GH Week of October 5, 2009
Monday
Nikolas returned to Wyndemere and demanded to see the letter Elizabeth had
left for him. He told Alfred that he needed to "fix this." Alfred relayed
Liz's desire for some space. Just then, Robin showed up. Nikolas spilled the
beans about him and Liz to Robin, who was stunned. He admitted to having
real feelings for his soon-to-be-sister-in-law, even though he knew it was
wrong. Robin advised Nik to stay away from Liz. When he went to walk Robin
out, Spencer entered the room and started drawing on the back of Liz's
letter. Lucky dropped by and told Nikolas that Elizabeth left town for a few
days to clear her head before the wedding. Just then, Spencer showed Lucky
the picture he drew — on the back of Liz's letter to Nikolas.
Jason told Sam he needs to figure out how to deal with Claudia. Jason
confided in her about his suspicions that Claudia ordered the hit that left
Michael comatose.
Olivia denied Claudia's accusation that Dominic is really Dante, her son
with Sonny. Claudia threatened to go straight to Sonny with the news. "What
do you want?" Olivia barked back. Claudia replied that she wanted Olivia to
break up with Johnny for good. Olivia warned Claudia that if she were to
dump Johnny that Sonny would be all over her, "like a house on fire."
Claudia gave Olivia one day to break up with Johnny or she would blab
everything to Sonny.
Sonny ordered Dominic to "take care" of Tommy Soto, who Dom painted as the
snitch in the organization. Dominic tried to talk Sonny out of killing Tommy
but Sonny was adamant in his decision. Sonny gave the assignment to Johnny,
who had no qualms about taking out Soto. Dominic insisted that he would do
the job, then left in a huff.
In Greece, Lulu showed up at a house pretending to be lost. Ethan knocked
out the man who answered the door. They entered the dwelling only to be met
by two gunmen. Lulu told the men that Nikolas owns the property. Mischa,
Helena's caretaker, noted the exchange. The gunmen ordered the intruders
out. Lulu and Ethan went to a local bar to decide their next move. Mischa
showed up for a glass of wine and Ethan asked the woman to join them. Mischa
warned them that they were in great danger. She explained that she's been
caring for Helena, who's been bedridden for weeks. She also relayed that
Luke was being held prisoner, that she sent out the text messages they
received and that Helena is fearful of a mystery Cassadine.
Jax and the kids met with Carly to discuss the baby's name. Carly told the
kids they can help with names, but the name must begin with a J. The kids
came up with an assortment of J names. Carly asked them to make a list and
said she'd think about their suggestions. Carly fell asleep and dreamed that
she met the teenage version of her daughter, who complained that she still
didn't have a name yet. Carly woke up and told Jax she had an idea for the
perfect name.
Claudia returned home to Sonny, who said they needed to talk. Sonny broke
the news that he didn't want to have another child.
Johnny showed up at Olivia's and gave her a stuffed animal. A tearful Olivia
told Johnny she'd been using him and that she still had feelings for Sonny.
Dominic took Tommy Soto out to the woods and ordered him to turn himself
over to the authorities and tell them everything he knows about the
organization — or else.
Tuesday
Claudia was disappointed that Sonny didn't want to have another baby. "What if I'm already pregnant?" she asked. Claudia then went out to purchase a home pregnancy test. Claudia took the test and got upset when it said she wasn't pregnant.
Johnny was suspicious of Olivia's claim that she was still in love with Sonny. "Who put you up to this?" he demanded to know. Olivia insisted her feelings for Sonny had returned and she can't live a double life anymore. Johnny pulled her into a kiss, which she reciprocated. Olivia pushed Johnny off of her. She insisted that their attraction was just physical — that was it. Johnny said he still loves her but if she didn't trust him enough to tell her what was going on, "I guess we didn't have what I thought we did. Good luck with Sonny." Johnny stormed out and a teary Olivia made a call.
In the woods, Tommy Soto was stunned to learn that Dominic was an undercover cop. "I guess you got a choice to make," Dom advised him. When Soto realized that Dom was ready to kill him if he didn't co-operate, Soto agreed to tell everything he knew to the cops. Jason arrived and Dominic faked that Soto overpowered him and escaped. Jason was not pleased.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas grabbed Spencer's hand-drawn picture and stated he was going to have it framed. Lucky had no idea that Liz's letter to Nikolas was on the other side. Lucky gave a brooding Nikolas a pep talk, stating that he wasn't evil like the other Cassadines.
As the kids discussed more names for the baby, Carly and Jax entered and Carly made her announcement: She'd decided on Jocelyn John Jacks.
In Greece, Lulu filled Mischa in on the Cassadine/Spencer feud. Mischa was shocked to discover the history of the people she was working for. They speculated about Luke's fate.
Luke woke up in Helena's bedroom, handcuffed to a chair. "Mikkos had yet another bastard," she huffed, "His name is Valentin." Helena stated that Valentin has been biding his time. She blamed herself for "poking the snake," but feared that Valentin would annihilate everyone they both loved. Luke could see Helena was truly worried.
Dominic returned to Sonny and said he hit "a glitch" in rubbing out Tommy Soto. Sonny was furious. He kicked Dom out of the organization and out of the house. Jason reminded Sonny that Dom saved Morgan's life. Sonny rescinded but told Dom he was on probation and warned him against making another mistake.
Jax arrived at Olivia's, where she confided in him her dilemma with Claudia. "I just want to kill her," Liv shouted. She then told Jax that maybe it's time that she started spilling her own guts to Sonny. Liv vowed to protect her son at all costs.
Michael had another flashback of Claudia at his bedside. When Carly took Kristina aside to ask about Michael's behavior, he erupted in a fit of anger.
Claudia invited Dominic in for a drink. "Are you trying to poison me?" he asked. She then came onto Dom and he immediately slammed on the brakes. Just then, Johnny burst in and demanded to know what he did to Olivia, and threatened his sister with bodily harm.
Wednesday
At Casa de Corinthos, Johnny and Claudia fought viciously in front of Dominic. Johnny accused Claudia of destroying the only thing that mattered in his life — his relationship with Olivia. "You don't think things through, Claudia," Johnny pointed out. He wondered what Claudia could be holding over Olivia's head. Johnny was devastated by his sister's treachery and pointed out that he could make her disappear. Dom stepped in between them. After Johnny stormed out, Claudia cried to Dominic, saying Johnny was becoming like their father. Dom still rejected her romantic advances, though.
Jax assured Olivia that Dominic will be fine and he's on track to bring down Sonny and Jason once and for all. Olivia, however, feared for her son's life.
Michael flew into a rage as he remembered more from his time in the coma. However, Carly was able to calm him down by pointing out that he is still the one in control. Morgan, Molly and Kristina were proud of their big brother for being able to contain himself. The kids offered their help in getting Michael to remember more. Carly was grateful but said they needed to respect Michael's privacy. When Carly started to cry, she assured Michael that they were, "Happy tears." Kiefer arrived to take the girls home, which
irritated Michael all over again. Michael lunged at Kiefer and punched him. Jax walked in just in time to restrain his stepson. Kiefer and the girls left. Carly asked Michael to tell her about the memories, as it was clear he was being tormented by them.
In Greece, Ethan and Lulu were determined to break into the Cassadine abode. Inside, Helena tried to assure Luke that when it comes to Valentin, for once, they were both on the same side. Just then, Mischa sneaked Ethan and Lulu into the house. Ethan got Luke's cuffs off and Helena begged the gang to take her with them. Luke hesitated but got Helena in a wheelchair. On their way out, the guards stopped them and drew their guns. They took a screaming Helena back to her room. When Luke pulled the, "Hey, there's Nikolas!" routine, he and Ethan wrestled the guns away from the guards. To Luke's amazement, however, Nikolas was actually standing there. Nik went to see Helena, where she explained to him about the treacherous Valentin. "He won't stop until he has taken everything," she warned. Meanwhile, Luke grilled Mischa for some answers.
When Spinelli returned early from his "un-honeymoon," Jason and Sam immediately put him to work on the Devlin case. Spinelli's search turned up an item of interest: Devlin had a pocket recorder on him the night he died, which was being held at the PCPD.
At the lake house, Kristina assured Kiefer that she's ready to have sex with them. Inside, Alexis thanked Kiefer for bringing the girls home, and was not happy to hear about Michael's latest rage episode. Alexis stated that this situation needs to be dealt with and ordered Krissy to stay away from Michael — for now. Kristina got upset by the edict.
Johnny returned to Olivia's and pleaded with her to give their love a chance. "If you love me, please go," she tearfully replied. He threw down his keys and left. Claudia called Olivia and ordered her to book a suite at Metro Court under an assumed name.
Dominic went to Ronnie and checked in. Ronnie feared they'd have to act soon before Dominic's cover was blown. Ronnie then told Dom that he's got to wear a wire to nail Sonny.
Thursday
Sam took Kristina to get birth control pills. Kristina was nervous, but Sam pointed out that being responsible is important. Kris noted that had their mother been responsible, neither of them would exist — and added that if she accidentally got pregnant, she'd never give the child up like Alexis did with Sam. Sam said that they can't judge their mother for what she did and urged Kris to cut Alexis some slack. Kristina panicked when Kelly arrived at the clinic, fearing that she'd tell Alexis that she was there. However, Kelly assured her that the visit was confidential. Kristina was then examined. Later, Sam asked her little sis if she was really ready for sex. Kristina replied that she wants to be close to Kiefer. She asked Sam about her first time. Sam admitted that she was younger than Kristina and hadn't been ready to have sex — and did it because she had low self-esteem. She urged Kris to wait until she's older, but Kristina was confident that she's ready.
Claudia demanded that Olivia break up with Johnny or she'd reveal that Dominic is Liv's son.... A pregnant Carly snapped at Olivia when Liv asked how she was doing, complaining that Jax is treating her like an invalid. Olivia told her to count her blessings. Carly didn't understand why she ended things with Johnny; Liv explained that they just weren't meant to be together. Carly suspected that something else was going on.
Dom was told to wear a wire to get the goods on Sonny. He admitted to Ronnie that he empathizes with Sonny and has gotten close with his kids. Dominic hated that he'd have to break Morgan's heart when he eventually took Sonny down.
Sonny and Claudia had a heart-to-heart talk, where he said he'd welcome another child if she were already pregnant.... Sonny asked Dom to deliver a file to Olivia. Johnny later revealed to Sonny that he and Claudia had a fight about Olivia, but promised that his personal life wouldn't affect his work.... Dom delivered the file to Olivia at the Metro Court. She sensed that something was bothering him.
At the hospital, Patrick called the babysitter and asked if she could watch Emma that night. Matt overheard and teased his brother about no longer being in his prime. Patrick replied that he wouldn't change anything in his life. A woman then came onto his floor and asked if he'd dated her friend, Lisa.
She introduced herself as Louise and called him the "legendary wild man." Patrick shared that his life is now a lot more sedate. He then introduced Louise to Robin. Louise was impressed and noted that Lisa didn't believe that Patrick would ever settle down, and then went on about all of the wild things he'd done with his ex. Robin was not amused. Later, Patrick wanted to go out with Robin, but she said she had to work. She encouraged him to go to karaoke night without her, but made him promise that he wouldn't sing a duet with anyone else. Patrick invited Matt to go with him, but he turned him down. Instead, Louise asked if she could accompany him to Jake's.
Michael went to the docks to watch the boats. Alexis joined him and thanked him for saving Kristina's life. However, she didn't approve of him punching Kiefer and didn't want her daughters spending time with him since he kept having rage issues. He assured her that he'd never hurt Kristina or Molly, but she was still afraid that they wouldn't be safe around him. Carly arrived and overheard, and asked to speak with Alexis alone. She was furious and couldn't believe that Alexis believed that Michael could harm his sisters. Carly then revealed that Kiefer was a bully who'd intimidated Morgan. Alexis still didn't want to "take any chances" with him for a while. "Do you really want to be the bad guy? Do you really want to be the controlling, neurotic mom ... because they're going to resent you for trying to cut him out of their lives," warned Carly.
Claudia summoned Dom to a hotel suite and began kissing him. Ronnie listened in via Dominic's wire. Dom pulled away, but Claudia continued to seduce him.... Sonny asked Olivia why she broke up with Johnny, wondering if it was because of him.
Friday
At the lake house, Alexis confronted Sam and Kristina on their whereabouts. Sam lied that they were at the mall, and felt conflicted about keeping Alexis in the dark that Kristina was preparing to lose her virginity. After Sam left, Alexis had a sit-down with Kristina to talk about "things." Alexis advised her daughter to focus on herself. Kristina, however, copped an attitude.
At the penthouse, Spinelli used the Internet to locate the box containing Devlin's possessions. Spinelli then donned a ski mask to assist Jason in his mission to retrieve the box. Jason said no way, and asked Sam to accompany him. Sam pointed out that they needed Spinelli to be computer-bound, and he acquiesced. On his computer, Spinelli guided the duo via earpiece on how to break in to the PCPD. Inside, they couldn't find anything. Then, Lucky burst in and found Sam, but Jason managed to hide.
After Sonny confronted Olivia at Metro Court about her break-up with Johnny, she made it clear that it wasn't about him. Olivia then spoke up about how much she still cared for Johnny and stormed out.
Upstairs, Claudia came on to Dominic and tried to take his shirt off. Since he was wearing a wire, Dom pushed her away and said, "There's no way in hell I'm sleeping with you." A panicked Ronnie listened in. Claudia was furious at being spurned — and called Dominic by his birth name, "Dante Falconeri" and mentioned that she overheard Kate and Olivia discussing him. Claudia threatened to turn Dom in to Sonny unless he became her sex slave. Dominic realized that Claudia had an ulterior motive for them sleeping together. As Claudia started to undress him, the cops arrived and placed Dominic under arrest. After, the cops brought Dominic to Ronnie. Dom insisted her could save the investigation but Ronnie booted him off the case. Dom vowed to finish the job.
At G.H., Maxie lamented to Robin about having to return her wedding gifts. Robin mentioned that Patrick was at Jake's for the karaoke competition. Maxie was surprised that Robin would let her man out alone. Robin stated he wasn't alone — he was with Louise, the Assistant District Attorney. "Have I taught you nothing?" Maxie wondered. Maxie encouraged Robin to spice things up with her husband.
At Jake's, Patrick and Louise arrived. Coleman had his new bartender, K.Z. (guest star Chikezie Eze of AMERICAN IDOL fame), get their drinks. Johnny arrived and ordered tequila shots and asked to keep them coming. K.Z. wanted to sing but Coleman told him to keep the drinks flowing. Just then, Olivia wandered in. K.Z. continued pestering Coleman to sing, and got his wish. As K.Z. offered a soulful rendition of "Against All Odds," Johnny stared at Olivia but she refused to return his glance. Coleman admonished K.Z., stating that because he was so good, no one else got up to sing. Patrick suggested he and Louise go home and hang with Robin.
Back at the house, Maxie concocted a plan for Robin to seduce Patrick. Robin was reluctant but went along with it. In an outrageous get-up, Robin surprised Patrick upon his arrival, but she was the one in for a surprise when he returned with Louise.
As Jake's, Johnny sat down at the piano and serenaded Olivia with "Try a Little Tenderness." Olivia was touched, but ran out, leaving Johnny crestfallen.
A furious Carly found Sonny at Metro Court and told him about Alexis keeping Kristina away from Michael. Carly asked Sonny to tell Alexis that she was overreacting. Just then, Sonny then caught Claudia coming out of the hotel. "What are you doing here?" he wondered.
