Today's episode was a repeat. Happy Labor Day!

Tuesday

In Italy, Brenda and Sonny got a look at one another just before The Balkan's henchmen made their move. Posing as autograph seekers, they pulled guns on Brenda. Sonny pulled his own weapon, disarmed the thugs, grabbed Brenda and ran. Once they reached safety, Sonny noted that he finally got his timing right. Brenda explained the situation with The Balkan and they started bickering about her needing protection. They laughed, then started recalling their past history. They also mentioned that they each tried to call the other but couldn't get through. "Serendipity," Brenda marveled.

At G.H., Patrick told Lisa that he did not want to operate with her and he did not trust her as a person. Patrick even accused Lisa of planning the last minute sub for the surgery. She shot back that he can't bring his personal issues into the O.R. Steven entered and stated that the patient's family had a change of heart about the procedure. Lisa still wanted to move forward but Patrick agreed to hold off.

At the penthouse, Dante walked in on a conversation between Jason and Carly and asked them where Sonny was. Carly gave nothing up and after Dante left, she added that Sonny might be better off in prison than with Brenda.

At the Country Club, Michael balked when her friend Ali asked him to go swimming with her. Kristina tried to cover for him, but Michael said he couldn't participate because of his ankle bracelet. Ali was sympathetic. Afterward, Kristina said she noticed that Michael looked sickened when Ali touched him, adding that's how she feels after her ordeal with Kiefer. Krissy tried to convince Michael that he should still attend Madison Prep but he didn't want to return to his old school. Carly visited the country club and Kristina told her about what happened with Ali. Carly went to talk to Michael, who told his mom that he has no place in high school after spending time in prison.

Spinelli bumped into Maxie at G.H. They discussed the impact they've had on each other's lives, then parted. Spinelli got to the elevator and turned around to see Maxie talking with Matt. He got into the elevator and left. Matt discussed dinner plans and Maxie admitted her awkward moment with her ex. Matt stated that he still wanted to pursue a relationship with Maxie.

Lucky bumped into Maya at the nurses' hub. She said he was working too much. He pointed out the same to her, then asked about Ethan. Maya stressed that she and Ethan were not a couple. Elsewhere, after finding Emma's toy in her beaker in the lab, Robin rushed to check on her daughter in the hospital day care; Emma was fine. Unnerved, Robin then found Lisa at the hub and punched her, shouting at Lisa to stay away from her daughter. In front of the entire crowd, Robin told Lisa if she ever tried to harm Emma in away way, Robin would kill her. Lucky rushed to the lab and saw the toy in the beaker. Maxie followed and told Lucky that he needed to do something about Lisa. Lucky vowed he would — once he ruled out Robin as a suspect. Lucky stated that he believed Robin but he needed proof. Lucky then called in Mac. Back at the hub, Steven told Robin that he'd have to suspend her for striking another doctor. Later, Steven overheard Lisa talking to Maya about Robin. Meanwhile, Robin went home, where she told Patrick that she was taking Emma and moving in with Mac — for Emma's safety.

Suzanne and Murphy met up in front of the hotel and he told her what happened to Brenda. Murphy wanted to call Interpol but Suzanne suggested they wait to hear from her.... Dante returned to the penthouse and asked Jason and Spinelli to work together to find Sonny. Dante stated he wanted to believe Sonny was innocent but they needed to locate him.... A mysterious figure watched video of Sonny shooting Johnny.

Wednesday

At the penthouse, Jason considered Dante's offer and, for Sonny's sake, he
agreed to work together to clear Corinthos in Johnny's shooting. Dante left
and Jason ordered Spinelli to locate Brenda. Spinelli, smitten with Brenda,
quizzed Jason about his marriage to Ms. Barrett. Jason admitted that he was
not a fan of Brenda's and was very grateful to have Sam in his life. Sam
smiled as she eavesdropped on the conversation from the staircase. Spinelli
left and Jason spotted Sam, who smiled back at him.

In Italy, Sonny and Brenda shared a kiss but Brenda pulled away. "I'm
engaged," she whispered. She asked if Sonny was married. He stated that he
and Carly divorced a while ago. They talked about Jax and Carly, and then
Sonny admitted to jumping bail and fleeing the country. Sonny added that
he's worried about Kristina and feels he's not being a good father to her.
Sonny then spilled about how awful he felt about injuring Krissy with the
car bomb blast. Brenda didn't judge him, which Sonny appreciated. Sonny
continued to spill his guts, and told Brenda about shooting Dante, the son
he never knew he had. Sonny hated betraying Dante by jumping bail and
thought his kids were better off without him. Brenda told Sonny that she
knows first-hand that when he leaves someone for their own protection, it's
the wrong thing to do. Sonny offered to take Brenda back to the hotel.
There, Sonny told Brenda she deserved the best. "Tell me why you came here,"
she asked. Sonny said because he knew she would give him the right answer,
which prompted Brenda to laugh. Sonny kissed her on the forehead and said,
"I loved you from the start." It began to rain as Sonny walked away, ready
to head back to the States.

Robin insisted that Emma would be safer with Mac and showed no hesitation
about moving out. Patrick was frustrated but opened the door for her to go.
At Mac's, Robin told her uncle that she needed to stay away from Patrick for
a little while. Mac offered to break Patrick's legs but Robin said that
wouldn't be necessary. Just then, Patrick showed up at the door. Mac refused
to let him see Robin, but she conceded. Patrick told Robin that no matter
what she thinks of him, they need to work together to keep Emma safe. Robin
agreed. Patrick came up with a plan to pretend they were over so Lisa would
let her guard down.

At the hospital, Lisa told G.H. board member Nikolas about Robin's erratic
behavior towards her, and wondered if some of her post partum symptoms
returned. Lisa vowed she just wants Robin to get the help she needs.
Afterward, Nik told Steven that he believes Lisa is the insane one of the
two but Steve pointed out Robin's behavior wasn't helping matters. Later,
Patrick approached Lisa and blamed her for Robin leaving him. Lisa stated it
was probably for the best.

At the loft, a scantily clad Lulu surprised an arriving Dante but she was
the one who got the shock ‹ It was Michael, who felt incredibly awkward
after the encounter. Lulu insisted that Michael not leave. She got dressed
and headed out. Dante came home and Michael told his brother what happened.
Dante thought it was funny but Michael didn't. Michael said Lulu would be
coming back and he left the loft to go out. Dante got the loft ready for
romance and got naked.

Jax was thrilled that Carly decided not to take Josslyn out of town in order
for the baby to have more quality time with her daddy. After giving Joss a
bath and putting her down, Jax and Carly made love.

Lulu went to Wyndemere and was shocked to find Brook Lynn there and working
for Nikolas. Lulu told her brother that she hoped he didn't trust, "this
lying skank." Nik asked his sister to lay off Brook. Lulu advised him to
keep an eye on his wallet and walked out. "Is this the part where I pack my
bags?" Brook asked her host.

Lulu returned home to a naked, amorous Dante but she was so angry with
Nikolas about Brook that she barked, "It ain't gonna happen." Dante got
dressed and let Lulu blow off steam. Afterward, Dante's next seduction
attempt proved successful.

Thursday

In the park, Robin filled Maxie in on her plan with Patrick to bust Lisa. Maxie was happy that her cousin was at least working with Patrick, and advised Robin to forgive her husband. At G.H., Steven told Patrick that officially he had to suspend Robin for hitting Lisa. Then, Lisa approached and bet Patrick twenty dollars that in six months, he'd be glad to be a single man again. Maxie showed up and told Patrick that Robin was in the park, loud enough for Lisa to hear. Lisa watched as Patrick left. Patrick joined Robin in the park, and they faked a fight as Lisa spied on them. During their mock argument, Robin said their marriage was over and Patrick should be with Lisa.

Jason told Carly that Sonny was on his way back to Port Charles. "With or without Brenda?" she asked. Jason said he didn't know but doubted Brenda would accompany him, since Sonny was planning to turn himself in. Carly was not happy. Carly said she blamed Dante for Michael going to jail, and mentioned that Michael hasn't been the same since going to prison. "He's broken," she stated. "Dante can never undo what happened to Michael."

Lucky told an agitated Mac that he needed to remain calm until Lisa slipped up. Then, Tracy stopped by with a proposition: "I want you to find your father and bring him home," she said. Lucky asked if Tracy was ready to forgive him. She said no, but she needed someone to be mad at. Lucky contacted one of Luke's European fences and asked about his father. Just then, a rep from Interpol showed up. Lucky assumed it was about Luke. The agent said they know all about Luke but Interpol said they had something else in mind and showed Lucky a photo. The picture had a man who looked just like Lucky lying dead.

At G.H., Dante caught Olivia bringing pastries to Johnny in the hospital. She said she believed Johnny was lying abut being unarmed when Sonny shot him. "The truth always comes out eventually," she noted. In his hospital room, Steven told Johnny he was lucky to be alive, and mentioned that Olivia never left his side. Dante went to question Johnny again; Johnny stuck to his story. Dante left and Olivia showed up. Johnny smiled and asked if she'd care for him when he was released. Olivia said it depended on if he would tell the truth about Sonny. Johnny told Liv he still loved her; she begged him to tell the truth and drop the vendetta against Sonny. When Johnny stayed silent, Olivia left.

Alexis checked in on Nikolas at Wyndemere. Nik mentioned he was planning a trip to France and mentioned he was bringing a date: Brook Lynn. "Are you out of your mind?" Alexis asked. She pointed out that a girl from Bensonhurst wouldn't impress Nik's rich friends overseas. Brook entered and said that she liked Brook but she wasn't going to be a good match for Nikolas. However, Nik stressed that there was nothing romantic between them. "Relax," Brook advised, stating that she was strictly in it for the money. Alexis left and Nikolas said they had a lot of work to do.

Carly visited Lulu at work, where she was swamped with the phones. Carly took the phone from Lulu and calmed an irate vendor. Lulu was most appreciative. Carly then told Lulu that Sonny was coming home. "It's Sonny's world," joked Carly. "We just live in it." Lulu fretted about Sonny hurting Dante.

At the PCPD, Jason informed Dante that Sonny was coming back and turning himself in. Jason then read the police report and realized Ronnie must have ditched Johnny's gun.

Friday

The Interpol agent showed Lucky a photo of a look-alike on a slab. Lucky
assumed the image was Photoshopped. The agent informed Lucky that the man
was named Ronan O'Reilly and that he was killed in a freak accident — and
also happened to work as an assassin for "The Balkan." The agent said
Interpol wanted Lucky to infiltrate the Balkan's organization by pretending
to be O'Reilly, but they didn't have much for Lucky to go on. The agent then
provided him with a file — and 10 hours to learn it. The agent also passed
along Ronan's Blackberry. Lucky wasn't sold yet and needed more time to
consider the offer. "You have two hours to think about it," the agent said.

In Rome, Suzanne confronted Brenda on her latest kidnapping attempt. Brenda
tried to downplay it but Suzanne said that the thugs went after Murphy, too.
Suzanne added that Murphy saw Brenda run off with a handsome gun-toting
stranger. "Tell me what happened!" she implored. Brenda discussed the attack
but didn't reveal Sonny's true identity. On her way out, Suzanne told Brenda
that she needed to either go and stay with Murphy in London or return to the
States for her own protection. As Brenda prepped for another engagement, two
thugs broke in and grabbed her.

Back in Port Charles, Jason was certain that Ronnie disposed of Johnny's
gun. Claire arrived at the PCPD just as Diane presented Sonny to the
authorities. Sonny and Jason conferred, and Sonny stated he returned for the
sake of his kids and asked Jason to help prove him innocent. Meanwhile,
Dante confronted Ronnie, who feigned innocence.

In the park, Robin and Patrick continued their fake fight for Lisa's
benefit. As Robin stormed off, she caught Lisa eavesdropping. Robin accused
Lisa of stalking them; Lisa countered that she was on a break from work.
Patrick took Lisa's side, "infuriating" Robin. Lisa left, and Robin and
Patrick stopped arguing. Back at G.H., Patrick asked Lisa if Robin was right
about the stalking. Lisa warned Patrick not to get sucked into Robin's
paranoia.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas gave Brook Lynn a refresher course in etiquette.
Though initially insulted, Brook flunked Nik's fork test and agreed to
listen.

Michael went by the penthouse to see Jason. Spinelli asked if there was
anything he could do for "Young Sir." Michael asked The Jackal to stop
calling him "Young Sir." Spinelli realized the implications and agreed. They
discussed video games, then moved onto more serious topics and Michael
proved to be much wiser than his years, impressing Spinelli.

Carly arrived at the PCPD to see Sonny and asked what inspired his change of
heart. "Let me guess," she sniffed. "Brenda." Carly said she didn't care
what happened between them but if Brenda helped convince him to come back,
then Carly was grateful for that. After Carly left, Sonny talked with Claire
about her betrayal in making a case against him. Claire admitted that she's
too close to the case and said it was time to bring in a new prosecutor.

Lucky called a family meeting with Lulu and Ethan, telling them that he was
going off in search of Luke at Tracy's request. They exchanged farewells but
Lulu wondered if something was amiss. Lucky returned to the agent and said
he took a leave of absence to take the assignment. The agent was happy, but
noted if Lucky were to back out, Interpol would make things "very difficult"
for Luke.

Dante and Jason showed up at a construction site, posing as TV people, to
get some answers about the night of Johnny's shooting. The worker they spoke
with revealed that he had footage from that night and caught the shooting on
tape.
