I agree with you. They don't want her for their own reasons but they don't want her to go out with Neil either. They need to take care of themselves and let Carly go out with whoever she pleases.

I'm a Neil fan already. But then, like Carly, I have a soft spot for rogue-ish men with accents...

after watching today's episode, i am appalled by the way everyone's acting and how they're treating carlygranted, carly is no saint, but neither are the rest of themi'm a jack fan, but his holier-than-thou attitude is getting to me - i'm glad that carly finally stood up for herself with him!!

I think everyone is trying to make Carly the bad guy, and granted, she doesn't have a clean past, but give the girl a break. She told Holden to go back to his wife forget about what feelings that have and be happy with her. Did HE listen, knooooowwwwww, he just had to have Carly. I'm saying Carly is 100% innocent here, but she did try to do the right thing from the very beginning. Holden is the one who pursued Carly. I noticed Holden didn't say anything about that yesterday. And Jack can't say too much because he "has" moved on with Juicy Janet.

I have to agree this does make for an intriguing storyline. It is not like Carly was always making excuses to see Holden, and he did fly to NY to stop her from going to Paris with Neal. How all the blame can be put on her is beyond me. Holden was most certainly the one chasing after Carly, but of course, she still had the option to put on the brakes.
