It was steve but yeah I was rolling it over in my head too. Jason and A.J. are half brothers, Jake is jason's and Elizabeth's son and Michael is A.J. anc Carly's son. So, I don't get it either.

I am a Guiding Light refugee who has come back to GH....watched it in college 30 years ago. Aren't Jason and Steve actually cousins.....Jason's mother Susan and Steven Lars mother Heather were cousins I believe. Also, what happened to Jeff, Heather and Heather's mother Alice. GH was really great in those days.

The original AJ (Not Billy Warlock) looked alot like the actor that plays Michael & so did Shawn Kaanan (AJ #2). According to Lila, Jason looks like Edward when he was young so apparently the looks are all Quartermaine & that's why they all resemble each other.

The AJ that was onscreen before Sean Kanaan was dark like Billy Warlock. The visual distinction of AJ character was darker because he was a darker character.Jason, even after the brain damage, was always written as a 'good' or light character. He was always a blonde or light character. It helps that SB is the only adult to play Jason.The Q's are a dark bunch. Look at them. Monica married in. the only really light Q, or good Q was Chloe. All of them, Jimmy Lee, Celia, Tracy, Alan, Ned, Tracy, Brook....think about it.

My children are half brother and sister and they look alike. So not having the same mom or dad doesn't matter. I look nothting like my parents but I look just like my aunt... Yes Steven and Jason are cousins. Susan and Heather are cousins so that makes them 2nd cousins. Side note, If Jeff Weber still alive? If so why has he never visted? Now here is something that is really starting to drive me nuts. ... Michael is moving just like Jason and I hate it. I don't like copy cats its and this is going over board for me.

Lets face it.. only careers in PC are mobster or DR. Otherwise, you get written off the show. Michael really only has two choices.

I don't think that's what it's about with CD making Michael do those things. I think it's about playing up inherited mannerisms. All the actors on the show do that. Ethan has alot of the same mannerisms as Luke. So does Lucky. Lulu's very much like Carly, as well.As for why Jason's so much like Sonny, I think that was an acting choice as well. When Jason woke up, his brain was blank. Spending all that time with Sonny, he picked up his mannerisms & speech patterns. When Michael was little, he mimicked everything Sonny did. I actually like when actors do that. It's a sign to me that they're really paying attention to subtlety. In real families, behaviors are inherited. So & so does this when they laugh just like Aunt somebody. It adds a small touch of realism.
