Monday

Carly and Jax discussed Nik's recent angry outbursts. Jax mentioned Nikolas had slipped into a sort of "blackout state," which prompted Carly to wonder out loud whether Nikolas may have been capable of killing Leticia.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas told Emily about a party he was planning for her, but was miffed when she asked if he felt up to throwing a party "in his condition." He insisted he was fine, much to Emily's dismay. Alexis overheard their conversation and questioned Nikolas about the severity of his condition. Presently, Jax appeared and pulled Nikolas aside to inform him that he knew he had stabbed Jerry. Later still, Carly confronted Nikolas about whether or not he remembered what he was doing the night Jerry was stabbed. This led an enraged Nikolas to lash out at Carly and declare that the only one he'd stab was her, for having taken his kids away from him.

Jason questioned a defiant Johnny about the role he may have played in Leticia's murder. Johnny insisted he was just in Port Charles "visiting" and had nothing to do with the murder. When Jason asked about his involvement with Lulu, Johnny admitted she might be "more trouble than she's worth." Meanwhile, Trevor made it clear to Sonny that Anthony Zacchara wouldn't deal well with the ultimatum Sonny was throwing his way — a meeting in exchange for his son, Johnny. Later, Carly paid Jason a little visit, announcing she really didn't think Johnny was guilty. She then described Nikolas' blackouts to Jason, including the fact that Emily had been covering for him and had even gone to Jerry to ask about any possible side effects the poison injections might have had.

Luke confronted Logan about his dealings with Maxie. Then he questioned his "gumdrop," Lulu, about why she would ever consider getting back together with Logan. He insisted Scott was merely using Lulu to get back at him because he was still obsessed with Laura. Lulu made it very clear to her father that this was her decision to make. Luke poured out his grief to Lesley, who advised him that the more he forbade Lulu from seeing Logan, the more she would be drawn to him — not unlike how Laura felt about Luke all those years ago.

Robin brought Lainey up to date with her baby-making plans, including Patrick's dismissal of her plans as just a means of helping her get through their break-up. Lainey then asked Robin if she knew of a lawyer who would be willing to help defend Cody in court. A wary Robin questioned Lainey's motives and wondered if maybe her interest in Cody went beyond just gratitude for granting her father his wish. Robin suggested going to Sonny and seeing if he would allow Diane to represent Cody.

Tuesday

Luke told Lulu she doesn't have to forgive Logan just because Laura forgave Luke. Lulu said Scott dropping the charges against Luke gave her an excuse to give Logan a second chance, because she feels better forgiving him. Luke feared she was being played. Tracy comforted Luke, who refused to chase after Lulu. He said Laura's forgiveness allowed them to have a life, but now Lulu thinks the love of a good woman can save any man. Tracy pointed out that's the way it is with women — but she's not trying to "save" Luke, because she loves him the way he is.

At Metro Court, Trevor dispatched men to bring Johnny home, then told Diane to tell Sonny to leave Johnny alone. Spinelli (dressed like a "gangster") met Logan at the Metro Court bar. When Logan revealed he's back with Lulu, Spinelli was skeptical. Milo sent Spinelli to meet Sonny. Jax suggested to Sonny that Nikolas killed Leticia without knowing it. A skeptical Sonny suggested Nik could be doing "some Cassadine thing." Later, in Sonny's study, Diane relayed Trevor's message, but Sonny still wanted to grab Johnny and hold him for leverage. Diane flipped out that he discussed "business" in her presence, making her an accessory, so she insisted he not kidnap Johnny — and start speaking "hypothetically." When Spinelli arrived Sonny ordered him to get the 411 on Anthony Zacchara.

Carly tried to talk Nikolas into dropping the letter opener he held to her throat, but he was finally convinced when Max drew his gun. Nik dropped his weapon and seemed confused. Later, back at home, Carly scolded Max for needlessly "rescuing" her. When Max told Jax what happened, Carly ranted, "You betrayed me," and threw him out. Then Jax and Carly quarreled. Meanwhile, at Windemere, Emily told Nik that Alexis is moving the girls out. He confessed he had another blackout and almost killed Carly. He anguished over it and promised to get tested by Patrick tomorrow morning. He worried about harming Spencer or Emily, but she vowed to never leave him. Carly insisted she wanted to find Leticia's killer. Jax said she's shutting him out, so what does that say about their marriage?

Elsewhere, Diane ran into Max at the Metro bar. They bought each other martinis and commiserated over working for Sonny and Carly, whom they agreed are selfish and ungrateful. As they continued to get sloshed, she obsessed about fashion and shoes, and he obsessed about Carly. Finally, they shouted in unison, "I need something real," then eyed each other hungrily. Later, he realized he still had a hotel passkey. They rushed upstairs and started devouring each other, but Max balked: "I can't cheat on Mrs. C.," he sighed and fled.

Kate visited Sonny, who wanted to talk about "us." He warned her that people he cares about get caught in the crossfire (and explosions!) of his life.
She said she likes the way her life has been turned upside down by him. He said he regretted that she lost everything because of him. Her back hurt, so he sent her upstairs to draw a bath. Spinelli burst in to say Anthony Zacchara has a legal residence in New York, but he's become a recluse. Sonny ordered him to find Zacchara. Eavesdropping from upstairs, Kate called down to ask Sonny not to meet with Zacchara.

Lulu was walking along the road when Johnny lucked upon her. She told him she was running away from a fight with her father. Johnny revealed his mother was shot to death when he was eight, so his father is overprotective. Lulu explained the convoluted Logan/Maxie wager. Lulu suggested Johnny flee the country. He noticed a suspicious car and rushed Lulu into his own car and prepared to flee.

Wednesday

Robin told Patrick that her baby plans stopped being his problem when they stopped seeing each other. Patrick asked her not to go through with it just to spite him, but she insisted he "stay out of this." Later, Patrick ran into Leyla, who said they shouldn't see each other socially anymore because they work together. Then he overheard Robin inviting Jax to lunch in order to offer him "a proposition." When he later saw Robin run off, Patrick summoned Carly and told her Robin wants Jax to father her baby. Robin met Jax at Metro Court and asked about his marriage and being a stepdad. Then she revealed her maternal ambitions and asked him to think about donating DNA. Carly burst in and said there was "no way in hell" Jax would do that (while Patrick watched).

Max apologized when Carly arrived at Sonny's office. Sonny told Carly not to take advantage of Max's crush. Diane arrived and extracted Max's explanation for last night: He was tailing Carly on Sonny's orders and saved her from Nikolas. When Diane and Max left, Sonny said Max should have shot Nik. In the coffee shop, Max made a fool of himself in front of Diane, who fled.
Sonny said Jax told him Nik stabbed Jerry, which was news to Carly. Sonny wondered if she was acting out over problems between her and Jax. She confessed they had a "complicated" summer. He said she has to stop endangering herself, but she scoffed at making any promises.

Alice was serving Luke breakfast in the Q study when Logan arrived, looking for Lulu. Tracy threw him out, but he promised that no one would keep away him from Lulu. At that very moment, Lulu was snoozing in Johnny's car in a field. He awakened Lulu with coffee, and told her his father's men were looking to grab her in order to control him. During a commercial break Johnny moved the car to a cabin. They realized that Johnny's handlers now know she is important to him. Back at the Q manse, Alan appeared to Tracy, who railed about Lulu/Logan. Luke arrived, and Tracy told him about Lulu encountering Johnny Zacchara. Lulu picked the lock on the fishing cabin and mulled what to do next. A man with a rifle lurked outside the window.

Logan sought out Lucky at the PCPD to voice his worries about Lulu. Ric entered and chased Logan, then asked about Lucky's divorce. He apologized for bringing up Liz's affair at Jason's trial. Lucky realized Ric wants his help in the vendetta against Jason, but he wouldn't bite. Meanwhile, Emily helped Elizabeth settle into her new house.

Alexis met Jax at Metro Court, where he said Nik stabbed Jerry. She was skeptical, so Jax recounted the letter-opener incident. Alexis recalled Nik throwing a glass at her. Later, Alexis traded insults with Diane. Alexis proposed a 50/50 custody split or she would make a child-endangerment case against Jason. Diane countered that Cameron is not available for visitation since he's not Lucky's biological son -- and oh, by the way, Lucky being a junkie is the real threat to the children. Diane demanded Liz get full custody and Lucky be allowed visitation. Later, Diane reported to Liz that she has a strong case to keep the children. Meanwhile, Alexis prompted Lucky to file for emergency custody of the kids. He signed off to protect "my son."

Luke asked Sonny about the Zaccharas; Sonny recounted his suspicions about Leticia murder. Luke asked if Johnny is involved in the family business, because he's concerned about Lulu. Meanwhile, at the shack, the rifleman burst inside and tried to shoot someone at close range (with a rifle?). Johnny recognized him as a total amateur (He should have used the scope to shoot through the window!), disarmed the thug and prepared to kill him — but Lulu begged him not to shoot.

Thursday

Carly ordered Jax to reject Robin: "Donate one drop of genetic material and we are done!" She went on to claim "exclusive" rights her husband's "body" and "genetic material." (Hmmm...does that mean Carly's body is also Jax's to do with as he pleases?) Jax asserted it was his decision but rejected Robin, citing his surrogate experience. Later, after stalking off and cooling off, Carly scolded Jax for "considering" helping Robin. He sad he turned down Robin because he wants Carly to be the mother of his child.

Robin found Patrick at the nurses' station and blasted him for interfering. Patrick suggested it's a bad idea to make a baby with a social acquaintance. She asked if he's angry she didn't ask him. He was glad she didn't, because he would refuse. They broke up because he didn't want a family; he thinks she's just trying to prove him wrong. If she really wants a kid, then why not adopt "a baby who really needs a mother?"

Sonny told Luke that Johnny is a wild card like his father, and promised his men would watch for Lulu. Luke realized Johnny would be "an important bargaining chip," but Sonny warned him off. Meanwhile, at the fishing cabin, Lulu told Johnny that if he kills the man he captured, he will have to kill her, too, or she'll rat him out. Johnny released the man — who turned out to be the cabin's owner. Johnny gave him a wad of cash to let them stay a while. At the penthouse, Jason asked Spinelli to trace Johnny's car. Kate arrived to ask Jason to keep Sonny away from Zacchara. She said she suddenly remembered visiting one of Trevor's clients in a small Hudson River town. Lulu scolded Johnny, who boasted about living "outside the law." Later Spinelli told Jason he uncovered hits on Johnny's credit cards and reports of his car going into mountains with a blonde passenger. Kate arrived at Sonny's cafe to warn him away from Zacchara and to reveal she might know where to find the mobster: "a place called Crimson Point." Meanwhile, Johnny balked at talking about his father and left Lulu. Kate recounted Trevor taking her inside a walled estate and overhearing someone say "Mr. Z" wasn't doing well because his wife had died. Kate got the impression that someone had killed her.

At Elizabeth's new house, Diane warned her that the custody battle will be ugly. Emily accused Diane of being "combative." Diane reminded Liz she could end it all by revealing Jake's true father, but Liz refused. Diane received a call informing her that Lucky filed for emergency guardianship of Jake. At Windemere, Alfred awakened Nikolas, who asked that all sharp objects be removed from his vicinity. Alfred suggested postponing the masked ball, but Nik didn't want to disappoint Emily. Lucky barged in and told Nik about the custody petition. Lucky asked if he's doing the right thing. Nik said, if you have to ask, that's your answer. Nik suggested telling Alexis to back off, but Lucky feared losing all visitation rights. Later, Lucky visited, claiming the petition was a negotiating tactic. Then Alexis arrived, followed closely by Diane, who sad the judge had ruled on the petition. Liz asked what will happen to her children.

Skye visited Ric to ask about a play date for Lila Rae and Molly. They discussed how they both want only the best for their respective children, including the happiness they themselves never had growing up. Skye explained that little girls are hard-wired to hero-worship their fathers, so he shouldn't let Alexis push him out of the picture.

Johnny was stunned when he returned to the cabin to find Jason waiting with the rifle, but no Lulu. She was at a pizza stand, and ran into a couple of thugs who demanded to know where Johnny is. She acted tough, so they snatched her.

Friday

Carly was surprised that Jax wants to "have a baby of our own," and suspicious of his timing. He insisted it had nothing to do with Robin; he simply realized Carly would be "an incredible mother." Meanwhile, at GH, Patrick tried to convince Robin to consider adoption, but she was adamant about wanting "the experience" of carrying a baby. She also dismissed the dangers posed by being HIV-positive as infinitesimal. Patrick spouted reams of exposition about how competent Robin is, then accused her of trying to replace him with a child. She accused him of not respecting her. back at Metro Court, Jax sang the praises of fatherhood, but Carly pointed out it's hard for her to get pregnant, so it's going to be a long, ugly process full of doctor's appointments. Ultimately, they agreed the timing isn't right, so they will wait.

At the fishing cabin, Jason faced down Johnny, who feared his father's men might have snatched Lulu. In fact, they had — and when Lulu told the thugs she's pals with Jason and Sonny, they were totally unimpressed. Back in Port Charles, Kate finally relented and described the location of Anthony Zacchara's estate on the Hudson River. Sonny insisted he has to look Zacchara in the eye to intimidate him — and he has to do it tonight. At Metro Court, Ric met with Trevor, who ordered Ric to find Johnny off the record. Ric wondered what Trevor fears. Lulu, meanwhile, had been spirited all the way to Crimson Point, where she managed to knock out her guard and flee — only to stop when she heard a terrible crash and wailing behind closed doors. That allowed the goons to catch up with her and drag her away. Behind those closed doors, a shadowy form paced around a wrecked room. Back in PC, Jason reported to Sonny that he had found Johnny, but allowed the kid to surrender to his father in exchange for Lulu. However, he did get Anthony Zacchara's address. Sonny refused to allow Jason to accompany him because he didn't want to appear threatening. Plus, Sonny had another task for his enforcer: Jason snatched Trevor, who blustered that Sonny doesn't know what he's dealing with. Presumably taking a jet during the commercial break, Sonny arrived at Crimson Point with Max and Milo (with guns drawn — what happened to non-threatening?) and demanded a meeting. Johnny arrived and ordered Sonny taken to his father. Sonny ordered Lulu sent home with Milo.
Back at Sonny's cafe, Ric burst in on Trevor and Jason.

Diane revealed that not only was Lucky's emergency custody petition denied, his visitation rights were suspended, based on his history of substance abuse. Both Diane and Alexis counseled Elizabeth and Lucky not to discuss the situation privately, but they insisted. When he admitted he really would have taken Jake away if his petition was approved, she got so angry she wanted to break off talks. Logan arrived, seeking Lucky's help to find Lulu. Neither Lucky nor Liz knew anything about Lulu, so they threw Logan out, then parted ways themselves. At Wyndemere, Emily and Lucky took sides in Liz and Lucky's case, then progressed to fighting over Jason and Sam.
After much rancor, Emily suggested staying out of Liz and Lucky's marriage.
Later, Lucky was summoned to meet Robin at Metro Court, where she cited the old adventures of the Spencers and Scorpios, and asked if he'd be "interested" in helping her have a baby. At the GH nurses' station, Patrick told Liz that Lucky is on Robin's list of sperm vendors.

Later, Carly returned home (after grocery shopping?) to find Logan looking for Lulu. He forced his way inside then forcefully grabbed her and demanded to know what she knows about Lulu. Back at Crimson Point, Lulu asked Johnny if the prison-like estate was meant to keep enemies out — or Johnny in.
Sonny was brought into the study, where Anthony Zacchara gazed out a window and asked, "Do you garden, Mr. Corinthos?"
