Monday

Carly told Jax that Michael might not have had to kill Claudia if Jax hadn't covered up Jerry's involvement in his shooting. Jax was incredulous that she wants to cover up the murder. When he pointed out that he forgave her for sleeping with Sonny, she said that was his fault, too. She was horrified that he let Michael live with Claudia. Jax countered that Sonny took Michael to the warehouse to begin with, and then married Claudia. Carly's final point was that Sonny took decisive action immediately rather than sitting on proof that Claudia was responsible. Carly accused Jax of not loving Michael as much as Morgan or, especially, Josslyn; he tried to protect his brother and his daughter at everyone else's expense. She ordered him to leave — or she will. So he left. When he filled in Alexis, she admitted she can see Carly's point. Jax copped to having other secrets that Carly wouldn't like. Back home, Lady Jane visited Josslyn.

Johnny went to Sonny and demanded to know how his sister died — and if Sonny did it. "Your sister went away," was all Sonny would admit. Meanwhile, Jason told Michael that killing is a heavy responsibility, no matter how much the person deserved it. Michael asked if Stone Cold feels guilty every time he kills, but Jason deflected the conversation. Michael admitted: "I did it, and I'm not sorry." Jason said, "You're better than I am," but Michael disagreed and stormed out. Jason flashed back to vowing to watch over the infant Michael. Then Sam arrived to report that she has to go make a statement — and fears Lucky might be able to tell she's lying. Jason worried that covering up the murder is hurting Michael, because he seems unfazed by killing. Jason wondered if a lifetime of violence has tainted the kid, and if Michael would have been better off raised by the Quartermaines.

Dominic ran into Lulu at Kelly's, and warned her to cool it with the cop jokes, or he could get disappeared. She pointed out that she has to decide whether to let her friend Sonny get busted or to expose new friend Dante. When Dominic wondered what broke up her and Johnny, she fled. Johnny entered, and told Dominic that Sonny informed him he killed Claudia — but not in those words. Dom asked if Johnny wants to make Sonny pay for what he did to Claudia. Olivia visited Sonny to ask what happened to Claudia. "I don't care," he sighed. Olivia admitted she hated Claudia, but her killer deserves to be punished. Then she hinted that even after all these years she still has feelings for him.

Kristina brought Kiefer to Kelly's, where he baited Michael into a scuffle. After Michael left, Kristina blamed their father for Michael's lack of self-control. Now that she's seen her dad lose his temper, she's frightened of him. Kiefer asked if she thinks Sonny killed Claudia; she nodded and started crying. Michael told Max and Milo that Kiefer got rough with Kristina and needs to be taught a lesson. When Michael told Sonny about sending the boys on a job, Sonny scolded him and warned him to keep his hands clean. "I already killed Claudia!" Michael countered — just as Dominic walked in. Meanwhile, The Secret Lair of Doom contained photos of Claudia's corpse and a re-creation of the cabin with chalk body outline.

At G.H., Nikolas and Elizabeth made out in a supply closet, while just outside, Mayor Floyd demanded Lucky take quick action on the Claudia case; after all, Sonny threatened to kill his wife at the party. While Nik and Liz eavesdropped, Lucky vowed to conduct a good investigation — and pointed out Sonny made no actual threats. After Floyd left, Lucky told Rebecca that she and Nik are the catalyst for him and Liz getting restarted. Liz got teary as she listened to Lucky talk about Cameron. "I hate myself," she later told Nik. After Nikolas left, Lucky walked up and asked why she's upset. "I've been sleeping with Nikolas ever since the night of the carnival," she said. When Nikolas returned, Lucky pulled out his gun and shot him!

Tuesday

Lady Jane arrived to visit her new granddaughter and was shocked when Carly told her that she'd asked Jax to move out. Lady Jane was sympathetic when she learned that Jax had lied to her. Carly then explained Jerry's part in Michael's shooting. Lady Jane agreed that Carly's anger was justified but reminded her that Jax was only trying to protect her and the baby with his silence.

Jason and Sam discussed Michael's predicament. Jason lamented being a bad influence on the boy.

At Casa de Corinthos, Dominic walked in while Michael was talking to his dad about killing Claudia. Sonny chastised Dominic for "sneaking up" on him, then dismissed Michael. Dom informed Sonny that everyone believes Claudia's dead and her death is now threatening to undo the Corinthos/Zacchara alliance.

At G.H., Elizabeth confessed to Lucky that she was sleeping with Nikolas. Lucky was furious and when Nik came around the corner, Lucky pulled a gun and shot his brother. "What have you done?" Liz screamed. Liz suddenly shook herself out of her daydream. She told Lucky that she was thinking of a patient and lost herself for a minute. Lucky asked Elizabeth to dinner to celebrate their engagement.

After Kristina left Kiefer at Kelly's, Michael and Milo showed up and put the squeeze on him. They destroyed his phone but didn't injure the arrogant cad. Mike gave Milo his food and turned a blind eye.

Johnny went to visit Anthony in prison and informed his father of what happened with Claudia. Anthony was angry and grief-stricken.
Lady Jane visited Jax at Metro Court to bubble over Josslyn and urge him to beg for Carly's forgiveness. He noted he was trying to be reasonable, but she told him to grovel, because, "Your family is at stake." Back at home, Carly told Morgan that she and Jax are spending some time apart. Morgan accused her of messing things up. Then Jason arrived, and Carly started crying on his shoulder. He suggested that covering up Michael's crime was a mistake. Carly offered to go to the police, but Jason said Michael will be forever tainted by this. Carly lamented losing her son to Sonny's world, then later called Max to tell him she's coming to pick up Michael. Before she could leave, Alexis arrived, saying Jax wants to compromise. Carly was suspicious that Jax had retained her as a custody attorney. Jason took Jax into the back room at the restaurant, where Jax insisted he wants what's best for Carly. Jason said Carly "wants to be able to trust you."

At G.H., a distraught Elizabeth told Nikolas that Lucky wants to take her dinner. She wondered why she can't stop cheating on him. "Because we can't," Nik sighed. Aboard The Haunted Star, Lucky told Luke he has to arrest him for "noise citations." But, really, he just wanted peace for his dinner with Elizabeth. Luke was surprised that Lucky is investing so much in Liz. "This is love," Lucky replied, pointing out he's trying to avoid his father's "miserable mistakes" at family life. Later, Luke summoned Nikolas to the Star and revealed he knows about the affair with Liz, and advised him to come clean to his brother. Just then, Lucky and Liz arrived.

When Kristina answered Kiefer's summons, he told her Max and Milo broke his phone and warned him to respect her. He accused her of telling her father to send his goons, then called her "a stupid bitch" and slapped her across the face.

At the prison, Johnny recapped Claudia's "disappearance" for Anthony, pointing out that Sonny did not deny killing his sister. Anthony flipped out over losing his daughter, and insisted on revenge. Then a guard announced he had another visitor: Sonny. At the restaurant, Sam ran into Dominic, who asked what happened to Claudia, which made her suspicious. Dominic explained he was trying to quell panic in the ranks. Sam said she doesn't know anything and suggested Claudia may have escaped. Back at prison, Sonny told Anthony that Claudia could be on the run, but Anthony was skeptical. Anthony said he bears no grudge for Claudia's disappearance and offered peace. The bosses shook on it. Later, Anthony ordered Joey Limbo to kill Sonny. Back at Sonny's place, Michael offered to help his father "take care of business." Sonny said, "This is not what I wanted for you." But Michael pointed out his name is Michael Corinthos III.

Wednesday

Alexis assured Carly she's just trying to help Jax — who meant well. Carly admitted she loves him, but doesn't know if she can forgive him. Alexis urged her not to fixate on laying blame. Meanwhile, Jason told Jax he cannot get in the middle of their marriage: "I am done telling Carly what to do." He suggested Jax convince Carly he cares about all her kids equally. When Carly burst in, she instantly realized Jax was trying to recruit Jason to finesse her, and the fireworks reignited. Jax said covering up the murder condemns Michael to a life in the mob, and stormed out. Carly wondered if she should forgive Jax. Jason said she will if she wants to, but he won't tell her what to do because every time he talked her into going back to Sonny in the past, he was wrong. She said her main concern is Michael, so she's going to bring him home from Sonny's. After she left, Sam stopped by, pretending to ask about a case when she really just wanted to make out. They started getting busy, then Alexis burst in.

At Sonny's place, Dominic "helped" the maid by gathering up the fireplace ashes — which made Michael suspicious (and surly). Lulu arrived and told Michael how Dom helped her in the flooding cellar. Later, at Kelly's, Lulu told Olivia that Dom saved her life — and she knows that he's Dante the cop, her son. Olivia pointed out she's tried to get him off the case. When Lulu suggested telling Sonny who Dominic is before he does any damage, Olivia said Sonny can be very vengeful. Since revealing the truth will destroy Dante's life, she begged Lulu to keep his secret as payback for saving her life. Later, Ronnie went to Dante's room, where Dante gave him the ashes. He thinks Sonny burned his bloody shirt, and the ashes may contain Claudia's blood and Sonny's DNA, which — for some reason — he thinks will "go a long way" to proving Sonny killed her. When a skeptical Ronnie tried to leave, a curious Lulu was outside the door.

At The Haunted Star, Nikolas challenged Luke to tell Lucky about the affair with Elizabeth. When Lucky asked if Luke approves of them getting remarried, he said, "I do," noting they deserve happiness after all their tribulations. Lucky said he and Liz are sure of their relationship, and left. Luke told Nik to stop cuckolding his brother. Nik accused Luke of stealing Laura from his pal Scotty. "That was different," Luke scoffed, prompting Nik to point out that he didn't rape Liz. Luke said he never cuckolded his brother, and never justified his actions by accusing someone else of being worse. At the restaurant, Lucky said he used to be close to Luke, but now his father is tossing around veiled threats. Elizabeth wondered if Lucky is trying to "fix" his parents' marriage vicariously, but he denied it. She said she made a list of fond memories they'd shared, and he said they can make new ones, now that they have grown up, and urged her to trust him. "You're my first love, and my last," he said, pulling out an engagement ring. She got teary and said she's afraid of losing him if they get married. He told her they can get past whatever she's done. She started to tell him, but then Nikolas and Rebecca walked in.

At G.H., Robin was instantly jealous when Patrick got a text from ex-girlfriend Lisa, who is now a doctor and wants a "consult." Outside Kelly's, Kiefer apologized while Kristina scolded him for hitting her. Realizing she can't go home with a fat lip, he took her to G.H., where Robin immediately spotted her. Kiefer said K tripped and fell.

When Carly got to Sonny's, Max mentioned strong-arming Kiefer. Then Michael refused to go home with his mother, because he "belongs" with his father, who understands him.

Thursday

Carly told Sonny she wants Michael to go home with her, but he didn't agree. She suggested making Michael go for a justifiable homicide defense, but Sonny scoffed at that. Sonny vowed to keep Michael out of the mob, but insisted the kid needs his help dealing with the killing, then sent her home. At Jason's office, Alexis tried to retreat from Jason and Sam, but got locked in. Alexis assured her daughter she's not judging her, and won't say anything. After Alexis left, Sam asked Jason why they can't admit they're in a relationship? He said he doesn't want to "expect more than you can give me." They tried to kiss, but Carly called, begging him to intervene with Sonny. Carly went home and confronted Jax, who apologized for not telling her about Jerry's DVD. She said she now knows he's willing to lie to her if he thinks there's a good reason. He insisted he loves her, and wants to bond with their new baby. She let him stay — in the guest room. Later, Jax told Josslyn that Dominic is going to put Carly's ex behind bars. When Jason got to Sonny's, the boss said he's not giving up on Michael. Jason said Michael will admire Sonny and want to follow in his footsteps even more if he hangs around. Michael eavesdropped as Sonny insisted Michael will not be allowed to join the family business. Jason said, "I don't want Michael to be like me; I don't want Michael to be like you." Sonny feared Michael would think he's turning his back on him, but Jason said a good father "puts his kids first." So Sonny called Carly and told her she can pick up Michael. When she arrived, Sonny told Michael he is not allowed to follow in his footsteps. Michael agreed to abide by his decision — for now. But he will be an adult soon, and calling his own shots one day. Sonny realized Michael "sounds just like me."

At Dominic's room, Ronnie told Lulu he's taking out the trash, and left. Lulu asked Dante what case he's building against Sonny. She said if she doesn't warn Sonny, then she's betraying him. She pointed out that Sonny has made generous donations to charity. "Sonny is a good man," she insisted. Dante said there's one thing he wants to do before Sonny whacks him: Take her to dinner. At the restaurant, Dante talked about how he grew up cooking and playing stickball, and she told him about running from bounty hunters and eating snake for breakfast.

Nikolas asked if he and Rebecca could join Lucky and Elizabeth's romantic dinner party. Then Rebecca noticed the engagement ring. Lucky asked them to leave, but the crashers insisted on staying. Liz agreed to let them stay, to see what real love is like. Lucky delivered a romantic speech to Liz, who responded with, "You are the only man that I want," while Nik fumed. Then Nik toasted Liz and his brother. Later, at the studio, Liz blasted Nik for ruining the romantic dinner. He insisted he was just trying to relieve the tension between them. She pointed out she always loved Lucky and always will. He wanted to know where that leaves him. She called having sex with him the stupidest thing she's ever done. "I should hate you for this," she said. He urged her to admit her feelings for him, but she threw him out. He reminded her, "If you want me, yo know where I am." Then Liz flashed back to her "permanent lock" vows with Lucky in the chapel. On cue, Lucky arrived with flowers, and asked what she was about to tell him before Nik interrupted. Meanwhile, Nik returned to Wyndemere and began making love with Rebecca. Back at the studio, Lucky begged Liz to tell him what's wrong. She said, "We do belong together," and they made love.

Friday

Nikolas went to the Quartermaine crypt to acknowledge the anniversary of Emily's death — and confess he's ashamed of trysting with Elizabeth. Just then, Lucky arrived with flowers. They shared memories of the old days, and Lucky encouraged Nik to hang in there with Rebecca. He added that he realizes that watching him and Liz get back together is tough on Nik. Nikolas apologized for using Emily's death as an excuse to act out. Lucky said Emily would be glad Nik is with Rebecca. At the G.H. Hub, Rebecca approached a surly Liz, who snarked at her about Emily's death day. Rebecca said mentioning Emily is a no-win situation for her. Liz blasted Rebecca for blowing up Nikolas' life just when he was pulling it back together. Rebecca insisted Nik has moved on, and "I'm the woman in his bed." She wondered why Liz was worried about Nik when she just got engaged to Lucky. Later, Elizabeth went to Emily's crypt and confessed to scolding her sister. She lamented being engaged to Lucky while sleeping with his brother. She loves Lucky, but her body wants to be with Nikolas. Back at G.H., Rebecca asked Lucky for advice dealing with his brother. "Just be with him," Lucky said.

Carly warned Michael not to brag about being a killer. He pointed out there is no evidence of his culpability and left. Later, Jax claimed he loves changing Josslyn's diaper. Carly recounted how she wanted to turn Michael in, but Jax urged her not to, because Sonny destroyed all the evidence that Claudia's death was accidental, so Michael will go to prison. At the pier, Kristina insisted to Michael she fell down some stairs, and blasted him for sending thugs — just like their "psycho" father, who's a "maniac." Michael called her "ridiculous" and got in her face. Just then Ethan arrived and chased Michael off. Enchanted, Kristina asked for Ethan's number (and got it). At Crimson, Maxie noted Spinelli has been moody and demanding. On cue, he arrived with flowers. She reminded him of Kate's flower ban. Lulu said Maxie was upset over putting together an art show with a reclusive artist.

At the pier, Dante was pressing Ronnie for results of the analysis of the ashes when Sonny interrupted to demand Ronnie share intel with Dominic. Ronnie said some Zaccharas are concerned about Claudia, but others like the profits since Sonny took over. Sonny ordered Dom to investigate Joey Limbo. After driving all night, Jason told Sam he was conflicted because he has to send a clear warning statement to Sonny's enemies — one Michael will see. He doesn't want the kid thinking he's a hypocrite. Sam suggested using somebody else to "stop" Joey. Dominic arrived to tell Jason he's willing to do anything necessary to stop Joey, adding that the Zaccharas are split, so war will hinge on how Sonny deals with Joey. "Use me," Dom said. Meanwhile, Sonny met with Luke at Pozzulo's to ask Luke to broker a truce directly with Joey, cutting out Anthony. Dante went back to his room, where Ronnie was waiting to tell him that forensics found evidence of Sonny's DNA and Claudia's blood among the ashes. Dante went to ask Jax if he will testify about what Sonny was wearing that night. Jax told him to do his job — as Carly walked in. In the back room, Sonny told Jason about his peace plan, and how he cannot afford any surprises. As "Mad World" played, someone took photos of what appeared to be a recreation of Claudia's murder — complete with a body.
