Monday

At the Metro Court, Claire told Carly to stay out of her relationship with Sonny. Before she left, Jax asked her about organizing police protection for Brenda. Carly was none too happy! On the docks, the Balkan's henchman watched Lucky and Jason hatch a plan to trap the Balkan and discuss Siobhan and Brenda. At Jason's, Brenda and Lulu caught up and Brenda masked her
shock at Dante being Lulu's main squeeze. After a few minutes of chat, Lulu revealed she was on a mission from Kate to land Brenda on the cover of Crimson. Brenda was honored but had to decline. Lulu then played the Jax card and kept pitching. Brenda said if Jax asked her himself, "I might consider it." In Sonny's office, he asked an uncomfortable Dante to "be nice" to Brenda. He then vented about how not being able to be with Brenda was killing him. Back on the Elm Street Pier, Lucky's Spidey senses tingled, but he didn't find the hidden henchman. The henchman texted the Balkan as Dante rushed past on a call from Claire. Back at Sonny's office, he forbade Jason to use Brenda as bait to nab the Balkan, citing Brenda's impulsive nature as his reason. At the penthouse, Brenda and Sam had an awkward chat, and then Jax came by, so Brenda rushed off with him. Later, Lulu explained her whole Crimson conundrum to Carly and asked for her help. Jax and Brenda, meanwhile, discussed her Sonny issues at Elm Street Pier (too bad the Balkan's henchman wasn't still lurking there!). Brenda was, as you might expect, the topic of conversation between Dante and Claire. Dante got deja vu as Claire assigned him to be Brenda's bodyguard. At Jason's, he and and Sam cuddled and talked about the plan and Brenda. Jax and Brenda had a fond moment of their own (he touched her cheek)...as Sonny looked on.

A hospitalized Luke tutored Maya on how to continue his conning of Tracy. "I just have to give Tracy the hard-sell," he insisted. Sure enough, he milked it for Tracy's benefit, as Ethan and Maya looked on. Then, a stern Monica came in and it looked like the jig was up...but she ended up confirming that Luke is in "really bad shape." Tracy agreed to see Luke through his recovery and he proposed to her. In the hall, Monica dropped the act; she threatened to throw Maya out of the intern program if she falsified any other patient's records but wished Maya and Ethan success with the plan. At Wyndemere, Siobhan asked Nikolas all about Lucky. He gave his brother a glowing review, while taking jabs at his own failings. When Elizabeth dropped by, Nikolas hurriedly stashed Lucky's Irish import. As Siobhan listened in, Liz outlined her big investment snafu. Nikolas offered to do what he can, but Liz was worried how Lucky would react. On cue, Lucky walked in. Nikolas left them alone (not counting Siobhan!) to talk. Lucky told Liz not to worry about their finances: "We'll figure it out." He warned Liz not to mention him to the boys, as he's undercover. When she left, Siobhan emerged and there were some awkward moments with Nikolas and Lucky about everything she'd heard. Siobhan had no illusions about her relationship with Lucky. Lucky said they had more going on than their "mutual need to dodge bullets." When he said they had a plan to catch the Balkan, Siobhan looked forward to getting home to Ireland. Lucky looked sad.

Tuesday

Claire told Dante to protect Brenda, because he had protected her back in 2007. He refused, saying Jason is better for the job. She pointed out that Brenda is the love of Sonny's life, and he's Sonny's son. "Sonny is the exact reason why I can't guard Brenda," he cried, citing the car-bombing probe, but Claire reassigned it, and told him to keep Brenda alive.

Lucky told Siobhan that after the Balkan is dealt with, she can decide what to do next. She hinted that she will remember him well. Lucky called Lulu, and they arranged to meet at the pier. Lulu clued him in on Luke's heart attack con and told Lucky he needs to show up and support the scam -- as one of the Balkan's men eavesdropped. At G.H., Luke assured Tracy that every lie he told was the work of a man in love. He asked her to marry him, but she wanted him to get healthy first. Lucky visited Luke, to support the scheme. Afterward, Lucky returned to Wyndemere and recapped Luke's scam and Luke and Tracy's relationship for Siobhan. Back at G.H., Tracy admitted she's "hopelessly in love with" Luke.

Sam asked Jason to use her instead of Brenda in the fake kidnapping, but Jason balked. Sam pointed out how well they look together. Jason warned that she and Lucky could be killed if the Balkan recognizes she's not Brenda. Jax assured Brenda she can go back to Rome soon. She asked him if he's been to New Orleans lately? But he hadn't. They flashed back to the French Quarter, with Jax declaring his love and getting rained on. "My happiest moments were with you," Brenda confessed. They wondered what might have happened if they had gotten married all those years ago. He insisted he would not trade his wife and daughter for anything. Later, Jax delivered Brenda to the penthouse, where Jason said he had a lead on the Balkan, and planned to hand her over to him! When Jason told Brenda that Sam would pretend to be Brenda, Brenda was furious. Dante arrived and announced he's been assigned as her bodyguard. Brenda tried to refuse, but Jason said he could use the help. Dante promised to be back in the morning. Brenda begged Jason to get another bodyguard. He refused to give in, and Brenda refused to allow Sam to replace her.

Lulu told Carly to urge Jax to ask Brenda to be on the cover of Crimson, but Carly resisted.
Later, Carly was not thrilled to learn Jax had been walking on the pier with Brenda. Carly told him that Lulu fears for her job, but Jax insisted Brenda will never be on the cover of Crimson.

Molly summoned Michael to Kelly's to voice her concerns that Sam feels neglected. She told Michael to tell Jason to make a grand romantic gesture toward Sam. Michael assured her that after getting out of prison, Jason just wants to be with somebody familiar. Then Abby came in, and Molly asked how they know each other. Abby said she's a friend of Sam's. Molly got a call, and had to leave. Abby and Michael apologized to each other for the hotel scene, and decided to have coffee. Abby is studying to be a paralegal, and working her way through school as a stripper. However, she didn't show up that night for the money; she just wanted to help him. Sam had told her the story of Jason going to Pentonville to protect Michael, and Abby and admired that. She wished she had handled it better that night.

When Dante went home, Lulu recapped about Luke's plot and the Crimson cover. Dante told her his new assignment. "Brenda is creeping into every part of my life," Lulu noted, fearing he would get sucked into the "Brenda vortex." "Trust me, I can resist," he promised.
... The Balkan's man reported that "Ronan" is actually an undercover cop.

Wednesday

Today's episode was a re-broadcast. New episodes return Oct. 28.

Thursday

Claire quizzed Alexis about Johnny's car blowing up. Alexis realized Claire is out to get Sonny. Claire wanted to know how far Alexis will go to protect Sonny. Meanwhile, Sonny stopped by Kelly's, ostensibly for a spanish omelette, but Mike realized he was hoping to see Brenda. Sonny recapped about the Balkan, and how he's not hooking up with Brenda. Mike likened Sonny avoiding Brenda to him avoiding gambling.

Jason sought Suzanne's help staging a fake event for a fake Brenda to attend and get fake-kidnapped. Suzanne realized Brenda won't go for it, because Brenda wants Jason to trust her. Nevertheless, Suzanne agreed to provide a distraction.
As Jason and Sam cased the warehouse, he explained his intention to kill the Balkan. Sam worried about him going back to prison.

Dante awoke from a nightmare, shouting "Don't!" Michael noticed, and said, "I think I know exactly what you're going through." Dante said it's a recurring dream about an old case that has suddenly recurred. "I should never have turned you in to the court," Dante sighed, blaming himself for Michael's current torment. They talked about school and Claire taking over the car-bombing case so he can guard Brenda. Michael advised him not to fall in love with Brenda. "That'll never happen," Dante scoffed. Dante went to Kelly's and ran into Olivia, who chided him for not checking more often, and then she invited him and Lulu to dinner — at Johnny's.Johnny, meanwhile, was summoned to Claire's for questioning about the bombing. Then lilies arrived...from Sonny. Johnny pointed out that if she finds proof that Sonny is guilty, she will have to make an interesting decision. Dante begged out of dinner, citing his assignment to guard Brenda.

Michael ran into Abby at Kelly's, and they discussed school. He said he's not going to college — unless his dad or stepdad buys his way in. "Don't throw away your future because you hate where you are now," Abby warned. Ethan answered Johnny's summons to discuss what he will tell Claire about the night of the bombing. Ethan pointed out that had Johnny not pretended to date Krissy, she never would have been endangered. Claire arrived at Sonny's restaurant to thank him for the flowers. He asked her out again. She declined, because he's the top suspect in the car-bombing. And, while she can't be the prosecutor, she can't condone attempted murder, either.

At G.H., Robin asked Elizabeth advice for Emma's birthday party. Liz said to make the day all about Emma. She advised against a clown or pony rides — just get another sheet cake. Steve scheduled a big board meeting for Nov. 3, but that is Emma's birthday, and Patrick had already taken it off. Steve assigned Lisa to assist Patrick with an emergency case. Patrick balked at working with her, but Steve insisted the patient come first, so Patrick agreed. Later, Robin visited Sonny to ask for marriage advice. Sonny blamed Steve for scheduling Lisa and Patrick together. Robin said she can't tolerate Lisa anymore, and Sonny asked if she wants him to...intervene? No, she said. She still loves Patrick, but she's angry. And she misses their life together. When Robin admitted the marriage was worth saving, Sonny advised her to put away her anger and forgive Patrick. Sonny recalled how good it felt when Lily forgave him. Sonny admitted he tends to hold grudges. "It eats you up," he said. "It blinds you to love." Back at G.H., Patrick and Lisa completed the surgery. Robin fumed to hear Patrick compliment Lisa's surgical skills. Liz said Cam and Jake will attend Emma's party. Patrick heard Robin say she will suck it up and cover how she really feel about Patrick attending.

Jason and Sam returned to the penthouse, followed by Dante's arrival for guard duty. Suzanne said an ASEC limo will take Brenda to an interview. Jason spelled out the plan for Dante. Sam came downstairs, dressed as Brenda: "Is this good enough to fool the Balkan?"

Friday

At Kelly's, Candy admitted to Michael that she's made some bad choices — however, stripping is a positive that pays for school. One day she woke up hurting and realized she had to make a change. She called him a great guy. "You don't even know me," he pointed out, worried that he had hurt her, but she reassured him. Michael asked why she doesn't change quit stripping. "I'm a realist," she insisted. Stripping pays well.

Ethan and Johnny entered Kelly's, discussing how Ethan will address Claire's questions. Ethan encouraged Johnny to lie — not for Sonny, but for his kids.

Claire told Sonny she cares about him, but will not look the other way if he planted that car bomb. He said there's no evidence for her to find. As they kissed, she got a call from Ronnie. At her office, Ronnie presented her with wiretaps of Sonny's phone that recorded a man telling Sonny that the bomb has been set. Alexis visited Sonny to warn him that Claire will not forget she's a prosecutor if she finds evidence.

Sam insisted on masquerading as Brenda, and Max and Milo were recruited to help stage the fake kidnapping. Meanwhile, Nikolas tried to talk Lucky out of the plan. Siobhan asked what he's trying to prove. He said it's not just his life at stake: Brenda and Siobhan are targeted, and kids are being enslaved. Siobhan vowed to wait for him to return. At the penthouse, Brenda had a nightmare of watching Dante struggle with a perp. She picked up a gun and shot the baddie, making her awake, screaming. When Spinelli rushed in, she pumped him for details about the plan, manipulating him into revealing the location of scam. Then she tricked him into leaving her alone. She told Jason and Dante the plan won't work, and after Jason left, she reminded Dante that only they know why the Balkan wants her. Later, "Brenda" was walking with her bodyguards when "Ronan" swooped in and nabbed her. Brenda is able get the drop on Dante, hits him with a bottle and heads for the warehouse. At the same time, a restless Siobhan ventures outside and is approached by a menacing figure.

At G.H., Robin told Elizabeth that Emma will dress as a lamb for Halloween. Patrick lied that he cannot join them for trick-or-treating because of a patient. Liz confronted him about lying and missing out on his daughter. He called it the price he pays for the mess he made. Later, Lisa observed Robin dressed in a witch costume wheeling little Emma along. While Robin is distracted, someone else in a witch costume wheels the child away...
