Jason sought Robin's professional advice about Michael's condition. Robin
asked exactly what it is that Michael is remembering. Jason opened up
about the details of Michael's shooting. Robin realized that if Ian Devlin
was an accomplice, then Jason would take him or her out, as well. She
marveled at how Michael's welfare brought out two distinct sides of Jason.
At Mercy Hospital, Olivia couldn't believe her eyes when she found Dominic
visiting with Johnny. Olivia chastised Johnny for his cavalier attitude
about getting shot. Alone in the hall, Olivia then chewed out Dominic, who
pointed out to his mother that she's in a no-win situation herself. Olivia
begged Dom to take himself off the case, but he refused to give up the good
fight. Just then, Lulu showed up to visit Johnny. Lulu told Johnny that
she's glad that he is okay, then Dom asked Lulu for a ride back to G.H. The
request made her feel awkward in front of her ex, but Lulu agreed and they
left. Afterward, Olivia crawled into bed with Johnny and held him.
When Sonny visited Anthony in prison and threatened Johnny's life, Zacchara,
in turn, said Olivia's life would be in jeopardy, as well. Sonny ordered
Anthony to back off. However, Anthony wondered if Claudia knew of Sonny's
feelings for Olivia. Sonny vowed to make Anthony pay for any more
interference and then left.
Elizabeth was uneasy around Lucky and he noticed. However, he still had no
idea that she had feelings for Nikolas. As Lucky started to make love to
Liz, she had a flashback of Nikolas and asked Lucky to stop. Lucky said it
was okay if she wasn't ready; he'd rather have honesty than anything else.
At Wyndemere, Rebecca sensed Nikolas was being distant and asked him what
was wrong. "Do I scare you?" he asked, "because sometimes, I scare myself."
Rebecca pointed out that they were good for each other and even though she
had originally deceived him, she'd owned up to it. Then, she kissed him farewell and left to tend to a recovering Edward. Nikolas summoned Ethan to Wyndemere, where they discussed Lucky. "Let's cut to the chase," suggested Ethan. Nik handed Ethan an envelope with a check and told him to cash it and keep Rebecca away from him. Ethan was stunned.
Sonny met with Jason and told him about the meeting with Anthony. When Sonny
mentioned the option of taking out Johnny, Jason wondered if Sonny actually
wanted to do that so he could be with Olivia. "This is straight-up
business," Sonny assured. Claudia walked in to hear Sonny threaten Johnny's
life if anything else were to happen.
Lulu returned Dominic to G.H., where Dom asked if she'd help get him
undressed. She declined the offer. Epiphany entered and read Dominic the
riot act for leaving. Lulu mentioned that Dom asked for help getting
undressed, and left the room. "No, no!" Dom was heard uttering as Lulu
walked out and Epiphany went to work. Later, Ronnie stopped by to show
Dominic his badge and remind him why he was on this case to begin with.
Ronnie wondered if Dominic had been "co-opted" to the other side. Just short
of telling Ronnie that Sonny had threatened to kill Johnny, Lulu entered
with some ice cream for the patient. After Ronnie left, Lulu saw Dom's badge
and asked what it was.
Tuesday
Claudia overheard Sonny mention bumping off Johnny if Anthony got out of
line again. Claudia said she understands that from a business perspective,
that would be Sonny's best move to make. Sonny assured his wife that the
threat was strictly for business purposes, adding that he appreciated her
understanding. Claudia then suggested that she and Sonny try and have
another baby.
Spinelli brought Maxie to a Buddhist garden as a possible wedding site. She
said it was lovely but it kind of was putting her to sleep. Spinelli pointed
out that their wedding was in two days. "Do you really want to get married?"
he asked. Spinelli relayed all the other sites that Maxie had rejected and
he detected a stalling tactic. "I love you," she replied. "I just think that
where we get married should be a perfect reflection of our perfect love."
Spinelli agreed to keep looking. After listening to Maxie's wants, Spinelli
got on the Internet and found the perfect location. When he showed it to
Maxie, she was astonished, and they agreed that it was indeed the perfect
place.
At the hospital, Dominic covered when Lulu found his police badge. He said
it was a fake made by a friend that he used in his line of work to escape
arrest. Lulu didn't believe him. Dom then admitted that it was a real badge
and that it was stolen. Lulu gave him back the badge and they broke out the
cards.
After Michael confided in Sam the memories from his coma, she found it
suspicious that Claudia would be coming to visit so often. Sam assured
Michael that she'd help him find some answers. Jason entered and Michael
clammed up. Michael changed the subject by asking Jason how he managed to
get out of his own head. You have to find your own way," Jason advised. "I
know it's not easy, but you can do it." Michael thanked Jason and left.
At Wyndemere, Ethan demanded to know what Nikolas wants in return for the
million dollar check. Nik said he just wants to make dumping Rebecca easier
and Ethan could help with that. When Nik refused to give Ethan a direct
answer, a suspicious Ethan ripped up the check and walked out.
Elizabeth showed up at Jake's in need of a drink, and found a sympathetic
ear in Olivia. They toasted to single moms. Liz lamented her lack of control
when it comes to following her heart. "Welcome to my world," Olivia shot
back. Liz lamented that she loved Lucky but they lacked passion, and feared
the news of her fling with Nikolas, "would kill him." Liz confided her
dilemma about Nikolas. Olivia advised Liz to put her kids first. Later, Liv
left and Liz put money in the jukebox. Just then, Nikolas walked in. He
took her in his arms and they danced.
Ethan went to see Lulu at G.H. and reported that Nikolas needs her. When
Ethan explained the situation, Lulu said she doesn't want to interfere. She
decided to pick a card to decide her course of action. Lulu got the low
card, which meant she'd be butting out. A frustrated Ethan stormed out.
In a musical montage, Olivia went to see Johnny in the hospital and kissed
him.... Sonny smiled at Claudia and led her upstairs.... Dom wooed Lulu with
a card trick, but she left anyway.... Sam went for a motorcycle ride with
Jason.... Spinelli and Maxie danced together at their new wedding site.
Wednesday
Olivia went to Sonny to talk about how Johnny almost died, "And it's not
going to happen again!" she stressed. Liv demanded that Sonny stop putting
Johnny at risk. Then, she was horrified to hear that Sonny and Claudia were
trying to have a baby again. Disgusted, she stormed out.
"This wedding is going to give me an ulcer," Mac huffed to Robin. "The groom should be arrested!" Robin and Patrick tried to calm Mac down but he wasn't hearing it. Mac said that Spinelli made even Patrick look good. Patrick thanked Mac and went to work. Robin tried in vain to
soothe Mac's ruffled feathers.
At Crimson, Maxie began to have a bridal meltdown. Lulu said if she didn't
want to go through with it, she had to tell Spinelli. Maxie refused to break
her man's heart. Later, Matt showed up and noted how tense Maxie was. Maxie
assured him that she was in love with Spinelli and ready to walk down the
aisle.
At the penthouse, Spinelli's Japanese tailor arrived to fit Spinelli and
Jason for tuxes. Spinelli asked Sam to stay to keep Jason calm through the
fitting. When Jason balked at wearing a pink tie, Sam reminded him that
Spinelli lived in a pink bedroom and never complained. Jason reluctantly
took the tie. After "the ordeal" was over, Sam told Jason that he looked
great. Jason then asked Sam to attend the wedding with him. She smiled and
agreed.
Claudia went to visit Johnny at Mercy and make peace. She told him of her
plan to have another baby with Sonny. Johnny frowned upon the idea. Back at
home, Claudia asked Sonny to "practice" some baby-making but he said he had
to go see Dominic.
Jax gave Carly a hard time about having a healthy breakfast. Carly copped
that she was worried about Michael but Jax said that the boy will find his
own way. Meanwhile, Michael had a hard time fitting in at his new school.
Standing with Kristina, Michael had another vision from his coma and ditched
class. Kiefer called Michael, "A whack job." Michael raced over to Jason's
to say he remembered something else.
Ronnie visited Dominic at G.H. Dom was furious at Ronnie for bringing in his
badge, as now it was missing and he was at risk of being exposed. Later,
Lulu stopped by and returned the badge. However, she left it on the table
across the room, and Dom couldn't get out of bed to retrieve it. Later, Jax
visited Dom and invited him to live with them during his recovery. "That's
a gracious offer," Dom noted. "What's the catch?" Just then, Sonny showed up
and wanted to talk business. Dom stared at his police badge across the room,
lying there in plain sight.
Patrick tried to give Spinelli some sage advice about dealing with Mac.
Spinelli vowed to win Mac over. Maxie went to see Robin and asked for help
to calm down. "I'm worried I'm going to ruin everything," Maxie lamented.
Maxie feared that if she married Spinelli she'd lose him forever.
Michael showed up at the penthouse and shared his vision of Sam by his
bedside. Sam, however, stated that she'd never gone to see Michael, so the
vision was not true. Michael got upset, fearing that all his memories were
merely hallucinations.
Thursday
In Dominic's room, Jax palmed Dom's badge and made an excuses to leave, leaving Sonny to invite Dom to stay at his place while recuperating. Dom balked, but Sonny insisted he needs to keep an eye on him, because Sonny thinks Anthony has targeted Dom as a turncoat. After Sonny left, Jax returned and tossed the shield to "Detective Falconeri." Jax stunned Dom by insisting he wants Sonny to "go to prison for the rest of his life," because it would make his family safer. And Jax will help any way he can. At Metro Court, Claudia told Carly that she and Sonny are trying to have another baby. When Carly said you can't replace one baby with another, Claudia accused her of trying to keep her claws in Sonny. Carly pointed out she's the mother of his kids and married him four times. Claudia said Carly blew it four times. Carly noted that she and Jax want the same kind of life. Claudia boasted that her son will be groomed to take over the Corinthos organization. "Don't mess with my kids," Carly warned. Claudia vowed to fight for what's hers. Later, back home, Claudia told Sonny she fought with Carly. He scolded her for getting Carly worked up, then told her Dom is moving in.
Olivia was assuring a convention organizer that Metro Court is perfectly safe from gunplay when Johnny stumbled, bleeding, into her office. She took him home and scolded him for sneaking out of the hospital, but he insisted he needed to see her. As she tended to his wounds, he noted she can't protect him from Sonny or anyone else. Liv said being in a relationship means taking care of the other person. Johnny wanted to spend every moment he has left with her. They kissed, but she was interrupted by a call from "Dominic Pirelli," who informed her that he's staying at Sonny's place. She called it "a bad idea on so many levels I don't know where to begin." When Dom walked into Sonny's study, he traded threats with Claudia until a suspicious Sonny entered.
Michael anguished over his false memory of Sam at the institute, and wondered if he was crazy. He recalled the fortune-teller's words that some villains are in the mirror as he looked at his own reflection. He told Sam her prophecy was coming true, "because I'm crazy," then left. He went to tell Carly about his confusion. She noted she was in coma when Morgan was born, and she hallucinated an entirely new life. But eventually she reconnected with people, and he will too. When Jax arrived, Michael had a memory of Claudia saying, "I sent the gunman. I gave the order. It's my fault you got shot."
Maxie told Robin she dreaded getting married. Robin urged her to tell Spinelli she's not ready, but Maxie noted life is short; people die all the time. She's willing to get married to keep her life moving forward. Meanwhile, at G.H., Patrick and Spinelli discussed Maxie's wish that Mac would bless their union. Patrick and Spinelli returned to the penthouse, and then Spinell took Maxie to rehearsal. Patrick and Robin found Mac ranting about how Maxie is marrying a criminal. When Maxie entered, he swept her into his arms, noting, "You're still my daughter." Lulu arrived with the bouquet, followed by Sam, Molly and Kristina. Then Jason showed. When a Buddhist monk arrived, Mac lost it and announced he was arresting Spinelli. But the monk was just passing through, and Molly explained Buddhism to everyone. Then Father Coats arrived, and the rehearsal began. Mac still grumbled and sniped — especially when the "happy" couple rehearsed their kiss. Maxie pulled Jason aside to confess she doesn't want to get married. He urged her to explain to Spinelli, but she asked Jason to make sure she doesn't flip out and flee from the ceremony. "Do not let me hurt Spinelli," she pleaded. Too bad he was eavesdropping.
Friday
On her wedding day, Maxie had a nightmare about being married to Spinelli.
In it, Jason and Spinelli prepared to go into "the field" and Jason called
Spinelli his best soldier. A pregnant Maxie then appeared, surrounded by
children, and whined to Spin that she needed his help around the house.
Soon, a very glammed-up Lulu arrived, all set to cover a fashion show in
Paris. Maxie was jealous. Robin and Patrick then brought by a babbling Mac,
who'd lost his mind after Maxie and Spin's wedding! Maxie freaked out when
everyone, including a gut-toting Spinelli, all left her. In real life, an
excited Robin and Lulu shook Maxie awake. "Rise and shine!" Lulu told her.
"It's your wedding day." The ladies got her out of bed and gave her some
coffee. They were confused when she went on about having a bunch of crying
kids and a mobster husband.
Spinelli began to panic about his wedding vows as the ceremony neared. Jason
tried to keep him calm and encouraged his pal to just say what's in his
heart.
Mac got dressed for the wedding, but was not thrilled that Maxie was going
to be marrying Spinelli. He told Patrick that while he hadn't initially been
happy about Patrick marrying Robin, at least Drake was a doctor. Mac
couldn't believe that Maxie was marrying someone involved in organized
crime.
Sam, Molly and Kristina also got ready for the nuptials. When Kristina
stepped away, Sam questioned Molly about Kris and Kiefer's relationship.
Molly declared that Kiefer is "awesome." Sam then asked if Kristina loves
Keifer; Molly replied that she didn't think it was "for-real love" like Spin
and Maxie. She compared Maxie and Spinelli to a famous literary couple, then
said that Sam and Jason are star-crossed lovers. Kiefer arrived and
complimented the girls on how they look. He wanted to show Kristina off, but
she reminded him that she had to go to a wedding.
Coleman, Carly, Jax and Morgan arrived for the ceremony. Carly and Jax
agreed that they'd marry each other all over again. Aww.
Robin helped Maxie get dressed. Maxie shared that she'd considered inviting
Felicia, but was afraid that her mom being there ‹ or not being there ‹
would both lead to feelings of resentment in some way. After, while Maxie
washed up, Robin and Lulu debated over whether Maxie would go through with
the wedding. Lulu was afraid that Spin was about to get hurt. A surprisingly
calm Maxie then emerged from the bathroom and was all set to put her gown
on. For something old, Robin gave Maxie her grandmother's handkerchief. Lulu
gave her a little clutch and Robin gave
her a blue garter. Maxie and Lulu became emotional as they stated that each
was the other's best friend.
Spinelli, Patrick and Mac arrived at the reception area. Spin promised Mac
that he'd take care of Maxie. Mac implored him to call off the wedding....
Sam, Molly and Kristina showed up. Jason continued to support a nervous
Spinelli, but Sam thought that the groom being anxious was normal....
Dominic ran into Lulu, who was surprised to see him there.... Robin arrived
and told Spinelli that the bride is on her way. Mac was horrified. Patrick
told him to get it together for his Maxie's sake.
Robin went outside and joined Maxie in the limo. Maxie mused that had
Georgie lived, she would've been the one with Spinelli. She believed that it
was Georgie's spirit that arranged for her to be with Spinelli so she could
be happy again. She thanked Robin for being like a sister to her. After,
Maxie and Mac later shared a nice moment as he told her that even though he
doesn't approve, he wants her to be happy. They prepared to walk down the
aisle together.
In the reception hall, Lulu made her way down the aisle first, followed by
Mac and the beautiful bride. Spinelli looked surprised as Mac shook his hand
and said, "I'm trusting you, son." The pair then began saying their vows.
"You saw me, you got me," Spinelli told her, "And to my utter shock and
profound utter gratitude, you loved me. That is the most precious gift and I
will never, ever betray it. And that is why," he continued, "I cannot marry
you." Maxie stared back in shock.
