I had never heard of him either but I am enjoying his stint on the show. There's a dark, mysterious, sexiness thing he has going on and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I wasn't real familiar with him before this either. But his character is dark and mysterious, and ask Maxie, he definitely has some animal magnetism....

If you said Redford or Pitt was coming to GH...then I would have sat up and paid attention.But James Franco...yead he is sexy and all that, and has some movie credits, but he is not this raging star that everyone says he is! If it wasn't for Spiderman.....He is like Shannon Tweed....always around.

Franco's entrance to Port Charles has left me shaking my head; I don't get it so far. Sure, he is pretty to look at; however, the storyline, so far, has been very confusing. I'm counting on GH, I'm crossing my fingers that the writers make me glad I sat through every episode (and the one's to come). I like the character's mysteriousness and darkness; and didn't he bed Maxie while the art show was litterally happening? Anyway, still crossing my fingers that the storyline makes all the hype about a movie star on the show worth it. JMO

So far, the story stinks. It's like it was written by 4th graders. If this is the best they can do for a "star" like Franco, that's the biggest star they'll get. The actors in the story are the only thing that makes it watchable. But, I personally cannot stand the moronic dialogue between Jason, Sam & Spinelli as they try to figure out what should be obvious. I think it's time they call in someone with a brain. Paging Molly Lansing! Maybe she can put the pieces together for the genius adults. While she's at it, maybe she should take a crack at writing the story.

Aren't Morgan and Molly adorable child actors? Hope GH keeps them around like they did with Robin.

They are adorable. I especially admire Morgan. Very good little actor he is.

I also had no idea who Franco is/was prior to this. What does it matter if he's some big-time movie star if I've never seen anything he's done and never heard of him. I am, however, super excited about seeing Marsh Thomason in this storyline, and hope we get to see more of her.

Well, I am happy to see that I'm not the only one who never heard of James Franco. I had to Google him to find out who he is. We have to give this storyline a chance to play out...it's only been a couple of days. He is nice to look at though!

I don't even know who Marsha Thomason is. What has she played/starred in?

That's the only show I know of that she was on & I think she was only on one season. I only tuned into it because of James Caan & Josh Duhamel. I only watched the first season.

I like the show & was ticked that it got canceled without a closing to the show. She was one all season.. i think there was 3 ??

I think there were 5 seasons - 3 with James Caan, 1 where Dean Cain owned the hotel, and the last one where Tom Selleck owned the hotel. It is one of my all time favorite shows, which I watched because of Josh Duhamel (I try to support Daytime actors in their transition to primetime & movies).
