he brings to his loved ones. Then, Krissy confided in her sister that she's teaming up with Johnny.
Olivia stormed into Johnny's penthouse ready for a fight. She accused Johnny of trying to start a mob war. She also pointed out that his actions could adversely affect Michael in prison. Johnny accused Dante of trying to protect Sonny, and said she'd end up choosing Dante and Sonny over him. Olivia grabbed her purse and walked out, and Johnny threw his glass at the wall. Later, Olivia returned, with a bottle of wine in-hand. She stated that she can't change Johnny but she was willing to hang on longer if he was. Johnny pulled her into a passionate kiss.
In the hall, Lulu broke up a pretend fight between Brook Lynn and Carly. Lulu brought Carly inside and asked her cousin why she'd think Dante would cheat with Brook in the first place. Carly pointed out that since Sonny has strayed in the past, it could be a case of, "Like father, like son." Carly continued to plant doubt in Lulu's mind. Carly then went to Brook and "apologized," since Lulu gave her the benefit of the doubt. Brook thanked Lulu and Carly left.
At Pentonville, the Warden interrupted Dante's meeting with Jason and took the prisoner away for questioning in Carter's death. Dante met with Michael and asked him what happened with Carter. Michael said that Jason was with him at the time of Carter's demise. Dante was wary and Michael told Dante that he owes him nothing and walked out. The Warden called in other inmates but no one fingered Jason for Carter's murder. The Warden planned to send Jason to solitary confinement, but Jason begged him to think of Michael's welfare. The Warden conceded.
At The Haunted Star, Ethan fleeced a couple of guys at poker and sent them on their way, just as Skye arrived. She reported Luke and Tracy were on their way home from Greece, and she got the impression that they could be splitting up for good. Skye noted that she still needed aid and since Luke wasn't available, she'd need to rely on another man. Ethan offered his services, but Jax arrived instead. Just then, Maya entered and reported that Tracy called and ordered all of Luke's things be moved out of the Q mansion. Jax told Skye he was happy to "get his hands dirty" and help her out. Before leaving, Skye told Maya and Ethan that she actually envied what Luke and Tracy have. Ethan then got Maya to play cards, but she refused to play for money.
Lisa invited Steven to her room at Metro Court, where she was staying while her apartment was undergoing renovations. She poured some wine for Steven, who remarked that he knows she was using him to make Patrick jealous. Steven and Lisa traded some war stories and then they talked about what they expected from their relationships — and then Lisa unbuttoned Steven's shirt.
Carly ran into Jax at Metro Court and asked him to join her for dinner. Just then, Skye showed up and he said he already had plans, "But maybe another time," Jax smiled.
Jason was returned to his cell, where he and Michael compared notes. Michael asked Jason to continue their self-defense lessons, so he could kill someone like Carter if he ever had to. Jason was uneasy.
Wednesday
Molly was worried about Kristina's plan to use Johnny to get to Sonny. Sam interrupted, so Krissy quickly covered.
Sonny visited Michael in prison, where he assured his father that everything was well. Sonny told his son that he missed him, and that of all his children, he felt closest to Michael.
Lulu woke up with Dante, who was already getting dressed. She noticed he kept tossing and turning in his sleep. Dante said he was concerned about Michael after Jason killed Carter. Dante was desperate to get Michael out of Pentonville and told Lulu he needed to "step up" for his family. Claire arrived but had no news on the Michael front. He then asked her about Franco and showed Claire the photo he received. They wondered if the body in the picture was real. Claire said she'd look into the matter.
At Johnny's penthouse, Ethan expressed concern over the danger involved in messing with Sonny. Johnny then mentioned that he thinks he was "too nice" with Kristina, and mentioned her scheme to get back at Sonny. Johnny then left for a meeting with Senor Lopez.
At the Q mansion, Edward needed to discuss a family matter. Maya mentioned that Edward was putting her sister, Zoe, through boarding school. Edward stated that today was the anniversary of Justus's death. Edward expressed regret at losing Justus's trust through his various manipulations. Edward then asked Maya if she'd take a drive with him; she agreed. Later, they returned from Bradley's final resting place. Edward said he intended to make up for his past mistakes.
Helena was disappointed that Nikolas had her things packed up and left on the docks. He pointed out that she kidnapped Luke and Tracy, and cited her as a bad influence on Spencer and his unborn child. Then, Nik mentioned that Lucky left him locked up in the dungeon. Helena feigned concern but was pleased the gap between the brothers was widening.
At G.H., Luke arrived in Tracy's room bearing stolen flowers. Steven reported that Tracy was on the road to recovery. Tracy vowed to make Luke pay for every day she mistakenly thought they were legally wed. Luke tittered nervously. He then asked her to fly away with him to Vegas again and make their marriage legal but she turned him down. Tracy then told Luke that he broke her heart, and she'd never give him that opportunity again. Helena stopped in to visit, and Tracy ordered them both out. She gave Luke her rings and told him to leave. In the hall, Luke vowed vengeance against Helena, who in turn told Luke that he just must not have "it" anymore.
Sam went to Pentonville, but Jason wasn't allowed any visitors. Michael filled her in about Carter. Sam was relieved that Jason wasn't sent into solitary confinement. After Sam left, Lulu stopped by. She told Michael that Dante was very upset about the situation and was considering giving up his badge.
Elizabeth was determined to cash in on the trust Jason set up for the boys to invest with Steven; he was concerned about the risk of return. Nikolas went to see Liz, and informed her that he kicked Helena out of Wyndemere. The pair then began to squabble. Liz mentioned she was working on becoming financially independent — and that she'd wait for Lucky, "as long as it takes."
Maya was out and about texting when she spilled her drink all over herself. Ethan came by and laughed. He invited her back to clean up. Ethan brought Maya to Johnny's penthouse, claiming it was his.
Dante went to see Judge Carroll, who was chewing out two lawyers in his chambers. After they left, Dante said he wanted to talk about Michael. Dante filled Judge Carroll in on Michael's current situation.
At the lake house, Sonny stopped by to see Kristina. Molly answered the door and politely advised Sonny to give Krissy some space. Molly slipped that Kristina's feeling better because she has a new friend to talk to. Later, Kristina met up with Johnny, who still had reservations about going through with her plan. Just then, Sonny spied them together, and Kristina grabbed Johnny's hand. "What are you doing?" an annoyed Sonny asked.
Thursday
Dante made a convincing case for Judge Carroll to release Michael. The judge held firm, but Dante was relentless. Eventually, Judge Carroll conceded that if he were to release Michael, there would have to be certain restrictions. Dante agreed to do whatever was necessary.
At Pentonville, Michael told Jason about Lulu's visit and stated if Dante were to leave the police force, he could take over Sonny's business as they'd once talked about. Michael admitted that he was jealous of Sonny and Dante's relationship, lamenting that his father sees him as a kid and Dante as a man. Jason reminded Michael that he'll still have a life when he gets out of prison. Michael stressed that he fully intends to join Jason and Sonny in the family business, insisting he was no longer a child. "I know," Jason sighed.
"Get your hands off my daughter," Sonny demanded of Johnny, who was holding hands with Kristina. "Now!" Johnny let go, and then put his arm around the girl. Sonny tried in vain to keep his cool. He tried to convince his daughter that Johnny was using her to get to him. She pointed out that Johnny was just like Sonny — except that Johnny wasn't abusive. "I want to be with Johnny and if you don't like it, too bad," she huffed. Sonny walked away. "Told you it would work," Kristina then smiled. Johnny was still concerned about what effect this charade might have on Krissy.
Lulu ran into Carly at Metro Court, and informed her cousin about the Carter situation. Carly was shocked to just be hearing about this, and stated Michael would never be safe while he's locked up in prison.
Olivia showed up at the restaurant, where Conan tried to convince her to eat, but she insisted she was there to see Sonny. In his office, Sonny exploded, saying, "Your boyfriend is screwing my daughter!" Sonny called Johnny "sick" but Olivia refused to believe the claim. "He's got to die," Sonny insisted. Sonny then went to see Alexis and informed her about Johnny. She flipped out. "He wouldn't!" Alexis exclaimed. "I bet they already have," Sonny shot back. "If Johnny is having sex with our daughter, he's dead!" Sonny insisted.
At Johnny's, Ethan was still tying to pass off Zacchara's penthouse as his own. When Ethan suggested a drink, Maya pointed to a bottle that Johnny had been saving. Ethan persuaded Maya to take in the view instead. While Maya was asking Ethan about Spoon Island, Johnny returned home. Sensing tension, Maya excused herself and left.
Dante raced home and started stripping Lulu — and himself — and lowered her onto the coffee table. Lulu happily went along with his amorous advances. Post-coital, Lulu congratulated Dante on getting Michael released. Dante explained that there was a catch: Michael can not have Sonny or Jason in his life — and that Michael would have to live with Dante.
Carly visited Michael in jail and asked about Carter. Michael made his mother swear that she never mention Carter in front of Sonny. Meanwhile, Claire visited Jason in Pentonville to get info on Franco. Jason said he'd cooperate — if Claire could get Michael released.
Kristina went to Johnny's, where Johnny insisted that scene in front of Sonny was a one-shot deal. As Kristina lounged on the couch smiling, Olivia walked in and looked at Johnny. "What the hell are you thinking?" Olivia spat.
Friday
At Pentonville, Jason filled in Claire about Franco, including his cryptic warning that if Jason killed, then Franco would kill. "Kill anyone lately?" she asked. Naturally, Jason remained mum about Carter. Claire thanked him for his honesty and said she'd keep him in the loop of her investigation.
Olivia freaked out catching Kristina at Johnny's penthouse. She knew nothing was going on but chastised the girl for tormenting her father. "You better check your behavior, honey," she warned. "Johnny is not a safe haven for you." Ethan entered, felt the tension and said he'd be back another time. Johnny asked Ethan to take Krissy home. "Alone at last," commented Liv. Once at the lake house, Ethan warned Kristina that Sonny will go after Johnny, and her plan is putting him in harm's way. "Is that what you really want?" Back at the penthouse, Olivia demanded answers from Johnny. Their argument got incredibly heated, but Johnny refused to fess up that he and Kristina were just an act to goad Sonny. Olivia demanded that Johnny tell her he wasn't risking what they had over his vendetta with Corinthos. "I have nothing more to say," Johnny stated. Olivia took her purse and left. Johnny picked up a bottle and started drinking. Ethan came back and Johnny lamented his loss. Ethan suggested that Johnny come clean with Liv but Johnny stated that this was for the best, as she has his whole heart and he only has the piece of hers that's not Sonny's.
Across town, Alexis and Sonny conversed about what to do with their rebellious daughter. Alexis asked Sonny to let her handle it. He agreed, but said if Johnny has sex with their daughter, he'll take the "appropriate action." Alexis went home to talk to Krissy. She kept up the act, and said her father is a horrible person and that Johnny is the only person who doesn't make excuses for him. Alexis was horrified.
In their cell, Michael told Jason about the visit with his mom. Just then, the warden arrived with Dante. "It's your lucky day, Corinthos," he stated. Dante added, "You're going home." Michael and Jason were shocked. Michael didn't want to leave without Jason, but Jason insisted. "This is a gift," he stated. "I want you to take it. Go back to your life and don't look back." They hugged, and Michael left with Dante and the warden. Jason breathed a sigh of relief, then contemplated his future.
Carly reported to Spinelli about her visit to Pentonville. Spinelli was still depressed. Just then, Carly got the call about Michael's release. Needless to say, she was elated. Carly raced home to share the happy news with Jax and Morgan. Later, Dante arrived with Michael, who enjoyed a warm, happy homecoming with his family.
Olivia went back to Sonny and said she believed that Johnny was indeed using Kristina to get to him and added that she was, "so, so sorry." Olivia then warned Sonny not to play into Johnny's hands.
At the loft, Lulu told Brook that Michael was being released, and he'd be living there. Brook pointed out having Michael there would certainly put a damper on their romance. Lulu was saddened that Brook was correct.
Dante went to see Sonny to break the good news/bad news scenario: Michael's out, but one of the conditions of his release is that no contact was allowed between father and son. Sonny was stunned.
