No one thinks Parker and Liberty getting married is a good idea but throwing Parker out of a house he doesn't own and doesn't live at is the height of hubrus! Are you serious!?! That's Carly's house and he threw him out like he had a say. At this point I'm routing for the kids now just to show Jack what for!
I agree his reaction was authentic and I would have done the same thing most likely. My issue was him throwing Parker out of Carly's house. I don't believe he had the right to do that. Clearly his ego believes that's his house, that's my problem. It's evident that their tack on this whole Liberty/Parker situation isn't working. Had they taken had different approach or admitted they don't what the heck their doing, maybe the kids wouldn't have resorted to marriage.
Actually, I believe Jack owns half the house, so he does have the right to kick Parker out of it.I couldn't believe it when Parker thought he and Liberty could stay in Parker's room.
Yeah, I am on Jack's side. If Parker & Liberty want to play adults let them learn it first hand! Married and on your own!!
I have to give props to Jack. To throw Parker out of the house where he doesn't reside in anymore took guts. What I don't get was the Judge. How could a man of authority tell Carly she couldn't lay a hand on her son. Here was a woman trying to punish her child for being disobedient. And, whose son was behaving badly. What right did he butt in on that. I think the Judge should reprimanded on that. Now that Parker and Liberty are married it is time for them to act like grownups. Hey Gwen got eminciapted from her mom, got a place to live, had a job and a baby with no help whatsoever. Parker, grow up.
I don't blame Jack, he's at his wits end! He's been trying to do the right thing & you could tell it was killing him to send Parker away & now they're married. The kid was a brat, Carly was trying to do what any mother would have done but man Parker did a number on her. Now Jack is gonna have to deal with Janet & Carly & Craig is gonna come out looking like the good guy. You gotta feel sorry for Jack

I believe you are right about him owning half the house, along with Jack paying living expenses there too. Seems there should be no more child support for the newly married Parker.I'm definitely on Team Jack. Somebody had to do something. And Jack should have been called when they had an idea what might be going on and Janet should have been informed. It might have had a very different outcome if all of them arrived in the judge's office together.I thought Maura, Mick and Michael were all sensational in those scenes! They had me mesmerized, something the show hasn't done in a long time. Special kudos to Michael however. He hasn't had anything like that to work with in some time and he was fantastic. I got chills as he told Parker to step away.
You had to feel sorry for Jack today especially when he was sitting on the porch at the farm talking to Hal saying that he was losing "their"boy. Broke my heart!
OMG I admit the tears started when Jack started talking to Hal. That scene was perfect! It was so simple but so packed with emotion.I loved the way things played out today because you really could see where everyone is coming from and nobody is doing 100% right or wrong. There are so many layers and shades of gray. And the acting is superb!
I don't blame Jack either. Those kids are so bratty it's unbelievable. Let's see Parker act like an adult since he wants to be treated as such. Grow up kid now that you have to support yourself and a wife.
I totally agree with Jack on this one. Am i the only one that seems to remember all the crap Parker and Liberty have put their parents through? I always thought Parker was a whiny little brat and his latest actions solidify that; just because he doesn't want to go to boarding school, he's gonna go get married? Smooth move genius. Now as a mother, it would tear out my heart to have to throw my son out, but at the same time he has been nothing but disrespectful to both his parents for much too long. Parker wants to be an adult, so he can have at it. It won't be long before he sees the error of his ways.
Couldn't have put it better myself!
Jack is my hero for throwing those brats out. But in the end, we all lose because everyone will make up eventually and Parker will come home instead of being away at boarding school where he belongs.

I don't know, I'm totally on Team Jack here. While he did go over the top, the kids just got married and Craig and Carly stood around doing nothing! I felt like his reaction was totally authentic not just to Jack as a character but for MOST parents in that situation.
