Monday
As Carly and Jax started kissing on the couch, Carly said she was scared about reconciling, hoping that Jax wouldn't take off when things got tough. Jax vowed to stand by his commitment to her. Michael entered and during a moment alone with his mother, noted that Carly reconciled with Jax just as Brenda was re-entering the picture. Carly insisted it was a coincidence. Jax returned with his things — and a pizza. The gang enjoyed a casual family dinner, then Morgan asked if Jax was still planning on adopting him.
In Ireland, Siobhan warned "Ronan" that men were out looking for him. Ronan told her not to be around him, but she vowed not to leave without him. Siobhan noted that Ronan had changed and he's not the heartless assassin he used to be. She then pulled out a gun and said she's not afraid to use it. He grabbed the gun; she kissed him, then fled.
At the penthouse, Spinelli wanted to know how Dante knew about The Balkan. The men then fought over Michael going to prison. Spinelli accused Dante of being a charismatic liar and told him to leave.
In Italy, Jason and Brenda fought about her protection. Brenda was upset that Jason saw her as self-absorbed. Suzanne entered and asked Brenda why she wasn't dressed for the gala. Jason stated he didn't want her to attend but Brenda insisted. When Jason left the room, Brenda accused Suzanne of flirting with Jason and stated if she was interested in him, it would be a nightmare. Jason returned and stated he reviewed the security detail and still didn't want Brenda to go. Suzanne pleaded with Jason, letting him know how important Brenda's work was for saving exploited children worldwide. Jason apologized to Brenda. "I appreciate that," she nodded. They then started bickering about Jason having to wear a tux, which he did not want to do. In the limo, Brenda encouraged Jason to talk if people asked him a question. Just as they were about to get out of the car, Brenda's corset snapped. Jason refused to help fix it. Brenda got out of the car and Jason escorted her on the red carpet under the watchful eye of the paparazzi.
At Casa de Corinthos, Sonny and Claire had sex. Downstairs, Max and Diane saw the romantic table with food and wine and agreed it would be a shame to waste such a beautiful setting. Over dinner, the duo discussed Sonny and Brenda. Max almost got himself in trouble when he mentioned how hot Brenda was. He promised to make it up to Diane. Upstairs, Sonny told Claire he made love to her not to tarnish her reputation but because he wanted to be with her. "If it blows up in my face, so be it," she declared. "I'm responsible for my own choices." As they sipped wine, Claire discussed pitting her career against her desire. Claire told Sonny that despite his money and power, "You're one of the loneliest men I've ever known." "Not tonight," Sonny replied as he kissed her. Afterward, Sonny and Claire went downstairs and caught Max and Diane getting frisky. Diane told Claire that she was being played by Sonny and stormed out.
"Ronan" called Dante and said The Balkan was headed his way. Dante advised Lucky to get out of there before he wound up dead. Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Get back to me as soon as you can," Lucky asked. Dante made some calls on Lucky's behalf, just as Lulu walked in. "We've got to talk," he stated. Dante came clean about Lucky's true mission. "You think something bad is going to happen to my brother?" she asked. "It's a definite possibility," Dante asserted. Lulu promised not to freak out and they discussed the matter, and she asked Dante what he knew about The Balkan. Back in Ireland, three thugs entered, one put a bag over Lucky's head, and the trio dragged him out. "Ronan" was taken to a seaside warehouse and left to await The Balkan's presence.
Tuesday
Lulu wanted to go to Ireland to help Lucky but Dante thought that would be a
bad idea. Just then, Tracy arrived and asked Lulu to retrieve Lucky from
Europe, saying she decided against having Luke come home. Tracy insisted
that she needed to move forward with her new, "Luke-free" life. Tracy added
that Lulu was the best thing to come out of her phony marriage. After Tracy
left, Lulu insisted she was going to Ireland. Dante refused to let her go
alone. "We'll do this together," he stressed. Before long, the couple was on
a plane. Dante mentioned he always wanted to go to Italy. Lulu said she'd
love to make that trip with him.
At home, Morgan expressed concern about Jax adopting him. Jax assured the
boy that no matter what, he'd still love Morgan like he was his own son.
Morgan didn't want Sonny to feel hurt. Michael told his brother that
by giving up Sonny's name, Morgan may have a chance of a better life. Morgan
said he'd go through with the adoption and gave Jax a hug. "Welcome home,"
Carly smiled to Jax. Later, Michael was embarrassed to walk in on Jax and
Carly getting frisky. Michael immediately excused himself and returned to
the loft.
As Diane got dressed after being caught with Max by Sonny and Claire, Diane
chastised them for sleeping together. Max had to pull a ranting Diane out of
the room. Claire told Sonny that nothing Diane said could change how she
felt about him. Sonny made Claire a plate of strawberries and cream and fed
her. "Where do we go from here?" Claire asked. "Stay the night," he replied.
Claire said she'd take a rain check and left, then Sonny made a call,
barking, "Get over here. Now!" Diane arrived, and made no apologies for
trying to sway Sonny away from Claire. "When this ends badly, she's going to
bury you," Diane insisted.
On the red carpet in front of the paparazzi, Brenda introduced Jason to her
new boss, Ernesto Cartullo. After making nice, Jason insisted they head
inside. Later, Brenda and Jax returned and bickered about the evening. Jason
refused to leave the suite — for Brenda's own protection, of course. Jason
even took a drink. Later, as Jason closed his eyes on the couch, he heard a
scream come from Brenda's room. Moments later, he and Brenda emerged. Brenda
had a nightmare and Jason was actually sympathetic. Brenda recalled
their night together at the senior prom when Karen and Jagger were in love
with each other and the two of them were the outcasts. Brenda then asked
Jason to talk to her until she fell asleep. Jason complied, and Brenda fell
asleep in front of the fire.
At G.H., Lisa received the tranquilizers she'd ordered and Patrick caught
her smiling to herself. At home, Robin and Maxie discussed the plan to nail
Lisa, and Maxie tried to persuade her cousin to forgive Patrick's
infidelity. The women were unaware that Lisa lurked outside. Maxie left to
go back to work and Patrick stopped by to see Emma. As they went upstairs to
see their baby, Lisa sneaked in and grabbed Robin's meds, then overheard
Robin and Patrick discussing their plan to bust her. While Robin and Patrick
were distracted, Lisa messed with Robin's medication.
Wednesday
In Rome, Jason entered Brenda's room to find Suzanne there and Brenda gone. She had a meeting and was escorted by Cartullo security, Suzanne explained. Jason huffed that was not part of the deal they made. Suzanne then showed Jason a magazine in which he and Brenda were on the cover. Suzanne pointed out to Jason that he just made Brenda more famous than she already was. Just then, Murphy arrived. "I'm guessing you're the ex-husband," he remarked to Jason. "I'm here to see you." Murphy asked Suzanne to excuse them so the men could talk. Murphy asked Jason what his intentions were with Brenda. Jason tried to explain he had no feelings for Brenda but Murphy wasn't hearing him.
In Port Charles, Spinelli and Jax saw pictures of Jason and Brenda on the Internet and tried to keep them away from Sam and Carly, respectively. Jax was successful. Spinelli, not so much. Sam insisted on seeing what Spinelli was hiding from her. He claimed it was a secret code but Sam didn't buy his story. "Whatever you're hiding, I can take it," she said. Spinelli showed her the photo. Sam insisted it was all just for show. Then, Carly arrived asking about Jason. Spinelli then showed her the photo. Carly was uncharacteristically silent.
At G.H., Lisa invited Patrick to Jake's. He accepted and when Matt
overheard, he chastised his brother for flaunting his affair when his wife needed him.... As Robin took her meds, Patrick arrived at Mac's door. Robin stated she was feeling a little nauseous. "Being cheated on is a little stressful," Robin huffed. Patrick left and Mac arrived; Robin was feeling more nauseous. He counseled her about Patrick and warned her to be careful. Later, Matt stopped by and informed Robin that Patrick was going to Jake's with Lisa. Robin filled Matt in on the plan to nab Dr. Niles as she finished taking her medication.
Ethan showed up at Johnny's to talk business. Johnny claimed his vendetta with Sonny was over but Ethan was skeptical. Johnny insisted the truce was for real and the men were starting with a clean slate. Just then, Claire showed up. Ethan quickly excused himself and Claire warned Johnny that if steps out of line one more time, she'll be there to prosecute him. In turn, Johnny warned Claire about falling for Sonny.
At Wyndemere, Brook Lynn tried on some conservative outfits, which she and Nikolas both agreed weren't "her." "I think I know someone who can fix this," Nik mused. Maxie showed up. She thought Nikolas wanted her to redecorate but Nik clarified it was Brook who needed her assistance. Neither Maxie nor Brook were happy to hear Nikolas wanted Maxie to be Brook's stylist. After exchanging words, Brook stormed off. Nikolas followed her to Jake's, where Brook stated this whole "Pygmalion" plan of his was a mistake. After reconsidering, Brook agreed to go along with Nik's request.
At Metro Court, Olivia was thrilled to hear that Jax and Carly reconciled. Olivia took the message of compromise to heart. She headed straight to Johnny's. There, she went on a rant about seeing things from the other person's point of view and they ended up in a warm hug.
Lisa met Patrick at Jake's and canceled their plans, saying things were moving too fast between them.... Jax called Sam over to discuss the Brenda photo. Jax wanted details about Jason and Brenda; Sam wondered why Jax was so concerned. As Sam teased him about Brenda, Carly entered.
Thursday
Carly was snarky with Jax and Sam about Brenda dragging Jason into her drama. After Sam left, Carly admitted she was pissed to find Jax talking to Sam about Brenda. Jax assured her he's exactly where he wants to be. "I
believe you," Carly smiled.
Diane fretted to Max that if Sonny breaks Claire's heart, she'll send him to prison. Sonny entered and Diane handed him an envelope. Sonny opened it and
chuckled. It was the red carpet photo of Brenda and Jason. Sonny then admitted that things must be serious if Brenda called Jason for help.
In Italy, Brenda returned to overhear Murphy arguing with Jason. "You're discussing me?" she blurted. Brenda chastised Jason and hugged Murphy. Brenda tried to correct Murphy's misconception that Jason was the man she was once in love with but Murphy didn't believe her. Murphy told Brenda she was a wonderful person and asked Jason to take care of her, then left. Suzanne arrived and informed Brenda that their photo has caused quite a stir. She then told Brenda that she can't be seen in public with an ex-con hit man, as it would tarnish ASEC's image. Jason said he understood but
Brenda insisted Jason was staying to protect her. "Jason is no longer an option," Suzanne insisted as she left. Brenda told Jason she appreciated him being there. Jason added that he doesn't believe The Balkan wants Brenda dead ‹ he just wants to take her. After, Brenda told Jason good-bye. Brenda had a flashback about Sonny. Just then, someone broke into her room.
Dante and Lulu arrived at "Ronan's" room in Ireland. Lulu picked the lock to gain entry. The room was empty but Lulu found an envelope under a chair containing Ronan's passport. She was stunned by his resemblance to Lucky. Lulu's Spencer history came in handy while looking for clues. Afterward, they headed out to the local pub to see if anyone had seen "Ronan."
In the warehouse, a thug returned and woke up a bound Lucky, who complained that he'd lost the circulation in his hands. Lucky sassed the guard, who knocked his chair over. On the floor, Lucky covertly reached for a nearby paper clip. After a while, the guard lifted Lucky and his chair upright. Lucky then managed to pick his handcuffs, overpower the guard and escape.
At G.H., Lisa questioned why Patrick was giving up on his marriage so easily. Patrick covered but wondered if she might be onto him. Patrick tried to assure Lisa that she's important to him. Afterward, Lisa then got word that the doctor who fulfilled her request for the tranquilizers wanted to
see her.
At Mac's house, a groggy Robin packed a bag, then took Emma out to the car, leaving the bag behind. Patrick showed up later and was concerned when he couldn't find Robin or Emma. Meanwhile, Robin fell asleep at the wheel with
Emma in the car.
Carly arrived at Sonny's to complain about Brenda. She asked Sonny to go to Rome and bring Jason home. Meanwhile, Michael stopped by the penthouse to see if Jason was home yet. She invited him in and asked for advice about how to deal with her insecurity about Brenda. Just then, Sonny arrived. He and Michael were thrilled to see each other. They men talked about Brenda. Sonny tried to explain his complicated past with Ms. Barrett to his son.
At the pub, Lulu bumped into Siobhan, then asked the bartender if he knew Ronan O'Reilly. The bartender scowled, "Never heard of him." Siobhan told Lulu that she could take her to Ronan. Just then, Lucky entered.
Friday
In Ireland, Lucky arrived at the pub to see Dante and Lulu there but they managed not to blow his cover in front of the bartender and Siobhan. Dante identified himself as a cop. Siobhan stuck up for "Ronan" as Dante interrogated him about a bombing. Ronan held his own and sent the cops on their way. Lucky managed to keep up Ronan's edge, and Lulu and Dante were impressed with the way they handled the situation. Siobhan told Ronan something in his eyes had changed. Ronan took off. Later, Dante and Lulu showed up at Lucky's room. Lucky was angry at their interference and chastised Dante for dragging his sister into this mess. Dante was quick to point out it was all Lulu's idea. Dante and Lulu warned Lucky to be careful.
As Jason headed to the airport, two of The Balkans' thugs broke into Brenda's room. A concerned Suzanne phoned Jason when she couldn't get a hold of Brenda. Jason headed back to the hotel. The thugs stabbed Brenda with a needle and questioned her. Jason busted in, shot the thugs and told Brenda he was there. Suzanne arrived and jumped into damage control mode. Brenda was administered an antidote and recovered, as Jason and Suzanne pondered The Balkan's interest in Ms. Barrett. Brenda woke up and told Jason what happened. Brenda was grateful that Jason returned.
At the penthouse, Sonny discussed Brenda with Michael. Sonny was honest about their on again/off again history. Sonny said no matter what his feelings for her, there was no place in his life now for Brenda.
As Robin's car settled in a ditch, Patrick rushed to Mac's office claiming Robin and Emma had disappeared. The men had words, but Patrick insisted that his girls were missing and he needed help finding them. Later, a police officer stumbled upon the minivan — Robin was nowhere to be found but Emma was still in her car seat. Mac and Patrick were called, and Patrick was frantic about Robin missing.
Claire went to Carly at Metro Court and warned her that Jax's interest in Brenda was still alive and well. Carly questioned Claire's true interest in Sonny. Jax arrived and Carly wanted to know why Jax was poking around in Claire's business. Carly stated if Claire wanted to throw away her career for Sonny, that was her decision, not Jax's. Sonny arrived just as Claire was leaving. Carly gloated that she knew about Sonny's interest in Claire and questioned Sonny's motives.
Robin awoke to ind Lisa with her in a remote cabin and demanded to know
what she did with Emma. Lisa claimed that she just walked in and found Robin there. Lisa's story was that she borrowed this cabin for a getaway and when she arrived, Robin was there passed out. Robin called Lisa, "an evil bitch." and the women began to argue about Patrick. Meanwhile, Patrick went to G.H. to find Lisa. Instead, Steven gave him the chilling news that an orthopedic nurse had turned up dead.
