From today's show it seems to me that Adam Killed his own brother.
I dont know why he would be crying saying that unless he did it. That is just the feeling i got from the scene. I dont think Annie did it now.
Are you talking about when Annie was helping with the boxes? Was that a handkerchief? And what does it mean? It has to be important because it started her daydreaming. I still think Annie did it. And I think that for someone who professes to love and need her daughter all the time .. then why use her. She wants Emma to get on the stand and everything else that goes with that. This is one of the reasons that Kendall wanted to avoid a trial..so Emma wouldn't have to go through that. So I guess Annie will do, say or use anybody to get wheat she wants. I just hope her daughter doesn't end up as crazy. And 1 more thing, she got so wrapped up in her day dream about bashing Kendalls head in with a fireplace poker that she was caught swinging it around. She is capable of anything.
When Annie was daydreaming about Adam crying into that handkerchief, it showed Emma come into the attic and say, "Mommy, I saw." And Annie told her she mustn't tell what she saw. Yet, when Annie visited Emma's bedroom and Emma said she saw who shot Stuart, Annie acted surprised and told her not to tell anyone. Maybe we have two writers who don't check with one another before they put pen to paper! Or Pratt is suffering from Alzheimer's and can't remember what he wrote from one day to the next.
I do not think that Pratt knew exactly who the murderer was when he started writing this storyline (sort of like McT who said she didn't decide Tad killed Madden until the last minute). Or he changed his mind. Nothing makes much sense and yes..details change all the time. It's frustrating. It certainly doen't push me to watch all the time..because it's no longer important that viewers watch every day. Before if you missed a day, you risked missing something important. Now, it's not big deal because the continuity sucks and facts are continually changed. But that's nothing new for the current writers. They have been changing storylines all year. if they don't feel something is working, they just pretend it never happened. They must believe that the audience is really stupid because it seems like they think we won't remember if they don't mention it.If that is the case, that is a said miscalcuation on their part.
Do you think that is why they are constantly repeating the SAME lines over and over? Trying to drill them into our heads.
Today's show made me think that there's something to your theory that Adam shot Stuart. When Emma went to Adam and said, "Mommy didn't shoot Stuart and you know that, too." Adam was in such a drugged stupor, he might have been hallucinating and thought he was shooting himself. That would explain the cryptic voice-over we heard when the camera closed in on the body on the floor. Adam's voice saying "I have to die for all the things I've done. . ." That just made no sense when we learned that it was Stuart lying there, but if it was Adam behind the gun, it all makes sense. And, of course, if he did it while he was drugged out of his mind, then that would be his defense in court. cympoint, I think you may be right. Annie probably witnessed it, too, and wants Emma to keep quiet because she figures the knowledge will give her leverage in her plan to marry Adam. Quite an incriminating bit of info to hold over his head. Puts a whole new spin on Emma as a witness.
If he did do it..between the drugs & killing the one person you love more than anything you other half/ better half...he may have blocked it out. ?? I don't want it to play out like that.
He was so drugged, he doesn't remember much about that night. Bits and pieces are coming back to him a little at a time. If it is true, Adam will never be the same.
No he won't & I don't like it at all. He was drugged & being bullied by half the town, so I don't blame him for having a gun in his own home. What is ticking me off is the writing. This is a this is a superb actor & characters both Adam & the beloved by all Stuart. I don't want it to go down like this. This was a dumb idea for a story, that should have being deleted before they hit print. If this was a must murder than fine, but there are a few who should have went down instead for Stuart.
I think you're right. I have thought for a week or so now that Adam did it in a drugged induced attempt to kill himself. Frankly, I think it's a brilliant idea that could have been better written. That being said, I believe we can forgive TPTB for some of the writing gaffs. It's gotta be hard to come up with new stories all the time. That's why we keep seeing the same stories over and over. At least this one has a fresh twist.
Correct me if I'm wrong. When Stuart was shot, his head was facing the terrace, which means he was shot in the back, not the chest which now seems to be the case (I guess that's why they added the bullet hole on the glass). There also was someone in the tunnels (3 guns were pointed at Stuart before the shot was fired). We still don't know who that was.
If the bullet that killed him came from the terrace, and he was facing the terrace at the time, then the wound would be in his chest. That said, it would seem that if a person were shot in the chest, they would fall backwards, not face down. These oversights are moot, since ballistics proved that the gun found on the terrace was the murder weapon. What I can't figure out is, when Kendall imagined she saw Stuart "visit" her, he was wearing an argyle sweater with a blood stain on the chest. Nice trick, since he was wearing a suit and tie when he was shot. Makes no sense.

Wow! You guys are good. I never picked up on any of that and the thought of Adam being the one who killed is own brother is brillant. Now if they can finally stop having Kendall and Annie hog the whole hour and get rid of Ryan all together, it would be better. I am about to stop watching. For me personally, the show is getting so boring, except for Tad, he's a hoot. Im just anxious to find out the truth and get on with another SL.

I decided that early on since everything happened when Adam was being drugged by Dr Evil and spent most of his time dazed and confused.. it may be almost too obvious and they may end up with somebody else but my money's still on Adam.. for now..
Mel I thought that early also but the day I posted this was when the attic scene solidified it for me.
Now, Kendall has been sentenced and Jessie is helping Zach send a double to prison in her place to buy time to prove Annie killed Stuart. They'd better widen their investigation because Annie is not really the killer. I simply cannot believe that Jessie is jeopardizing his career by doing all these risky coverups. His own daughter is ready to burn him. When Kendall's double is discovered, Jessie's career is toast!
I know Jesse's Daughter needs to be smacked. I would just dare one of my kids to talk about me and anything I was doing.
Right. When Jesse told her things are not always as they seem and she needs to trust him, she got all righteous and started preaching to him about the law. We know he's bending the law a bit, but we also know it's because he knows what's what and he wants to see justice done. She's still a police academy recruit and she thinks she knows everything there is to know about police work. I liked her at the beginning, but she's becoming a royal pain in the a$$.
Jessies daughter is doing her job. Whats wrong with that? Jessie isn't her dad at work. He's a boss doing wrong. Jessie is breaking the law, which he is to uphold...the whole story is stupid to me. The scene Friday with Liza & Marion ( who I love & have missed) almost made me barf. Heck the day I watched Jessie's daughter was one of the few times someone made since to me.
I think to me it was not that she was trying to get to the truth..it was her attitude that was so unappealing. She IS young and a new cop and has a lot to learn. The fact that her father is doing something wrong is sort of irrelevant. At this point, she has no proof. She is the lowest ranking cop on the force..she is new...and Jesse is a veteran. There is protocol and rules about the ways to go about doing things...and she is not following any of them. If a superior says to back off..you back off.To me, she sounded like a spoiled teenager who is not getting her way and acts like she knows everything. Everything is NOT as it seems in life..and though Jesse may be wrong here, his comments are true and everything is not always black and white.
Wow this thread is prob going to come to life this month. Adam DID IT. And we are still talking about Natalia acting like she is a know it all cop.
Darn! I knew that I'd read comments about Natalia somewhere, but I couldn't find it before I started the new thread!
It's funny ..in a sad sort of way that recently both Charles Pratt and Melissa Claire Egan stated that the fact that Adam is the murderer is going to be this huge suprise that no one saw coming.Funny that as early as July on this board alone, people were considering him to be a really good option. It's been discussed all over the place on any number of websites that Adam was the probable killer of Stuart. The idea that AMC is again stating the ridiculous..that this ending is a huge surprise that no one predicted...again shows how out of touch AMC really is with the public. It's amazing to me that they actually have professionals there who seem to have NO clue whatsover what is going on. I am sorry if that sounds harsh but honestly, in the last year especially, it's been one disaster after another.
Everytime I read an interview by Mr. Pratt...I'm hit by the fact that he is really out of touch with the viewers and our perceptions of the show.Admittedly, when this murder mess began, I didn't believe it was Adam and I'm not sure that it was planned to be him originally, but as the story progressed, it became obvious that it was him. I know many fans called this early. There is nothing startling or surprising about it. And at this point in time, are there any fans that really care who the guilty party is? This story and the others are old and repetitive.
THe only thing about all this is that they killed Stuart off. I loved him.
Wouldn't you think that Pratt and TPTB at AMC would check in on these forums once in a while? They might be surprised to find that sometimes the fans are way ahead of the story!
Well at least the forshadowing made sense in this story.Sometimes they put some scenes on soaps which make no sense whatsoever, I think they try to set up a story to go one way and then change their minds and wham the fans are thinkiing so what the heck was the point of that certain scene.
I don't even watch AMC anymore, and I have always thought, just from what I have read, that it was Adam who killed Stuart...
YES it IS ADAM! I was right. I hope they get off Annie's back now. Free Kendall of all charges so she can ride off into the sunset with Both her kids and Zach.
I must say, we're "underwhelmed" by Pratt's huge surprise that was supposed to have us reeling. How could he fool himself into thinking nobody would ever guess?!?!?! We've had it right from the beginning.

We've had it right from the beginning. I went back to working days and haven't watched.. Adam did it and he was the first person I thought of.. well... go me.. I'm usually wrong! As for clearing everybody and Zack and Kendall riding off in to the sunset.. wish she'd go and wish even more he'd stay...but since Thorsten is leaving the show, I guess I won't get my way...dang it...
I still have hopes that they both moved to OLTL.
Oh, no! If they moved to OLTL, Kendall might risk losing Zach to Marty (Susan)!! But wouldn't their love scenes be awkward . . .
I like the dark haired Marty that came back with to OLTL with Cole much better.
Oh no!. What I want is to watch Kendall but Marty in her place . I agree about the other Marty. I did like Susan for the first time ever when Todd was taking care of her, but then she got her memory back & went back to thinking shes holier than thou.
I don't even watch OLTL, but I just know Susan is Thorsten's real-life other half.
i know I liked Marty with Todd much better.
do you hate it?crazy facts
