Monday

A pretty girl at the coffee shop asked Spinelli for his help. Winnifred piped in that the Jackal is too busy but Spinelli was more than happy to help out a damsel in distress. The lady recounted her sob story about losing her ex-husband's assets, which alarmed Winnifred. When Winnie suggested to Spinelli that he's not acting with his head, he followed the woman upstairs out of spite. Back in Port Charles, Maxie tried to persuade Jason to go after Spinelli, but he refused.

Sonny snapped at Claudia when she referred to Michael's condition. He explained how much he struggles every day with what happened to his son and desperately wants to make someone pay for it. He admitted to still not being 100 percent certain that Dr. Devlin acted alone. Claudia suggested that Michael wouldn't want his father obsessing over this. Sonny explained to her that Michael was a lot like Sonny, especially after his nanny died and he wanted revenge on her killer. Claudia advised Sonny to be more positive, so Sonny headed to the Haunted Star to seek a second opinion.

Lulu endlessly complained to Robin and Patrick about Ethan and how he's pulling one over on Luke. Robin distracted Patrick by telling him to check on Emma, then whispered to Lulu to keep quiet about her visit to the boat/casino. After Robin managed to get rid of Lulu, Patrick asked Robin once again to consider whether she's experiencing postpartum depression. Robin didn't see the need to put a label on her behavior.

Carly was Jason's second visitor of the day and arrived in need of a chat. She told Jason about the test that might help Michael and wondered aloud why she's not embracing this prospect. Jason didn't feel like weighing in but pressed her to consider the risk. Over at the Haunted Star, meanwhile, Sonny downed shots with Luke and consulted him on potentially life-saving test. Both parents were strongly considering their options.

While Claudia was snooping around Sonny's living room, Kate breezed in and dropped the bombshell that she knows about Claudia's role in Michael's shooting. Just as Kate was reminding Claudia that she witnessed the shooting, Sonny walked in and asked why they were discussing Michael's shooting.

Maxie decided to do a little reconnaissance mission, and enlisted Lulu in her search for Spinelli at the Crimson offices. They hit pay dirt when Lulu phoned Frank's place and discovered that "Hudson" is indeed staying there, which Winnifred overheard Ralph confirming on the phone. After hacking into a Web site for the damsel, Spinelli felt woozy and fainted outside the coffee shop. Sam ran over to Jason's and announced that she's going after Spinelli, whether he's coming or not.

Robin and Patrick's difficult discussion resumed, and Patrick blamed Robin for making him spend all his time taking care of Emma. What about his job? Patrick whined. Their attempt to sort things out was blasted once again by a knock on the door. Carly arrived and requested that Patrick perform the test on Michael.

Tuesday

At Crimson, Maxie expressed worry about Robin. Lulu wondered about Robin's trip to The Haunted Star in the middle of the day.

Spinelli woke up to "cyber nirvana." The "damsel in distress" told The Jackal, "Make me rich or you die." Spinelli realized "the temptress" had drugged him. Cassandra admitted she was an art thief and required his assistance. Once alone, he had a vision of Maxie on his keyboard. Maxie then appeared as an angel and a devil and offered him tips on how to proceed. They then argued over whether Spinelli should sleep with Winnie or Cassandra. Spinelli told his visions to be gone.

At the aftercare facility, Carly talked with Michael about the procedure they were going to do. Carly then went over the drill with Patrick about the pros and cons of the procedure.

At Sonny's, he was concerned about Michael's procedure while Kate and Claudia tried to one up each other. Kate tried to convince Sonny that he deserved to be happy. The former lovers erupted into a big fight. Kate realized that maybe she has no place in Sonny's world. "I'm finished, and I'm not coming back!" she huffed upon leaving. Sonny asked Claudia what that was all about. Claudia remained silent.

At Kelly's, Elizabeth had pie with Rebecca, who told her she was from Washington. Rebecca said she got her X-ray tech degree from a local junior college. She stressed that she has no ties to Port Charles or Emily. Liz talked about her kids. Rebecca said she's single. Just then, Lucky arrived. Liz didn't like that Lucky and Rebecca were flirty. She bit her tongue when Lucky and Rebecca set a concert date. Lucky asked Liz if it would bother her if he asked out Rebecca. She said that they were in a good place and he could do whatever he wanted.

At Crimson, Kate showed up looking for Johnny. Maxie was missing so Johnny said he'd escort Lulu to an event instead of Maxie. Kate barked that Lulu shouldn't focus on a man who's out of her reach. Johnny then offered to take Lulu out to make her feel better. Johnny took Lulu to the abandoned garage and said he bought it. Lulu was thrilled.

Patrick and Robin squabbled about her involvement with Michael's surgery. Robin was insulted that Patrick didn't want her to be a part of the team. As they bickered, Jax and Carly emerged. Carly was not happy to learn that Sonny had asked Robin to observe. Jax took Robin aside and said she should abide by Patrick's wishes. Sonny showed up and was not happy to learn Robin removed herself from the case. Carly gave permission to Patrick to go ahead. As Michael went into surgery, Carly asked Sonny and Jax to pray and be hopeful.

Claudia went to Crimson and asked Kate why she didn't spill. Kate said she wanted nothing from Claudia. Kate confessed that she didn't want to hurt Sonny any further and she was bowing out. Kate echoed that Sonny would find out and that would be the price that she'd have to pay. Claudia sulked out.

In L.A., Winnifred went back to the diner seeking Spinelli, to no avail. Just then, Maxie showed up and was not happy to learn her beloved Spinelli was missing.

A gloved hand found another of Jerry's DVDs.

Wednesday

At The Haunted Star, Luke and Ethan continued to trade barbs about illegal
betting and their shady histories. Lucky arrived and was immediately
suspicious of Ethan. "Ethan, this is my son, the cop," Luke stated. Lucky
was irritated that his father would hire a grifter to work at the casino.
Tracy then showed up, barking about how profits were down. Unbeknownst to
Lucky, Ethan lifted his wallet. When Luke pointed that fact out, Lucky
threatened to arrest Ethan. "He's not serious," Ethan scoffed. Lucky said he
had had it with Luke's permissive attitude. Tracy spoke up in Luke's
defense. "Maybe dad's just looking for another son. The one he should have
had," Lucky griped before walking out.

Patrick arrived to give Carly and Jax the news that Michael's condition has
not changed. "In my opinion, Michael's not going to improve," Patrick
relayed, stating that Michael was not a candidate for the experimental
procedure. A saddened Carly realized that her son's condition was not going
to change. Carly thanked Jax for his support. She then told a sleeping
Michael that she loved him. Unbeknownst to Carly, a blip occurred with
Michael's brain activity.

At the diner in Los Angeles, Jason and Sam caught up to Maxie and Winnifred,
who were desperately searching for Spinelli and the mystery woman. Maxie
continuously ripped into Winnifred for "losing" Spinelli. As Winnie tried to
track down Spinelli's cyber footprints, Jason mentioned Michael's procedure
to Sam. He was concerned about Carly getting her hopes up. Maxie quizzed
Winnifred about the coat Cassandra was wearing and deduced how it could lead
her to Spinelli. Maxie called the boutique where the pricey coat came from
and got the names of three women who purchased it. Winnifred found info
about Cassandra and her history with art theft. When a pop up for a hat shop
appeared on Winnie's computer screen, they realized it must be a clue from
Spinelli.

In captivity, Spinelli logged away as Cassandra checked in on him. Spinelli
reported that he couldn't get into the art house's computer system. "We're
just getting started," she purred. "Woman With Hat" was the painting
Cassandra was eyeing. It was worth 10 million on the black market, she
noted. She wanted Spinelli to crack the code to the vault where the painting
was being kept. Cassandra warned Spinelli not to try and send an S.O.S. to
Winnie. When the time came to put his skills to work, Spinelli tried to
escape.

At the house, Robin told Emma that she loved her and they'd get through her
struggle with postpartum. Just then, there was a knock at the door. It was
Matt, who came by to see his niece. Robin bit Matt's head off when he said
he'd spoken to Patrick earlier. She accused him of checking up on her. She
apologized for snapping, then Matt brought up the P-word. Robin barked at
him and he pointed out that Robin should do her research. "Get the hell out of
my house," Robin huffed. At the hospital, Matt confessed to Patrick that he
mentioned the P-word to Robin. Patrick got all upset and he, too, snapped at
his brother. He accused Matt of making things worse but Matt wasn't buying
it.

Robin went to Kelly's and reported to Mike that there was no change in
Michael's condition. Elizabeth stopped by and picked up Emma. Robin remained
listless. "She is so beautiful," Liz cooed. Robin thanked Liz for all her
help with moving in. She then asked if Patrick had asked Liz to spend time
with her because she was suffering from postpartum. Liz swore that Patrick
did not put her up to anything. Robin confessed to feeling overwhelmed. Liz
tried to assure her that it was natural for a new mother to feel that way.
Robin then kvetched about Patrick only seeing her as a mother and not a
woman. Later, after helping Liz with a large takeout order, Robin got a call
from Mercy and left Kelly's without Emma.

Thursday

At Mercy, Robin and Nikolas spoke about the rebuilding of GH — and about Rebecca. After their chat, Robin was horrified to realize that she'd left Emma behind at Kelly's.

On the docks, Lucky and Ethan traded insults and got into a brawl. Rebecca was wandering by and broke it up. "This isn't police business," Lucky huffed. "It's personal." Lucky ran a background check on Ethan but nothing came up. Lucky let Ethan go and Rebecca tried to calm him down. She pointed out that he had a bad cut on his forehead.

In Michael's room, Carly told Sonny that she was having a hard time dealing with Michael's condition, but she was ready to admit there was no hope for change. Sonny and Carly reminisced about the happy times with Michael, then Jax arrived to take Carly home. Jax planned something special to lift Carly's mood. At the Outlook, Jax proposed to Carly again. She was thrilled with his
idea to renew their vows.

As they hunted down Spinelli, Jason and Sam had to referee a warring Maxie and Winnifred. When Jason pulled his gun, Winnifred asked if he had a permit for it. Once Sam pinpointed Spinelli's location, Maxie wanted to join them but Winnie happily pointed out Maxie's lack of skills in such situations. Maxie and Winnie then argued over their respective qualifications. Jason ordered Winnie to zip it and for Maxie to stay in the car. "Don't even think about it," Jason told Maxie when she tried to follow them.

Spinelli's escape attempt was a bust. A furious Cassandra ordered him to crack the code or else. "18 minutes," she barked. Cassandra hovered over Spinelli as he frantically typed away. With 30 seconds to go, Spinelli cracked the code but Cassandra refused to let him go. After Cassandra left to get the purloined painting, Spinelli tried to talk her henchman into setting him free. When he
refused, Spinelli jumped on the henchman's back. Jason, Sam and Winnie burst in. Jason knocked out the thug. Winnie was thrilled Spinelli was okay but he was overjoyed to hear that Maxie had joined them.

Lulu burst into The Haunted Star with big news. "Oh, my God," said Tracy. "She's pregnant." Luke spit out his drink. Lulu corrected Tracy and announced that Johnny opened a garage and she wanted them to be his first customers. Tracy likened taking her car to Johnny's garage would be like, "Scooping caviar with a corn chip." Johnny was furious that Lulu would pander to get him business. "It doesn't help if you make me look like a charity case," he huffed. An eavesdropping Ethan entered and, after hearing Lulu admit she was didn't like Johnny getting paid to go out with Maxie, Ethan offered to take Lulu out — if it would make her feel better. Johnny told Ethan to back off. Before he could leave in a huff, Lulu set things right with Johnny and they kissed and made up. Ethan called Lulu a drama queen, a charge she denied.

A frantic Robin tore past Lucky and Rebecca into Kelly's, where she'd left Emma, who was sound asleep. "Oh, thank God," she cried. Lucky asked what was wrong but Robin pointed out that Lucky's cut needed stitches. Robin was relieved to notice that no one was aware of her gaffe. After, Robin apologized to a sleeping Emma. Just then, Sonny called and said he had something to discuss with her privately. He wanted Robin to review Michael's case. "Something's telling me it's too soon to give up on Michael," Sonny said. Just then, Michael's brain activity spiked.

While sitting in the car waiting for the gang's return, a cop approached Maxie. He told her she was in a no parking zone. Maxie turned on the charm, flirted with the officer who then let him off with a warning. Then, Cassandra and another thug entered the parking garage and put the stolen painting in a van. Maxie saw them and got out to stall the thieves. Cassandra saw through Maxie's act after Maxie slipped up. The thug grabbed her, just as Jason and Sam arrived with guns poised. Winnifred screamed that the thieves were under arrest and Maxie and Spinelli happily embraced.

Friday

Outside Kelly's, Robin hung up from Sonny, then apologized again to Emma for forgetting about her. Patrick walked up and told Robin that he knows what happened. Of course, he was referring to her argument with Matt and not her leaving Emma behind at Kelly's. Patrick then apologized for talking about their personal lives with others. Robin accepted his apology. When he asked about their day, Robin lied and said she and Emma had a great day at the park. She even lied about Emma taking her first ride on the swing. Just then, Elizabeth arrived and thanked Robin for her help earlier, which contradicted what Robin had just told Patrick.

At Mercy, Nikolas stumbled upon Rebecca and Lucky laughing about his cut. Nik swore he wasn't following Rebecca. She acknowledged that she didn't think that. Nik didn't say anything but he didn't look pleased when he learned that Lucky and Rebecca had plans for that evening. Later, after Lucky got his stitches, Rebecca was ready to go but Lucky expressed concern for his brother.

Claudia called the aftercare center to check on Michael. Just then, Sonny returned with the results. He expressed his sadness that there was no change in Michael's condition and admitted that he admired Carly's resilience. Claudia then suggested they throw a party — "for business and for Michael." She suggested inviting the five families to their home and soliciting donations for Michael's charity. She also added that it would cement their place at the top of the mob food chain. After exchanging a few barbs, Sonny gave his consent.

In the parking garage, Sam held the art thieves at bay while Winnifred called the authorities. Jason told Winnie that she must take the credit so they can stay incognito. Winnifred was reluctant but Spinelli convinced her to go along with their plan. Winnie officially placed the thieves under arrest while Jason, Spinelli, Sam and Maxie could split before the police arrived. After the cops came and took in the crooks, Winnifred was poised to leave but the arresting officer said the feds were on their way to talk to her. Rayner showed up and gave Winnifred a verbal thrashing which left her shaking. Winnie turned in her badge but Rayner refused it. He stated that she's a hero amongst the agency for busting the art ring and, in fact, she landed a promotion.

Carly asked Jax if he thought she should give up on Michael. He replied that with love and hope, miracles can happen. The kissed and set a date and time to renew their vows. Carly said she wanted something small and private, then raced Jax to the car.

Nikolas arrived at Kelly's to meet Liz. She asked why he wanted to see her. Nikolas told Liz that he was jealous of Rebecca and Lucky, even though he had no right to be.... Outside, Robin quickly scrambled to cover her lie. Patrick decided to call a sitter and take Robin out for a "grown up, romantic dinner."

Back in L.A., Maxie took the gang to a 5-star hotel. Jason brushed her off and announced that it was in Spinelli's best interests to smuggle him out of the country. Maxie was upset by the plan but Spinelli agreed that it was what's best. "This is your fault," Maxie told Jason. Jason agreed. A tearful Maxie told Spinelli that she blamed him for making her dependent on him. Then, Maxie blurted that she's not going to give him the chance to walk out on her like all the others and she left the room first. Spinelli chased after Maxie, where she yelled at him but finally confessed, "I love you, Spinelli. I will love you forever." She then pulled him into a kiss.

Carly and Jax made love while Sonny and Claudia engaged in hot sex.... Matt apologized to Patrick for interfering. Matt didn't want to pick a fight but he didn't believe Robin was suddenly fine. Patrick insisted that after his great conversation with Robin earlier, they were getting back on track. On her way to the restaurant, however, Robin turned around and went in the other direction.... Sam hatched a new scheme. If they can find the evidence against Spinelli and destroy it, then Spinelli won't have to flee.
