I was really not to happy about this at first, but after looking at the Actresses website, and her acting reel, I have a little bit of hope! It was OK....nothing outstanding. But, what did strike me is that she does have the look that is Bianca, and I sense that this actress might be able to pull off the moral compass that is Bianca. Earthiness is a good description....but not too "Lilleth Fair".....LOL

My sympathies go with this actress who has been recast in the role of Bianca Montgomery. Her resemblance to Eden Riegal is striking and that most certainly will make it easier for her to be accepted in the role. However, I wonder just how much she has been told about her character

Diva, Great Post & ITA...Pratt decimated BBianca beyond repair...I would love a change in paternity, but it still doesn't change the vile, disrespectful, offensive behaviour that took place..BBianca's lack of respect for Kendall, Zach, or her boys..Her sense of entitlement..The idea that the only thing she did wrong was not "TELL" Kendall that she was going to have Zach's donation.....forgetting the fact that she should have asked Kendall before even talking to Zach..Lying to everyone for 8 months....showing up pregnant with the most hated baby in daytime history without having the decency to warn Zach of her intentions.....Moving into Kendall's home and playing Zach's non-sexual wife......It made me hate BBianca...I for one, never want to see Kinks again..I also don't want Kendall sacrificed on the alter of such a pathetic character like BBIanca any longer..What really gets me is JHC continues to call BBianca the moral compass of Pine Valley, all goodness/light, sweet, loving & loyal..... Yes Diva, she has an uphill battle.What bothers me is that the executive procducer has stated that Bianca is the moral compass of the show. I don't think having an inapproriate child with your brother in law qualifies you to be a moral compass for anyone or anything. Let's hope they are planning to change the paternity of the baby because even SOD's own Carolyn Hinsey said the baby was the most hated baby ever! AMC cannot avoid the backlash.I understand AMC wanting to strengthen the Kanes, but after what Pratt did to Bianca, the only way to do it is to change the paternity and have Bianca get her comeuppence. Having Bianca return to take on Greenlee and David and wiping the floor with them (and I hope she does this) is not going to be enough to redeem her . She needs to answer for her betrayal.AMC doesn't seem to pay any attention to history pertaining to their recasts. Jamie Luner as Liza should have given them a clue. She has never really overcome her nauseating introduction to Pine Valley.Bianca is an iconic character, unless they correct what Pratt did, this poor girl has my sympathies .Here we are six months after Pratt was fired, and a year and half after this storyline was aired, and we are just as angry now as then. This should be an indication to tptb of the massive damage Pratt did to this character.This man was not fit to write graffitti on a bathroom wall.

That's the problem with AMC....they keep putting on blinders and acting as if things are going great. I personally don't think that the new Bianca has a fighting chance, because TPTB act as if things are headed in the right direction. There are current problems that they continue not to address. So, throwing a new Bianca into the mix, when her character is so hated right now, doesn't help the show in any way.

They continue to force Ryan & Greenlee down our throats.

They continue to have David act like some weak, whiny baby...chasing after Greenlee. ( I guess they want us to believe that anyone that gets involved with Ryan or Greenlee goes through this uncontrollable paranoid state of crazy jealousy.) Neither one of them are a great catch.

They continue to force this stupid battle between Erica & Greenlee down our throats. I know I'm not the only one who thinks that Erica needs to grow the hell up and just let Greenlee have the damn company!! Why on earth won't she turn her attention to trying to revive Enchantment? A company that was much more suited to her....

They continue to shove Marissa's boring azz down our throats. She has never caught on, in my opinion, so why is she still on the show? They tried to replace Babe, after they realized they made a mistake in killing her...but I hate to break it to you, this character pales in comparison.

And I'm sorry, I don't like Scott either. He comes off corny to me, and I think he is a total waste of time on the show.

And let us all give AMC the award for the worst recast in daytime history with Jamie Luner as Liza. This was the biggest cow patty served up on a silver platter that I ever saw. She should have never been brought on as Liza. All they had to do was bring her on as a hot shot attorney that had no previous connection with anyone on the show...but no, they had to muck things up even more and give her an iconic character to play....and not only that, bring her in and change up her character so much, that she is totally unrecognizable. Good Job....NOT!!

And of course, everyone knows how I feel about that annoying little brat known as Colby. Another bad casting decision made by TPTB over at AMC. Seems to me, they need a new casting director.

Sick to death of watching Annie run around town throwing temper tantrums. Her time on the show is over. After she was busted for killing her brother, she should have went away, but they keep putting her at the center of these stupid storylines, and she is just not connecting with the audience.

The sad thing is, the people that could be carrying this show, like Angie, Jessie, Frankie, Janet, Opal ( who showed how talented she really is, during the Palmer memorial), Amanda and Jackson aren't being utilized at all. They are just being treated as filler characters that cater to the characters that the audience can't stand. And if you're going to throw Bobbi Eakes in the Lead Actress category for an Emmy, then can you give her a storyline that correlate with that nomination?

Pull your head out of your azz AMC. You have some serious damage control to deal with. Turning a blind eye and continuing to write the same garbage isn't going to help this show. It's time for a complete 180......

Because I care about the character, I am willing to give Bianca a chance, but in order for me to buy what they are trying to sell, they need to really convince me that it will be done right. Thanks to Pratt and Frons, everybody on this show damn near acted out of character at one point or another (with the possible exception being Angie). I want AMC to succeed. I have watched this show 30 years. I would be devastated to see it gone. Bianca acted very inappropriately her last time on the show. The show owes it to her to make things right. She is iconic, she is a legacy character. She was a tent pole character once upon a time. I believe she can be again. I don't really watch the show as much as I used to. I am always fast forwarding through most of the scenes. There isn't anything on that interests me. I record it out of habit. But I hold out hope that things will turn around.

I don't like Greenlee anymore because she is not as fun as she was when she first came on. Actually, I think I stopped liking her after Leo left. Back in the day, her manipulations and selfishness reminded me so much of a young Erica and when they put both of them in one another's orbit, it seemed so right, it was looking at the past and the present. Now it seems so wrong. And I stopped liking Ryan after he left Kendall the first time. Whenever I see those two on screen, I break my thumb trying to ff. They are both so obnoxious and overbearing to me. And I am just now seeing what everybody else is seeing. The writers do bend storyline to fit Ryan and Greenlee. I hate seeing them with characters I care about. I am just so over them.

Writing him a as the good guy without ever seeing how he became one does't make him one. He never was and never will be the knight in shining armor. He and Greenlee are one and the same person...both arrogant, selfish, self entitled loathsome creatures. I still am trying to fathom how a writer or executive producer thinks these kinds of characters make for lead characters..... Then has the gall to come out, and in print no less, say what a moral compass a character is... one that betrayed her sister and family in the basest of ways.I don't know what angers me more... that these loathsome characters, Annie, David, Ryan, Greenlee and Bianca are front and center making a show I loved since 1978 when I was eight, unwatchable or that the writers justify and reward crime, family betrayal, and stupidity with frontburner stroylines.

I've simply stopped caring about AMC. I don't have any faith in the New HW's. They seem to be following suit with the former writers, and in doing so they are delivering an equal amount of crap to the screen. I hate to say this out loud, but I can't wait for this show to be yanked off the air. Maybe then TPTB will see you can't continue to ignore your viewing audience without suffering major consequences. Find some more talented actors, writers and producers ABC, and premiere a brand new soap, because All My Children is dead to me.

I am sorry to hear that. I am really not that into the show right now, but I am hoping against hope that something can be done to improve the show. SOD says the show is much improved and I agree to a certain extent, I just don't think it is as profound as they make it seem. I did not like Adam and Brooke's exit. They should have left with great fanfare. There should have been fireworks and it should have been explosive. I haven't seen Angie in a week, Frankie in a month, and everytime I turn on the show, I still see a heavy dose of Greenlee, David, JR, Marissa, Erica, Ryan, Liza, Randi, Madison and Damon, who I can't stand. Angie and Jesse's grandchild is Liza's nephew. Why aren't they playing that instead of having Liza deliver news about baby Stuart, or obsessing over the insipid Damon. It is just so crazy to me that there is unmined history.

That's why I have stopped watching. There are absolutely no stories on AMC that are of any interest to me. They continue to focus too heavily on Greenlee, Erica, David & Ryan....and the sad thing is, I used to love Greenlee, but I can't even stand to see her on the screen anymore. They all seem to get more toxic as time goes by. They need to develop some stories for Opal, Angie, Jessie, Jackson & Frankie....you know, the characters that the fans actually like. AMC is just a joke, and SOD's undying support for the garbage that they conitnue to spew out is ridiculous. I'm not going to watch until AMC heads in a completely different direction. Hopefully, they won't get cancelled by that time.

What I think JHC was trying to state is that Bianca WAS the moral compass of the show at one time. Her undying sense of right and wrong and her endless compassion made her a great heroine.Now, the decimation heaped upon the character by Pratt needs to be addressed head on like everyone wants to see.Here's what I WOULD WATCH (if I ever tune in again)They return to town, and the sperm-baby is diagnosed with some disease, and is terminal. They discover through this that the baby is not Zachs at all. As the baby lay dying, Bianca has to come to terms that SHE put all this in motion. She Hurt Her sister, her mother, her lover, and her selfish actions brought this child into the world. Now that child lie dying, and if Bianca was not so selfish, the child wouldn't be here to suffer such as she is.That COULD go a long way torward righting the ship, and developing Bianca back to the character she was conceived to be when Eden took over the role.Can Bianca be a moral compass again. You bet. But unfortunately, the child has to go, and Bianca has to suffer the horror no mother should have to suffer in order to bring humility and honesty back to the character.

I do believe that could set her back on track to becoming what she used to be, but it's not enough to make me watch again. Right now I just take a look, see it still sucks and change the channel.A natural disaster wiping out half of the residents is the only way I can stand to watch again full time.I miss the show for what it used to be.

I totally agree with you. I have said that before....AMC needs a big natural disaster: a flood, tornado, hurricane or earthquake...something to wipe out some dead weight. Then they can wipe the slate clean and start from scratch. After the disaster, it would be a good idea to return our characters that we know and love, back to the people we remember them to be. But right now, as it stands, AMC has way too many newbies, that I see as dead weight. They aren't focusing on the history of the show, and too many veterans are sitting on the backburner. Give Opal, Angie, Jessie, Jackson, Frankie & Tad some good storylines that they can work with....and bring back the Cordtlands!!

They don't need natural disasters, they need a writing team that will write a good story. Have Bianca's baby's father be donor #6458 and not Zach because his specimen got lost or destroyed. They are just too ugly and unwatchable. Now they have committed a federal crime by sabotaging Erica's plane...are they going to do the time for it? Or are they going to skate like Annie did for cold blooded murder? It's sheer irresponsibilty on the part of the writers to allow David and Greenlee to get away with sabotaging a plane, private or not, with the state of air travel and threats of terroroism on the airlines these days. Complete irresponsibility! How I want Annie murdered! When JR said he would find another way to get her out of the gatehouse..I thought murder. She's serves no other purpose now other than murder victim. Maybe we'll get a murder with a good trial now that Jack is back. Have Jack man up and be a real father to Greenlee and smack the sh*&$ out of the gnome the way he should have done years ago. However,we won't see anything that resembles consequences for the crimes and betrayals that are committed because the writers don't seem to want to write the follow through of the plot points they write.... it would be too much work and strain their brain. It was wonderful to see Erica's flashbacks of Palmer on Friday..they held a lot of lovely memories of a show that once had intelligence, glamour, humor, and writing that reflected talent and creativity.By the way... does this nuBianca seem a tad too young to be a mother to two children? She was the bomb at Y&R. I know I am in the majority, but I like Annie. I just wished the writers had written her differently. I loved her going nutty on us, But I think they should have addressed the killing her brother issue. I remember that episode and I think that it was an accident. He was taunting her and she hit him with the tire iron because it was in her hand, I think she was fixing a tire. That was understandable. What happened afterwards screwed up Annie for most fans. when they put her in the looney bin people still liked Annie. Because let's face it. People were rooting for her and Aiden. I think once they put her in Adam's orbit, people really started hating her. I think that if they start to make her suffering a little more believable, the viewers may start rooting for her. Just like the fans want Bianca to suffer, Annie needs too also. Because from what I am seeing, she ain't going nowhere anytime soon.
