Michael summoned Sam and — after making her promise not to tell Jason — told her he's been having memory flashes from his coma. He recalls Claudia apologizing, and Jax saying something about being involved and that Carly must never know. At Mercy (where Johnny was sent due to overcrowding at G.H.), Spinelli told Johnny about the vehicular mayhem at the carnival. Johnny insisted Claudia not be told about his condition, adding that if he dies, Spinelli must promise to get Jason to protect Olivia from Claudia. Johnny tried to give the Jackal a message for Jason, but passed out. Meanwhile, Bernie went to Sonny's and told Claudia that Anthony hit Corinthos interests, and badly wounded Johnny. At G.H., Patrick told Olivia he knows Sonny and Dominic are father and son. She said she has no regrets and makes no apologies for hiding that. As a father and son himself, Patrick asked her to reconsider, citing his experiences with Noah and Matt, and warning that Sonny and Dante will feel betrayed when the truth comes out. Ronnie visited Dante and suggested that saving Morgan will ingratiate him with Sonny. At that moment, Jason walked in and eyed Ronnie. Dominic vouched for him and Ronnie fled. Jason thanked him for saving Morgan, and noted he owes Dom a favor. Bernie arrived and told Jason about Johnny saving Spinelli. Meanwhile, at the prison, Anthony went into a table-flipping rage. Claudia raced to Mercy, where Spinelli told her Johnny had a collapsed lung — and Anthony was behind the hit. Claudia slapped him and warned, if Johnny dies she has nothing, and the whole town will feel her wrath. When Jason arrived, Spinelli recapped the warehouse hit. Jason banned him from doing any more mob business because, "You're like a brother to me," and he protects his family. Spinelli recounted how Johnny wants Jason to protect Liv, and Jason realized Johnny considers Claudia a threat. Olivia visited Dante alone for a moment, and they shared their feelings. He said he realizes maintaining his cover is hard for her. Then he admitted that he's considering abandoning the case because he's come to like Sonny and his family. But he's going to do his job, because no other cop has ever comet his close to taking down Sonny (and Johnny). She noted that if Sonny went toe prison it would break her heart, but Sonny chose his path; Johnny never had a choice.
After Rebecca told Nikolas and Ethan she is sticking by Edward's side, Ethan wondered if Nik will take into account Rebecca's "grace, compassion and dignity" dealing with Edward. When Nik scoffed, Ethan accused him of conning people into thinking he's "the good Cassadnie." Elsewhere, Elizabeth and Lucky admitted they've been down this road before — twice — and she suggested they're better at not being married, because they could fall back into old, destructive patterns. He challenged her to say she doesn't love him. She admitted she's loved him since they were teens, and her life doesn't make sense without him in it. He feels the same. She wanted to think about it. Later, Elizabeth visited Nik at Wyndemere, where she told him she couldn't figure out how to tell Lucky she loves him, but not the way he wants. She can depend on him him, but there's no passion. He urged her to tell him the truth. She pointed out she has feelings for "someone else." When he egged her into admitting it's him, he said, "I want you," and they kissed. Ethan asked Lucky to stop Nik from taking revenge on Rebecca. Lucky said Nik wouldn't hurt Emily's sister. Ethan called him naive and left.
Later, at Mercy, Jason told Spinelli that Johnny will recover. Johnny awoke and asked Jason to protect Olivia from Claudia. Claudia visited Anthony in prison because she wanted to see his face when he realized he ordered his own son's murder. She threatened to exact a revenge so terrible, "You will be praying for the mercy of death."
Tuesday
Alone in his hospital room, Dominic and Olivia expressed their affection for each other — then she turned to see Sonny standing in the door, looking quizzical. Dominic told Sonny he's ready to report to work, but Sonny told him to rest. Sonny reported to Olivia that Johnny was shot and is in Mercy. Olivia gasped and ran out. At the prison, Anthony accused Claudia of being disappointed that Johnny didn't die because she's an "avaricious little viper." Anthony gloated that when Sonny finds out she's responsible for Michael's shooting, he will execute them both. "Your fixation on your brother is sick," Anthony charged, adding that she acts "like a jealous lover." Claudia slapped his face, then realized he was pushing her buttons. She promised that Johnny would help her kill him, because Johnny knows Anthony is responsible. At Mercy, Johnny told Jason he replaced Dominic at the last moment. Jason wondered if Dom set up Johnny. Suddenly Olivia arrived and blubbered all over Johnny — while an annoyed Sonny watched. Later, alone, she confessed how upset she was over his shooting. She recalled their first kiss and every time they made love. She confessed she doesn't want to be casual anymore. "I'm glad you said that," he smiled. Then Claudia burst in and demanded that Olivia leave. Johnny insisted Liv stay. Claudia was incredulous, then Olivia started yelling at Claudia — who slapped her across the face! Liv slapped her back, and they started to tangle. Then Johnny coded. Later, after a doctor had restored order and thrown the battlers out, Sonny wanted to question Johnny, but both Claudia and Liv barred him from the room. Olivia threatened to tell the cops everything she knows, so Sonny left — with Claudia in tow. Still later, Jason and Sonny talked about how there must be a mole in their organization that facilitated the hit. Sonny suspected Johnny, but Jason didn't. Then Sonny theorized that Anthony wanted Dom dead for switching sides. Sonny resolved to use Dominic to neutralize "that old freak."
Lulu showed up at Lucky's to grouse about Maxie turning their place into a love palace. Lulu joked about moving in with her brother, and he noted Elizabeth is back in the picture. He admitted she put off accepting his proposal. Lulu pointed out the same thing happened with Maxie and Spinelli. Lucky said almost losing Jake prompted him to hang on.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas and Lucky made love. Afterward, a pensive Liz asked, "What have I done?" "What did I just do to you?" Nik responded. "We did this together," she reminded him. Nik felt like he took advantage of her vulnerability. She admitted Jake was conceived under similar circumstances, but she knew what she was doing then, and knew what she was doing tonight. Nikolas begged her not to tell Lucky, because the revelation will hurt him (And Lucky might hurt Nik!). She warned him that secrets always come out.
Sam visited the penthouse looking for Jason, but only Maxie was there. When Spinelli did return, his shirt was covered in blood, which horrified her. Maxie scolded him for getting involved in something dangerous, then they went to her place. Later, when Jason returned, Sam noted they were all alone. Jason started kissing her, and she reciprocated.
Lulu visited Dominic, who was glad to see her, and told her Johnny was shot. Lulu checked on Johnny's condition, but didn't go to Mercy. Dom went off on a rant about Johnny getting mixed up in the mob and Sonny and Anthony. He was so passionate that Lulu pointed out he sounded like someone who wanted to take down the mob, not work in it. At Mercy, Olivia apologized to Johnny for fighting. He said he wants her by his side. Back at G.H., Elizabeth and Lucky visited Jake. Then Liz told Lucky they need couples counseling — adding, "Yes, I'll marry you."
Wednesday
As Sam and Jason reveled in the afterglow in his room, Maxie and Spinelli brought Kristina, Molly, Robin and Patrick to the penthouse to work on wedding preparations. Suddenly, a shirtless Jason appeared, kissing and carrying Sam down the stairs. They were stunned to see everyone in the living room. Jason asked the crowd leave, but Molly asked to talk to Jason privately. Maxie and Spinelli withdrew to the pier, where Spinelli suggested they might soon have a child — which made Maxie choke on her milkshake. Back at the penthouse, Molly told Jason that he broke Sam's heart. Sam eavesdropped as Molly warned the hit man to treat her sister with chivalry, and to not bail at the first sign of trouble. Jason really didn't want to discuss it. Molly pegged Jason as a "tragic hero," and pointed out the tragic hero usually either dies — or his lady love does. "Sam deserves a happy ending," she insisted. Sam took Molly to the docks, where she scolded her for embarrassing her; real life is not a romance novel. Spinelli returned to the penthouse, and Jason reamed him out. When Spinelli asked Jason to help him deal with the stress of getting married, Stone Cold's lukewarm response led Spinelli to wonder if Jason thinks he's making a mistake.
In the Wyndemere turret, a slumbering Nikolas dreamed about making love with Elizabeth, but awoke to Rebecca standing over him. She asked if he had been drinking alone all night? At G.H., Liz was lost in a daydream when Lucky asked what she was thinking about. She said she wants to wait until they set a date before telling the kids about the wedding. He declared that they should have "no more secrets." In his room at G.H., Edward acknowledged that Ethan pulled him out of the wreck. Ethan told him Rebecca was at his bedside all night. He asked Edward to warn her away from Nikolas. Feeling guilty about causing mayhem and suffering, Edward agreed. Then Tracy arrived, followed by Monica. Tracy urged him not to feel guilty, and vowed to stick by his side. Back on Spoon Island, Rebecca told Nik, "You're the one I want," and praised him for forgiving her. "I promise I'll give you everything you deserve," he said. At breakfast, she mused about almost dying yesterday, and said, "I love you, Nikolas." Lucky burst in to announce that Jake is fine, and he's remarrying Elizabeth. Back at G.H., Patrick assured Liz that Jake is fine, and she told him about her engagement. Rebecca returned to Edward's room, where Tracy tried to mark her turf. But Edward declared, "Rebecca is family!" At the pier, Liz ran into Nikolas, who said, "I hear congratulations are in order."
Elsewhere, Jax saw Michael throw the phone in frustration, but before they could get into it, Carly entered to announce that Jax got Michael an interview with Madison Prep. Michael school doesn't seem to matter much anymore. Then the youth had a sudden memory flash, of hearing Jax say, "I'm sorry I let it get to this point, Michael. I never should have trusted Jerry." He and Jax started arguing about Sonny, but Carly interrupted. She realized the carnival probably dredged up memories. Then he had another flash: Jax saying, "Carly can't ever know what happened." Michael went straight to the home of the carnival fortune-teller, and even though she basically admitted to doing a cold reading on him yesterday, he asked her to interpret his "messages." She wisely told him things aren't always what that seem, and he shouldn't act on visions. Then she put a hand on his head, and recited: "Some villains are vague, some villains are clear. Some are standing by the bed, and some are in the mirror." Back home, Morgan told his parents that he wants Dominic to live with them while he recovers. Jax agreed to think about it. When Michael returned, he glanced in a mirror and saw not only his reflection, but Jax's. Later, Michael summoned Sam and suggested a theory: He accidentally got shot as a result of Jax trying to off Sonny.
Thursday
On the pier, Nikolas told Liz he'd heard of her impending nuptials. He wondered how she could do that to herself and to Lucky. "Lucky loves me," she reminded, insisting the night between them had never happened. Lucky walked up on the cheaters' confab. Awkwardness ensued! Then, Lucky and Liz went off to marriage counseling with Lainey. They started off talking about the Maxie debacle and when Lainey wondered if Liz could ever lie or cheat, she flashed on the Nik sex. They then moved on to Jason and Jake's paternity! Liz wanted to stop lying and hurting people. Lucky touted the love and trust they had. He left the session invigorated, while Liz looked mighty guilty.
Wedding planner Robin updated Maxie on the various plans, who referred to it as "the most tasteful, elegant mistake of my life." She loved Spinelli but wasn't hot on marrying him. She swore to get through it with Robin's help. Robin touted Spinelli as the best thing that had ever happened to Maxie but noted they didn't have to wed. They could just "be together." Maxie's solution? To just put off having kids with typical Maxie schemes! At Jason's penthouse, Spinelli asked for his hero's input on the marriage. Later, Spinelli and Maxie met up on the docks and kissed.
Sonny and Claudia arrived at Mercy Hospital while, at Carly's, Michael told Sam he suspected Jax had a part in his shooting. On cue, Jax and Carly appeared! Sam swiftly covered, mentioning the warehouse shooting. Meanwhile, Claudia tried to kick Olivia out of Johnny's room (again!). Sonny used the excuse of "business" to get Liv to leave. Morgan visited Dante at GH and gushed about him moving in to Casa Jacks. At the house in question, Sam apologized for stirring things up and split. Michael's suspicions of Jax remained. Later, Olivia visited Dante, who donned Morgan's gift of a Yankee batting helmet (so cute!). They talked about the boy's attachment to him and Olivia tapdanced around the brothers' bond. Back at Mercy, Johnny told Claudia he was "too tired" for their family drama and asked her to leave. Sonny told him he'd tossed out the one person "100% loyal to him," and accused him of being a leak in the organization. Back at Casa Jacks, Carly wondered why Michael was so peeved at his stepfather. "How far do you think Jax would go to get Dad out of our lives?" Michael mused. Jason dropped by to see Johnny and ask him about the shooting — not accusing him of being part of it. Olivia railed at Dante about his dangerous work. Dante refused to stop until the Corinthoses and Zacharras were behind bars. Later, Michael met up with Sam, who noted Michael's coma memory could be faulty. Carly called Sonny over and blasted him about the warehouse shooting. Sonny tried to get her to calm down (it took a few minutes!) and then she told him about Dominic maybe moving in to keep Morgan safe. Meanwhile, Ronnie visited Dante and reminded him of his duty to put Sonny away. Jason tried to get Johnny to admit Claudia's culpability in Michael's shooting. (To no avail.) Later, Olivia went back to Johnny's room and warned him to be careful who he trusts — as in Dominic. As Sam told Jason of Michael's suspicions, Claudia overheard! Michael dropped by Jax's office, where Jax apologized for being down on Sonny, and Michael confronted Jax about "what you said" while he was comatose and "what you did." Jax swore he had nothing to do with Michael's shooting and Michael flat-out accused him of trying to kill Sonny.
Friday
Claudia eavesdropped as Sam told Jason that Michael is remembering what people told him while he was in his coma, but it's all jumbled up. Johnny asked Olivia why she was concerned about Dominic. Liv said Dom saved Morgan's life, and will be Sonny's golden boy now. She told Johnny not to confide in Dom because Sonny might pump him for info to use against Johnny. Sonny was suspicious of Ronnie being in Dominic's room, but Dom vouched for him, then Sonny threw him out. Sonny said he appreciated Dom saving Morgan, but still doubted his loyalty. Dom offered to do anything to prove his loyalty. Sonny noted he plans to destroy Anthony through Johnny. So if Sonny asks, will Dominic "eliminate" Johnny? "In a heartbeat," Dom replied. Later, Claudia told Johnny she heard Jason and Sam talking. He told her to return to the safety of Italy, but she refused, citing him being in the hospital. After she left, Olivia returned. Johnny told her Claudia is scared, and begged Liv not to be alone with Claudia, because she might hurt Liv. He said he wants to believe they have a future. She hushed him.
Jax told Michael, "I did not put a hit on your father," but Michael suspected Jax knows more than he's telling. Michael wondered what he was remembering, if not a confession? Jax admitted saying he felt responsible, but insisted he cannot explain exactly why until after the baby is born, because it will upset Carly. He told Michael to wait just three more months. Michael fumed, and Jax pointed out his self-control is spotty, and he might blurt the secret to Carly. Michael suspected Jax would find another excuse after the baby is born. When Carly walked in the guys covered, but then Jason and Sam arrived, so Carly knew something was up. Jax said they were comparing notes about the threat of the Zaccharas. She was furious about being left out when Sam was included, so Jason pointed out that she's pregnant and Sam isn't. Later, Sam marveled at the circumstances that brought them all together. Jason confessed he's really worried about Carly and her baby, and apologized for saying she's not pregnant. "I never want to hurt you again," he said. Then they kissed.
In the Wyndemere turret, Nikolas drank and flashed back to making love to Elizabeth. Lucky arrived, and told Nik the couples therapy went pretty well. Lucky was sure the marriage will work — as long as they are honest. He said Liz talked about her feelings for another man during today's therapy — Jason. But she insisted it was over. Lucky told his brother that he and Liz are in a good place, because he's the only man Liz wants. Meanwhile, Rebecca brought a gift basket to Lucky's place, but found Liz was there. The women sniped at each other. Rebecca said she's thinking of going to nursing school. Liz wondered if Nik is pushing her into enrolling. Later, Rebecca went to the turret, and remarked to Nikolas how she's never seen Lucky and Liz so happy. When Lucky got home, he was excited by the gift basket — which made Liz angry. She suggested that Nikolas has not forgiven Rebecca, so Lucky invited them to dinner. At Wyndemere, Alfred relayed the message, but Nik declined, saying he wants Rebecca all to himself. Word was relayed back to Lucky, and when he told Liz that Nik preferred to be alone with Rebecca, she spilled her wine. At Wyndemere, Nik and Rebecca made love.
Sonny visited Anthony in prison to blame him for the hit, but Anthony played innocent. Sonny warned him that if Anthony tries anything again, Johnny will be executed. At G.H., Dominic shuffled into Johnny's room to thank him for taking his place at the warehouse, and promised to pay him back. Olivia panicked when she peered through the window to see the men shaking hands.
