Monday
In the park, Carly reiterated her offer, and then asked a suspicious Brook Lynn how well she knows Dante Falconeri. Brook noted the Falconeris and Cerullos had grown up together. Carly revealed Sonny is Dante's father and added that father and son both had an eye for the ladies. At Sonny's, having learned nothing from shooting Dante in his living room, he pulled a gun on Johnny. As Sonny postured and made threats, Claire and Ethan burst in...and Johnny said he wanted to report an attempted murder: his! Sonny said Johnny was lying and told Max to get the "idiots" out of there. After Ethan and Johnny left, Claire and Sonny exchanged barbs. When Carly outlined some of her plan, Brook told her she's not a hooker. But Carly's offer was tantalizing: money, a room at the hotel, and a gig singing at the hotel. AtCrimson, Lulu geared up to tell Dante about her abortion. Dante assured her they'd deal with whatever she was trying to call him...and then Claire called, so he had to go. They agreed to meet up at Jake's later. At Jake's, Maxie and Matt bantered and Ethan and Johnny sauntered in calling for celebratory shots so they could toast to the fall of Sonny Corinthos. Then Ethan accidentally spilled booze on Maya! Back at Sonny's, Claire told Dante about Ethan and Johnny. Their snarking led to Dante admitting Sonny had shot him and assuring Claire that he intended to make things right. Back at Jake's, Maxie took a minute to catch up with Johnny, spilling her whole plan about stringing Matt along to bolster Spinelli...which Matt overheard! He rightfully walked out. Over at Crimson, Carly cautioned Lulu against spilling about the abortion...while Dante walked into Jake's, where Brook was crooning "When You Wish Upon a Star."
Jason was ushered into Michael's cell, where the bruised up boy seemed nearly catatonic, sitting against the wall with his knees drawn up. Jason kept up a running stream of commentary (yes, Jason was chatty), praising his strength, but Michael didn't respond. Jason talked about the island and the beach, which finally garnered a few words. Jason questioned Michael about who hit him, but he sidestepped the questions and then blamed himself for Jason landing in jail. Jason assured him that the fault was all Jason's. "I put you here," he said, stressing he wouldn't let Michael go it alone. Michael asked how things were at home and dubbed jail "kinda like summer camp...only not." Michael said he didn't want anyone to know the condition Jason had found him in. Then, the guard said Sonny was there to visit and Michael warily went to see him. In the visitors' room, Michael evaded questions about who'd beaten him and assured Sonny, "I'm not as weak as you think I am." Sonny insisted he's trying to get Michael released and
advised the boy to stick close to Jason. Meanwhile, Jason got a visit from Warden Powell, who warned him to be on his best behavior. After Michael came back to his cell, Jason was brought to see Sonny, who demanded Jason find out who'd hurt Michael and off the person. Then he updated Jason on the Johnny situation and vowed to "crush that bastard once and for all." As for Michael...? He got treatment in the infirmary, eyes blank from trauma.
Lucky ran into Maya at the hospital, asking if she'd seen Elizabeth and the kids, since he was supposed to have the boys tonight. Apparently Liz hadforgotten! She was at home, frazzled. Nikolas showed up, wondering why she'd blown off a doctor's appointment. As he castigated her for her irresponsibility, Lucky showed up to pick up the kids. Once alone, Nikolas wondered what Liz was going to do about being so overwhelmed. Liz wrote it off as hormones, saying she'd be fine. Nikolas said she didn't have to work; she and the kids could come live at Wyndemere. Liz wasn't havin' that, saying she was starting to hate the fact that he's the father of her baby. As she got teary and kicked him out, he reminded her of his rights. She made a beeline to Lucky's to vent about Nikolas being controlling.
Tuesday
A sullen Michael was returned to his cell, and Jason reported that he told Sonny that Michael was beaten by a guard. Michael worried that his father's business was suffering because if him. "I do not regret my decision," Jason said. Michael filled in Jason on the highly regimented routine of prison: eating, sleeping and working on a schedule. Michael appeared upset while talking about how the cells are supposed to be locked at night. Jason admitted he never wanted Michael to be in prison, so he never taught him survival skills, but he will start teach Michael to defend himself tomorrow. "You're gonna make it through this," Jason promised.
Elizabeth told Lucky, "I've never needed you more than I do right now." She said Nikolas is treating her like a baby incubator, not a person. Lucky said he cannot get involved. When she got home, Nikolas was waiting, and criticized her for working while pregnant. He accused her of not caring if she has a miscarriage. Liz was horrified, and insisted she loves her children, even if she hates the daddy.
At The Haunted Star, Skye told Luke that Edward found out Tracy didn't go to Fiji. "My wife's been kidnapped!" Luke declared. And he knows who did it: Helena. Skye was surprised to see such concern on Luke's face. Elsewhere, Helena needled the captive Tracy, confessing that she enjoys her battles with Luke.
At Metro Court, Jax was relieved to hear from Claire that Jason is protecting Michael. He said if Sonny goes to jail, his powerful friends would help get Michael released. After she left, Carly arrived. Jax said the paperwork for Morgan's adoption is nearly ready, and she said they should move ahead with their divorce. Claire visited Lucky and apologized for melting down over kids at the park. Then she announced she's putting together another case against Sonny. He promised past conflicts will not stop him from investigating Sonny — as long as she doesn't get swept up in an obsessive vendetta. She trusts him to tell her when she's going "Capt. Ahab." Lucky agreed.
Carly warned Lulu that telling Catholic Dante about her abortion could be a deal-breaker. Confused, Lulu set out for Jake's. At Jake's, Dante was happy to see Brook Lynn singing (Ethan and Johnny didn't mind watching her, either). After finishing, Brook Lynn rushed to hug Dante. She said her mother lives in London and is managing bands. Maxie stepped in to inform Brook Lynn that Dante is taken. When Maya heard Brook Lynn is a Quartermaine, she introduced herself as a fellow great-granddaughter of Edward. When Lulu arrived, Dante was surprised that she already knew Brook Lynn (from her last stint in town). Brook Lynn chortled that she has tons of dirt on Dante, and marveled that he hooked up with Lulu. Dante shocked Brook Lynn with the reveal that Sonny is his father. After the couple left, Johnny bought Brook Lynn a beer, but then Olivia arrived and hugged Johnny. Brook Lynn filled her in on gossip from the old neighborhood, until Lulu dragged her away and explained Johnny and Olivia are dating. Meanwhile, Maya wondered why Ethan is in the mob. He admitted it pays well, and he likes the thrill. Disgusted, she left. Dante and Lulu returned to his place, where he asked what was bothering her. She was reluctant to talk, but he assured her nothing will change his heart. She revealed that Dillon got her pregnant, and "I had an abortion." He acknowledged her difficult decision, and told her, "It makes me love you, and respect you even more." Lulu sobbed tears of joy. Later, Brook Lynn checked in with Carly at Metro Court, upset that Carly didn't tell her Dante was already in a relationship. She noted it's going to be harder to get Dante to cheat. Carly offered her a $50,000 bonus for taking pictures in bed with him.
Wednesday
Helena ran into a suspicious Lucky at the pier, but she wouldn't divulge her plan. When Nikolas arrived, the brothers butted heads over who cares more about Elizabeth. At G.H., Liz pulled Robin aside to talk about Nikolas, and Robin promised to try to talk some sense into him. Lisa offered to buy Steve dinner for helping her with her guitar. She touched his face, and an indignant Patrick interrupted them. She needled him about acting jealous, then invited him for sushi. He wanted to take Robin, but Liz noted Robin went to Wyndemere, so he decided to skip lunch. Lisa asked Steve to go — which upset Patrick. Meanwhile, Helena hoped that Nikolas would bring the baby to the ancestral home, but Nik balked. Later, Nik told Robin he's determined to do what's best for child, and Liz is being stubborn. Nik admitted he felt obligated to take care of his baby, which made an eavesdropping Helena smile. Elsewhere, Luke assumed his Dr. Von Schemerman identity and tried to talk his way into the Cassadine compound, looking for Tracy. When his ruse was exposed, he was brought to the dungeon. "What the hell took you so long?" Tracy demanded. "This is all your fault."
At Metro Court, Brook Lynn warned Carly that it might take some time to seduce Dante. When Olivia arrived, followed by Johnny, Brook Lynn was instantly enamored of him. Carly reminded her who she's supposed to seduce. Dante and Lulu awoke together at his loft. "I love being in love with you," he said. She admitted being afraid to bring up the abortion, but he pointed out he's in love with her. He told her he realized the exact moment things went wrong: when he lied about Sonny shooting him. After Lulu left for work, Claire arrived and floated an idea: a Johnny/Sonny war presents an opportunity to get Sonny on attempted murder charges, because with Jason behind bars Sonny might pull the trigger himself. Lulu flounced into Crimson, triumphant after being honest with Dante, impressing Maxie. Back at Metro Court, Carly let Johnny know that Olivia had dinner with Sonny the night before. He was furious at being her "booty-call" while she chases Sonny. She insisted that sometimes she just needs to talk to the father of her son. Later, she confronted Carly for baiting Johnny; Carly feigned contrition. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn summoned Dante to Metro Court, saying his mother looks upset.
Bernie told Sonny some partners are turning to Johnny because they're paying him half Sonny's rate. Sonny said he wants to kill Johnny, but he's worried a judge won't free Michael if he starts a gang war, so he has to find a way to keep his hands clean. Kristina walked in just as Bernie said there's no way to buy off Johnny. She demanded to know what exactly Sonny is doing to free Michael. He asked her to trust him, but she admitted that she doesn't. She used to be jealous of Michael spending time with Sonny, but now she knows she was the lucky one. "I want you to know who I am," Sonny said. "I like swimming. I'm a pretty good cook." Eyes welling with tears, she said she hates him for dangling father/daughter bonding that never really happens. She started crying with fear over Michael. They both admitted they hated Claudia, but Krissy noted, "I can hate someone without wanting them dead." Sonny insisted he loves his children. "You always apologize and promise to fix it," she cried. "But somehow it only gets worse." Later, Sonny summoned Claire to reiterate that he never hit Claudia. He promised his mother that he would never hit a woman. Then Sonny asked her (for Michael's sake) to leave him alone and go after Johnny instead. At the pier, Johnny told Lucky he's pushing Sonny so hard that he will have to pull the trigger himself, giving the cops everything they want. Meanwhile, Sonny offered to set Johnny up for attempted murder.
Thursday
Brook Lynn told Dante she came to Port Charles to get away from the old neighborhood. Then she related seeing Johnny get angry when Carly mentioned that Olivia had dinner with Sonny. Dante worried that Sonny might be using Liv to get to him. He admitted he was angry that Liv didn't tell him who his father is, but now he's mostly over it. Then Lulu arrived, looking to pick up Kate's food. Brook Lynn retreated, but eavesdropped. Lulu offered Dante one wish... On the pier, Lucky bristled at Johnny's suggestion that he's on Sonny's payroll — after all, Sonny was like an uncle to him growing up, and he rented a room from Jason. Lucky warned that if Johnny starts a war, Lucky will pursue both him and Sonny. But the more he sees of reckless Johnny, the more he likes Sonny. Also? He hates Johnny for luring Ethan into his battle. Dante went to the station and told Ronnie that the search of Sonny's place turned up nothing — which made Ronnie question his impartiality. Later, Dante and Lucky discussed Johnny being loose cannon, but agreed they need to concentrate on Sonny. Later, Lulu ran into Brook Lynn, who helped with the groceries. Brook Lynn admired Dante's place, and asked if Lulu is in love with him. Then Dante returned. Brook Lynn asked Lulu to recommend that Carly hire Brook Lynn to sing at the Metro Court.
Sonny proposed that Claire back-burner putting him in jail to team up against Johnny. He was wary of a double-cross after his experience with Dante, but she noted that's a chance he will have to take. Sonny told her he never saw himself as a father, but then Michael and the other kids changed his mind. Claire admitted that she chose to put her career ahead of motherhood. Sonny admitted he wants to kill Johnny, but is willing to do the right thing and work with the authorities. Claire agreed — and told him that next time he can save the "father of the year garbage," because she isn't buying it. Sonny told Max about the deal with Claire. He proposed giving Johnny a reason to come after him and let the cops scoop up Johnny.
At Pentonville, Michael was giving Jason the lay of the land when Jason suddenly commanded, "Hit me!" Michael didn't want to, but Jason provoked him into taking a swing in anger — which Jason easily evaded. Jason then channeled Yoda and warned Michael not to give in to emotion and become careless. He showed Michael a few self-defense moves. When he suggested that Michael has an advantage because he looks weak, Michael thought Jason was calling him a victim. "You have no idea how hard I fought," Michael snapped. Jason confided that people used to underestimate him when he looked young. Michael saw the wisdom in taking advantage of that. Later, Jason asked the guard who attacked Michael. Suddenly, Michael pushed Jason away, insisting Jason drop the issue.
At G.H., Lisa prepared to operate on a traffic victim — with Steve. Patrick got upset because he figured she was letting her personal feelings for Steve interfere with patient care. She became indignant. Robin noted that Steve is a brilliant trauma surgeon, and accused Patrick fearing a little competition. Patrick claimed her specialty offered no competition, and she got offended.
Tracy was furious that it took Luke so long to figure out she was missing, and vowed never to forgive him. Tracy was jealous that Helena claimed she "completes" Luke. Tracy accused him of sleeping with Skye. He denied it, noting he doesn't cheat on her anymore, because she ruined him for other women. Tracy remained skeptical. At Metro Court.
Claire assured Lucky she is going to bring down Sonny. Lucky warned her not to join the ranks of Hannah, Reese and Alexis — former enemies who succumbed to Sonny's charms. Elsewhere, Max and Milo grabbed Johnny and brought him to Sonny.
Friday
At Dante's loft, he, Brook and Lulu discussed Brook scoring a singing gig at the Metro Court. Dante asked Lulu to bend Carly's ear. Then, they recapped the whole Michael situation, citing it as the source of the tension between Carly and Lulu. Lulu laughed it off, assuring them she'd talk to Carly for Brook. Dante and Lulu invited Brook to stay for dinner. As Brook began reminiscing about the old neighborhood, Lulu got called away to work...so Dante hit up Brook to cook for him! Brook inexplicably vanished for a while as Dante received a visit from his Dimpled Don daddy. Sonny warned Dante about Johnny taking Olivia down with him and asked Dante to get through to her. Later, Brook chopped tomatoes (it's apparently a thing at Chez Falconeri) and talked about her good experiences with Sonny. Elsewhere, Lulu asked Carly if Brook could score a singing gig. Back at Dante's, he and Brook talked about Sonny's cooking skills and continued to bond.
At Pentonville, Michael snapped at Jason for making things harder for him and then they made amends. At the PCPD, Lucky warned Claire about dealing with Sonny and she assured him she still intends to bring down the Dimpled Don. "I know his act," she insisted. Lucky noted there were only two women who could keep up with Sonny: Carly and Diane! Claire assured him that she doesn't want to save the "brutal, narcissistic thug," just put him away for "20 to life." Claire wondered how Lucky knows so much about Sonny, and he insisted there's no conflict of interest. He offered more free advice about dealing with Johnny and Sonny, and she asked him out for drinks sometime. Meanwhile, Olivia interrupted Sonny, Max and Milo threatening Johnny. She blasted Sonny for pulling this stunt while Michael was in jail. The men kept posturing, so Olivia warned Sonny he had "three minutes to end this pissing contest before I call 911." Sonny told Johnny he's out of his league and Johnny told him "time's up; it's my turn now." Carly showed up at Pentonville's luxury visitors' suite, shocked by Michael's bruises. She then wasted no time blaming Dante for Michael's incarceration. Then, Kristina visited Michael. They traded tasteless jokes excusing being hit, before moving on to deeper topics like enjoying every moment of your freedom. In another visiting room, Jason assured Carly he'd get Michael through this and tried to dissuade her from punishing Dante and Lulu...without any luck. Visitors' Day continued as Sam told Jason she'd been denied for conjugal visits since they weren't married. Back at Casa Corinthos, Sonny gave Max permission to burn down Johnny's garage if necessary and Olivia stormed in to ask Sonny to stop what he was doing. Sonny refused to back down. "I will see Johnny Zacchara dead," he promised.
Kristina visited Nikolas at Wyndemere, talking about how she was starting to feel better but worried about Michael, too. Nikolas updated her on Warren and the wrongful death suit and told her about inviting Elizabeth and the boys to come live with him. Helena listened in, gleeful. She made a beeline to Lucky, dismissing Claire as his "secretary" and asking why he won't "allow" Liz to shack up with Nikolas. Lucky was baffled, noting his only responsibility is to Cameron and Jake. Helena stirred the pot a little more and left. At GH, Shirley announced a jewelry sale over the PA like it was a K-Mart Blue Light Special. Epiphany wasn't havin' that and instructed Liz to wheel her back to her room. There, Elizabeth kvetched about the prospect of moving to Wyndemere. Shirley urged her to give it some thought and "try something new." Out and about with coffees, Kristina begged Sam to let her visit Pentonville, and Sam gave her a quick 411 on prisons. Back at Wyndemere, Lucky talked to Nikolas about Helena, Liz and the cohabitation. Nikolas claimed Liz was stonewalling him in the hopes of Lucky coming back. They went a few rounds, Spencer/Cassadine-style. "I'm not taking second place anymore," Nikolas warned. Lucky surmised a part of Nikolas had hated him all along and blasted him as a lying bastard "without a moral bone in your body." They both played the fathers-who-rape card, and then Lucky refused to keep going and walked out.
